Abstract

Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is an optimization algorithm that is simple and reliable to complete optimization. The balance between exploration and exploitation of PSO searching characteristics is maintained by inertia weight. Since this parameter has been introduced, there have been several different strategies to determine the inertia weight during a train of the run. This paper describes the method of adjusting the inertia weights using fuzzy signatures called signature PSO. Some parameters were used as a fuzzy signature variable to represent the particle situation in a run. The implementation to solve the tuning problem of linear quadratic regulator (LQR) control parameters is also presented in this paper. Another weight adjustment strategy is also used as a comparison in performance evaluation using an integral time absolute error (ITAE). Experimental results show that signature PSO was able to give a good approximation to the optimum control parameters of LQR in this case.

Abstract

This study proposes the best light source, based on its color temperature, to be installed for indoor photovoltaic (PV) system since the light source is very significant for indoor PV system and greatly affects the performance of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC). In outdoor PV system, the higher temperature in the environment gives a fine impact for DSSC’s performance. However, this trend is unclear in indoor PV system. Hence, some experimental researches, such as investigating the light properties and the performance of DSSC under fluorescent lamps FL865 with CCT 6500K and FL830 with CCT 3000K, will be carried out in order to find out a preferable luminaire between two for indoor PV system. The results show that a light source, FL830, with lower color temperature is better for DSSC’s outcome in indoor use. Since the lower CCT produced higher illuminance, intensity, and radiant power that make DSSC generated 2.28% higher power than the higher CCT.Keywords: DSSC, Color Temperature, Indoor Solar Cell(Penelitian ini mengusulkan sumber cahaya terbaik berdasarkan correlated color temperature (CCT) atau temperatur warnanya untuk digunakan pada sistem indoor solar cell karena sumber cahaya sangat mempengaruhi kinerja Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) yang digunakan pada sistem indoor solar cell. Dalam sistem solar cell di luar ruangan, suhu yang lebih tinggi di lingkungan memberikan dampak yang baik untuk kinerja DSSC. Namun, tren ini belum jelas jika DSSC digunakan di dalam ruangan. Oleh karena itu, beberapa penelitian eksperimental, seperti menyelidiki sifat cahaya dan kinerja DSSC di bawah lampu neon FL865 dengan CCT 6500K dan FL830 dengan CCT 3000K, akan dilakukan untuk menemukan luminer yang lebih unggul untuk sistem PV dalam ruangan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sumber cahaya, FL830, dengan temperatur warna (CCT) yang lebih rendah lebih baik untuk DSSC dengan penggunaan dalam ruangan. Karena CCT lebih rendah menghasilkan iluminasi, intensitas, dan daya pancaran yang lebih tinggi yang membuat DSSC mencapai kinerja yang lebih baik dengan menghasilkan daya 2.28% lebih tinggi dari CCT yang lebih tinggi.Kata Kunci: DSSC, Temperatur Warna, Solar Cell dalam Ruangan).

Abstract

Microsoft office training in an orphanage is very beneficial both for the students of the orphanage and the administrators of the orphanage. Knowledge of Microsoft Office can be used as a basic asset for typing services at the orphanage so that it can increase income for the orphanage. Al-Kaaf Orphanage, which is located in Jabung, Malang Regency, wants to open a typing service business but is still constrained by the lack of knowledge about basic Microsoft Office. In this service activity, Microsoft Office training will be given at the Al-Kaaf Orphanage. Students of the Al-Kaaf Orphanage will be introduced to MS.Office namely Word, Excel, and Power Point. With this application from MS.Office, it will increase knowledge for students of the Al-Kaaf Orphanage, so that it can be used as the basis for opening a typing service business.

Abstract

The use of running text as a promotional media is considered very effective and can bring many benefits to a business. In Duwet Village, there is a UMK that produce several superior products, including corn rice (gerit), cassava crackers and bamboo crafts (besek). UMK in Duwet village require media that can be used for marketing media. This underlies the PkM team to conduct training in making running texts. The target in this training is the youth group of Duwet Village. The results of this dedication, it is hoped to be able to socialize and market superior products when guests or foreigner visits Duwet Village.

Abstract

The implementation of counseling about the importance of health protocols during the pandemic was carried out at the Al-Kaaf Jabung Orphanage, Malang Regency. The equipment used is a laptop, hand sanitizer, masks, and soap for washing hands. The method of this counseling is the tutorial through the zoom meeting application, followed by the students and orphanage administrators, because it is still in the pandemic period. The speakers in this activity are the teaching staff of the Electrical Engineering Department, State Polytechnic of Malang who in this case are members of this PkM activity and are assisted by students of State Polytechnic of Malang. The results of this dedication, it is hoped that the participants apply 5M in their daily life so that they can break the chain of the spread of COVID-19.

Abstract

Sistem double inverted pendulum digunakan untuk mengkaji metodekontrol dari sistem nonlinear yang kompleks. Pada sistem tersebutditemukan tiga permasalahan, yaitu swing-up, stabilisasi, dan tracking.Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode LQR-Bat Algorithm untukmengoptimasi kestabilan pada sebuah double inverted pendulum. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan penggunaan Bat Algorithm pada metode LQRdapat menyelesaikan permasalahan stabilisasi. Pada iterasi ke 300-400terjadi pengurangan nilai fitness yang menghasilkan fungsi SSE bernilaisemakin kecil.

Abstract

Seiring dengan meningkatnya pembangunan nasional di Indonesia,banyak hal positif yang tercipta dari pembangunan tersebut. Selain itu,muncul pula hal negatif dari pembangunan tersebut, salah satunya adalah kurangnya tempat untuk meningkatkan daya resap, sehingga menimbulkan genangan air. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dibangunlah gorong-gorong yang berfungsi untuk mengatasi genangan air.Pemantauan gorong gorong secara manual akan memakan banyak waktu serta biaya yang cukup besar. Pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah sistem telemonitoring, telekontrol dan orientasi pada robot untuk menginspeksi gorong-gorong jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode algoritma DCM untuk pengolahan data sensor IMU. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan komunikasi robot dengan user via wireless dapat dilakukan sejauh 20 meter dengan tingkat kehandalan 100%. Selain itu, penggunaan algoritma DCM dari sensor IMU menghasilkan error selisih tidak lebih dari 2 derajat dibandingkan dengan hasil pengujian manual. Along with the increase of national development in Indonesia, many positive things created from the development. In addition, there are also negative things from the development, one of which is the lack of places to increase the absorption capacity, causing stagnant water. The solution is built culverts that serve to overcome the puddle of water. Manually monitoring the culvert will take a lot of time and considerable cost. In this study designed a telemonitoring system, telecontrol and orientation on the robot to inspect the long-distance culvert. This research uses DCM algorithm method for IMU sensor data processing. The results of this study show that robot communication with the user via wireless can be done as far as 20 meters with 100% reliability level. In addition, the use of the DCM algorithm from the IMU sensor results in an error difference of no more than 2 degrees compared with manual test results.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Banyak peneliti telah mengembangkan berbagai jenis biosensor, salah satunya sensor pH memanfaatkan MOSFET. Penelitian awal digunakan ISFET sebagai pendeteksi derajat keasamaan, seiring perkembangan teknologi digunakan EGFET sebagai media pendeteksi pH. Karena kelebihan dari EGFET yang lebih stabil dan tahan terhadap gangguan dari luar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui performansi dari sensor pH berbasis Gold-EGFET dengan tingkat ketebalan lapisan membrane sensor yang berbeda pada pengukuran menggunakan pH buffer yang berbeda. Penelitian ini akan menguji tingkat sensitivitas dan linearitas dari pengukuran pH dengan ketebalan lapisan deteksi dari membrane sensor. ABSTRACT Many researchers have developed various types of biosensors, one of which is a pH sensor utilizing MOSFET. Initial research used ISFET as a detector of the degree of acidity, along with technological developments used EGFET as a pH detection medium because the advantages of EGFET are more stable and resistant to outside interference. This study aims to determine the performance of a Gold-EGFET-based pH sensor with a different level of membrane sensor thickness on measurements using different pH buffers. This study will test the sensitivity and linearity of the pH measurement with the thickness of the detection layer of the sensor membrane.

Abstract

The use of interactive learning media in the pandemic period is deemed necessary to be developed better, besides being able to increase the desire to learn from students who already feel bored just doing learning at home, interactive modules are considered more effective in delivering material. However, there are still many kindergarten teachers who are not optimal in applying interactive modules. This is because there is still rarely counseling or training in making interactive modules. So, it is necessary for counseling to be carried out by lecturers from Electronic Engineering who in the process will be assisted by students to introduce and teach the process of making to the application of augmented reality modules that can be used as interactive learning media for early childhood. It is hoped that after the counseling is held, learning media using augmented reality can be applied to subjects that require 3D visuals in delivering material.

Abstract

Watches are wearable devices that support human activities as timepieces. There are two types of watches based on their source driving energy: the quartz type, which uses a battery, and the automatic mechanical type, which uses a mechanical mechanism to convert the kinetic energy obtained when the clock is used as the energy to drive the hands. Automatic mechanical type watches have a time limit of 48 hours or two days until the energy turns off and the time stop. Therefore, a watch winder is needed to make movements to keep the automatic watch running while not in use. So, users can use their watch again without the need to adjust the time, date and other functions. The watch winder produced in this study employs a stepper motor that is controlled by an ESP32 microcontroller via a ULN2003 motor driver integrated circuit (IC). This type of stepper motor is used because it has a high rotor rotation precision to prevent the clock from over-winding problems. This watch winder device also has a watch condition monitoring feature through application-based temperature and humidity parameters. Users can monitor the condition of their watch and control the dial of the watch winder’s modules through the integrated application.
