Abstract

Adanya pandemi covid 19 memaksa pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan pembelajaran daring. Hal ini tentu akan berpengarus signifikan pada pemanfaatan dan pengalokasian biaya pendidikan yang telah dianggarkan dan dituangkan dalam Rencana Kerja Sekolah baik pada RKAS yang bersumber dari dana BOS maupun dana Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan yang bersumber dari orang tua siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat secara langsung pemanfaatan dana pendidikan selama masa covid 19 apakah sudah efektif dan efisien. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh dari 24 kepala sekolah bendaraha pada SMA di kabupaten Mandailing Natal tahun 2021 dengan menyebarkan angket melalui google format dan wawancara. Ditemukan bahwa sekolah tidak mempersiapkan diri secara maksimal untuk memanfaatkan dana secara efektif dan efisien. Hal ini juga tidak terlepas dari ketidakpastian sampai kapan berakhir pembelajaran daring karena informasi yang berubah-ubah (tergantung status daerah masing-masing berdasarkan level kedaruratan) tentang jadwal pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas dan adaptasi kehidupan baru. Namun pengalokasian biaya pendidikan di setiap sekolah memenuhi 8 Standar Nasional Pendidikan walapun pengalokasian tiap SNP tidak merata karena kebutuhan berbeda. Adanya pengalihan pembiayaan dari RKAS yang telah disusun diawal tahun karena adanya perubahan sistem pembelajaran dan perubahan juknis BOS. Pengalihan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, penggandaan soal ujian ditiadakan atu dikurangi dan dialihkan pada kegiatan pemeliharaan dan penggantian, pembelian alat dan bahan kesehatan seperti thermogun, handsanitizer, masker dan disinfektan. Pembiayaan selama pandemi Covid-19 secara umum mengalami perubahan yang cukup signifikan dalam hal pengalokasian bukan pada jumlah dana yang dikeluar. Pada masa normal ada estrakurikuler pramuka, ekstrakurikuler olahraga dan kegiatan OSIS dialihkan menjadi dana pemeliharaan dan penggantian. Biaya langganan dan jasa seperti listrik mengalami penurunan tapi muncul biaya baru seperti paket data bagi guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Biaya pengembangan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan juga mengalami kenaikan karena adanya pengembangan kompetensi yang diikuti guru secara daring.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the difference in education financing in education financing during the pandemic and after the pandemic in Deli Serdang Junior High School. The four schools that are the location of this research are SMPN 3 Lubuk Pakam, SMPN 1 Tanjung Morawa, SMPN 3 Labu Beach, and Maitreyawira Junior High School. This study is comparative descriptive research. The informant of the study is the principal and treasurer of the school. The data collection method used is in the form of online instrument filling and telephone interviews. The results showed that the financing of education at Junior High School in Deli Serdang Regency already followed national education financing standards. It was also found that there was no significant difference in the cost of education in the pandemic period and after the pandemic. Financing in Public Schools still comes from one source, namely BOS funds, while education financing in private schools comes from the contribution of foundations and SPP students

Abstract

The success of character education is part of the policy, program planning system and internal quality assurance. In practice, these policies often require further action to address the problem. The quality assurance of character education has not been able to be implemented optimally due to weak budget adequacy, not yet optimal practice of research and development, information systems, and teacher human resources. The aims of this study were to (1) describe and analyze the implementation of character education policies, (2) develop a hypothetical model of the internal quality assurance system for character education at SMP Riad Madani, SMP Baitul Aziz, and SMP Pusaka. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with case studies. Data were collected using purposive sampling technique and data were analyzed using constructionist analysis. The results of the study show that education policies are prepared based on the vision and goals of schools with different characteristics and programs. SMP Riad Madani prioritizes independence and personality, SMP Pusaka prioritizes tolerance, and SMP Baitul Aziz prioritizes religious values.

Abstract

One of the strategies to improve teachers' skills and professionalism is the practice of continuous professional development. To fulfill the demands of students and learning in the 21st century, teachers must have a strong foundation and knowledge of ongoing professional development. However, a-business-as-usual continuous professional development does not contribute to any significant improvements for teachers of junior high school in Pematangsiantar. The objective of this research was to develop a management model for teachers’ continuous development. This is carried out through competency-based training with a heutagogy approach. A development model called ADDIE, which stands for Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation was used to develop the management model. The subject of this research was 80 junior high school students in Pematangsiantar. They were divided into 30 and 50 people for the limited trial and the broad trial, respectively. Questionnaires were distributed as the instrument of data collection. The data was then analyzed using a statistical descriptive analysis technique. The research found that the effectiveness of the competency-based training management model was measured by the N-Gain score, in which the G-value was 0.79 and 0.82 for limited trial and broad trial, respectively, which was in the high category. The results of the assessment of the effectiveness of the model obtained an average value of 94%, which was in the "very good" category. The effectiveness of the training program was assessed from the aspects of reactions, learning, behavior, and results, and the results show that the assessment of the classroom action research training program obtained an average score of 92%, or a very good category, which means that the classroom action research training program is very effective in improving teachers’ competence. Abstract

Data obtained from dapodik as many as 934 high schools throughout Indonesia that provide education with dormitory services. The proliferation of boarding schools is inseparable from the quality of education provided by the school. Until today, there is no quality standard for boarding schools because each school has its own peculiarities / characteristics and is no exception at SMAN 2 Plus Panyabungan mandailing Natal regency, North Sumatra. In this study using qualitative descriptive method. Data collection using documentation and literature techniques. Data analysis goes through several stages, namely data reduction, display data, and conclusion/verification. The results of this study show that: 1) The mapping of the quality of education carried out by boarding schools varies greatly but still refers to the National Education Standards; 2) Making a quality improvement plan as outlined in the School Work Plan in accordance with the excellence of boarding schools; 3) Implementation of quality fulfillment both in school management and the learning process in boarding schools using the government curriculum and parenting curriculum; 4) Monitoring and evaluating the process of implementing quality fulfillment in terms of the characteristics of boarding schools; 5) Setting new standards and developing quality improvement strategies based on the results of monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of internal and external environmental analysis in Strategic Management at SMPN 1 Laubaleng, North Sumatra Province. The external environment and the internal environment have a fairly important role in decision-making efforts to realize the school's vision and mission. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods by utilizing data in the form of documents, observations and interviews. In addition, literature studies are also used to support existing theories. SMPN 1 Laubaleng has 566 students, consisting of 242 male students and 324 female students, meanwhile, there are 31 teachers, with 18 classrooms. This represents great potential in the region to advance education. There are still many weaknesses in utilizing the results of internal and external environmental analysis, this can be seen in the still not optimal quality of education at SMPN 1 Laubaleng.

Abstract

The management function is the function of managing organizational components to achieve goals effectively and efficiently. Plans must be made to achieve the goals set. The existence of a plan encourages the implementation of organizational activities to achieve goals. Planning is the starting point of all activities, while the strategy is how we do something to achieve the goals that have been set. A strategic plan is a plan that is carried out to achieve the goals of the organization, the hope of which is from choosing a strategy to realizing the goal of obtaining a lot of problem solving so that the error rate that may occur is smaller. In this study, the authors used a descriptive method. The population in this study were educators and support staff at SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar and used saturated sampling where the entire population was sampled. One of the techniques in making strategic planning is to carry out a SWOC analysis. The results of the analysis of internal and external factors greatly influence the life processes of organizations and educational institutions. Internal factors are factors within the organization/institution. Good communication by managers and employees creates a pleasant work environment.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTeknologi kelistrikan motor terdiri dari sistem starter, sistem pengapian dan sistem pengisian. Setiap sistem kelistrikan motor akan mengalami permasalahan sejala lamanya waktu dan cara pemakaian, tidak terkecuali pada sistem starter motor Bensin dan Diesel. Permasalahan yang lazim terjadi adalah motor starter performennya menjadi kurang, sehingga tidak dapat memutarkan flywheel motor tersebut kembali. Permasalahan tersebut terjadi pada sistem starter tipe konvensional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kuat arus listrik terhadap momen puntir pada motor starter tipe konvensional, dan mengetahui daya yang dihasilkan oleh motor starter tipe konvensional. Hasil analisis dan perhitungan pada sistem starter tipe konvensional adalah semakin besar kuat arus listrik yang dialirkan maka momen puntir yang dihasilkan semakin besar, hasil perhitungan daya input ke motor starter adalah 1,2 Kw yang akan menghasilkan daya output sebesar 0,9 Kw dengan nilai effesisensi daya sebesar 75 %, dan kuat arus yang digunakan untuk dapat menghidupkan motor, adalah arus listrik mengalir 100 A dengan tegangan 12 V dan torsi 3,28 Nm.Kata kunci: Motor starter Konvensional, Kuat arus, momen puntir, Effisiensi Daya Output dan Input

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pendekatan komunikasi humas sekolah di era digitalisasi. Saat ini kita sudah memasuki era digital, namun dalam kenyataannya humas sekolah belum mendigitalisasi sarana komunikasinya sehingga tidak diminati. Metode penelitian dalam artikel ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yakni penulis mendeskripsikan transformasi Humas Sekolah di era digital dengan referensi dari buku/artikel/studi kepustakaan dan membandingkan dengan humas di SMA Deli Murni Baru. Hasil dari artikel ini ditemukan bahwa pendekatan Humas di era digital adalah mendayagunakan sarana komunikasi sekolah sehingga informasi yang disampaikan cepat diterima oleh orang tua, peserta didik, dan masyarakat.
