Abstract

The purpose of the research is improve the writing skill of poetry by applying Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model on the fifth grade of Surakarta State Primary School at 2017/2018 academic year. The type of this research is classroom action reseach (CAR), it consist of two cycles. Each cycles consist of four phases, they are planning, action, observasion, and reflection. The data collecting technique are interview, observasion, documentation, and test. The data validity technique are content validity and triangultion methods. The data analysis is interactive analysis model (Miles and Huberman). The improvment percentage of completness in pre-cycle, first cycle, and second cycle. The conclusion of the research is applying Coopertive Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model can improve the writing skill of poetry on the fifth grade of Surakarta State Primary School at 2017/2018 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine the effect of Project Based Learning (PjBL) on students' experimentation skills; (2) determine the influence of creative thinking skills on students' experimentation skills; (3) knowing the interaction between Project Based Learning (PjBL) and creative thinking skills on students' experimentation skills. The subjects of this research were all fourth grade elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative type of research with a quasi-experimental research design that provides pretests and posttests to the control class and experimental class groups. The research instruments used were performance to measure students' experimentation skills and written tests to measure students' creative thinking skills. Data analysis prerequisite tests include normality tests, homogeneity tests, and balance. Hypothesis testing uses a two-way ANOVA test with different cells. The results of this research show that (1) Project Based Learning (PjBL) influences students' experimentation skills; (2) Creative thinking skills influence students' experimentation skills; (3) The application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) has an effect on students who have high creative thinking skills. The conclusion of this research is that there is an influence of Project Based Learning on experimentation skills in science learning in terms of creative thinking skills

Abstract

This research describes the implementation of "Pecel Jawara Madiun" in the profile of Pancasila students (P3). The main objective of the research is to describe "Pecel Jawara Madiun" in strengthening the Pancasila student profile strengthening project (P5). The type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection methods with observation and interviews. Data analysis technique with inductive technique. Research results: the implementation of character education through internal and external strategies. Internal strategies are focused on storytelling and nembang jawa habituation activities aimed at building a school environment atmosphere. External strategies are focused on developing the school education system

Abstract

The research aims to describe the management of character education based on Javanese culture of Surakarta Kasunanan Palace in Kasatriyan Surakarta Elementary School, with a descriptive qualitative research type, in the form of a single case study strategy. Data collection techniques used participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and field notes. The results of the study concluded that the management of Javanese culture-based character education of Surakarta Palace in the form and implementation of the program. In terms of program form based on: The vision, mission and goals of the school, that the school implements Javanese culture-based education. Through its vision, SD Kasatriyan Surakarta wants to produce students who are knowledgeable, faithful, devoted to God Almighty and have noble character. Through its objectives, it wants to preserve regional culture through Local Content of Regional Language and it is expected that 75% of students are able to speak Javanese properly and correctly. In the school's mission, which is to promote education and establish partnerships with related agencies in order to prepare quality resources for common welfare. The teaching program through character education integrates Javanese culture, such as intracurricular programs. Extracurricular programs: karawitan, dranband and kulintang. Habituation teaching programs, such as: neatness of dress, good manners, shaking hands, speaking Javanese to communicate, especially during Javanese language lessons.
