Abstract

The use of technology in learning is highly demanded during the covid-19 pandemic and the development period of the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. The right learning model is a challenge that must be solved by educators. The LMS-assisted FGIL model was introduced as an appropriate model used for current and future learning. This development is a type of EDR (Educational Design Research) research with a plomp research model. Lecturers as expert review, and 12 students became the subject of research in this development research. The data obtained in the form of content validity data and media validity was processed using Aiken's V formula, while practicality data was processed with practical percent. Based on the results of the study obtained a value of V for content validity and media validity of 0.88; and 0.91; which is in the valid category. Then the practical results showed a value of 89.00% with a very practical category. So, it can be concluded that the model developed has been valid and practical so that it is worth using in learning

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit Indonesia has changed the learning process at every level of education including in universities, face-to-face learning that was previously carried out has turned into online learning, this is also what causes digital learning at this time to become a necessity. Flipped Learning Model - Guided Inquiry Learning (FGIL) is one of the learning models that can be applied to digital learning models. The type of research used is the educational design reservoir (EDR) which was developed using the plomp model. The subjects of this study consisted of lecturers from Padang State University and students studying general chemistry. The instrument used consists of a validity questionnaire, a practicality questionnaire. Validity data was obtained using Aiken's V formula and practicality data was obtained using the practicality percentage formula. Based on the research conducted, the media validation and content validity values were obtained respectively, while the practicality values obtained were, these results indicate that the FGIL model is valid and practical to use in the learning process

Abstract

Initial understanding is the ability to build early based on experience and knowledge possessed by using grammar that is still relevant to new knowledge. This study aims to explore the experience and knowledge of students to determine the initial understanding of the reaction rates topic. The method used is a questionnaire as a research instrument. In total, 100 students from SMA in Malang, East Java were selected using the purposive sampling method. From these questions, the types of questions are grouped based on alternative answers and sub-material questions and include 3 levels of representation, namely macroscopic, sub-microscopic, and symbolic. Then students' answers are presented and then the students' initial abilities are described following the answers given by students. In teaching and learning activities, students often encounter concepts of knowledge that are constructed independently by students so that when new knowledge is given, there are often differences in understanding or differences in concepts with actual information. The quantitative findings show that in general students' understanding of concepts is 'good', especially on the basic concepts of the reaction rate topic. However, in several sub-materials such as reaction orders, reaction order graphs, and chemical reaction equations in the reaction rate concept topic, there are still conceptual errors experienced by students so improvements and emphasis on concepts are needed in some of these sub-materials so the percentage of correct answers from students is greater from the previous.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of guided inquiry based student worksheet integrated with flipped classroom system on reaction rate material on students' ability to think critically. This is a further development research with the type of quasi experiment and research design Non-equivalent control group design. In this study, two sample classes were used, namely control class and experiment class with a total sample size of 71 people who were taken using purposive sampling technique. After conducting the research, it is known that the n-gain value for the control class is 0.3 and the experimental class is 0.57, the difference in n-gain value is inferred that there is a difference in treatment in the two sample classes on student critical thinking skills. Furthermore, for hypothesis testing, the ttable value is 1.995 and tcount value is 6.13. Based on the results of data analysis, it is concluded that the use of guided inquiry-based student worksheet integrated with the flipped classroom system is effective in enhancing student critical thinking skills

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0, teachers will deal with children who are very intense with gadgets or other technology. This is a challenge in the learning process. This article aims to produce a learning system with digital literacy based guided inquiry integrated flipped classroom using Discord application on thermochemistry and determining the validity and the practicality level. The study took six months to complete utilizing the Plomp Model and educational design research (EDR). The research steps carried out preliminary research and development of prototyping, this paper is limited to testing the validity and practicality of the developed learning system. The Subject of this research is lectures and teachers as expert review, and 9 students. Data on content and construct validity and practicality were analyzed using Aiken's V formula and practicality percent, respectively. Based on the study's findings, it was determined that the values of 0.84 for both construct and content validity fell into the category of being valid. Results that are practical, scoring 92% in the extremely practical category. Therefore, it was determined that the learning system created was genuine and usable so that its efficacy could be tested for future research

Abstract

By the Covid-19 pandemic which shows that students' interest in learning is decreasing and cause learning loss, the Ministry of Education and Culture is trying to restore learning given the difficulties that have arisen with launching an merdeka curriculum, the teachers and students need using learning tools as learning resources in accordance with the merdeka curriculum. This research aims to develop teaching materials to support merdeka curriculum learning on the solubility and solubility product in the F phase and reveal the validity and practicality developed. This type of research is development research using the Plomp model. This research is limited to the formation of a valid and practical prototype IV. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire of validation and practicality sheets. This study conducted a validity test using the Aiken's V formula and a practicality test using the practicality using the category of practicality level adaption from Purwanto. Validation was carried out by 5 experts, namely 3 lecturers and 2 chemistry teachers. The practicality sheet was filled in by 2 chemistry teachers and 9 Phase F students at SMAN 7 Padang. Also one to one evaluation by 3 students. The validity test data processing results are 0.89 which shows the valid category. For the results of data processing for the practicality test of students, namely 88% and the teacher's practicality test is 94% which shows a very practical category. It can be concluded that teaching materials to support merdeka curriculum learning on solubility and solubility product are valid and practical

Abstract

This research aims to produce an integrated flipped classroom learning system based on guided inquiry using Discord application on colloid material for first year students using the Plomp development model developed by Tjeerd Plomp. The research instrument used a validation sheet filled in by 5 UNP chemistry lecturers, an interview sheet for assessment at the one-to-one evaluation stage which contained several questions with answers in the form of explanations from 3 students, a practicality sheet filled out by 9 students then content validity and constructs were analyzed using Aiken's V scale, and practicality was analyzed using practical percent. The results of the analysis of the content and construct validity data obtained were stated to be valid with a value of V = 0.84 and 0.91, as well as the results of the practicality test data analysis obtained a P value (%) of 93 in the very practical category. So that an integrated learning system is produced, flipped classroom based on guided inquiry using the Discord application on colloidal material which is used as an alternative method in the learning process in lectures.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Discord instructional media integrated with flipped guided inquiry learning on reaction rates on students’ learning outcomes. The instructional media has been tested for its validity and practicality prior to the study. The study was conducted using quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Sample consists of 72 students from SMA Negeri 13 Padang participated in this study, with class F1 and F2 as the experiment and control group respectively. Students’ learning outcomes were assessed with instrument consisting of multiple choices questions. Results shown the higher N-gain value from experimental group with 0.70 compared to control group with 0.33. Furthermore, the t-test results yielded a value of t-count = 8.11 > t-table = 1.99, indicating that the means were statistically significant. These findings suggest Discord instructional media integrated with flipped guided inquiry learning was effective to improve students’ learning outcomes.
