Abstract

AbstractPurpose - This study is aimed to examine the effect of propensity to switch, perceived ease of use, and perceived risk on brand loyalty and switching behavior.Design/methodology/approach - Utilizing purposive random sampling, a number of 100 customers of 36 brands of 12 product categories were asked to fill in the questionnaire as primary survey data. To analyze the measurement model, structural model, and the good fit model, this study made use of the structural equation model.Findings - Propensity to switch significantly positive affects brand loyalty and switching behavior; whereas perceived of ease of use significantly positive affects brand loyalty and significantly negative affects switching behavior; and perceived risk significantly negative affects brand loyalty and significantly positive affects switching behaviorResearch limitation - A more numbers of respondents and more variations of respondents’ background should be considered for future study. A propensity to be a loyal customer variable should also be added in the model.Originality/value - This study takes a look at two different points of views of customer behaviors, those are customers who remain to stay with one brand and those are who always seek for something new and keep switching.

Abstract

Niat Membeli merupakan tahapan dimana konsumen melakukan pengevaluasian terhadap informansi yang diterima. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan sampel dalam studi ini yaitu pelanggan Lazada sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner skala likert. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu dengan sobel test untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan melalui variabel mediasi yang memiliki kekuatan signifikan memediator dalam hubungan tersebut. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa (1) Promosi Penjualan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Sikap Merek, (2) variabel Kepuasan Konsumen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Sikap Merek, (3) variabel Sikap merek tidak berpengaruh positif secara signifikan terhadap variabel Niat Beli, (4) variabel Promosi penjualan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Niat Beli. (5) variabel Kepuasan Konsumen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel Niat Beli. (6) variabel Promosi penjualan terhadap Niat Beli dengan Sikap Merek sebagai variabel intervening ditolak. (7) variable kepuasan konsumen terhadap Niat Beli dengan sikap merek sebagai variabel intervening ditolak.

Abstract

This research was conducted with in order to identify and analyze the factors that influence loyalty Tokopedia users of online shopping services. With several related variables in this research are hedonic shopping value, web informativeness, web entertainmnet, e-satisfaction, and e-loyalty as dependent variables. The population of this research is tokopedia users, with a sample of 100 tokopedia users. Data collection was done by using a questionnaire method. The test result in this study are that hedonic shopping value has positive effect on e-satisfation, wen informativeness and web entertainmnet have a positive effect on e-satisfaction, and E-Satisfaction has positive effect on E-Loyalty. Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of brand involvement, brand communication, and brand interactivity on brand engagement J.CO Indonesia Instagram. The population of this study is J.CO Donuts & Coffee customers, and the sample is J.CO Donuts & Coffee customers that follow company official Instagram. Using purposive sampling technique, a total of 120 respondents is asked to fill the questionaire as main survey data sources. The results show that partially Brand Involvement has a positive and significant effect on Social Media Brand Engagement, Brand Communication has a positive and significant effect on Social Media Brand Engagement, and Brand Interactivity has a positive and significant effect on on Social Media Brand Engagement, and simultaneously Brand Involvement, Brand Communication, and Brand Interactivity have a positive and significant effect on Social Media Brand Engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the extent of the influence of Perceived Value, Perceived Environmental Knowledge Attitudes towards Green Products on Green Purchase Intentions of Ades Mineral Water Consumers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study uses four variables, namely Perceived Value, Perceived Environmental Knowledge, Attitude towards Green Products as the independent variable and Green Purchase Intention as the dependent variable. The population that is taken in this study are those who buy Ades mineral water products at least once. The sampling method used Accidental Sampling and data collection using a questionnaire. The results showed that partially perceived value had a positive and significant effect on Green Purchase Intention, Perceived Environmental Knowledge did not have a positive and significant effect on Green Purchase Intention, and Attitudes towards Green Products had a positive and significant effect on Green Purchase Intention.

Abstract

This study illustrates that Gojek customer loyalty in Yogyakarta remains significant even though it is still in tight business competition. This means that Gojek management must maintain and increase customer loyalty under any circumstances. In addition, the results of this study provide insights for academics in studying and developing research in the field of marketing, especially on the topic of customer loyalty. Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) whether sosial value has a positive effect on purchase intention, (2) to determine whether functional value has a positive effect on purchase intention, (3) to determine whether emotional value has a positive effect on purchase intention, (4) to determine whether whether satisfaction has a positive effect on purchase intentions, (5) to find out whether character identification has a positive effect on bell intentions. This type of research includes quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were all players or users of Massively Multiplayer Sosializer Online Games (MMOSG), Audition Ayodance). The method used in the selection of the sample is purposive sampling method and determine the sample based on the criteria set by the researcher. There were 190 questionnaires distributed which could be processed. The data is then tested for data quality by using the validity test, reliability test. After testing the quality of the data, it is then tested using the classical multiple regression assumption test. The classical assumption test used consisted of normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. Then the data were analyzed using the coefficient of determination test, partial test (t) and simultaneous test (f). The results of this study indicate that there is a negative and insignificant effect of Sosial Value on Purchase Intention (1) there is a positive and significant influence of Functional Value on Purchase Intention (2) there is a positive influence of Emotional Value on Purchase Intention (3) there is a negative and insignificant effect of Satisfaction on Purchase Intention (4) and there is a positive and significant effect of Character Identification on Purchase Intention (5) the players or users of Massively Multiplayer Sosializer Online Games (MMOSG), Audition Ayodance.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an integrative framework that investigates the effect of brand experience on loyalty that is mediated by brand personality and satisfaction in the context of an Indonesia’s private university branding. This study applies an explanatory quantitative research method using purposive random sampling as the sampling technique. The data is collected from a total of 385 students of a private university in Yogyakarta using questionnaires. A rigorous analysis of the structural equation model is used to analyze and interpret the data. The result shows that brand experience has no direct effect on brand loyalty, however it has indirect on satisfaction and simultaneously through brand personality and satisfaction. This means that students of a private university perceived that satisfaction is the most important aspect on building loyalty. This study implies that private universities should improve students’ satisfaction to gain loyalty, and consider university brand experience and brand personality in order to strengthen students’ satisfaction toward the university. Building loyalty is important because it can lessen the vulnerability of university in facing competition, not only with local but also with overseas universities or branch of the world's best university to come to Indonesia in the future.

Abstract

Perubahan iklim global menimbulkan kerusakan mendasar bagi lingkungan karena eksploitasi manusia yang berlebihan dan tidak diimbangi dengan pemeliharaan lingkungan. Masalah ini sangat komplek dan serius terhadap kerusakan lingkungan salah satu penyebabnya adalah produksi yang tidak ramah lingkungan. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh sikap dan niat beli produk yang dimediasi oleh pengetahuan lingkungan dan kepedulian lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan produk The Body Shop yang dilakukan di Yogyakarta. Penelitian dengan 140 responden dengan metode purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sikap berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengetahuan lingkungan, sikap berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepedulian lingkungan,sikap berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap niat beli, pengetahuan lingkungan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat beli, kepedulian lingkungan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat beli, pengetahuan lingkungan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap sikap dan niat beli, kepedulian lingkungan secara positif dan signifikan memediasi sikap dan niat beli. kepedulian lingkungan dan pengetahuan lingkungan mampu memediasi sikap dan niat beli pada produk The Body Shop di Kota Yogyakarta. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji tingkat literasi keuangan mahasiswa dan karakteristik demografis yang mempengaruhinya. Responden penelitian sejumlah 444 mahasiswa yang berasal dari Fakultas Ekonomi (FE) dan Non Fakultas Ekonomi (Non-FE) di sebuah universitas swasta (PTS) di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan indikator literasi keuangan meliputi: basic personal finance, manajemen uang, utang dan kredit, tabungan dan investasi serta manajemen resiko. Metode analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji beda, regresi probit dan tobit. Hasil statistik deskriptif menunjukkan tingkat literasi keuangan mahasiswa relatif rendah, yakni sejumlah 37.79%. Terlebih, hasil studi menunjukkan adanya perbedaan literasi keuangan mahasiswa FE dan Non FE serta tahun angkatan. Literasi keuangan paling tinggi dimiliki oleh mahasiswa FE dengan tahun angkatan 2016. Hasil regresi probit dan tobit menunjukkan tahun angkatan dan disiplin ilmu berpengaruh terhadap literasi keuangan. Implikasi penting dari hasil penelitian adalah peran universitas melalui perumusan kurikulum pembelajaran dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman literasi keuangan mahasiswa, khususnya pada aspek tabungan dan investasi.
