Abstract

Based on the observation at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh, the researcher found a problem that students were unable to find important points in the qiraah text, so it was difficult to understand the text regularly according to the storyline in the text. This is due to the denseness of the text presented in the book and also the writing that is less interesting to read, so that it makes students bored to study the contents of the text. Therefore, the researcher wants to develop this book with an illustrated companion book to help students learn Arabic with an attractive appearance. The purpose of this study was to find out the level of validation and effectiveness of the use of the Illustrated Companion Book that had been developed. This study used the R&D (Research and Development) method, and the research instruments used were direct observation, questionnaire and test. The researcher took 31 students from class VII 1 as a sample. As for the data analysis technique, the researcher used the T-Test formula from the SPSS application. The result obtained from this research is the arabic textbook development process consists of ten steps: “research and information, collecting, planning, develop preliminary form of Illustrated Companion Book, preliminary field testing, main Illustrated Companion Book revision, main field testing, operational Illustrated Companion Book revision, operational field testing, final Illustrated Companion Book revision and dissemination and implementation. And the development of an Illustrated Companion Book based on expert judgment, which is valid with a value of 93.5%. The test result showed that the use of an illustrated companion book is effective in improving students' ability to translate and understand the contents of the text on a regular basis. In a way that is based on the results of the value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 which indicates that (Ha) was accepted.

Abstract

The subject of this thesis is “The Compatibility between Basic Competencies and the Contents of the Book "Arabic Lessons"”. One of the reasons that led the researcher to write this thesis because the teacher uses this book as one of the learning media. Hypothetically, the contents of the book "Arabic Lesson, Student Book (Curriculum Scientific Approach 2013) for MA Class X" are not in line with the basic competencies that have been summarized by the government. Therefore, the researcher wanted to do this research to find out the extent of conformity and nonconformity between basic competence with the content of the book "Arabic Lesson". The objectives of this thesis are to identify the suitability between the basic competencies of the curriculum 2013 for MA with the contents of the book "Arabic Lessons" and to identify the mismatch between the basic competencies of the curriculum 2013 for MA with the contents of the book "Arabic Lessons". The research method used by the researcher in writing this thesis is descriptive analysis of content analysis. The population in this study is the basic competence of the 2013 curriculum in Arabic lessons for MA as many as 96 basic competencies. In the process of collecting data, Researcher uses Document Research instrument. And using qualitative analysis in analyzing data. The results obtained by the researcher is that the contents of the book "Arabic lesson" is good and in accordance with the basic competence of the 2013 curriculum which is stated in Ministry of Manpower Decree No.165 in terms of reading, writing, listening, conversation, and sentence skills. There are some disagreements between basic competence and the hearing material in chapters 2 and 4, and the conversation material in chapter 6 as well as the sentence of  “'indi/ma'I”, the order of this sentence is found in chapter 4 in the explanation of “Jar, wa ma'naha” and there is no specific explanation about it.

Abstract

Based on observations in class one (1) MTsN 4 Aceh Selatan. The researcher found that some students had problems, they had difficulty writing. As well as the difficulties faced by students regarding spelling, use of punctuation marks, choosing vocabulary, and constructing sentences. To overcome this problem, the researchers developed learning imla' manqul with rabthil letters based on the Learning Together approach and the Scramble method at MTsN 4 Aceh Selatan. The purpose of this study was to identify student responses in the development of learning imla' manqul with rabthil letters based on the Learning Together approach and the Scramble method at MTsN 4 Aceh Selatan. The research method used by researchers is a scientific research and development method using the One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design. To collect data, researchers use tests and questionnaires. The results of this study are learning imla' manqul with rabthil letters based on the Learning Together approach and the Scramble method is effective at MTsN 4 Aceh Selatan. Based on the results (t-test), which is 14.67, it is greater than the results (t-table), which is 2.06. Results of student respondents on the development of learning imla' manqul with rabthil letters based on the Learning Together approach and the Scramble method at MTsN 4 Aceh Selatan. with a score of 94%, with a very good.

Abstract

This article discusses the contribution of the Arabic language to the istinbāṭ in Islamic law of Acehnese scholars. The purpose of this journal is to identify the contribution of the Arabic language to the practice of Islamic law. This research is qualitative research using the descriptive analysis method by describing and identifying the influence and contribution of the Arabic language on Islamic legal istinbāṭ among Acehnese scholars. The results of the findings of this study indicate that the primary sources for performing Islamic legal istinbāṭ are the Qur’an, hadīṡ, ijmā‘, and qiyās, all of which are written in the Arabic language. Importantly, the Arabic language greatly contributes to legal istinbāṭ among Acehnese scholars, the more a cleric understands the Arabic language, the easier it is to practice law, and it is important for scholars to master the Arabic language and its literature, such as balaghah, ma‘āni, badi‘, bayān, majāz, nahwu, and sharf because to understand the Arabic language is the inseparable and correlated understanding between sciences which is an integral unit, so that if a scholar performs Islamic law istinbāṭ but does not understand the Arabic language sciences, the legal fatwa he issued will be doubted.

Abstract

Based on the research problem, which is the teaching of reading skills using the book "Al-Qira'ah al-Rasyidah" at MTs Insan Qur'ani, it is observed that the use of modern electronic instructional materials aligned with the advancements in digital technology to deliver content in accordance with the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0 era has not been incorporated. The purpose of this research is to investigate and develop the "Al-Qira'ah al-Rasyidah" instructional book using an Interactive E-Book to enhance the reading skills of female students and assess the effectiveness of its implementation. The research instruments encompass interviews, questionnaires, and tests based on Borg and Gall's theory. The research subjects consist of 28 students from class VII-C (grade 1 of MTs) at MTs Insan Qur'ani for the academic year 2022-2023. The findings reveal that the development of the "Al-Qira'ah al-Rasyidah" book for reading instruction using an Interactive E-Book is highly effective. In the final test conducted, the students achieved a total score of 2259 with an average score of 80.67, surpassing the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) for reading skills, which is set at >75.

Abstract

In the second language, speaking is a basic skill in learning language, because language it selft is speech, a person is not considered of mastered the language except by mastering the speaking. The students of Babun Najah not only found it difficult to speak the Arabic language but got bored as well. Thus, the student had a very low ability. It was caused by the disagreement between methods used by teachers and not using the interesting media according to students’ condition, it made the students feel bored, and lack attention to the subject; even some of them spoke during the teaching and learning process. So the learning process runs ineffectively. This resulted in the limited ability of students to speak Arabic. Based on this problem that has been studied by the researchers, we need for solution to overcome these problems, including: applying the Retelling Story method with the serial images in teaching Arabic language to reach the purposes of teaching speaking skills, in hopes of increasing student ability in speaking skills by combining these two variables. The purpose of this research is to know students’ responses to speaking skills and students' abilities in speaking the Arabic language using the retelling method and serial pictures in Babun Najah Banda Aceh boarding school. Quantitative supported by qualitative approach along with experimental method was used by the researcher. Purposive sampling was used to find the second graders of II-C as a control class and II-D as an experimental class that consisted of 23 students. The results are that students’ response toward the Retelling story Method with the pictures series is well, and the use of the Retelling story Method with the pictures series was effective and it gave a good impact on students of Babun Najah Banda Aceh boarding school, which the result from the t-test relate calculation is greater than t-table result, that is 1,69 < 1,93.

Abstract

Imla’ is the activity of changing sounds that can be understood into written symbols, but these letters are placed in the correct position of words, to correct the pronunciation and meaning desired. The title of this research is "The Implementation of Imla’ Mandhur through Mind Mapping in Increasing the Students’ Ability in Writing of Complete Sentences (The Experimental Study at Dayah Modern Darul Ulum) ". There are some reasons for the researcher to conduct this research. The low motivation of students. The students were sleepy when the teacher taught in the class. Some of them played with each other and did not pay attention to the lesson. When the teacher instructed them to write the Mufradat, they were unable to write properly and correctly, and some errors were found in writing the Mufradat. As for the difficulty of students in writing Arabic Mufradat, they have not mastered the rules and the way to connect Arabic letters. Besides they also lack vocabulary in writing. The problems that are dealt with by the students, it caused by the monotonous method. The purpose of this study is to increase the student’s ability in Arabic writing by using the Imla’ Mandhur Method through Mind Mapping. It aims to increase the student’s ability in writing. The population was all the students at Modern Darul Ulum, namely 933 students. The sample was 30 students in class X1c as the experimental group and 30 students in X1A as the control group. The researcher used a semi-experimental research design in conducting this research. Post-test and observation were used to collect the data. The result was found that the implementation of Imla’ Mandhur by using Mind Mapping Media can increase the student’s ability in Arabic writing. In this case, the average score for the experimental group was higher than the control group (87, 2 higher than 79.8). It means that the t-test was higher than (t table = 2, 04 from 5% from 1 %).

Abstract

Textbooks are the main media used by teachers and students in the instructional process. Therefore, the Qawa'id Nahwiyah learning book which is unstructured, general, and not equipped with various examples, will make students feel bored and do not understand about the qawaid nahwu. In this study, the researcher was developing an Arabic learning book for grade five in the 2013 curriculum by using audio-visual media. This research was designed to find out how to develop Arabic learning books for grade five in the 2013 curriculum using audio-visual media and how to determine the effectiveness of Arabic learning books for grade five in the 2013 curriculum by using audio-visual media. Furthermore, the Research and Development model by Borg and Gall was used in this study as a research method. Data collection consisted of interviews, questionnaires, and tests. In addition, the participants in this study were 280 students as population, and the students in all grades five consisting of 25 students were taken as samples. according to the results, the researcher found that book development has been carried out through 10 stages: Potential and problems, gathering information, product design, and design validation in this the value of the first expert was 78 % and the second expert was 77 % it showed that this bool agrees to be used learning Qawa'id Nahwiyah, design improvement, product testing, product revision, usage testing, product revision, and mass product manufacturing. meanwhile, the results of the effectiveness test using the t-test showed that the t count was greater than the t table, namely 4.1 based on a significance level of 5% 2.06 and 1% 2.80.
