Abstract

ABSTRAK. Work engagement diketahui sebagai sumber bagi keberhasilan performa kerja individu dalam organisasi. Dalam hal ini, quality of work life menjadi salah satu topik yang menarik sebagai dasar dalam membentuk work engagement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh quality of work life terhadap work engagement pada Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) yang belum menikah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif non-eksperimental yang dilakukan kepada 63 orang PNS yang belum menikah. Alat ukur quality of work life menggunakan adaptasi kuesioner quality of work life dari Timossi dan work engagement menggunakan adaptasi alat ukur the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17). Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa quality of work life berpengaruh terhadap work engagement pada PNS yang belum menikah. Aspek development using human capacity memiliki kontribusi terbesar bagi quality of work life dalam mempengaruhi work engagement. ABSTRACT. Work engagement has been known as a source for the succes of individual work performance in the organization. In this case, quality of work life is an interesting topic as a basis for forming work engagement. This study aimed determine the effect of quality of work life on work engagement among unmarried Civil Servants (PNS). This study used non-experimental quantitative method which was conducted on 63 unmarried Civil Servants. Quality of work life instrument was adapted from quality of life questionnaire from Timossi and work engagement instrument was adapted from the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-17). The data was analyzed through simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study showed the quality of work life has an effect on work engagement of unmarried Civil Servants. Development using human capacity has the greatest contribution to the quality of work life in effecting work engagement.

Abstract

Quality of work life merupakan persepsi pekerja terhadap kualitas hidup di tempat kerja, yang dapat berdampak positif pada pekerja serta organisasi tempat kerja. Quality of work life telah banyak diteliti di Indonesia, namun alat ukur quality of work life dalam bahasa Indonesia masih sangat terbatas khususnya untuk subjek Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) dan belum menikah. Oleh karena itu, dipandang perlu untuk melakukan adaptasi alat ukur quality of work life sebagai research tool dalam bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan adaptasi alat ukur quality of work life versi bahasa Indonesia dengan memastikan bahwa instrumen alat ukur memiliki karakteristik good measurement yaitu validitas dan reliabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode non-experimental quantitative. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 63 Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) yang belum menikah, menggunakan kuesioner yang berisi 27 item. Bukti validitas didapatkan melalui expert judgement pada saat perancangan alat ukur dan validitas item melalui nilai Corrected item-total correlation. Reliabilitas diuji menggunakan koefisien Cronbsch’s alpha (α). Analisis item menemukan bahwa nilai Corrected item-total correlation berkisar antara 0,48 sampai 0,86. Pengujian reliabilitas memperoleh nilai α = 0,96. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen alat ukur quality of work life versi bahasa Indonesia ini valid dan reliabel.

Abstract

Effectiveness is needed by the company in order to run its business processes optimally. However, a company can be hampered in achieving its goals due to conditions that occur within the company. Outsourcing security companies are responsible for preparing and managing security personnel to work in client companies that are users, where the processes that occur within the company are an important aspect for outsourcing security companies. This study aimed analyze the organizational effectiveness of security outsourcing company viewed from the internal process approach. This research is qualitative research conducted at a security outsourcing company in West Java. This study used interview to key persons in the company and observation. The results of this study showed that the outsourcing security company classified as effective with note as an organization according to the internal process approach. Human resource management, especially training, is a critical area that hinders the effectiveness of the company. The training aspect can be the focus of organizational development goal to improve the performance of security personnel who can contribute to the effectiveness of the company. Efektivitas dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan agar dapat menjalankan proses bisnis secara optimal. Namun, sebuah perusahaan dapat terhambat dalam mencapai tujuannya dikarenakan kondisi yang terjadi di dalam perusahaan. Perusahaan outsourcing security bertanggung jawab menyiapkan dan mengelola personel satpam untuk bekerja di perusahaan klien yang menjadi pengguna, dimana proses yang terjadi di dalam perusahaan merupakan aspek penting bagi perusahaan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa efektivitas perusahaan outsourcing security ditinjau dari pendekatan proses internal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan pada sebuah perusahaan outsourcing security di Jawa Barat. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara kepada key person di perusahaan dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perusahaan outsourcing security tergolong efektif dengan catatan sebagai sebuah organisasi menurut pendekatan proses internal. Pengelolaan sumber daya manusia khususnya pelatihan menjadi area kritis yang menghambat efektivitas perusahaan. Aspek pelatihan dapat menjadi fokus sasaran pengembangan organisasi untuk meningkatkan performa karyawan personel satpam yang dapat berkontribusi pada efektivitas perusahaan.

Abstract

Team effectiveness is needed to assess the team's ability to work towards goals. The security personnel team is a group of security guard officers who are responsible for the process of securing, policing, and controlling an area. This study aimed to analyze the team effectiveness of security personnel viewed from input-process-output model. This study used the method of interview and observation on a team of 11-member security personnel, and document review. The results of the study showed that the team of security personnel was classified as ineffective according to the input-process-output model. Process variables, especially those related to communication, is critical area that hinders team effectiveness. Communication barriers make the exchange of information not smooth and bring obstacles to cooperation, thus impacting teamwork performance.Efektivitas tim diperlukan untuk menilai kemampuan tim dalam bekerja mencapai tujuan. Tim personel satpam adalah sekelompok petugas keamanan yang bertanggung jawab dalam proses pengamanan, penertiban, dan pengawasan di suatu area. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas tim personel satpam ditinjau dari model input-process-output. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi pada sebuah tim personel satpam yang beranggota 11 orang, serta review dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tim personel satpam tergolong tidak efektif menurut model input-process-output. Variabel process, terutama berkaitan dengan komunikasi menjadi area kritis yang menghambat efektivitas tim. Hambatan-hambatan komunikasi membuat pertukaran informasi menjadi tidak lancar dan membawa hambatan pada kerja sama, sehingga berdampak pada performa kerja tim.

Abstract

Accompanying the learning process of students is still a long mandate for parents and educators. Changes in the educational process that occurred as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic raised the need for students to improve their self-regulation ability in order to design more effective learning strategies, especially in terms of learning objectives. This study aims to obtain an overview of students' self-regulation in understanding learning objectives, carrying out their own learning plans and strategies, and monitoring independently how effective the learning process is. This research was conducted on four students who implemented fitrah based education. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Methods of data collection used observation and interviews. The results of this research showed that the cycle of self-regulation in students in schools that implemented fitrah based education has not been fully implemented. The forethought phase which is the beginning of the self-regulation cycle has not been carried out, so the subsequent phases are not running effectively.

Abstract

Based on BPB activities, there were 9,657B recorded. children under five (8.93%) with stunting status (chronic nutritional problems) out of 107,189 children under five weighed in the city of Bandung in 2020. From this data, 2.27%, or 2,434 children under five are very short and 6.65%, or 7,133 Toddlers with short status. The percentage of stunting under five in 2020 is close to the highest percentage of stunting under five in 2015 at 8.96%. During this period, the highest percentage of stunting under five was in 2015 (8.96%), and the lowest was in 2017 (1.94%) (Bandung City Health Office 2020). Looking at the relatively large population data in the city of Bandung, we are trying to carry out community service activities that take the theme of local food processing, where this empowerment activity focuses on local food processing to cadres and provides knowledge about parenting patterns for providing nutritious food. The stages of implementing this activity include identifying community needs. Before carrying out community service activities, first, identify community needs and observe various problems faced by the residents of the Cipadung Kidul Village, the working area of ​​the Panyileukan Health Center in the vicinity, then draw a theme based on these problems. In this activity, we are trying to make 2 types of local food: Tempe Sandwich and Tempe Kastu. Of course, these two types of food are prepared with ingredients that are safe and easy to find. As for some combinations of food, such as tempeh, eggs, white bread, etc. (can be seen in the following image)
