Abstract

The rapid development of the tourism industry in Indonesia has also contributed to the intense level of competition among tourism destination and their supporting industries. Marketers are required to be smarter in determining the promotion tool and marketing strategies of their businesses. This survey research aims to improve understanding of the characteristics and travelling behavior from two different market segments namely Generation X (born 1965-1980) and Generation Y or Millennial Generation (born 1981-2000). Data collection techniques were carried out by triangulation, namely literature review, questionnaires and interviews face to face directly and through WhatssApp. The sample of respondents used was 162 Gen-X and 244 Gen-Y selected purposively, by distributing questionnaires during February 2020 to visitors who have traveled to the city of Bogor. Data analysis was performed descriptively qualitative. The result from this survey research in this case study is that Gen-X and Gen-Y have many similarities in terms of characteristics and travel behavior. Significant differences in the two generations are in the 3 attributes of Respondent Characteristics (gadget usage time per day, social media preferences used, travel budget) and Travel Behavior in the aspects of Initiation, Decision Making, When Traveling and Post-Traveling.

Abstract

The waste management strategy based on the Sapta Pesona (Cleanliness) perspective is one way to provide knowledge to the community that their village where they live is a tourist area that must be clean and free of waste. All tourists will visit the area safe, orderly, clean, cool, beautiful, friendly, and memorable. The research method used is qualitative and quantitative methods. SWOT analysis techniques to improve waste management strategies based on the Santa Persona (Cleanliness) perspective. Data collection method: interviews community leaders, tourist awareness group, and youth organization, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Qualitative data research: the form of tables and diagrams from the results of the questionnaire and the SWOT analysis. The results of the questionnaire research strongly agree to implement the 3R (reduce-reuse-recycle) program, want to have their own trash cans, and want to throw garbage in their own trash cans carry out environmental cleanliness with mutual cooperation every month. The IFAS analysis was obtained with a value of 1.53, while the EFAS analysis, it was obtained a value of 0.96 then it was brought together in the SWOT analysis quadrant and the results showed that the quadrant 1 area supported aggressive strategies.  This means that the local government of Cimande Tourism Village is carried out a progressive strategy by utilizing the internal strength of Cimande Tourism Village to benefit from external opportunities (opportunities) to support waste management problems so that there are high awareness and interest of the Cimande community about environmental cleanliness to reached Cimande clean. Keywords: Waste Management, Sapta Pesona, Cleanliness, Community Interest, Cimande Village

Abstract

Pentingnya pemahaman Sadar Wisata dan penerapan Sapta Pesona bagi masyarakat merupakan akar yang harus dimilki dalam mengembangkan suatu desa wisata berbasis masyarakat. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Wisata Sukajadi, termasuk dalam lingkup kawasan sentra pariwisata di Kabupaten Bogor. Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat desa tentang Sadar Wisata dan Sapta Pesona sehingga diharapkan dapat menciptakan iklim yang kondusif, menumbuhkan partispasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan pariwisata di desanya. Program ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, permainan dan praktik, dihadiri oleh kelompok sadar wisata desa, kelompok ibu PKK, Karang Taruna, Ketua RT, pimpinan desa, BUMDES, dan turut dihadiri Ketua Asosiasi Desa Wisata Kabupaten Bogor pada saat praktik. Para peserta tampak sangat antusias dan gembira pada saat pembinaan, terlihat dari keaktifan para peserta dalam menjawab dan mengajukan pertanyaan.

Abstract

It is essential to use Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) in restaurants and hotels to support tourism in the new normal era. It is anticipated to help the community by raising awareness of the importance of cleanliness, health, safety, and environmental sustainability through socialization of the implementation of the CHSE protocol. So that hotel owners or employees are highly aware of and interested in it, and the restaurant is primarily about environmental cleanliness in order to achieve the go-green goal. The goal of this socialization is to prepare employees, guests, suppliers, vendors, contractors, and other hotel and restaurant stakeholders to return to Bogor for guest visits. The method of implementing health protocol socialization with CHSE standards () was carried out through technical guidance to employees of the restaurant receptionist and hotel concierge divisions in Bogor City, with methods of lecturing, tutorials, discussions, games, and evaluations to as many as 30 participants. The average value of participants' understanding of the CHSE aspects was 88.86 percent, indicating that all participants understood what indicators were included in the CHSE aspects, according to the results of this puzzle game.

Abstract

                  Matahari Tourism Park is a place of recreation and tourism with the motto Recreation and Education Park. Meanwhile, referring to the data from the management of the Matahari Tourism Park, the number of tourist visits since the pandemic has decreased. Referring to the data in the last three years, Matahari Tourism Park has experienced a decline in tourists which has an effect on company income. This matter needs to be seen in terms of effectiveness, especially the marketing mix in the new normal era. The indicators of effectiveness include goal achievement, integration, and adaptation. Researchers want to know the effectiveness of the marketing mix at Taman Wisata Matahari in the new normal era. This research uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, literature study, and in-depth interviews with informants. The variables of this study refer to the marketing mix, namely product, price, place, and promotion. Qualitative data analysis consists of three streams of activities that occur simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. the effectiveness of the marketing mix at Taman Wisata Matahari in the new normal era, namely products in the form of water tourism rides, game rides, adventure rides, and educational rides. As for other products, namely accommodation facilities, fields, gazebos, culinary and souvenirs, as well as tour packages. Regarding the price in the form of an entrance ticket to Matahari Tourism Park, it is Rp. 60,000 for domestic and Rp. 150,000 for foreign countries. Meanwhile, place in the form of product marketing locations is focused on TWM locations. The focus of the marketing location for TWM products is in the Jabodetabek area at this time. Meanwhile, promotion is in the form of social media. Overall, all of these variables are included in the adaptation indicators

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method in inventory control, in terms of inventory profitability and non-financial performance (production efficiency, timely delivery, product quality). The research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. This study calculates the optimal inventory raw materials of chicken, beef, and lamb. The EOQ is more optimal and efficient, showed by the ordering cost difference is Rp 702,000,-, the total storage cost difference is Rp 2,863,917, -, the difference between the total purchase cost is Rp 57,278,334, -, and the difference in the total cost of inventory is Rp. 3,565,917,-. By using the EOQ method, Royal Tulip can save a total cost of Rp 64,410,168,-.

Abstract

Tourism is an industry in which there are components called 4As: attractions, accessibility, amenities, and ancillary services. Of the four components, quite a lot of expenditure is made by tourists on amenities related to the purchase of food and beverages. Village development is carried out by utilizing the various potentials in it in order to improve the village economy. One of the villages with potential that can be optimized is Sukajadi Village, located in Tamansari District, Bogor Regency. Sukajadi Village has provided various food and beverage products to attract tourists, including the CheesePal and Mipala Sukajadi which are local products made from nutmeg developed by the Bogor Tourism College. The purpose of this study is to increase public knowledge about the quality of food and beverage products in Sukajadi Village, to provide maximum value and benefits for consumers regarding the quality of food and beverage products. This research was conducted through data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, direct observation and literature study. Based on the calculation of the aspects of Color, Portion, Temperature and Texture on the food and beverages provided in Sukajadi Village, a Mean value of 3.5 was obtained, while the Taste, Appearance, Shape and Aroma aspects obtained a Mean value of 3.6. These two values indicate that on average the respondents quite agree with the good quality of food and beverage products provided in Sukajadi Village. The food and drinks provided are quite acceptable.

Abstract

Tren desa wisata pasca pandemik Covid-19 di Indonesia meningkat seiring munculnya new economic tourism. Namun, kontradiktif dengan pengembangan desa wisata di Kabupaten Bogor yang cenderung lebih lambat dibandingkan wilayah lain di Jawa Barat. Permasalahan krusial yang terjadi pada pengembangan desa wisata di Kabupaten Bogor adalah SDM dan kelembagaan, tidak terkecuali dengan desa wisata Sukajadi yang hingga saat ini masuk ke dalam kategori desa wisata rintisan. Berdasarkan hal inilah, urgensi program pengabdian kepada masyarakat desa wisata Sukajadi adalah perlu adanya penguatan pariwisata melalui pemberdayaan SDM kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis) yang kreatif dan memiliki kualitas layanan yang prima melalui wisata edukasi berbasis ekonomi kreatif. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah sebagai upaya diversifikasi produk wisata sehingga desa wisata Sukajadi memiliki keunggulan kompetitif dari desa wisata lainnya di sekitarnya. Berdasarkan data dan fakta inilah, simulasi wisata edukasi berbasis ekonomi kreatif yang dianggap berpotensi menjadi produk wisata baru dan mampu menarik minat wisatawan dilakukan, guna meningkatkan pelayanan prima dan edukatif. Wisata edukasi akan menciptakan wisatawan yang berkualitas sehingga pelayanan prima dan edukatif sangat dibutuhkan untuk memberikan pengalaman yang tidak terlupakan bagi wisatawan. Luaran yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi para penggiat ecobrick untuk memberikan pelayanan prima dan edukasi pada wisata edukasi berbasis ekonomi kreatif ecobrick di desa wisata Sukajadi, Kabupaten Bogor.   The trend of tourist villages after the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia is increasing along with the emergence of new economic tourism. However, this is contradictory to the development of tourist villages in Bogor Regency which tends to be slower than other regions in West Java. The crucial problems that occur in the development of tourist villages in Bogor Regency are human resources and institutions, including the Sukajadi tourist village which is currently included in the pilot tourism village category. Based on this, the urgency of the community service program for the Sukajadi tourist village is the need to strengthen tourism through empowering human resources from tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis) who are creative and have excellent service quality through creative economy-based educational tourism. The aim of this community service is as an effort to diversify tourism products so that the Sukajadi tourist village has a competitive advantage over other tourist villages in the surrounding area. Based on these data and facts, a creative economy-based educational tourism simulation, which is considered to have the potential to become a new tourism product and able to attract tourist interest, was carried out, in order to improve excellent and educational service. Educational tourism will create quality tourists so that excellent and educational service is needed to provide an unforgettable experience for tourists. The outcome to be achieved from this activity is to improve the communication skills of ecobrick activists to provide excellent service and education in ecobrick creative economy-based educational tourism in the Sukajadi tourist village, Bogor Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether service quality (X) influences the level of tourist satisfaction (Y) at the Bubulak culinary tourism on the edge of the rice fields, Bogor City. The population in this study was 859 people using the Slovin formula calculation to obtain a sample size of 90 people which was added to 100 people. Sampling in this research used probability sampling. In this research, the data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression test. The results of the research show that there is a simultaneous influence of service quality (X) on customer satisfaction (Y). Service quality (X) has an influence of 75.8% on customer satisfaction (Y) while the other 24.2% is influenced by other factors.
