Abstract

The purpose of study is to compare the increase in mathematical creative thinking ability between students who learn to get a mind mapping model based on optimizing right brain function and Problem Based Learning models. The research method used was a quasi experiment in the form of the pretest post-test two treatment design. The study population was seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Kuningan with sampling using purposive sampling technique.The research instrument used in the form of the test instrument and non-test.The results showed that: (1) there are differences in mathematical creative thinking ability among students who get mind mapping model based on optimization of right brain function and model of Problem Based Learning; (2) there is a difference of improvement of mathematical creative thinking ability between students who get mind mapping model based on optimization of right brain function and model of Problem Based Learning; (3) The average percentage of student responses shows that almost half of the students showed interest in the mind mapping model based on optimization right brain function and the Problem Based Learning model.

Abstract

This type of research is a development or RD which aims to produce a product in the form of quadrilateral learning media based on Adobe Flash CS6 with a valid Contextual Teaching and Learning approach ti facilitate the mathematical connection ability. This study is the research, development model of plomp with consist of three phase is preliminary research, prototyping phase and assessment phase. The instrument used to data collection in this study were questionnaire of epert validation learning media. The device develoved was validated by three validators including two lecture and one teacher junior high school. From the resulting validation data the average score from three validator is 3,4 which means that the learning media is in the valid category with the value obtained is B which means that the learning media can be used with a little revision

Abstract

AbstractThis article examines the development of economic  mathematics learning materials based on learning cycle assisted by GeoGebra software to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study: 1) Obtaining the economic mathematics teaching materials developed in according with the principle of model learning cycle 5E; 2) Obtaining the developed economic mathematics material meets the valid and practical criteria; 3) Obtaining the mathematical materials of the developed mathematics economy can improve student learning outcomes. Stages or procedure research development that is requirement analysis; product development (teaching materials); expert validation and product revision; small-scale field trials. The results obtained in this study: 1) have developed economic mathematics learning materials based on learning cycle assisted GeoGebra software 2) Based on the validator's assessment, economic mathematics based on based learning cycle assisted GeoGebra software in good category with percentage of idealization of 77.96%. 3) Based on field trials, teaching materials that are developed the economic mathematics learning materials based on learning cycle assisted GeoGebra software can improve student learning outcomes. Improved student learning outcomes using economic mathematics learning materials based on learning cycle assisted GeoGebra software is better than students who do not use economic mathematics learning materials based on learning cycle assisted GeoGebra software. Keywords : Learning Outcomes, Learning Cycle, Economic Mathematics, Development of Teaching Materials, GeoGebra Software

Abstract

This study aims to develop mathematics learning tools for linear programming materials based on problem based learning assisted by GeoGebra Android to increase the mathematical problem solving skills of students and to find out the validity of learning tools. Developed learning tools consist of modules, worksheets, and evaluation tools. This development research refers to the Plomp development model consisting of 3 phases, preliminary phase, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The subjects of the study consisted of 3 validators. The instruments of the study consisted of validation sheets and learning tools in the form of modules, worksheets, and evaluation tools. The data collection technique used was expert validation sheets. The developed learning media were validated by 3 validators consisting of 2 lecturers and 1 teacher. The data analysis technique used was by searching the average of each aspect in the validation sheet so that the average total validator assessment was obtained for each learning tools. Based on the results of learning tools validation, it was obtained the average score of module validation of 4.04 (valid), worksheet validation of 4.18 (valid), and evaluation tool validation of 4.17 (valid). Based on the validator assessment, the results of the study were obtained that developed learning tools are stated valid.

Abstract

The study aims to develop learning devices through an open-ended approach in square material. The learning devices developed consist of student modules and lesson plan (RPP). This study is the research, development model of Plomp with consist of three stages: preliminary research phase, prototype phase and assessment phase. Techniques of data collection that used were pretest and posttest questions, questionnaire  of expert validation and questionnaire of student response. The device developed was validated by three validators then conducted a limited trial. From the resulting validation data the average score of student module is 4.33 (valid), the average RPP score is 4.29 (valid). The validator statement against both learning devices developed is usable with little revision and without revision and the student's response to the learning device  was positive (practical). The increase of students ' creative thinking capability of N-Gain of 0.67 with moderate upgrade category. The results of the study were obtained that the device was developed is valid, practical, and can improve creative thinking ablity.
