Abstract

This study describes the effectiveness of STEAM-based augmented reality (AR) learning media in natural science learning in elementary schools. This research used an experimental method. Six schools were involved as the subjects of this research, which was consisted of 3 elementary schools for experimental classes (60 students) and three elementary schools for control classes (60 students). The teachers involved were the 6th grader teachers. The data collection technique used 30 multiple choices questions for the students.The study results concluded that STEAM-based augmented reality effectively improved the quality of natural science learning in elementary schools. The t-test calculation results utilizing SPSS obtained t-count of 2.874 t-table of 1.980 (df-2= 122-2= 120). The normalized gain results showed a significant increase before and after using STEAM-based augmented reality media in natural science learning in elementary schools, which was 0.72 included in the high category.This research implies that research helps teachers optimize the use of media and teaching approaches. One of them is the use of STEAM with augmented reality media.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of SD Angkasa Colomadu teachers on online science learning during the pandemic. This research used descriptive qualitative research methods and a case study approach. The subjects of this study were three teachers of grades IV, V, and VI SD Angkasa Colomadu in the academic year 2020/2021. Data collection techniques used interviews and documentation. The data validity test techniques used the triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques used interactive analysis techniques Miles and Huberman consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results show that the teachers felt that learning sciences in the network was not optimal. Teachers do not optimally apply basic process skills. The teachers feel the limitation in the communication process.  They also have a restriction on directing the students to formulate hypotheses, conclude the material, guide experimental activities, attract students to ask questions, guide the measurement process, guide observation activities, classify, interpret, and predict processes due to media limitations. On the other hand, teachers feel that online learning makes teachers more innovative, creative, and able to take advantage of cellphones, computers, and the internet in learning activities, especially in learning science online during the pandemic period.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of a science instrument analysis based on Facione's critical thinking theory. The method used in this study was qualitative descriptive. The research subject was a 5th grade science instrument of Angkasa Colomadu Elementary School. Data collected with document analysis and interview. The validity test used for the data was technical triangulation. This research using Miles and Huberman's data-analysis techniques of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. Analysis result shows that the science instrument went in less than the criteria with a 29.91% score. Based on each analysis of critical thinking indicator of Facione for the 5th grade science's final semester exam (PAS) of Angkasa Colomadu Elementary School, the dividend score on an interpretation indicator of 5.83% in the category has not met; Undermeeting category of 22.22% analysis indicator; 10.56% evaluation indicator with category not met; 25.01% inference indicator with less than met category; 15.83% explanation indicators in unmet categories; And a 100% self-regulation indicator with a very well-met category. Therefore, Facione's critical thinking indicator was inadequate. This study can be used as a reference for teachers, school, and the government to optimize the quality of assessment and students critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine if the model inside outside circle can enhance the speaking skills in class IV elementary school Negeri Tunggulsari 1 Surakarta school year 2019/2020.This research uses qualitative descriptive research methods. The variables that was subjected to change in this study was speaking skills, while the variable action used in this study was an application of a model Inside Outside Circle (IOC).This form of research is a class action study of 3 cycles. Cycle I consists of 1 meeting, cycle II consists of 2 meetings and a cycle III consists of 1 meeting. Each cycle consists of 4 stages ie planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Students of class IV SD Negeri Tunggulsari 1 Surakarta which numbered 24 students are the subjects of the study . Data collection techniques using interview, observations, test, and documentation. The techniques of data analysis used are interactive analysis models that have 3 components of which data reduction, data presentation and withdrawal of conclusions.The first cycle generates a 0% percentage of the classifications of speaking skills, then continued with the second cycle resulting in a 54% success percentage, and the third cycle resulted in a percentage of 83% of the classifications of speaking skills. Based on research results, it may be inconclusive that  application of the inside outside circle learning model can improve the skills of learners of class IV students of the Negeri Tungulsari 1 Surakarta school year 2019/2020.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) telah dilaksanakan di Desa Kertodeso, Kecamatan Mirit, Kabupaten Kebumen selama 45 hari dimulai pada tanggal 16 Januari 2022 – 2 Maret 2022. Potensi desa yang melimpah menjadi salah satu tujuan utama pelaksanaan KKN guna meningkatkan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dalam mengolah dan mengembangkan potensi desa setempat. Berdasarkan hasil survey awal yang dilakukan melalui diskusi bersama perangkat dan masyarakat desa diketahui bahwa permasalahan yang dinilai berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan masyarakat Desa Kertodeso adalah terkait aspek perekonomian dan pendidikan. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, maka program kerja KKN UNS 2022 di Desa Kertodeso yang selaras dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan yang dicanangkan oleh pemerintah akan berfokus kepada beberapa point yang tercantum dalam SDGs. Oleh karena itu, tujuan program utama maupun program pendukung yang di susun oleh dapat membantu mengembangkan potensi desa, dan memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat Desa Kertodeso. Untuk dapat mencapai beberapa tujuan tersebut, maka beberapa rencana kegiatan yang diusulan dalam pelaksanaan Program KKN UNS 2022 Desa Kertodeso, sebagai berikut: Pemuktahiran data, penyuluhan tata kelola BumDes, pengolahan formulasi paten terkait produk usaha BumDes yaitu Sabun dan Madu, pembuatan rancangan gedung polindes, pembuatan babad desa, kegiatan kerja bakti bersama warga, pembuatan peta informasi desa, lomba bola voli desa, penyuluhan gerakan hidup sehat dan lomba kebersihan kelas bagi siswa sekolah dasar serta pembuatan video profil desa. Berdasarkan dari program-program kerja yang dilaksanakan maka mahasiswa berperan sebagai fasilitator, dinamisator dan motivator. Dan setiap kegiatan yang telah berlangsung secara kontinyu tetap dipertahankan untuk membekali diri sebagai bekal dikemudian hari.

Abstract

This research aims to improve solving problem ability about fraction for the fifth grade students using  Team Assisted Individualization (TAI). The subject of this research were 18 students of the fifth grade of SD Negeri 01 Mesoyi. This research is Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the 1st cycle improved precycle from 55,72 to 72,22 for the classical completeness. The classical completeness percentage improved from 22,22% to 66,67% in 1st cycle.. The results of the 2nd cycle after was fixed from the the 1st cycle shows that the average of the ability to solve essay problem of fraction was higher. The average score improve from 77,22 to 76,77 in the 2nd cycle. The classical completeness of the cycle 1st to 2nd is 66,67%  to 83,33%. The conclusion from this research shows that using Team Assisted Individualization can improve the ability to solve essay problem of fraction for the fifth grade of 01 Mesoyi elementary school Talun Distric Pekalongan Regency in the academic year 2020/2021

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the impact of online learning on the pedagogicalcompetence of grade 1 teachers at SDN Mangkubumen Lor No 15 Surakarta during the pandemic period; (2) to describe the impact of online learning on the professional competence of grade 1 teachers at SDN Mangkubumen Lor No 15 Surakarta during the pandemic period. This research used descriptive qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The data collection technique used the interview method and documentation study. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, namely grade 1 teachers of SDN Mangkubumen Lor No. 15 This study used Miles and Huberman field data analysis techniques with 4 steps, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity test used is using the Gregory technique analysis through the assessment of 4 experts. The results of the study show that the impact of online learning during the pandemic has resulted in low pedagogical and professional competence of primary school teachers, seen from several indicators that each competency has not been implemented by teachers optimally

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to improve representation skills of data presentation for fourth grade students of Mangkuyudan Elementary School Surakarta in 2018/2019 academic year by by applying Number Head Together (NHT). This Classroom Action Research consisted of two cyles with two learning in each cycle. Subject in this research were students and teacher in IV grade of Mangkuyudan Elementary School Surakarta. Research data collection by way of interviews, observations, test, and document analysis. Source triangulation and technical triangulation used for data validity. The data in this research used descriptive comparative analysis techniques and interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman. Classical completeness of students in initial condition was 3,33%, in first cycle showed 40%. then in second cycle showed 80%.

Abstract

Abstract.This research aimed to increase the ability to understanding the concept of single and mixed subtance by applying Two Stay Two Stray learning model to all The V grade students of elementary school III Slogohimo Year 2018/2019. The subject of this research is the teacher and the V grade students ofSlogohimo Elementary School Year 2018/2019 which was there 32 students.The technique of data validity was used source and technique triangulation. The result of the data in this research showing that the ability to understand singgle and mixed subtance concept was intereased in each cycles. Preaction show the data 6,35%, in the cycles I show the data clasical completeness result from te class 46,9%, and then 90,6% in cycles II. Based on the description above we can conclude that the applying of Two Stay Two Stray learning model can increase the ability of V grade student III Slogohimo Elementary School Year 2018/2019 to understand the single and mixed subtance concept.Keyword :Two Stay Two Stray, The concept understanding, single and mixed subtance

Abstract

The Minister of Education and Culture of The Republic of Indonesia since March 24 2020 issued Circular No.4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policies in an Emergency for the Spread of COVID-19, In this Circular Letter states that the learning process is carried out in their respective homes through online learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the impact of implementing online learning corncerning the quality of science learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in class VI.I SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The data were collected by means of questionnaires and interviews from teachers and students as well as strengthened documentation. The results showed that through the implementation of online learning had an impact on not achieving on of the criteria in the indicator, namely the development of critical thinking in science learning. Teachers have not developed critical thinking in students, and students have not developed critical thinking. Based on this description it can be concluded that the quality of science learning in class VI.I SDN Kleco I Surakarta is quite good due to the impact of implementing online learning.
