Abstract

The objective of strategic planning is to establish and improve the business and the company's products to achive company profit and growth target. Internal environment that can be analyzed include several things, as marketing and distribution, research and development factors and engineering, production and operation management factors, company employee resources, finance and accounting, while the external environment which has a influence on the viability of small industries, inflation, economic growth rates, political conditions, government regulations, technological developments, supplier numbers, competitive conditions and market tastes. Research data is collected by interview with related resource, which are the department of Cooperatives and SMEs of Denpasar and association of SMEs. The Department of Cooperatives and SMEs of Denpasar and the association of SMEs is selected as data resource because both are the authorities in the determination of policy, strategy development and development of SMEs. The result of SWOT analysis shows that MSMEs in Denpasar are in Quadrant IV.

Abstract

Abstract

An industry that is successful in its business is an industry that is able to create the right strategy formulation, because the right strategy can determine the success of Small and Medium Enterprises can compete in the global market. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of innovation on entrepreneurial marketing, creativity on entrepreneurial marketing and the influence of entrepreneurial marketing on marketing performance. The population in this study were the Small and Medium Enterprises actors whose sales systems were carried out using the Entrepreneurial Marketing system. In this study the number of indicators used was 21 x 10. So, the number of samples determined was 210 respondents. The sample determination technique used in this study is based on purposive sampling technique, namely sampling based on criteria. The criteria for selecting a sample are the actors of Small and Medium Enterprises who apply the concept of Entrepreneurial Marketing in their business. The next step is accidental sampling, which is the sampling technique that is carried out on Small and Medium Enterprises actors that are easy to find. Data analysis method used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) from the PLS statistical package. Results of Innovation Research have a positive and significant effect on Entreprenuerial Marketing in Small and Medium Enterprises in Denpasar City. Creativity has a positive and significant effect on Entreprenuerial Marketing in Small and Medium Enterprises in Denpasar City. Entreprenuerial Marketing has a positive and significant effect on curious performance.

Abstract

The value of firm is something that can be seen through several share prices of the firm itself. To increase value of the firm, they should escalate consumer reliance, and conducting social responsibility is one way to increase society reliance to the company so as to increase the value of the firm itself. This study aims to determine the effect of corporate social responsibility to value of the company with profitability as moderating variable.The population used in this study are the mining companies registered in Bursa efek Indonesia period 2014 – 2016. Purposive sampling is method used in this research with the sample as much as 19 mining companies. MRA (Moderated Regression Analisys) is used as data analisys technique with interaction tests. The results of the study show that corporate social responsibility variables do not affect the firm value. Profitability as a moderating variabels cannot moderate correlation between Corporate Social Responsibility with firm value. However, profitability as independent variable has an affect to firm value.

Abstract

Bond rating is a transferable medium-term debt that contains a promisefrom the issuing party to pay the interest at a specified period and settle the debtprincipal at a predetermined time to the bond buyer. This study aims to re-examinethe influence of earnings management, financial ratios, and corporate governancemechanisms on bond ratings. The sample in this study are 10 financial and nonfinancial companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2013-2016.Research sample determination is using purposive sampling method. Research datawas analyzed by using logistic regression analysis. The results showed that earningsmanagement does not affect the bonds rating which shown with a significance value of 0.284. The financial ratios also has no effect on bond’s rating which is shown with a significance value of 0.856. And corporate governance also has no significanteffect on bonds rating with significance level of 0.885.

Abstract

Income smoothing practices is a common phenomenon and is one of the earnings management that is defined as a reduction in income likely fluctuations from year to year by moving income from year to year high earnings to periods that are less favorable. This study aimed to examine the influence of NPM, ROA, firm size and financial leverage on the income smoothing on companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses Eckel index to classify companies that do or do not do income smoothing practices. The sample used in this study were 68 companies listed on the Stock Exchange within three years from 2012 to 2014 with the selection purposive sampling method. The statistical analysis used in this study with descriptive statistics and logistic regression results from Eckel index menunjukkanadanya income smoothing practices undertaken by companies listed on the Stock Exchange. In the multivariate analysis of the four independent variables, it turns out all the variables significantly influence income smoothing practices.

Abstract

Teori stakeholder menyatakan bahwa perusahaan harus memenuhi kepentingan semua pemangku kepentingan untuk menjamin keberlangsungan perusahaan. Corporate Social Responsibility nampaknya menjadi salah satu upaya perusahaan untuk mempertahankan hal tersebut. Pelaksanaan CSR yang berkelanjutan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan citra positif perusahaan di mata masyarakat, yang akan memberikan keuntungan di masa yang akan datang. Selain itu, CSR juga diharapkan memberikan keuntungan kepada masyarakat, terutama masyarakat lokal yang terdampak langsung oleh kegiatan bisnis perusahaan, keuntungan bagi masyarakat bisa berupa peningkatan taraf hidup yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh corporate social responsibility terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat dan citra perusahaan. Perusahaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Hardys Group Denpasar yang telah menerima penghargaan CSR kota Denpasar 2013-2014. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada masyarakat mengenai CSR,kesejahteraan masyarakat, dan citra perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada masyarakat kota Denpasar sebanyak 863.600 jiwa. Berdasarkan rumus slovin, maka diperoleh sebanyak 400 responden untuk dijadikan sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menemukan bahwa CSR berpengaruh negatif terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat, dan CSR berpengaruh positif terhadap citra perusahaan.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in commemoration of Kartini Day which also aims to fulfill obligations in the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and to ease the burden on the children at the Hindu Dharma Jati 1 Orphanage and Yassika Orphanage who were directly affected by the economic impact of the pandemic. Covid-19. This activity was carried out by distributing basic necessities, stationery, and toilets and not to forget a little entertainment in the form of fun games. The results of this Social Service activity show that partner problems, with the Covid-19 pandemic, have caused the Hindu Dharma Jati 1 Orphanage and Yassika Orphanage to lose several permanent donors. We, from the Management Study Program Student Association, Mahasaraswati Denpasar University, took the initiative to help government programs in easing the burden on the community, especially the lower middle class who were greatly affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. The method of activity used is to collaborate with the administrators of the Hindu Dharma Jati 1 Orphanage and Yassika Orphanage. Before the activity was carried out, we made initial communication with the local orphanage management who then conducted a field survey to find out the real conditions and identify targets in the implementation of Community Service activities. After getting the data for the orphanage that meets the criteria as targets, then further communication is needed to the orphanage management in determining the implementation time and technical activities.

Abstract

Leverage is the use of assets and sources of funds that incur fixed costs, which aim to increase the potential returns of shareholders. This study aims to determine the effect of degree of financial leverage and degree of operating leverage on profitability. The sample of this study was 19 transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The data is analyzed by multiple linear regression. The test results show that: 1) Financial Leverage has a negative and significant effect on profitability; 2) Operating Leverage has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Based on these findings, it is suggested that the company can use the operating leverage to improve profitability, but to be careful in the use of financial leverage because it can reduce profitability.

Abstract

This study uses three dimensions of financial literacy, namely financial knowledge, financial behavioral and financial attitude. This study examines the effect of financial literacy on investment decision behavior. This research takes data from entrepreneurs in Bali, Indonesia. Bali has an entrepreneurial ratio to population that is higher than the national average. The regression results show (1) financial knowledge does not affect investment decision making, (2) financial behavior does not affect investment decision making, (3) financial attitude has a positive effect on investment decision making. These results indicate that the financial knowledge and how someone behaves about finance does not have an impact on investment decisions as an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs in our sample may become an entrepreneur even though does not have sufficient financial knowledge and has not shown good financial management behavior.
