Abstract

Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) is a well-known method to analyze the flow of acoustic and vibration energy in a complex structure. This study investigates the application of the corrected SEA model in a non-reverberant acoustic space where the direct  field component from the sound source dominates  the total  sound  field rather than  a diffuse field in a reverberant space which the  classical SEA model assumption is based on. A corrected SEA model is proposed where the direct ?eld component in the energy is removed and the power injected in the subsystem considers only the remaining power after the loss at ?rst re?ection.  Measurement is conducted a box divided into two rooms separated by a partition with an opening where the condition of reverberant and non-reverberant can conveniently be controlled. In the case of a non-reverberant space where acoustic material was installed inside the wall of the experimental box, the signals are corrected by eliminating the direct ?eld component in the measured impulse response. Using the corrected SEA model, comparison of the coupling loss factor (CLF) with the theory shows good agreement.

Abstract

Rice harvesting machines that can be operated in swampy, peatland, narrow and can be operated and maintained by farmers, can be considered for design, some previous research has been carried out, including a two-lane mini rice harvester with a performance of 20.33 hours per hectare and has been in manufacturing and in performance tests. Experimental studies on engine performance were carried out in this research. This research uses 2x50 watt peak polycrystalline solar panels connected to a 12 volt 45 AH battery, the battery will drive a 50 watt electric motor. Current and voltage measurements are carried out on the solar panel and battery when in condition, first the solar panel is connected to the battery and not connected to the electric motor, the second solar panel is connected to the battery and connected to the electric motor, the three solar panels are not connected to the battery and the battery is connected to electric motor. The results of the first condition study indicate that the electric current will be more stable using a new battery, when compared to using a battery in the previous study. The second condition was that the performance of the two-lane mini rice harvester increased by 50% when compared to the performance of an electric motor using a battery that was not connected to a solar panel. The third condition shows the performance of the electric motor has increased by up to 300% when compared with the results of previous studies, it is estimated that the electric motor will continue to rotate for up to 8-10 hours

Abstract

Forging is a metal processing process by changing its shape in a hot state with a punch system. Some of the forging products produced by the blacksmith industry such as machetes, knives, hoes, dodos, household, agricultural, and equipment for agricultural and plantation products. But now the existence of the blacksmith industry has begun to fade because of the proliferation of manufactured products. The traditional blacksmith business that was pioneered in the village of Blang Berdang, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency, Pande Besi UDM Service. Regency. West Aceh. which has been passed on to the third generation which is managed from generation to generation to get the iron processing skills obtained from his parents. the use of this tool to facilitate the community in the productivity of blacksmiths technologically in West Aceh. The results of iron forging can increase marketing and promotion for their work so that the product can be accepted by traditional and modern markets. From the description above, it is necessary to manufacture a Pneumatic Power Forging Hammer Machine to Increase the Productivity of Traditional Blacksmiths in West Aceh and assistance in Product Promotion so that their products can be sold throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

Noise standards on a machine are very important to consider before the machine is produced, because it can cause discomfort to the operator and damage hearing function. The noise standard has been set by OSHA, the maximum noise threshold value of 85 dB is considered safe for most workers when working 8 hours / day. The coconut milk production machine with a capacity of 10 liters per hour was carried out by measuring the noise level which aims to determine whether the machine meets the noise standard criteria. The test was carried out at three levels of motor rotation, namely 1000 rpm, 1500 rpm, 2000 rpm with a noise measuring distance of 0.5 meters from the component parts of the electric motor and centrifugal tube using a sound level meter. The results of measurements of noise levels on electric motors and centrifugal tubes of coconut milk production machines with a capacity of 10 liters per hour can be concluded that the noise level value of the production machine meets the noise standard level required by OSHA 1978, where the maximum production machine noise level is at 75 dB while that which is implied by OSHA 1978 maximum is at 85 dB. Keywords— OSHA standards, electric motor, centrifugal tube, noise test

Abstract

Mesin Penyangrai kelapa kukur (U Neuleu) adalah mesin yang digunakan untuk melakukan  proses sangrai dengan cara penggorengan tanpa menggunakan minyak dan tangan manusia. Desain alat akan menjelaskan bagaimana proses menggambar bagian-bagian dari alat yang akan di  rancangan oleh karna itu perlu persiapan yang  matang untung mendesain suatu alat agar waktu proses pembuatan nya tidak akan terjadi kesalahan dimana  nanti nya waktu pembuatan alat harus sesuai dengan gambar yang sudah di buat sebelumnya. Mesin sangrai ini bekerja secara Otomatis yang di kontrol mengunakan Adruino UNO untuk Rangkaian elektrikal menggunakan arduino untuk bisa mengatur waktu matinya motor DC saat melakukan penyangraian, pengontrolan waktu menghidupkan alat penyangrai sebagai otomasi yang mengurangi ketergantungan dari kontrol operator, bisa dilakukan dengan pengaturan waktu penyangrai sesuai dengan kematangan  U  Neuleu. Kata kunci:  mesin pneumatic power forging hammer, analisa kekuatan rangka, autodesk inventor 2017.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui emisi gas buang pada mesin motor Honda Supra X 125 Tahun 2006. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisa deskriptif. Bahan bakar yang digunakan adalah premium murni (kelompok standart) dan premium yang dicampur dengan bioetanol dengan variasi  E2,5, E5, dan E7,5 (kelompok eksperimen). Pengujian dilakukan pada putaran stasioner (1500 rpm), 3000 rpm sampai 8000 rpm dengan interval 500 rpm. Emisi yang diukur pada penelitian ini adalah kadar CO, kadar CO2, Kadar O2, HC dan Lambda (λ). Pengujian dilakukan di Laboratorium Motor Bakar Universitas Negeri Padang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan pengujian emisi gas buang Sepeda Motor Honda Supra X 125 Tahun 2006 menggunakan bahan bakar campuran bioetanol dari limbah nanas dan premium dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi CO2 menurunkan konsentrasi CO, HC dan O2 dibandingkan dengan bahan bakar premium murni pada putaran stasioner. Bahan bakar E5 merupakan variasi yang paling mereduksi emisi dibandingkan variasi bahan bakar yang lain. Pada putaran stasioner konsentrasi CO hanya 5,46% Vol, dan HC hanya 338 ppm.

Abstract

This study aims to calculate the risk value for complaints experienced by workers at the Jakarta City Park Service when moving the Alcon machine by calculating the REBA value and getting the results of A score A score is 10, a B score is 8 then the C score is 9 with a Mean Risk Level. Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan peradaban manusia, tingkat kebutuhan energi juga semakin meningkat. Pemenuhan energi dewasa ini masih didominasi oleh pembakaran bahan bakar fosil sedangkan energi yang berasal dari energi terbarukan masih terabaikan. Pembangkit listrik tenaga angin merupakan salah pembangkit listrik yang menggunakan sumber energi terbarukan yang banyak digunakan, karena sifat energi angin yang ramah lingkungan serta mudah dalam melakukan pengoperasian. Indonesia saat ini sedang mengalami krisis energi listrik karena kebutuhan energi listrik yang semakin besar akibat adanya pertumbuhan industri, peningkatan jumlah pemakaian alat elektronik rumah tangga, perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi, dan sebagainya. Aceh barat merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang terletak di Aceh dengan ibukota bernama Meulaboh. Aceh barat mempunyai letak menurut garis lintang dan bujur yaitu 04006’-04047’ Lintang Utara dan 95052’-96030’ Bujur Timur, dengan luas daerah 2.927,95 Km2 dan mempunyai 12 kecamatan serta 321 kampung. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan analisis mawar angin sebagai dasar prediksi daya angin dikota Meulaboh. Dari analisis didapatkan bahwa Mawar Angin tersebut memperlihatkan distribusi energi angin selama kurun waktu setahun dalam arah 3600. Arah angin maksimum terjadi pada arah 3000 dan distribusi terendah terjadi pada arah 800.

Abstract

Road lighting is important for transportation activities, especially at night. The design of this Hybrid plant has a working principle that is utilizing wind gusts from a passing vehicle to turn the turbine blade and the heat of solar radiation that is absorbed through the solar panel with the sun tracking system. Parameter data that influence in the design of Hybrid Generations are variations in the number of turbine blades, turbine angle, wind speed, turbine drive rotor height, density of air and heat of solar radiation. The purpose of the problem in Designing Hybrid VAWT generating systems with the optimal angle of the turbine and Solar Cell automatically to be able to meet the electrical energy requirements for street lighting. The research method used in design through three stages, namely literature review, Technical Design and preparation of work tools and materials. The design results show that the optimal type u vertical wind turbine for toll road lighting with 3 blades and an optimal angle size of 90 0C, rotor diameter of 400 mm, rotor height of 1000 mm for average wind speed of 13.9 m / s. and Average solar heat of 28 0C with an average panel temperature of 55.3 0C using the Timer switch as a solar tracking system. The design of the plant, produces turbine power of 0.93 V to 1.17 V at 122 rpm to 214 rpm. And the solar panel produces a panel voltage of 19.59 V and an average voltage on the battery of 14 V.
