Abstract

Arabic Language Education study program students at IAIN Palangka Raya are prospective Arabic teachers who are prepared to have foreign language competence, but students still experience difficulties for various reasons. It makes all PBA Education study program lecturers simultaneously implement several activities in selected subjects to build literacy in reading books in foreign languages, both Arabic and English. This research aims to describe the process carried out by lecturers in building reading literacy of foreign language books, either Arabic or English, on PBA students in IAIN Palangka Raya. This research used the descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected from the interview, observation, and documentation, then further analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and verification, and validated with the triangulation method. The initial result of this research indicated that the lecturers do various activities to build students’ reading literacy, those are: introducing reading references in Arabic and English language, explaining the advantages of reading these references to the students, giving insight into reading steps, assigning students to review the references, and assisting students in composing and publishing scientific papers. This research suggests writing literacy for students and further research on different subjects and locations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementing PJOK learning in limited face-to-face learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in class V MIN 2 Palangka Raya City. This type of research is qualitative with case studies. Data collection techniques by observation and interviews. Meanwhile, data analysis uses descriptive data analysis. The results of this study show that:1) planning for sports and health physical education learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in MIN 2 Palangka Raya City: Teachers plan the PJOK class V learning program, develop the Annual Program, carry out Semester Program activities, carry out learning plans in the learning syllabus, distribute effective weeks.2) Implementation of Sports and Health Physical Education learning in MIN 2 Palangka Raya City, namely: development of the Annual Program into the Learning Implementation Plan, carrying out Semester Program activities, implementation of learning plans in the learning syllabus, online teaching, and learning process activities teachers explain teaching materials, apply learning methods. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran PJOK pada PTM terbatas pada masa pandemi covid-19 di kelas V MIN 2 Kota Palangka Raya. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Tehnik pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan wawancara. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menungjukkan, bahwa: 1) perencanaan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan masa pandemi Covid-19 Di MIN 2 Kota Palangka Raya: Guru merencanakan program pembelajaran PJOK kelas V, pengembangan Program Tahunan, melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan Program Semester, melaksanakan rencana pembelajaran dalam silabus pembelajaran, pendistrisbusian minggu efektif. 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan di MIN 2 Kota Palangka Raya, yaitu: pengembangan Program Tahunan ke dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan Program Semester, melaksanakan rencana pembelajaran dalam silabus pembelajaran, dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar secara daring guru menjelaskan materi ajar, menerapkan metode pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of learning Arabic in class I madrasah ibtidayyah students at the integrated madrasah ibtidayyah "Blessing". This study uses qualitative research that discusses the problems of learning Arabic at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. As for the type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the students of the integrated Madrasah Ibtidaiyah "Blessing" totaling 36 people. In this study, data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. As for the data analysis technique used, namely the inductive qualitative analysis method, which was carried out before entering the field, during the field and after finishing in the field. The results of this study indicate that; The problems of Arabic learning faced by first grade students at the integrated Madrasah Ibtidayyah "Blessings" are: (1) Students lack the will to learn Arabic, (2) Environmental backgrounds that do not support the progress of Arabic learning achievement, (3) Students lack confidence in Arabic (4) students do not know the hijaiyyah letters (5) students do not understand Arabic reading.
