Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas hasil karpet menggunakan teknik meranjut dengan benang TARN (T-shirt Yarn). Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen , jenis eksperimen dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian murni, yaitu percobaan pembuatan karpet menggunakan teknik merajut, dalam percobaan ini membuat karpet dengan 2 model yaitu model A dan B menggunakan bahan dasar benang TARN. Variabel penelitian ini menggunakan variabel tunggal yaitu kualitas karpet berbahan benang TARN, variabel ini tidak mempengaruhi ataupun dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Metode pengumpulan data dalam peneliti observasi dengan lembar pengamatan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase deskriptif. Hasil penelitian karpet yang diuji kualitasnya oleh 38 responden. Hasil analisis uji kualitas menunjukkan bahwa produk karpet secara keseluruhan sangat tinggi. Studi kualitas tersebut, paling tinggi terdapat pada karpet model B dengan nilai rata-rata 81,64% kriteria sangat tinggi, kemudian karpet model A dengan nilai rata-rata 80,86%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas paling tinggi terdapat pada karpet model B dengan nilai persentase sebesar 81,64%.

Abstract

The Fashion Design Education Study Program is one of the study programs in the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang. In learning at the Fashion Design Education Study Program, 70% of learning is practical learning. In the Fashion Design Education Study Program, the researcher found that the laboratory management was still not optimal due to several problems, including the laboratory management which was still manual and not properly organized according to standards. This problem has inspired researchers to develop laboratory management for the Fashion Design Education Study Program in the Home Economic Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang. It is hoped that the results of this research will produce SOP (standart operational procedure) products that improve the laboratory management of the Fashion Design Education Study Program so that they can develop better and have clear measurement standards. This study used a development research design (Gall and Borg, 1983). This development research procedure consists of 6 stages, namely determining, identifying problems, reviewing various laboratory SOP, developing prototypes, expert reviews and testing SOP prototypes, and revising development products. The results of this research are (1) Several SOP products, including: SOP for the preparation of laboratory use schedules, SOP for the use of laboratory equipment, SOP for the use of laboratory equipment, SOP for borrowing laboratory equipment/ goods/ facilities and infrastructure, SOP for the use of laboratory equipment, SOP for maintenance of laboratory equipment. , SOP for maintenance and repair of Laboratory Equipment, and SOP for monitoring and evaluation of Laboratory; (2) The feasibility of laboratory SOP by laboratory management experts is considered feasible to be tested and used for Laboratory SOP with several suggestions for revisions, with a percentage rate of 78% for the first expert, and 83% for the second expert; and (3) The results of the feasibility of the SOP for the Laboratory of Fashion Design Education Study Program, Home Economic Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang, after being tested on laboratory assistants, practical lecturers and students, were assessed that the SOP was very suitable to be used in the Laboratory of the Fashion Design Education Study Program Universitas Negeri Semarang. The percentage level of testing to the laboratory assistant is 93%, practical lecturers 88% and students 95% with no revision respectively.

Abstract

This research was the development of a video tutorial for making 3D fashion designs using Marvelous Designer Software which aims to visualize the shape of clothing in real terms. Based on observations, during the fashion practice lectures, students have difficulty understanding the shape of clothing and the fall of fabric in a 2D design, students have not been equipped with knowledge of 3D design making in practical fashion courses. Based on the problems found in the field, research was carried out on the development of learning media in the form of video tutorials for making 3D fashion designs using Marvelous Designer software to visualize the shape of clothing in children's fashion production courses so that students have the ability to make designs and are able to present the shape of clothing and the fall of the fabric used. will be made in 3D. This study uses the 4D Research And Development Model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The validation of this tutorial video media product was carried out by involving 2 Media Expert validators and 2 Material content validators. This study involved 30 IKK FPP UNP students who took the Children's Clothing Production course.

Abstract

This research discusses the Validity of Women's Clothing Pattern Making Videos in the Fashion Pattern Construction Course. Online lectures require a media that can present and demonstrate the stages of making the basic pattern of women's clothing digitally so that students can observe the lecture material and can rewind if they don't understand without having to be disturbed by the signal/out of the internet data packets. This study uses the R&D (Research & Development) method with a 4D (four-D) model. The research stages consist of defining, designing, develop and disseminating. The production process of Women's Fashion Pattern Making Videos was designed with the CAD Pattern Making application and recorded with the Bandicam application. The results of the research are in the form of valid learning videos so that they can be used in the process of lecturing on Fashion Pattern Construction at IKK FPP UNP.

Abstract

Partners in Service community in Payo Solok District of Lubuk Sikarah are housewives and teenagers drop out of school. The problem faced by the people in the District of Lubuk Sikarah Payo Solok is a lack of knowledge and skills of the communities in the field of fashion, especially in decorating the veil and make accessories. The method used in accordance goals in training. The results of the implementation of the training activities create various accessories that housewives and teenagers (PKK) in Kanagarian Payo Solok, it has the ability and skill in making accessories in various forms by 75%, and the participants have to understand and have base makes a wide range of accessories by 80%. This can be seen from the shape hijab accessories and brooches generated sufficient quality. This is because the participants were seriously and earnestly to follow and activities make hijab accessories. The capacity of the hijab accessories making techniques, participants also have the skill by 85%. Keywords: Hijab Embroidery Training and Accessories

Abstract

Masalah-masalah yang dialami dalam mengembangkan desa wisata di Kanagarian Tabek Panjang, Sungai Janiah mengakibatkan belum optimalnya perekonomian di Objek Wisata Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah, Nagari Tabek Panjang. Untuk pengembangan Objek Wisata Ikan Sakti perlu di lakukan pelatihan pembuatan motif kain dengan metode ecoprint mengingat bahan baku yang digunakan (tumbuhtumbuhan) sangat berlimpah dan mudah di dapatkan.selain itu hasil kain yang dari ecoprint berbentuk kelompok sadar wisata Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah sesuai dengan keahlian tim pengabdian dibidang Tata Busana. Materi-materi yang akan diberikan saat pelatihan sebagai solusi permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra sebagai berikut: a) Pelatihan pemilihan alat, bahan dan jenis-jenis tekstil yang digunakan dalam pembuatan motif dengan metode ecoprint, b) pemilihan bahan daun yang digunakan dalam membuat motif, c) Teknik dan proses ecoprint, d) pewarnaan dasar kain. Pelaksanaan pengabdian bagi masyarakat digunakan metode yang bervariasi yaitu: a) Metode ceramah dan tanya jawab praktek pembuatan motif dengan ecoprint, 2) Metode demonstrasi dan praktek (a) pemilihan alat, bahan dan tumbuh-tumbuhan yang digunakan dalam proses pembuatan motif dengan ecoprint, b) menentukan pola hias dalam menyusun tumbuh-tumbuhan diatas kain, c) Teknik dan proses ecoprint d) pewarnaan dasar kain), c) Bimbingan. Di akhir kegiatan, para peserta mampu menyelesikan pembuatan motif kain menggunakan metode ecoprint.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi (evaluation research) dengan menggunakan model CIPP (context, input, process, product). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada SMK N 4 Surakarta. Kurikulum entrepreneur diterapkan pada kompetensi keahlian Tata Busana dan Tata Boga. Populasi pada penelitian ini terdiri dari guru produktif sebanyak 38 responden, siswa kelas entrepreneur sebanyak 132 siswa dan siswa non entrepreneur (Kecantikan dan Perhotelan) sebanyak 108 responden sehingga total responden dari siswa sebanyak 240 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, wawancara, chek list, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas dilakukan dengan validitas isi yaitu expert judgement. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan uji perbandingan antara siswa entrepreneur dengan siswa non entrepreneur (Kecantikan dan Perhotelan) dengan mengunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1)  Kriteria Context, Input, Process, Product yang di peroleh dari Angket A (Respon guru) dan angket B ( Respon siswa) Berdasarkan nilai Skweness menunjukan hasil yang baik dan perlu dipertahankan, (2) hasil perbandingan siswa entrepreneur dengan siswa non entrepreneur dengan uji Chi-square dari kriteria input, process, product menunjukan perbedaan yang signifikan.

Abstract

This study intends to increase the creative results of student motif designs in the Decorative Design course by applying a learning model based on the natural environment (Environment Learning). This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were D3 students of the Fashion Design Study Program, totaling 37 people. Data collection techniques used student observation sheets, student activity sheets, student design results tests and questionnaires via Google form. The results of this study are learning decorative design in Cycle II it is known that as many as 32 students who have completed the competency in designing decorative motifs after applying the environmental learning learning model with an acquisition score of 86.48%, while students who did not complete as many as 5 students with acquisitions percentage value of 13.51%. So it was concluded that the percentage increase from cycle I to cycle II was 18.91%.

Abstract
