Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to produce student activity sheets with a scientific approach to high school derivative materials and to determine the quality of student activity sheets from the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This type of research is development research. The development model used is the ADDIE development model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instrument used in this study was the Student Activity Sheet assessment sheet to measure the validity, the response questionnaire to the use of learning devices to measure practicality, and the learning outcome test questions to measure effectiveness. The results showed that the Student Activity Sheet developed was valid because the results of the assessment met the minimum classification "Good". Assessment of Student Activity Sheet gets an average score of 4.1 with the classification "Very Good". Based on the results of data analysis of teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires, the Student Activity Sheet is said to be practical because it meets the minimum classification "Good". The results of the teacher's questionnaire response to the use of the Student Activity Sheet got an average score of 3.25 with the classification "Good" and the student response questionnaire to the use of the Student Activity Sheet got an average score of 3.2 with the classification "good". Student Activity Sheets are said to be effective because the percentage of students' classical completeness reaches 84.62%.

The results of the analysis on each aspect indicate that hometown of students has a relationship with the aspect of job security (Sig = 0.036) and gender has a relationship with the aspect of work with children and adolescents (Sig = 0.042). In addition, gender and hometown of students have a relationship with aspects of enhancing social equality (Sig = 0.015; Sig = 0.021). The conclusion in this study is that the student's hometown has a relationship with their motivation to become a teacher as a career choice, while gender and family background have no relationship.

Abstract

Making lesson plans is still difficult for some teachers. The lesson plan has too many components, so it takes a long time to design one learning activity. Lesson plan one sheet is the solution to this problem. However, there are still teachers who do not understand how to make a one-sheet lesson plan that suits the needs of students.  The purpose of this service activity is to increase the teacher's understanding of the one-sheet lesson plan, so that the teacher can increase the effectiveness of his learning. Therefore, a workshop on making lesson plans was held for Islamic Elementary School teachers in Baki District, Sukoharjo, at Islamic Elementary School 4 Sukoharjo. Previously, a needs analysis was carried out for Islamic Elementary School teachers in Baki District, Sukoharjo. The survey results show that teachers have not consistently made lesson plans. Teachers also have not adapted them to student needs and are only used as administrative requirements in the learning process, so that lesson plans do not have much impact on helping teachers. However, the teacher knows that making lesson plans is the teacher's obligation and feels not burdened. After attending the workshop, the teacher began understanding the independent learning curriculum and designing a one-sheet lesson plan based on student needs. Islamic Elementary School teachers in Baki District, Sukoharjo, feel that a one-sheet lesson plan is more efficient than a regular lesson plan. Through the one-sheet Lesson plan, it is hoped that teachers will be more effective in preparing student learning activities and focus more on the learning process and evaluation to improve the quality of their learning.

Abstract

Science process skills are one of the 21st-century skills that are important to optimize to train students to be skilled in solving problems. However, facts in the field show that science process skills are still relatively low because teachers do not yet understand how to develop science process skills, and there is a lack of teaching materials based on a scientific approach to developing science process skills. This research aims to develop an integrated Project-based Learning (PjBL) module for black soybean ethnoscience that is valid, practical, and effective for improving students' science process skills. The model for product development is ADDIE. The product's effectiveness was tested using a quasi-experiment with research subjects consisting of 91 students (46 experimental and 45 control group students). The results of the module developed meet valid and practical criteria. The results of product effectiveness tested using quasi-experiments show that the integrated PjBL module of black soybean ethnoscience effectively improves science process skills. They are increasing students' science process skills due to using contextual phenomena in learning.
