Abstract

Waste is one of the problems faced by Bogor city, with waste production of 2,701 m3 per day. Waste management of Bogor city currently still has limited garbage facilities and infrastructure that make garbage not yet maximally resolved, including not having a regular schedule of truck distribution in serving sub-district waste. The aim of this research is to optimize the distribution of garbage transport trucks using genetic algorithms. The initial stage of the research carried out is the calculation of the waste generation projection based on population data from Badan Pusat Statistik with reference to SNI 19-3964-1994. Optimization with genetic algorithms consists of a selection process where this study uses the Roulette Wheel selection method, crossover, and mutation. The optimization process using genetic algorithms (GA) from the number of DLH trucks operating currently as many as 60 trucks in serving 490 polling stations (TPS) spread across six sub-districts in Bogor City, the distribution results are to West Bogor district 15 trucks, South Bogor district 13 trucks, East Bogor district 4 trucks, Central Bogor district 3 trucks, North Bogor 12 trucks, and 13 trucks for Tanah Sareal district. Optimization testing with GA showed that with 60 dump truck type trucks with a capacity of 7 m3 operating and transporting as many as 3 rit, the garbage transported is only about 46.64% of the total waste. To achieve the government's target regarding solid waste services of 80 until 85%, 110 trucks are needed. Keywords : genetic algorithm, optimization, scheduling

Abstract

Web server clusters require a reliable network management for increasing the quality of service (QoS). A load balancer system installed in a software-defined network (SDN) is one method that can improve the performance and availability of web server services. SDN is a dynamic and a programmable network management approach, and one protocol that supports it is OpenFlow. This research aims to design and analyse a model of a load balancer on OpenFlow networks, implementing a Weighted Round Robin (WRR) algorithm. The analysis process is conducted by measuring the value of a QoS web server performance parameters, such as response time, throughput, HTTP success, and loss connection. The results showed the WRR algorithm can be implemented for balancing a network system with dynamic resource allocation. The weight workload of each service can be obtained from the needs and existing network resources. The performance of a load balancer on an OpenFlow network is 57% better than in a traditional one for testing of response time conducted in a high connection. However, the throughput and HTTP success connection decreased by 2% and 10%, respectively, while HTTP loss connection increased by 49%.

Abstract

Kegiatan mempersiapkan slide presentasi oleh dosen pada setiap awal pertemuan kuliah akan mengurangi efektifitas waktu belajar. Penelitian sebelumnya memiliki kekurangan dalam penerapannya karena membutuhkan biaya yang besar untuk penyediaan komputer di setiap kelas dan peletakan berkas yang bersifat lokal. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasinya adalah dengan mengganti komputer desktop biasa dengan single board computer (SBC), Raspberry Pi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem otomasi presentasi kuliah dengan radio frequency identification (RFID) sebagai pembawa id untuk diteruskan ke Raspberry Pi yang akan mengirimkan query sesuai dengan id yang dibaca ke server database. Apabila id terdaftar dan sesuai jadwal yang ada, Raspberry Pi akan mengirimkan query ke server FTP untuk mengunduh slide presentasi yang relevan. Selanjutnya, Raspberry Pi akan menampilkannya melalui proyektor. Seluruh sistem bekerja dengan baik dalam empat skenario pengujian, yaitu: pengujian pembacaan tag, pengujian posisi tag, pengujian akurasi, dan pengujian waktu. Hasil pengujian waktu menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat menampilkan slide kuliah dalam waktu rata-rata 60.145 detik. Hal ini dapat menghemat waktu kegiatan perkuliahan sehingga berjalan lebih efektif. Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah populasi penduduk di Indonesia berdampak pada terbatasnya luas wilayah pertanian di Kota Bogor yang mengakibatkan ancaman produksi pertanian karena konversi lahan persawahan sebesar 88,12% menjadi perumahan dan kebun. Solusi sistem produksi pertanian dengan terbatasnya lahan salah satunya adalah hidroponik. Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan budidaya hidroponik dan memudahkan akses fasilitas belajar digital sebagai bagian penting dari rencana pemerintah Kota Bogor yaitu smart society diperlukan dukungan teknologi informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Knowledge Management System (KMS) budidaya hidroponik dengan mengadopsi metode Knowledge Management Life Cycle melalui identifikasi pengetahuan tacit maupun explicit dari komunitas hidroponik. Proses menangkap pengetahuan berorientasi pada seluruh proses budidaya sayuran hidroponik dengan menggunakan bibit yang siap tanam. Knowledge map digunakan untuk kodifikasi pengetahuan menghasilkan 34 pengetahuan explicit berupa media interaktif video maupun dokumen yang dapat digunakan oleh pengguna. Implementasi sistem menggunakan aplikasi berbasis Web dengan pendekatan object oriented yang sudah diuji oleh pakar dan semua fungsi berjalan dengan baik. Sistem ini memiliki fitur klasifikasi KMS yaitu knowledge capture, knowledge sharing, serta knowledge discovery. AbstractThe increasing number of populations in Indonesia has an impact on the limited area in Bogor, which has resulted in the threat of agricultural production because of the conversion of 88.12% of paddy fields to housing and gardens. A solution to agricultural production systems with limited land, one of which is hydroponics. Facilitate access to digital learning facilities as an essential part of the plan of the Bogor City government, namely smart society, information technology support is needed as a means of sharing hydroponic cultivation knowledge. Based on this, we developed a knowledge management system (KMS) adopting the Knowledge Management Life Cycle method by identifying tacit and explicit knowledge from the hydroponic community. The process of capturing knowledge is oriented to the whole process of hydroponic vegetable cultivation by using seeds that are ready for planting. Knowledge map is used for codification of knowledge that produces 34 explicit knowledge in the form of interactive media in the form of videos and documents that can be used by user. The output generated from this study is KMS was implemented using Web-based applications with an object-oriented approach that has been tested by experts with system functions is working and has KMS classification features, namely knowledge capture, knowledge sharing, and knowledge discovery.

Abstract

Implementation Distance Learning (DL) lecture at High School of Police Science namely Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kepolisian (STIK-PTIK) consisted of 32 Polisi Daerah (POLDA) in lecture Distance Learning (DL) throughout Indonesia. System bandwidth management using the method of simple queue, the simple queue is lacking both in bandwidth allocation. Optimization against computer networks in improving Quality of Service (QoS) using the method Per Connection Queue (PCQ) Queue Tree with four classes to model. Scale model of a priority bandwidth specifically as a model of optimization of computer networks with an average percentage of delay of 6.01%, packet loss decreased 0.26%, jitter of 13.56% and increased throughput became of 9.5%. The research is supported by the level of satisfaction by CSI towards PJJ / DL students, the methods of customer satisfaction index with the service quality (Servqual) questionnaire as against with levels of satisfaction the use of DL student participants with the result satisfaction levels of 74%. Abstract

Kelompok Sea Farming merupakan sebuah kelompok masyarakat yang menerapkan kegiatan marikultur. Kelompok Sea Farming sangat membutuhkan sistem yang dapat memantau lingkungan laut. Variabel lingkungan laut yang mereka butuhkan ialah suhu dan kelembaban udara, suhu air laut dan kadar oksigen terlarut. Pemantau lingkungan laut memiliki tugas untuk menentukan waktu pencucian ikan berdasarkan perubahan suhu, kelembaban udara, suhu air, dan kadar oksigen terlarut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang dan membangun arsitektur internet of things (IoT) menggunakan protokol the message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT) untuk memantau lingkungan laut pada keramba dengan menggunakan sensor yang terhubung dengan internet dan ditampilkan pada aplikasi secara waktu nyata. Sistem yang dibuat diharapkan dapat membantu nelayan dalam memantau dan menyimpan data dari perubahan lingkungan laut serta mendukung pengembangan aplikasi Marikultur Cerdas Kepulauan Seribu (K1000). Hasil Penelitian ini telah berhasil dalam merancang dan membangun sistem pemantauan lingkungan laut dengan arsitektur IoT, mulai dari pengambilan data dari sensor hingga pengiriman data masuk ke basis data dan menampilkannya sebagai grafik. Selain itu, keseluruhan pengujian kunci dan kebijakan IoT menunjukkan komunikasi data IoT menggunakan layanan AWS terjamin keamanannya. Dengan delay 0.005 detik, paket loss 0%, dan overhead sebesar 36.8%. Kata Kunci: internet of things, marikultur, MQTT, pemantauan, pencucian ikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini melakukan evaluasi tingkat kesiapan inftrastruktur penunjang local e-government Pelayanan Administrasi Terpadu Kecamatan (PATEN) di Kota Bogor dengan menggunakan framework COBIT 5. Pengukuran tingkat kesiapan infrastruktur pada penelitian ini menggunakan 5 proses COBIT. Proses tersebut adalah manajemen inovasi, manajemen ketersediaan dan kapasitas, manajemen aset, manajemen konfigurasi, dan mengelola keamanan layanan. Tiga proses pertama dilakukan di Kecamatan dan Diskominfo, dua proses terakhir hanya dilakukan Diskominfo. Dari masing-masing proses, rata-rata tingkat kematangan infrastruktur Kecamatan berada pada level 1 dan 1 Kecamatan berada pada level 2. Untuk Diskominfo proses manajemen inovasi, manajemen ketersediaan dan kapasitas dan manajemen konfigurasi berada pada level 3, manajemen aset berada pada level 2, mengelola keamanan layanan berada pada level 1.

Abstract

Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET) merupakan pengembangan jaringan wiresless yang melakukan komunikasi secara Inter Vehicle Communication (IVC). VANET memiliki mobilitas yang tinggi untuk setiap node nya sehingga jaringan komunikasi jenis ini adalah jaringan yang bersifat sementara dikarenakan node bergerak di lintasan dengan arah dan kecepatan yang dinamis. Dengan demikian, pengiriman paket data dari node sumber ke node tujuan menggunakan VANET memerlukan beberapa teknik komunikasi. Teknik terbaru komunikasi VANET saat ini adalah menggunakan SDN (Software Defined Network) yang berbasis geographic (SDGR) sebagai control plane dalam mengontrol komunikasi ad-hoc antar node. Dalam membentuk topologi jaringan komunikasi, SDGR mencari nilai jalur terpendek antar node dan kepadatan node yang tinggi. Tujuan utama penelitian ini melakukan analisis konsep protokol perutean (routing protocol) SDGR dan dilakukan pengembangannya dengan mempertimbangkan arah rute (SDGR+R). Pada SDGR+R, penambahan basis arah rute menggunakan multicast. Selanjutnya, dilakukan perbandingan kinerja antara SDGR dan SDGR+R. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan SDGR+R memiliki kinerja lebih baik daripada SDGR dalam hal latency sebesar 1.88% dan packet delivery ratio (PDR) sebesar 8.12%. Perancangan protokol perutean SDGR+R menambah ide pengembangan teknologi pada VANET untuk masa mendatang. AbstractVehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET) is a wireless network developed for communication on Inter-Vehicle Communication (IVC). Each node in a VANET has high mobility so that this type of communication network is a temporary network because the node moves on the track with dynamic direction and speed. Thus, sending data packets from source node to destination node using VANET requires some communication techniques. The latest technology for VANET communication is to use SDN-based geographic-based SDN (SDGR) as a control plane in controlling Ad-hoc communication between nodes. In forming the communication network topology, SDGR looks for the shortest path value between nodes and high node density. The main objective of this research is to analyze the concept of SDGR routing protocol and to develop it, considering the direction of the route (SDGR+R). In SDGR + R, the addition of route base directions uses multicast. Next, we compare the performance between SDGR and SDGR+R. Simulation results show SDGR+R has better performance than SDGR in terms of latency of 1.88% and packet delivery ratio of 8.12%. The design of the SDGR+R routing protocol gives to the idea of technology development on VANET in the future.

Abstract

The technical problems faced in e-government implemented by the Ministry of Religion of Indonesia since 2015 are minimal bandwidth requirements to provide information services and behavior of users who access entertainment sites. When peak hours occur, the congested network often occurs which becomes a significant bottleneck. This study aims to implement bandwidth management using the fractional knapsack problem method by limiting access to entertainment services. The QoS parameters used in this management are throughput, delay, and jitter. The method was tested using a paired t-test using throughput, jitter, and delay test parameters by comparing test parameters before and after bandwidth management applied. The significance value produced is between 75-85%. The method used can control the amount of traffic for each service, but on the other, hand the delay and jitter are still high. It is necessary to add additional free space to each service that can be used when needed to reduce the delay and jitter.

Abstract

Introduction. This study aims to develop prototype of mobile library application as recommendation model to be applied in college libraries to provide easiness and velocity of information access for users by smartphone. This study took case in Trisakti School of Management Library that uses SLiMS software as its library application.Data Collection Method. This research uses software engineering approach with protyping adopted from Laudon (2016), consist of indentify basic requirements, develop working prototype, use the prototype, revise and enchance the prototype.Analysis Data. Software engineering uses Android platform.Results and Discussions. The study results show that there are six main basic requirements of mobile library applications that can be implemented in TSM Library, including online catalog, library account, renew, borrow, reserve, and journal. By using prototype, users can perform 8 tasks, include login, view personal library account, renew, searching of books, borrow book, reserve book, cancel of reserve, and searching of journals. The final testing results show that all functions of prototype run well without error.Conclusions. This research has succeeded in developing prototype of mobile library application which can be used as a model that is suitable to be applied in college libraries, especially TSM Library.
