Abstract

Rectangular bump merupakan salah satu jenis pengganggu atau turbulator dengan tujuan mengganggu aliran supaya aliran menjadi turbulen lebih awal sebelum daerah recirculaion flow. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai fenomena aliran yang melewati backward facing step setelah dilakukan penambahan rectangular bump didepan daerah recirculation. Rectangular bump ditempakan dengan jarak yang berbeda (s/d = 0,5 dan s/d = 2) dengan harapan bisa memprediksi Reattachmen lenght, menghitung nilai Coefficient pressure (Cp) dan Skin friction coefficient (Cf). Penelitian dilakukan secara numerik menggunakan perangkat lunak Computational Fluid Dinamics (CFD) komersial. Dengan memilih berbagai model turbulensi, yaitu model Standard k- (SKE), model Realisable k- (RKE), model Standard k-???? (SKW) dan model Shear-Stress-Transport (SST) k-???? (SSTKW). Abstract

Which more lower deficit of fossil energy for generated power plant, in order to need to do wind power generation plant analysis based on renewable energy which is wind turbine horizontal type. This study is analyzing a power system with electric power load for Teuku Umar University by using a hybrid power generation system which HOMER between wind turbines and diesel generators. Wind resources are used is measured by BMKG Meulaboh Station, which is 6 m/s. The results of the simulation is given by the value of the Net Present Cost (NPC) and the lowest, in the amount of $43,686,940, Cost of Energy (COE) is 16.993 $/kWh for the value of Renewable Factor (RF) was 40% and for the value of Renewable Factor (RF), the largest at 58%, the value of the Net Present Cost (NPC) amounted to $ 68,091,256 and Cost of Energy (COE) is 16.993 $/kWh. Abstract

Abstract

 Environmental pollution that can cause atmospheric corrosion is the exhaust gas (exhaust fumes) generated from operating the palm oil industry. This atmospheric corrosion will reduce the volume and material mass of a machine component, so that if it reaches certain conditions the strength of the material will result in failure of industrial machine components. The corrosion rate of the construction steel can be measured using the weight loss method according to the ASTM G-50 standard and the ASTM G-1 standard. The research was conducted for one year and data collection was taken every month, the research location was at PT Agro Sinergi Nusantara Batee Puteh. The results of the study, the highest corrosion rate occurred in strip steel reaching 0.57 mpy in October and the lowest corrosion rate occurred for angled steel in September and cylindrical steel in May with a corrosion rate of 0.06 mpy. Keywords— atmospheric corrosion, palm oil industry, ASTM G-50, ASTM G-1, corrosion rate

Abstract

Abstract Coconut plantations reach more than 106 hectares of the 831 thousand hectares of plantation areas in Aceh. Meanwhile, the total production reached 63 thousand tons with a productivity level of 818 kilograms per hectare. Most of it is still traditionally produced to produce coconut milk from these coconuts. The design of the coconut milk production machine has been carried out and before it is used a vibration test must be carried out to determine the operational feasibility of the machine. This study aims to measure the vibration level of the centrifugal tube frame for the coconut milk production machine with a centrifugal system capacity of 10 L / hour. The test was carried out at three levels of motor rotation, namely 1000 rpm, 1500 rpm and 2000 rpm with repeated measurements carried out five times at each motor rotation speed, the measurement results were compared with ISO 2631-1 standards and Kepmenaker number KEP-51 / MEN / I999. The results showed that testing the vibration of a coconut milk production machine with a centrifugal system with a capacity of 10 L / hour stated that it was safe if it was operated for less than 4 hours for a motor rotating speed of 1000 rpm, for a motor rotating speed of 1500 rpm it was safe to use if it was operated for less than 3 hours, while for rotation 2000 rpm motor is good and comfortable to use for less than 2 hours. Keywords— centrifugal tube, coconut squeezer, SO 2631-1, KEP–51/MEN/I999

Abstract

PT. Beurata Subur Peusada ialah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan minyak kelapa sawit (PMKS).Untuk mendapatkan produksi minyak kelapa sawit  yang berkualitas dan bermutu maka harus di dukung dengan mesin produksi yang baik. terutama pada alat berat yang banyak mengalami kendala, karena di pengaruhi usia mesin yang sudah berumul lebih dari 10 tahun. Roller berperan buat menopang berat dari excavator serta track pad pada undercarriage. Analisa ini bertujuan buat mengenali tipe kehancuran, aspek pemicu kehancuran, mengenali langkah perawatan serta revisi pada roller Excavator HITACHI ZAXIS 200E. Prosedur pengecekan dicoba dengan melaksanakan performance test yang terdiri dari thermogun test pada tiap bagian komponen undercarriage. Pengecekan pula dicoba secara visual pada undercarriage serta roller. Berikutnya dicoba analisa tipe kehancuran pada roller serta sudah dikenal aspek pemicu rusakannya roller pada excavator. Hasil analisa kehancuran pada roller, ada 2 tipe kehancuran pada roller ialah; yang awal: terjalin kehancuran pada bagian luar komponen roller yang diakibatkan oleh tanah yang melekat serta membeku menyebabkan keausan permukaan pada roller, yang kedua: terjalin kehancuran pada bagian dalam roller diakibatkan oleh floating seal yang di pasang terjalin kebocoran oli menyebabkan keausan bushing serta shaft akibat gesekan. Permasalahan serta kehancuran bisa di mengurangi dengan mempraktikkan perawatan yang pas pada roller semacam mensterilkan saat sebelum merakitnya. Perihal yang berarti merupakan senantiasa bilas serta mengubah pelumas dari roller serta pula zona kerja pula wajib bersih.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the basic concept of strengthening children’s independence within the paradigm of Islamic education. Specifically, this study focuses on the child's self-reliance factors, the method, and the benefits of strengthening children’s independence according to the concept of Islamic education. We argue that self-independence is important for children future life. It affects the mentality and the quality of upbringing that determines the ability of the child. Parents should be able to build and ensure that the parental values are infused within children belief system as a capital in their next life. Among the many methods of strengthening children's independence are Targhipand Tarhib. These methods is generally about letting the child to take part in the decision making process.

Abstract

PT. Socfindo is an industry engaged in the processing of Fresh Palm Fruit Bunches into crude palm oil or CPO (Crude Palm Oil). the day in the morning, therefore it is necessary to identify the presence of machine components that are prone to damage (critical components) and special actions are needed to take special actions against critical parts on the machine, by practicing the Predictive Maintenance Program or prevention. Simulation techniques, often known as Monte Carlo simulations, estimate reliability using random sampling of scenarios. Failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) is defined as a process used to determine the actions that should be taken to ensure that each physical item or system can run properly according to the intended use by the user. Based on the information obtained, the RPN value of the Rubber Coupling Bush is 18, the RPN value of the Worm Screw is 126, the RPN value of the Press Cage is 72, the Adjusting Cone RPN value is 108, the Tie Rod Nut RPN value is 15, the Drive Shaft RPN value is 168, the Bearing RPN value is 12, the Motor Base RPN value is 15.

Abstract

General cargo ship is a ship that carries various kinds of cargo in the form of goods. Goods that are transported are usually packaged goods. General cargo ships are equipped with cargo cranes to make loading and unloading easier. In this design the hull design is planned. The main size of the ship was obtained using a regression comparison method based on data from 2 comparison vessels obtained from the Korea Register of Shipping (KRS). From the main dimensions obtained, a line plan and hydrostatic analysis is carried out according to the IMO standard. From the planning results obtained for ships with a capacity of 17000 DWT obtained ship dimensions with length over all (LOA) 153.45 m, length between prependiculars (LBP) 144.24 m, Length on load waterline (LWL) 147.85 m, width (B ) 25.27 m, height (H) 13.5 m, loaded (T) 9.52 m, speed (Vs) 14.75 knots, block coefficient (Cb) 0.7, midship coefficient (Cm) 0.79 , waterline coefficient (Cw) 0.81, horizontal prismatic coefficient (Cph) 0.91, vertical prismatic coefficient (Cpv) 0.89, volume 25520.5 m3. This comparison ship method makes it easy for ship designers with accurate results.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a type of deadly virus that infects the human respiratory tract.  Therefore, all activities must follow the health protocols follow published by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, such as social distancing, wearing masks and washing hands. The aim of this empowering community programme is to give the reinforcement for the Suak Indrapuri community that conducted routinity at coastal environment. In other hand, we also provided the touchless hand washer assistance to make it easier for people to do health protocols. This study which is a part of community service activity was conducted by using the lecture/mentoring method. The output of the activity is an increase of public awareness to always follow health protocols to every activity. The activity received a positive response from the local community. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the community in participating in this community service activity.
