Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan analisis kelayakan usaha budidaya ikan nila dalam keramba jaring apung di Danau Limboto kawasan Kota Gorontalo. Desain penelitian ini bersifat ex post facto yaitu penelitian yang tidak memanipulasi variabel bebas, desain ini bersifat eksplorasi dan deskripsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa rata-rata modal usaha budidaya ikan nila sebesar Rp. 22.395.913,00 pertahun dan penerimaan usaha rata-rata sebesar Rp. 33.264. 000,00 pertahun dengan rata-rata keuntungan sebesar Rp 10.868.087,00 pertahun, BEP Produksi rata-rata 678 kg pertahun dan BEP Harga Produksi perkilogram rata-rata Rp 22.218,00 pertahun. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa usaha budidaya tersebut layak untuk dijalankan karena usaha tersebut bernilai positif dengan nilai R/c Ratio 1,4 dan nilai Payback Period (PBP) 2,21 tahun. The purpose of this study was to conduct a feasibility analysis of the cultivation of tilapia in floating net cages in Lake Limboto, Gorontalo City area. The design of this study is ex post facto that is research that does not manipulate independent variables, this design is exploratory and description. This research uses survey method. The results of the study aimed that the average capital of tilapia fish farming business was Rp. 22,395,913.00 per year and average business revenue of Rp. 33,264. 000.00 per year with an average profit of IDR 10,868,087.00 per year, BEP Production an average of 678 kg per year and BEP Production Price per kilogram is an average of IDR 22,218.00 per year. This shows that the cultivation business is feasible to run because the business is positive with a R / c Ratio of 1.4 and a Payback Period (PBP) of 2.21 years. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of water hyacinth flour (Eichornia crassipes) on the manufacture of artificial feed on the survival and growth of sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) seeds. This study used an experimental method with three treatments and three replications. The testing method is by feeding a number of different doses. The results showed that treatment A had the highest absolute length and weight growth of 1.7 cm and 0.5925g, followed by treatment B of 1.4 cm and 0.4827 g, and the lowest was indicated by treatment C of 1.2 cm and 0.3217 g. While the highest daily length and weight growth in treatment A were 0.14 cm and 0.049 g, treatment B was 0.12 cm and 0.036 g and C were 0.11 cm and 0.027 g. Survival of catfish seeds in all treatments during the study was 100%. Keywords: catfish; sangkuriang; seeds; feed; water hyacinth.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan buatan, cacing sutra (Tubifex sp.), dan kombinasi keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan patin siam (Pangasius hypophthalmus). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan. Analisis terhadap data pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan buatan, cacing sutra (Tubifex sp.) dan kombinasi keduanya berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan patin siam. Perlakuan A (100% Tubifex sp.) memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik menghasilkan pertambahan panjang dan berat tertinggi sebesar 1,89 cm dan 0,74 gr. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of artificial feeding and silk worms (Tubifex sp.), and the combination of both on the growth and survival of Siamese catfish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) seeds. This research is using experimental method. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments. Analysis of growth and survival data uses descriptive analysis and linear regression. The analysis showed that the provision of artificial feed and silk worms (Tubifex sp.) and the combination of both had a positive effect on the growth and survival. Treatment A (100% Tubifex sp.) Gave the best growth resulting in the highest length and weight increase of 1.89 cm and 0.74 gr. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan waktu awal mulai kejutan suhu panas (Heat Shock) terhadap daya tetas telur dan kelulusan hidupan (Survival Rate) benih ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga kali pengulangan pada setiap kelompok uji. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai daya tetas telur mas (Cyprinus carpio), perlakuan A (kontrol) yaitu 91 %, perlakuan B (2,5 menit setelah fertilisasi) yaitu 81.67 %, perlakuan C (5,0 menit setelah fertilisasi) yaitu 69.33 % dan perlakuan D (7,5 menit setelah fertilisasi) yaitu 61.67 %, dan untuk kelulusan hidupan (Survival Rate) benih ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio), perlakuan A (kontrol) yaitu 48.327%, perlakuan B (2,5 menit setelah fertilisasi) yaitu 77.97 %, perlakuan C (5,0 menit setelah fertilisasi) yaitu 70.698 % dan perlakuan D (7,5 menit setelah fertilisasi) yaitu 55.702 %. Hasil analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) menunjukan bahwa perlakuan dengan selang waktu awal mulai kejutan suhu panas yang berbeda terhadap daya tetas dan kelulusan hidupan (Survival Rate) benih ikan mas (Cyprinus carpio) memberikan pengaruh yang sangat nyata terhadap setiap perlakuan. This study aims to determine the effect of the initial time difference heat shock to the hatchability of eggs and the survival rate of carp (Cyprinus carpio) seeds. The research design used was complete randomized design method (CRD) with three repetitions in each test group. The results showed that the value of hatching eggs by treatment A (control) was 91%, treatment B (2.5 minutes after fertilization) is 81.67%, treatment C (5.0 minutes after fertilization) is 69.33% and treatment D (7.5 minutes after fertilization) is 61.67%, and for Survival Rate) of carp seeds, treatment A (control) that is 48,327%, treatment B (2.5 minutes after fertilization) is 77.97%, treatment C (5.0 minutes after fertilization) is 70,698% and treatment D (7.5 minutes after fertilization) is 55,702%. The results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the initial time difference heat shock to hatchability and survival rate of carp seeds had a very real effect on each treatment. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis perendaman pupuk formula alam hijau (FAH) yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan alga Kappaphycus alvarezii. Benih alga Kappaphycus alvarezii yang digunakan diperoleh dari nelayan pembudidaya. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan masing - masing dengan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan A perendaman dengan dosis 0 ml, Perlakuan B perendaman dengan dosis 10,0 ml, Perlakuan C perendaman dengan dosis 12,5 ml dan Perlakuan D perendaman dengan dosis 25 ml. Wadah yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah ember plastik yang dilengkapi dengan aerasi. Pemberian pupuk FAH dilakukan sesuai perlakuan dengan lama perendaman selama 12 jam dan dilakukan pembalikan alga setiap 4-5 jam sekali. Pemeliharaan biota uji dilakukan selama 45 hari. Pengukuran berat alga dilakukan setiap tiga hari sekali. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata (p > 0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan alga. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa ternyata perendaman dengan mengunakan pupuk FAH selama 12 jam tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan Alga K. alvarezii. Kualitas air pemeliharaan masih dalam batas toleransi untuk usaha budidaya rumput laut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan kantong terhadap pertumbuhan Kappaphycus alvarezii dengan metode Long line di Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara. Penelitian dirancang menggunakan 2 perlakuan, dimana perlakuan A (menggunakan kantong alga laut) dan perlakuan B (tidak menggunakan kantong alga laut) dengan berat awal 50 gram. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui perbedaan antar perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kantong alga laut memberikan hasil yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan Kappaphycus alvarezii. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of bags on the growth of Kappaphycus alvarezii with the Long line method in North Gorontalo District. The study was designed using 2 treatments, where treatment A (using a marine algae bag) and treatment B (not using a marine algae bag) with an initial weight of 50 grams. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis to determine differences between treatments. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perendaman larutan daun pepaya (Carica papaya) dengan dosis yang berbeda terhadap sintasan ikan nila yang terinfeksi parasit Trichodina sp. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian perendaman larutan daun pepaya dengan dosis yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadap sintasan dan intensitas Trichodina sp. ikan nila. Pada dosis 20 mg/liter memberikan hasil sintasan terbaik dengan persentasi sebesar 66,67 %. Hasil perhitungan jumlah intensitas Trichodina sp. adalah pada perlakuan A (10 gram/liter) 53 individu/ekor, perlakuan B (15 gram/liter) 2 individu/ekor, perlakuan C (20 gram/liter) merupakan intensitas terendah yaitu 5 individu/ekor dan pada perlakuan D (kontrol 145 individu/ekor. Hasil pengukuran kualitas air masih berada pada kisaran yang dapat ditolerir untuk kegiatan pertumbuhan ikan nila yaitu suhu 27,17-27,35 0C, kadar pH yaitu 7,13-7,33 dan untuk kandungan oksigen terlarut yaitu pada kisaran 4,26-4,62 mg/l. This study aims to determine the effect of immersion in a solution of papaya leaves (Carica papaya) with different doses to the survival of tilapia infected with the parasite Trichodina sp. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that immersion in papaya leaf solution with different doses affected the survival tilapia and intensity of Trichodina sp.. At a dose of 20 mg/liter gives the best survival rate with a percentage of 66.67%. The results of the calculation of the amount of intensity of Trichodina sp. is in treatment A (10 grams / liter) 53 individuals / head, treatment B (15 grams / liter) 2 individuals / head, treatment C (20 grams / liter) is the lowest intensity i.e. 5 individuals / head and in treatment D (control 145 individuals / tail. The results of water quality measurements are still within the range that can be tolerated for tilapia growth activities that are temperatures 27.17 - 27.35 0C, pH levels are 7.13 - 7.33 and for dissolved oxygen content which is in the range of 4,26 - 4.62 mg / l. Abstract

Feed is one main factor in aquaculture activities which influences the quantity and quality of aquaculture commodities. Feed can also increase the cultivated fish survivability to prevent from fish diseases. Binahong leaf powder is one material added in the fish feed making which contains active compounds functioning as antibacterial agent. This study did aim at examining the influence of Binahong leaf powder addition to feed on the prevalence and survival rate of Red Tilapia seeds infected by Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria. This research employed an experimental method using a randomized complete design with four treatments. Each treatment consisted of different Binahong leaf powder dosage used as the material in feed making with treatment A (5%), treatment B (7%), treatment C (9%), and treatment D (control). The test animals were ± 5 cm red tilapia seeds infected by Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria. Feeding was given twice, in the morning and evening with the feeding rate of 10% per day of the total body weight. The research results showed that the addition of Binahong leaf powder did not influence the prevalence and survival rate of red tilapia seeds infected by Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria. Keywords: Aeromonas hydrophila, Bacteria, Binahong, Disease, Feed

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan cacing sutera (Tubifex sp.) dengan dosis berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan black molly (Poecilia sphenops). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di balai benih ikan kota Gorontalo selama 35 hari pada bulan November - Januari 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil analisis varian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pakan cacing sutera berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan black molly dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelangsungan hidup benih ikan black molly. Perlakuan B (10% Tubifex sp.) memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik dengan pertumbuhan mutlak sebesar 0,32 gram dan kelangsungan hidup sebesar 84,44%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of feeding silk worm (Tubifex sp.) at different doses on the growth and survival of black molly fish (Poecilia sphenops) seeds. This research was conducted at the Gorontalo City Fish Seed Hall for 35 days in November - January 2016. This study used an experimental method. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and repeated 3 times. The results of the analysis of variance showed that silk worm feeding significantly affected the growth of black molly fish seeds and significantly affected the survival of black molly fish seeds. Treatment B (10% Tubifex sp.) Gave the best growth with absolute growth of 0.32 grams and survival of 84.44%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelepasan karpospora alga Gracilaria salicornia dengan kondisi salinitas yang berbeda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan dan masing-masing dengan tiga ulangan. Penelitian ini berlangsung sejak Januari hingga Desember 2012 di Laboratorium Botani, Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi, Fakultas MIPA, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nyata (p 0,01) antara Perlakuan A (salinitas 23), Perlakuan B (salinitas 25) dan Perlakuan C (salinitas 27). Pengujian lebih lanjut menggunakan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) untuk melihat pengaruh dari masing-masing perlakuan yang menunjukan bahwa Perlakuan A berbeda nyata dengan Perlakuan B dan berbeda nyata pula dengan Perlakuan C.
