Abstract

Building design is one of the right ways of the building which get the hope of the comfortable building, radiant building and it’ ll have get peaced on it, The right step begins in the design. of the building. Meunasah Al – Istiqamah, is a place of worship for the people’s residents of Dusun 3 Suak Ribee. Which Earthquake-prone areas, in the implementation of development are highly recommended to refer to building standardization, especially SNI. 1726-2013 and The reinforced concrete standardization refers to SNI 2847:2013. The method of implementing community service activities (PKM) is carried out for 3 (three) months. This PkM wants to be fostered in the process of building Meunasah Al Istiqamah accordance with of the community hopeness and the outcomes of building construction according to the required standards. Provide understanding to the community and workers with work methods in accordance with technical specifications for buildings, referring to existing standards, assisting communities in accommodating the amount of development costs in accordance with the specified design. The desired output for the surrounding community is the occurrence of a community culture to build according to technical specifications, planning the construction of public facilities exactly according to the plan. The results obtained are that the design has been carried out by producing both 2D and 3D design drawings with the concept of the comfortable buildings

Abstract

Potensi limbah Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit  (TKKS) yang pemanfaatannya kurang maksimal, sehingga terbuang secara sia-sia akan dapat tertanggulangi dengan inovasi mengubah menjadi produk yang bermanfaat. Komposit yang terbentuk dua fasa yaitu fasa metriks dan fasa penguat untuk menghasilkan rekayasa material yang baru. Resin merupakan salah satu sebagai matriks dan tandan kosong kelapa sawit adalah sebagai penguat. Penelitian ini adalah Pembuatan Papan Komposit dengan ukuran 100 x 300 mm untuk dapat mengetahui hasil dari pada campuran resin dan tandan kosong kelapa sawit, Papan serat komposit terbentuk dengan kondisi getas dan kaku. Dalam Proses pembuatan komposit terdapat, penuangan secara langsung, tanpa pemampatan atau tekanan.

Abstract

Mesin panen padi dua lajur yang telah di rancang bangun pada penelitian sebelumnya belum memiliki roda penggerak, maka pada penelitian ini pada mesin panen padi tersebut dilakukan modifikasi dengan menambahkan roda penggerak dan dilakukan uji kemampuan gerak pada roda tersebut. Roda penggerak didesain dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak dengan merujuk kepada literatur, fabrikasi dilakukan mengikuti gambar desain dan pengujian dilakukan pada lintasan media tanah rata kering, pengujian dengan beban 40 kg, 80 kg, 120 kg pada putaran mesin 3500 rpm, 5250 rpm dan 7000 rpm dengan jarak lintasan sejauh 50 meter. Hasil penelitian adalah telah didesain dan difabrikasi satu unit roda penggerak mesin panen padi dengan spesifikasi diameter roda penggerak 21 cm, jumlah mata sirip 12, panjang mata sirip 14 cm, lebar mata sirip 3,5 cm dan sudut kemiringan sirip 600 . Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa roda penggerak mesin panen padi telah berfungsi dengan baik untuk lahan kering dengan beban maksimum 80 kg.

Abstract

The potential waste of empty fruit bunches palm oil (TKKS) that pure of utilization, so unusefull things. The composite combine Two phase that is the phase matrix and the reinforced phase. Polyester resin is one of the matrix and empty fruit bunches of oil palm as an reinforced. This case is Composite Board Test with a specimen size of 55 x 10 x 10 mm using impact test to be able to know the hardness result of resin mixture and empty fruit bunch palm oil, Composite fiber board is formed with brittle and rigid condition. In the composite test process using the impact test apparatus, the steps of the test there are lifting the pendulum up to 140 degrees by turning counterclockwise, positioning the specimen at the pedestal completely in the middle position, where the knife in the specimen pendulum parallel to the locked pendulum should be pressed on the brake pedal, Pull the pendulum lock or release to swing and break the specimen, Brake pedal is released to stop pendulum, View and record the test data result that indicated by the needle pointer on the arc, the final results shown average impact value is 0.467 J / mm2. In the Horizontal direction the results Average 0.491 J / mm2, highest Vertical direction value 0.480 J / mm2, and Horizontal direction 0,506 J / mm2Keywords : oil palm empty fruit bunch waste, economical products, compressive strenght of the material

Abstract

Development of energy especially alternative energy and renewables continue to be encouraged, one of which is becoming the trend of the world today is focused towards the development of solar energy. The optimum angle of tilt of the photovoltaic panel is one of the deciding factor against the acceptance of the amount of solar radiation in the amountof the maximum, so that will affect the power output of a photovoltaic panel. Method of calculation of the Altitude angle is a way to find out the optimum height of the positions of the Sun, and these factors influence the position of the slope of the surface of the panel sector in the region, so by knowing the position of the right angle of the Sun will be able to obtain the maximum amount of radiation against photovoltaic panels. Adjustment of the angle of the slope against the monthly solar panels in the region of Meulaboh is affected by the angle of altitude. January and March, the optimum angle value starts from 35,54 ° to  12,39°. April does not occur, because of the angle position  of the panel surface horizontal is same. May to December, the orientation of the panel turned south-facing surface of the panel with face down which is characterized by a negative notation.

Abstract

The case studies in the field, especially in the districts of Aceh Barat, if the shaft has been used fracture, then largely reconnected by means of welded, through welding without considering the type of groove welds suitable for welded joints pivot, so that its power will be lower and the life of the shaft becomes shorter. This study aims to determine the type of groove welds suitable for metal welding carbon steels are used and sold in the market town of Meulaboh, and estimate the maximum load permitted to work on the shaft so that the expected life of the shaft becomes longer, and see the pattern of fractures that occur on the surface shaft. Testing is done for 3 specimens a double groove welds V, 3 specimens double groove U and without welds 6 specimens in accordance with ASTM E-466. The results showed that specimens with a double weld groove U have a better fatigue strength compared with the double-groove weld V. fatigue limit (endurance limit) 85.83 MPa carbon steel. The pattern of the specimen surface faulting on the double U groove weld area deformed by the signs of the beach (beach mark) towards the center of the surface of the specimen (weld center) fracture pattern on the specimen surface area double V groove welds undergo large deformations on the outskirts of surface spesimen. Abstract

Abstrak: Bulldoser adalah alat berat yang sering digunakan untuk meratakan tanah, pasir, kerikil, dan material lain dengan daya dorong atau tenaga yang tinggi. Bulldozer memiliki komponen yang terletak di bagian bawah alat berat undercarriage yang berfungsi sebagai media penggerak saat berpindah dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keausan undercarriage segmen sprocket bulldozer Komatsu D85bESS-2. Analisis data dilakukan di PT. Wirataco Mitra Mulia. Periode penelitian dimulai dari Desember 2021 hingga Januari 2022. Keausan ini sering terjadi ketika bushing bersentuhan dengan sproket segmen gigi. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bulldozer selama 160 jam memiliki tingkat keausan sebesar 11,3%, untuk 320 jam memiliki tingkat keausan sebesar 19,56%, dan untuk penggunaan selama 480 jam memiliki tingkat keausan sebesar 31,3%. Sedangkan penggunaan segmen sprocket adalah 1.533 jam.

Abstract

The spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) outbreak in all parts of the world is increasing, including in Indonesia, a virus that is easily transmitted and spreads through close contact and droplets by touching hands with other people or with objects that have been exposed to COVID-19, one of the reasons for this, reventing the spread of COVID 19 by washing hands frequently with soap. Hand washing tools have been developed, generally still using direct touch to the water tap and soap dish, the Touchless Hand Washer (THW) touchless hand washing tool is specially designed and manufactured in accordance with the COVID-19 pandemic conditions without touching with hands directly on the water tap and a soap holder with a footrest system, making it more practical, hygienic and not directly contaminated with previous Touchless Hand Washer users which could cause COVID-19 transmission from previous users. Touchless Hand Washer (THW) is designed with a pyramid-shaped frame that will support the water toren that does not harm or the water toren falls for Touchless Hand Washe users, with a THW tool height of 120 cm, top width 70 x 70 cm and bottom width of 90 x 90 cm. Keywords—Hand-washing tool, COVID-19, washing hands, touchless hand washer

Abstract

Calculation of ship resistance can be done using mathematical calculations. The value of the ship's resistance is needed to determine the power of the ship's main engine, which is formed from the shape of the hull itself. This research is designed to obtain a model using naval architecture software. From the cargo ship model, it will then be calculated to produce the required value of resistance and ship power. The method used in the calculation uses the Compton Method. The maximum speed of the cargo ship is 12.5 knots, resulting in a resistance value of 309.8 Kn with a power of 2671,370 Hp.
