Abstract

This article is a study of Arabic Language Education students at the University of Muhammad Malang concerning spelling errors in writing Arabic characters. Orthography or Arabic alphabet spelling is a system that is generally used to realize the sound description from spoken language to written language in a language community, in this case Arabic. But in practice not everyone is able to describe the sound of language into writing correctly. Including students in the Arabic Language Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. This research is a descriptive type, in collecting data using observation techniques, documentation techniques, and interview techniques. The data analysis uses the orthographic equivalent method with basic techniques (orthographic sorting techniques) and advanced techniques (comparative correlation techniques). While the presentation of data uses informal variety. The results showed that the forms of orthographic errors or Arabic characters were first, one type of error consisting of adding vowels, reducing vowels or consonants, reducing consonant punctuation, and changing letters. Second, two or more types of errors. The factors underlying these mistakes are in terms of sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics.

Abstract

Abstract: Karangrejo Village, Kromengan Subdistrict, Malang Regency, which is well known as a producer of herbal medicine know as ‘Jamu Gendong’ since 1983 with 150 sellers of jamu Gendong incorporated in the Jamu Gendong Association of Karangrejo village, is still carrying out traditional production and marketing processes by carrying it around and going out of the area. In line with Permenkes No 3/2010 policy on herbal medicine scientification in research based on health services, which aims to increase the use of herbal medicine in health services through scientific research, as well as marketing activities that are very time-consuming and low production development, making Karangrejo village together with UMM Community Service Team, sparked Karangrejo Village as a Herbal Tourism and Creative Food Village. The approach method is aimed at 3 (three) main groups supporting the village economy, namely Village-owned business entity (BUMDes), tourism aware groups (POKDARWIS) and herbal medicine group POKJAMU, which include: Community facilitation models in the form of training and enhancing the quality of partner resources related to strengthening and fostering the structure and function of the organization, in the form of setting Vision, Mission, Logo, AD / ART to short and long term work plans. While assistance in the framework of production processing, packaging, marketing, diversification of processed products is carried out in order to improve production quality. Cooperation with the Department of food crop, Hortikultura and plantations in the procurement of ginger and turmeric seeds is aimed at reforesting the medicinal education tourism area. The construction of the Archway, the zero point tourism monuments and publications are carried out through weblogs, online and print publications.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the communicative method in improving the ability of mahârah al-kalâm, barriers to its implementation, and how to overcome communication barriers to the students at SDI Surya Buana Malang class VA for one semester in the 2018/2019 academic year. This research employed qualitative methods by taking field data or case study research. The data was collected by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The result of the research showed that there was no improvement in students' mahârah al-kalâm through the application of the communicative method. Students could only use short sentences in Arabic that had been memorized. The obstacle during the implementation of the communicative method was that the students were not fluent in reading iqra’ which resulted in the hardship of reading Arabic. Lack of Arabic lessons in schools caused inadequate Arabic learning process and students' lack of memorization of mufradât caused some difficulties in learning sessions. An effort to overcome these obstacles was that the teacher must provide extra sessions for students who could not read iqra’ fluently. Schools must also give extra sessions for Arabic lessons, and the teacher instructed all students to memorize vocabulary in accordance to the theme of the lesson.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan banyaknya kesulitan yang dirasakan oleh guru, siswa maupun wali siswa selama pembelajaran daring. Karena banyaknya siswa dan wali siswa kurang faham dengan teknologi pembelajaran, maka peneliti menggunakan WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran melalui WhatsApp. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas pembelajaran daring berbasis WhatsApp untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab siswa kelas 7 SMP Generasi Rabbani Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah kuantitatif dengan jenis asosiatif. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 15 siswa dari kelas 7 SMP Generasi Rabbani Bogor di semester genap tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa observasi, tes dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan mencakup uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji-T berpasangan dan uji efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan WhatsApp sebagai forum pembelajaran menggunakan fitur grup, voice note dan kamera dibuktikan melalui perbedaan signifikan nilai pretest dan posttest. Ditunjukkan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 61,66 dan posttest 83,66. Sedangkan untuk uji efektivitas dibuktikan berdasarkan rumus N-Gain dengan hasil 57,19%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa WhatsApp dapat meningkatkan mahārah kitābah siswa kelas 7 SMP Generasi Rabbani Bogor dengan kategori “cukup efektif”.

Abstract

Khutbah or khitabah is a form of prose literary that has its own characteristics in that it is presented. Even with the Khutbah carried by Thariq Ibn Ziyad too, which was said to give an influence on its audience, in this case is his soldiers. Through stylistics point of view, the writer studies Khutbah of Tariq Ibn Ziyad according to al-aswat (phonology), ikhtiyar al-lafz (Word preferences), and al-inhiraf (deviation) aspects. Based on this analysis it is found that there are elements of phonology, word's preferences, and deviations that relate to the events that occurred as said in the khutbah. Because of in fact that a work of literature cannot be separated from the historical frame of reference where the literary work is presented. Khutbah of Thariq Ibn Ziyad when it is seen from the stylistics indicate that this khutbah appears to provide stimulus, spirit, influence as well as reassuring to the soldiers who want to fight to the dhalim King, Roderick while expanding to a number of areas. This is proved by damir, harf, and mufradat used in the preaching that is very relevant to the conditions in those situations.

Abstract

Learning media appears to be a pivotal need for learning programs used to reach out learning objectives. This study aims to find out the application and effectiveness of the Iqra' wheel game to enhance students' Arabic reading skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of experiment. The subjects used are language students of tenth grade and 2nd MIPA students of tenth grade with a sample  60 students. Methods used observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in research is validity test, reliability test, sample t-test and effectiveness test. The research findings showed that is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. The pre-test score is quite smaller the post-test score of 84.41 < 90.58. The percentage of N-Gain shows 38.23% with a quite effective category. It can be concluded that the iqra wheel game is “quite effective” in improving Arabic reading skills.

Abstract

One of the elements to achieve educational goals is to produce quality human resources, including adequate educational infrastructure. In the language learning process, the environment becomes an important element that affects the learning process and students' motivation in improving language skills. The creation of the language environment can be realized through the provision of adequate learning infrastructure. The purpose of this study was to describe the implications of the management of facilities and infrastructure for learning Arabic related to student learning motivation at the Arabic Language Laboratory of FAI-UMM. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the data source in the form of a questionnaire distributed to students of the Faculty of Islamic Studies class 2018 who study Arabic intensively at the Arabic Language Laboratory, Islamic Studies Faculty, Muhammadiyah Malang University. The data collection techniques used the method of observation, questionnaires, and interviews. While the data analysis uses typology and triangulation. The results of this study indicate the implications of the management of facilities and infrastructure on student learning motivation at the Arabic Language Laboratory of FAI-UMM. This is evidenced by the percentage shown that not all students choose strongly agree (SS) in the points disseminated through a questionnaire.
