Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini melihat bagaimana orang tua dalam melakukan proses pewarisan bahasa kepada anaknya. Pewarisan bahasa merupakan hal yang sangat wajar dilakukan oleh setiap elemen budaya, dalam rangka pelestarian budaya. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk melihat bagaimana pewarisan bahasa dilakukan kepada generasi Z yang sudah terpengaruh oleh teknologi dan penetrasi budaya asing. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk melihat bagaimana proses interaksi simbolik yang digunakan pada generasi yang lebih muda dan sudah terpapar oleh teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan wawancara yang dilakukan kepada komunitas perkumpulan masyarakat Nias Sihasara TOdO Fadoro Dahana yang berada di daerah Jabotabek. Subjek penelitian yaitu 1 key informan dan 4 informan yang terdiri dari 2 orang tua, 1 anak generasi z dan 1 anak generasi milenial. Sebelum peneliti melakukan wawancara mendalam, peneliti melakukan observasi ke tempat kediaman informan. Subjek yang diteliti pun asli dari Suku Nias yang berada di daerah Bekasi. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah telah terjadi pergeseran perilaku terkait proses pewarisan bahasa pada generasi Z. Hal ini dilihat dari beberapa faktor yaitu pertama, kondisi orang tua yang berada di perantauan yang mulai tidak peduli untuk mengajarkan bahasa Nias kepada anaknya. Faktor yang kedua yaitu dari generasi Z itu sendiri yang merasa bukan bagian dari orang Nias itu sendiri karena mereka tidak lahir di sana. Faktor yang ketiga pengaruh lingkungan dimana sekolah mereka memasukkan bahasa Inggris dan bahasa asing lainnya selain bahasa Indonesia ke dalam kurikulum. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan mereka fokus pada penguasaan bahasa-bahasa tersebut ketimbang bahasa daerah mereka sendiri. Faktor yang keempat adalah mulai banyaknya orang tua yang menikah berbeda suku sehingga bahasa yang digunakan untuk berkomunikasi rata-rata adalah bahasa Indonesia di rumah. . The inheritance of language is a very reasonable thing to do by every element of culture, in order to preserve the culture. The study focuses on seeing how language inheritance was done to the Z-generation who were already affected by technology and the penetration of foreign cultures. This research aims to see how the symbolic interaction process used in the younger generation has been exposed by technology. This research uses qualitative methods with an interview approach made to the community of community gatherings Nias Sihasara TÖdÖ Fadoro Dahana located in Jabotabek area. The research subject is 1 key informant and 4 informants consisting of 2 parents, 1 child z Generation and 1 child of millennials. Before the researchers conducted an in-depth interview, researchers made observations to the informant's dwelling place. The subject is researched from the Nias tribe which is in Bekasi area. Conclusions derived from the results of this research is there has been a shift in behavior related to the process of language inheritance in Z generation. This is seen from several factors, first, the condition of parents who are in the overseas who started to not care about teaching Nias language to his son. The second factor is that of the Z-generation itself that feels that it is not part of the Nias people themselves because they are not born there. The third factor influences the environment in which their school includes English and other foreign languages in addition to Bahasa Indonesia into the curriculum. This resulted in them focusing on mastering these languages rather than their own regional language. The fourth factor is the number of parents who marry different tribes so that the language used to communicate on average is the Indonesian language at home. Abstract

This study aims to discuss the adaptation process of out-of-province students from Batam in UPN Veteran Jakarta in facing cross-cultural communication barriers using the Communication Accommodation Theory. The study used the qualitative descriptive method using primer and secondary data; the data collecting technique was done by purposive sampling. Then the researcher used the Miles and Huberman data analysis stages which are the data reduction stage, presenting data, then drawing conclusions and verification using the triangulation method. The final result of the study shows that out-of-province students from Batam experienced the five stages of the adaptation process according to Young Y. Kim. The five stages cover Planning Phase, Honeymoon Phase, Frustration Phase, Readjustment Phase, and Resolution Phase through each other’s different experiences. Although different, they experienced similar problems in facing cross-cultural communication barriers, which are cultural differences, especially languages, customs, and lifestyle, so they experience culture shock. Therefore, out-of-province students from Batam started to develop in various ways, thus making accommodations and convergence in facing cultural differences to be able to adapt and interact comfortably in the UPNVJ environment. Abstract

Rumah Langit Foundation is an institution engaged in the social sector, namely fostering the children of scavengers in the Gedong village area, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. Rumah Langit has aspirations to inspire children. The Rumah Langit Foundation has a website that is designed to provide information access space for the public to get to know the vision, mission and activities carried out by the foundation. On the other hand, the children assisted by this foundation have smart phones from their scavengers profession. It is feared that this new habit will expose the fostered children to sensitive or negative content if they do not receive proper guidance. The presence of this activity is expected to be able to optimize the existing website and be able to inform the wider community so that it invites more participation and provides briefing to avoid the negative impact of the internet.

Abstract

According to Law No. 3 of 2002 on National Defense, the defense of the State is the responsibility of all citizens of Indonesia, including community organizations. Forum Bela Negara (FBN) DKI Jakarta, a community organization formed with the specific purpose of overseeing efforts to strengthen the values of the country's defense in society, has long been taking part in implementing the law. FBN, especially in the DKI Jakarta province, has organized many activities such as regular, comprehensive, and integrative socialization of fostering awareness of defending the country to the cadres and the public, as well as supporting and carrying out government programs for the creation of the National Defense Cadre. This is in line with the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) No. 7 of 2018 concerning the 2018-2019 National Action Plan of Nation Defense, which states that the internalization of the basic values of state defense to the general public is one of the intended action plans. The problems faced by FBN DKI Jakarta include the measurability of the results of activities and the ineffectiveness of the approach (model) of activities that have been held. The voluntary nature of membership in mass organizations (Law No.17 of 2013 article 1 paragraph 1) has caused FBN to have many limitations including in Event Management. The purpose of this community service program was to strengthen the FBN's institutions by increasing the soft skills and hard skills of the DKI Jakarta FBN Management on Event Management, which included, among others, the approach of implementing activities, making creative proposals, and raising funds. The method used in this program was as follows. First, a need assessment was conducted; next, a mini-workshop on Event Management was held, and finally, a Coaching Clinic or supervision to the idea of DKI Jakarta FBN activities was provided. Institutional strengthening was chosen because FBN as a mass organization has a strategic function in carrying out social change, such as supporting efforts to instill nationalism spirit and awareness of the defense of the people's state. The output of this activity was, among others, increasing knowledge and skills of the DKI Jakarta FBN Management related to Event Management, as evidenced by the draft proposal they had prepared. The core of this activity was to identify an adaptive, contemporary approach ranging from planning, implementation, and an evaluation in the activities carried out by the State Defense Forum.

Abstract

Abstract Website is a media tool that can be used by anyone, including educational institutions as a means of official, fast, and accessible communication from anywhere. This community service activity held at the Al-Ihsan Pandeglang Islamic Boarding School has a purpose to improve the abilities and self-development of teachers and students in the world of computers, especially website creation. It is hoped that, after receiving the website creation training, both teachers and students can develop and manage the school's website independently. The problems faced by partners at this time are the absence of specific ICT learning, teachers with limited ICT abilities, students who only have the ability to type, and the absence of an official school website. The implementation method used is assisting in making websites from content to management In this mentoring, pre-test and post-test surveys were also carried out to see the level of knowledge and the effects of the assistance provided. The results of the pre-test and post-test provided showed an increase in knowledge for participants by 29.31% for basic website creation, and an increase of 34.48% for knowledge related to website content. The conclusion is that this assistance is effective in increasing participants' knowledge of the creation and management of website content. Abstrak Website menjadi sarana media yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh siapa saja tak terkecuali oleh institusi pendidikan sebagai sarana komunikasi yang resmi, cepat, dan bisa diakses dari mana saja. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang diselenggarakan di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren Al-Ihsan Pandeglang ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan pengembangan diri bagi para guru dan siswa dalam dunia komputer khususnya pembuatan website, diharapkan setelah menerima pelatihan pembuatan website, baik guru maupun siswa dapat mengembangkan serta mengelola secara mandiri website milik sekolah. Adapun permasalahan yang dihadapi Mitra saat ini adalah tidak adanya pembelajaran TIK secara khusus, guru dengan kemampuan TIK terbatas, siswa yang hanya memiliki kemampuan mengetik, serta tidak adanya website sekolah secara resmi.Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah melakukan pendampingan pembuatan website mulai dari konten sampai pengelolaan, dalam pendampingan tersebut dilaksanakan juga survei pre test dan post test untuk melihat sejauh mana tingkat pengetahuan dan efek dari pendampingan yang diberikan. Hasil dari pre test dan post test yang diberikan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan bagi peserta sebesar 29.31% untuk dasar pembuatan website, dan kenaikan 34,48% untuk pengetahuan terkait konten website. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan adalah pendampingan ini efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta terhadap pembuatan dan pengelolaan konten website.

Abstract

Digital literacy is used to find, analyze, create, and transmit information and communication technology information. Based on the experience of several countries, the use of information technology has become one of the drivers of economic development, especially in rural areas and can encourage regional development. The use of ICT is considered effective in reducing community migration from rural to urban areas and improving the quality of government services through e-governance. Waringin Kurung Village is one of the isolated villages with a neighborhood located in the southern part of Banten Province, directly adjacent to the Ujung Kulon National Park area. This community service aims to improve the ability of village officials in utilizing digital literacy for the efficiency of the village service system, encouraging the dissemination of village information and village information. The method of implementing digital literacy development consists of three stages: a practice test by socializing the use of electronic mail (email), and understanding test through pretest and post-test on the use of Microsoft word applications, and case studies and problem-solving about information strategies. We conclude that higher education communities should involve more in developing digital literacy in rural villages. It will help rural communities use technology for their village administration and enhance public information management through the website and other digital channels.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses interaksionisme simbolik di organisasi Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Cabang XVI dengan menggunakan teori interaksi simbolik dan 3 konsep utama yaitu mind, self dan society yang mana simbol-simbol identitas diri, cara berbicara, cara panggilan, gestur dapat terlihat ketika interaksi antar sesama anggota Persit berlangsung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi dan menggunakan sumber data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Peneliti menggunakan empat tahap analisis data menurut Miles & Huberman, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukan penggunaan cara berbicara dan cara panggilan di Persit berdasarkan hierarki dari masing-masing anggota Persit berdasarkan kepada pangkat suami yang seorang prajurit TNI AD. Aturan cara pakaian, gestur, aturan berperilaku, dan simbol-simbol verbal di Persit menyimbolkan makna bahwa Persit merupakan organisasi yang memiliki tatanan dan aturan yang bersifat tegas sehingga wajib untuk dilakukan oleh seluruh anggota Persit. Kata Kunci; Interaksi simbolik, Hirarki, Budaya Militer ABSTRACT This study aims to find out how the symbolic interactionism process in the Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Cabang XVI organization uses symbolic interaction theory and 3 main concepts, mind, self, and society in which symbols of self-identity, speech, calling, gestures can be seen when the interaction between fellow members of Persit takes place. The type of research used is qualitative with phenomenological methods and the use of primary and secondary data sources. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling. Researchers used four stages of data analysis according to Miles & Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The results of this study were found the use of speech and the way of calling in Persit based on the hierarchy of each member of Persit based on the husband's rank of an Army soldier. The rules of clothing, gestures, rules of behavior, and verbal symbols in Persit symbolize the meaning that Persit is an organization that has strict rules and regulations that must be carried out by all members of Persit. Abstract

Desa Baros belum memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai penyambung lidah informasikepada masyarakat.. Pendampingan pembuatan konten Instagram bertujuan mengadakanakun media sosial sebagai medium informasi Desa Baros, Serang, Banten kepadamasyarakat. Pendampingan menggunakan dua metode yaitu ceramah dan penugasan.Metode ini menyasar pada dua pengelola akun Instagram yang menitikberatkan padakemampuan teknis individu. Hasil pendampingan adalah 1) mampu mengunggahdelapan konten dari lima konten yang diwajibkan; (2) membuat bentuk carouseluntuk menggambarkan konten; (3) mampu membuat desain foto; (4) mampumembuat keterangan gambar. Saran bagi pengelola akun Instagram dapatmeningkatkan pemilihan jenis konten selain informasi dan berita, membuat bentukkonten yang lebih beragam dengan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur yang tersedia secarakonsisten.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much vaccine disinformation influence the anxiety level of Jakarta-Bali tourists by using Information Integration Theory. The method used is descriptive quantitative using primary and secondary data sources. The technique of collecting data by collecting samples was done by purposive sampling. Researchers used the stages of validity and reliability testing to test the questionnaire instrument that has been made. Stages of data analysis using correlation test, coefficient of determination test, regression test, and hypothesis test. The final result of this study shows that there is a correlation between variable X and variable Y which has a strong relationship with a correlation value of 0.656 while the rest can be influenced by other factors. Then for the results of the hypothesis test, namely H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an effect of disinformation on the COVID-19 vaccine on the anxiety of Jakarta-Bali tourists.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced all lecture activities to be carried out online, including organizational activities. This has hampered many organizations in carrying out their work programs. This research was conducted to determine the obstacles that occur in organizational communication at HIMAIKOM FISIP UPN Veteran Jakarta during the Distance Learning period using Wursanto's concept of organizational communication barriers, namely; technical barriers, semantic barriers, behavioral barriers, structural barriers, distance barriers, and background barriers. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach and uses primary and secondary data sources. The data collection technique was carried out by Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in which the informants were selected by purposive sampling technique. The data obtained were then analyzed through four stages of data analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the six organizational communication barriers in HIMAIKOM are found according to the types of organizational communication barriers according to Wursanto. In addition, there are two new findings which are also factors that hinder organizational communication, namely gender differences and closeness between members.
