Abstract

Ideologi dan konstitusi Indonesia telah menjelaskan, mengatur secara jelas dan tegas hak setiap warga negara untuk memilih untuk menganut kepercayaan maupun agama serta hak atas persamaan dan kesetaraan namun jaminan perlindungan untuk menganut suatu kepercayaan atau keyakinan dan hak untuk diperlakukan setara sesuai amanat Pancasila dan UUD 1945 pada tataran implementasinya masih belum dirasakan oleh penghayat kepercayaan. Berdasarkan analisis permasalahan, bahwa efektif atau tidaknya perlindungan hukum hak konstitusional penghayat kepercayaan parmalim pra dan pasca Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi RI No. 97/PUU-XIV/2016 ditentukan oleh faktor isi dari norma/aturan hukumnya yang mengatur perihal pengosongan kolom agama pada data kependudukan para penganut kepercayaan secara umum dan parmalim merupakan salah satu penganut kepercayaan. Lalu ada faktor penegak hukumnya, yaitu para ASN yang menerapkan UU Adminduk, serta faktor sarana berkaitan dengan SIAK yang hanya mencantumkan 6 agama resmi yang diakui negara, serta terakhir aspek masyarakat dan kebudayaan, yaitu adanya sikap dari sebagian masyarakat beragama resmi dan diakui negara yang tidak mengakui para penganut kepercayaan parmalim dan aliran-aliran kepercayaan lainnya di Indonesia.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to know an analysis on Novel “ The Zahir” By Paulo Coelho about plots, the main characters, the settings, the purpose, the style and tone, the symbols, the structural and sense devices, and the theme. This research was a descriptive qualitative design that would do library research because it attempted to find out and to explain the literary elements of novel “The Zahir” by Paulo Coelho (2005) based on theory of X.J. Kennedy (1991) and L.G. Alexander (1979). The method of collecting the data in qualitative research used Triangulation. All the data was analyzed based on the related theories. The novel was about a free man Paulo Coelho with full of obsession on looking his Zahir Esther because of his mistakes in past time. In the beginning, the story told about Esther struggled to change Paulo Coelho’s freedom by making him to be famous writer. The middle part told about Paulo was left by his wife. The ending part told about his efforts to look for her wife until he could find Esther in Kazakhstan. The purpose of the novel was to tell us that we had to appreciate our beloved person.

Abstract

New Student Admission Is One Process in Higher Education which aims to filter out prospective students who are selected according to the criteria determined by the Higher Education to become their students. In general, the process of admitting new students is carried out through the stages of registration, selection tests, and student admissions. Every year, Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia conducts the Entrance Examination for ± 300 people, which is done manually so it takes longer time to print the questions, check the results of the exam and report the results of the exam. Computer Based Test (CBT) by utilizing the Moodle CMS is one of the evaluation strategies used to determine the capacity and competence of prospective new students more quickly and more efficiently. Utilizing this application simplifies the work of the Exam Committee so that it is more productive and professional in managing Administration. This application also requires prospective students to be accustomed to using the application and must be more mature in carrying out the examination because it does not allow working with others because the questions and answer choices appear randomly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the price and service quality affect consumer purchasing decisions GEPREK BENSU Pematangsiantar and analyze the most dominant factors in influencing consumer purchasing decisions GEPREK BENSU Pematangsiantar. The data collection methods used in this research are questionnaires, interviews and observations. The population in this study was 40 people and the number of samples in this study was 40 people because the sampling in this study used the census method. The data analysis technique used was the instrument test, namely the validity test and the reliability test, the classic assumption test, namely the normality test and the hypothesis test, namely multiple linear regression, the correlation coefficient, the determination coefficient, the partial test (t-test) and simultaneous test (f test). The results showed that price and service quality had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on statistical data analysis, the indicators in this study are valid and the variables are reliable. The author's suggestion is to improve consumer purchasing decisions can be done by way of competitive pricing, increasing product diversity, and improving the quality of service. GEPREK BENSU Pematangsiantar needs to maintain the elements that have been assessed as good (price and quality of service) by customers and need to fix things that are still considered lacking.

Abstract

One of the spearheads of the local government system is the village government which consists of village officials that work together and touch each other and deal directly with the community. This research was conducted in the village of Parsaoran Sibisa, Ajibata District, Toba Samosir Regency. The background of this research is that the village of Parsaoran Sibisa is one of the priority areas for research where there are differences in productivity of coffee yields in the villages of Parsaoran Sibisa and Motung where the coffee yields of Motung Village are much better and the villagers are able to process coffee and marketing coffee yields well while the village of Parsaoran Sibisa has not been able to even though the two villages are still one district. This study aims to determine and analyze the role of the Village Apparatus in an effort to increase the income of coffee farmers who are approximately 75% of the total population of Parsaoran Sibisa village are farmers coffee as well as knowing the factors that drive and hinder village officials in empowering the community in the village of Parsaoran Sibisa, Ajibata District, Toba Samosir Regency.

Abstract

Tujuan Pendidikan nasional adalah untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Kecerdasan dibutuhkan oleh setiap orang untuk menghadapi zaman yang telah memasuki era globalisasi karena tanpa kita sadari ilmu pengetahuan sudah semakin berkembang dari masa ke masa. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan ini mendukung untuk terciptanya teknologi yang perkembangannya sangat pesat Pendidikan di era globalisasi dapat diartikan sebagai integrasi pendidikan nasional ke dalam dunia pendidikan. Di era globalisasi, kemajuan bangsa sangat ditentukan oleh pemanfaatan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Teknologi yang berkembang saat ini telah memasuki era digital, dimana segala bidang telah memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mempermudah pekerjaan, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Teknologi pendidikan adalah suatu sistem yang digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran agar tercapai hasil yang diinginkan. Peran teknologi dalam pendidikan diimplementasikan dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran, perangkat administrasi, dan sumber belajar. Dampak positif penerapan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan adalah lebih efisien dari segi waktu, biaya, logistik dan masalah kelembagaan lainnya, sedangkan dampak negatifnya adalah teknologi dapat mengubah kehidupan masyarakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to solve students' problems in writing narrative text, such as they lack vocabulary and they are difficult in certain generic structures. Students are not interested in Writing skills. Students still have difficulty expressing their ideas and they are bored in writing. Students' writing skills, especially narrative texts, are still low. This research is an experimental research. The purpose of this study was to find out which is more significant between the influence of Free Writing Techniques on Students' Writing Ability in writing narrative texts. Teaching writing narrative texts using free writing techniques or teaching writing narrative texts using conventional methods. The research design used in this study was a quasi-experimental research. The score data was taken from class XI students of SMA N. 5 Pematangsiantar. Which consists of 150 students who were selected by taking classes XI IA3 and XI IA4 as samples. In this study, the scores for writing narrative texts in the control group and the experimental group were used as data collection. There are two data used in this study. Namely: pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed using the t-test formula. After analyzing the data, the results showed that the t-test was 2.72 and t-table = 2.003. The results showed that the t-test value was higher than the t-table t-test > t-table (2.72 > 2.003). It can be concluded that the application of Free Writing Techniques has a significant effect on Students' Ability in Writing Narrative Texts.

Abstract

Merujuk pada konstitusi Indonesia, Indonesia adalah negara hukum. Sebagai konsekuensinya, maka aturan atau norma hukum harus dipatuhi dan ditegakkan oleh dan untuk seluruh warga negara atau masyarakat tanpa terkecuali dari orang dewasa hingga anak-anak. Namun fakta yang dapat dilihat adalah pada masa saat ini bahwa banyak terjadi permasalahan terkait menurunnya moralitas (dekadensi moral) dari para kawula muda hingga bahkan anak-anak yang berujung pada terjadinya pelanggaran hukum. Hal ini juga terlihat di kota Pematang Siantar, khususnya di sekolah sasaran pelaksanaan tri dharma Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yaitu SD Swasta HKI 3 Pematangsiantar yaitu terjadinya dekadensi moral pada anak-anak yang dapat dilihat dari beberapa siswanya masih ada yang sulit untuk diatur ketika berada di lingkungan sekolah sebagai efek rasa hormat pada guru menurun, ada yang berkelahi, ada yang melakukan tindakan perundungan, serta sudah ada siswa yang terpapar pornografi. Solusi atas permasalahan yang ditemui adalah dengan melakukan pengenalan hingga penguatan profil pelajar pancasila yang telah dituangkan dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nomor 22 Tahun 2020 tentang Rencana Strategis Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Tahun 2020-2024. Pengenalan hingga penguatan tersebut bermanfaat agar para siswa memahami dan mulai menumbuhkan sikap atau karakter yang patuh dan sadar hukum, dan hal ini berkontribusi untuk menghasilkan generasi penerus yang berkarakter baik. Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan dengan durasi waktu 1 hari, pada hari rabu, tanggal 30 November 2022 dengan metode ceramah diselingi diskusi, dilanjutkan dengan simulasi role playing sebagai contoh dari penjelasan materi ceramah, dan diakhiri dengan kuis berhadiah alat tulis bagi siswa yang dapat menjawab pertanyaan seputar materi ceramah dengan baik dan benar.

Abstract

This research is about sociolinguistics specified on the difference between male and female language style of students grade VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. This research focuses on the problems about: (1) Whatlanguage style are used by male students of grade VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar (2) What language style are used by female students of grade VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar (3) What are the differences between male and female students language style at grade VIII in SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. To answer the problems of this research, the writer uses related theory such as, Chaika (1982), Broderick (1976), Keraf (1984), Leech (2006), Maleong (2007). This research applies descriptive qualitative research, aimed at describing language style of eight grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. The subject of this research are 30 students, consists of 14 male students and 16 female students. The data was collected by observation and recording. The method covers research design, the subject, the object, the instrument, the technique of collecting data and the technique of analyzing data. The result of this research shows that (1) The writer found two language styles used by male students. (2) The writer found three language styles used by female students. (3) The difference language style between male and female students stated that intimate style used by female students but male students didn’t use intimate language style. Finally, from the result of the data analysis, the writer found that every student has different language style. Male and female students of SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar used three types of language style from five language style. Formal and casual style used by male students while, formal, casual and intimate style used by female students.

Abstract

Contextually, one of the essences of the ideology and constitution of Indonesia is the existence of democracy within the state system. Then in its development in Indonesia understand the system of constitutional democracy and understand the understanding of constitutionalism in the state. However, at this time constitutional democracy and the notion of constitutionalism adopted by Indonesia are stated by many parties to have not run well, and have problems. Based on the results of the LP3ES survey, democracy in Indonesia is declared to be in decline, with a total of 31 (thirty one) problems in the implementation of democracy in Indonesia, some of which are money politics in general elections, populism and identity politics, political corruption. The research method used in answering the problems in this scientific writing is a Descriptive Qualitative Method with a Phenomenological Research Approach. The technique of collecting data in the preparation of this article is carried out by searching and various data from online search engines in the form of publications of scientific journals, government circulars, newspapers, and other website services that actively discuss topics related to Citizenship Education by realizing constitutional democracy and constitutionalism. in Indonesia. the urgency of civic education to build constitutional democracy and constitutionalism because: first, there is an increasing tendency to be politically illiterate, and citizens do not know how democracy and its institutions work. Second, political apathy which has also increased with the indicator that few citizens are involved in political activities. In this case civics education can play a role as a seed for the constitution of democracy and constitutionalism
