Abstract

The perspectives of people in pesantren about gender and the role of women are much more bused on their cultural and educational experience. Previous researcher show that classical textbooks as the maian sourse of education in pesantren have gender bias. Cultural heritages combine with the legacy of religious interpretations promote gender bias in pesantren. This research exlpre the perspectives of ustazd and ustadzah about gender, how is the spirit and the role of women in productive activities in pesantren and the expectations of ustadz and ustadzah about the productive role of women in the future. A qualitative research with multicases design was conducted in four pesantren in Malang Regeant. Various data were collected by documentary study, interview, observation and an open questionnaire. The result shows that eventhough the resistency toward the idea of gender equality is very strong in three pesantren, but the role of women in pesantren is very pervasive. Women area very productive in managing educational activity of female santries. They also a dependable manager and worker in economic activities such as catering, retail and home industry. Their spouses appreciate their productive activities, there is expectation among ustadz and ustadzah that women will become more professional in their productive activity in the future.

Abstract

Abstrak: Secara akademis, undang-undang Republik Indonesia no 23 tahun 2004 tentang Penghapusan Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga (UU PKDRT) disahkan dan diundangkan pada 22 September 2004 disebut instrumen rekayasa sosial yang bisa berfungsi sebagai usaha preventif maupun kuratif bagi kasus-kasus KDRT. Sosialisasi dicermati secara kualitatif, dilakukan kajian dokumen, obeservasi kegiatan, wawancara dan diskusi teman sejawat. Kegiatan sosialisasi UU PKDRT untuk aparat pemerintah, tokoh-tokoh masyarakat, ibu-ibu aktivis PKK, kelompok sosial keagamaan, remaja pesantren maupun pelajar di Kabupaten Malang dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan wawasan tentang gender, pentingnya kesetaraan relasi laki-laki dan perempuan. Mereka perlu tahu aspek psikologis-sosiologis KDRT, bentuk-bentuk, konsekuensi hukum dan prosedur penanganan kasus KDRT. Hasil kegiatan yang diharapkan adalah terwujudnya relasi gender yang lebih adil dan mencerminkan kesetaraan, sehingga bisa mencegah terjadinya kekerasan dalam kehidupan keluarga dan masyarakat; mendorong terwujudnya masyarakat yang adil, aman dan sejahtera. Abstract: Academically, the rights of the Republic of Indonesia No 23 2004 abolishing of domestic violent which was ratified on 22nd September 2004 is called as Social Engineering instrument; it has a function as preventive or curative tool to solve many domestic violence cases. The Socializing activities were observed by a qualitative approach, study on documents, observation, interview and collegial discussion. The Socialization of UU PKDRT was done for government apparatus, community leaders, women of PKK activist, women of religious groups, youngsters from pesantren and from school in Malang Regency in order to improve their perspectives about the concept and the important of gender equality and a just relationship between man and women. They have to know the sociological and psychological aspect of domestic violents, different kind of violents and its consequences; and the procedures to manage domestic violents. The socialization activities were expected to promote more just gender relationship which reflect gender equality and prevent domestic violent in the family and society, and promote a just, peaceful and welfare society.

Abstract

One type of instant economic activity includes being sand miner and sand transporter in the sand mining area. The purpose of this study is to describe the impact of children's productive activities in the sand mine on dropout rates at the junior high school level in Keduwang Village, Blitar Regency. Respondents of the research data amounted to 38 children who carried out productive activities of sand mining. This study used cross-sectional survey research method with a quantitative approach that were supplemented with qualitative data. The collection technique used questionnaire, observation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques used descriptive data analysis techniques with the odds ratio method. The results indicate that the impact of children's productive activities in sand mining on dropout rates at junior high school level with decrease of children’s interest attending school. The results of odd ratio analysis indicate that the riskiest factor causing children to choose school dropout is productive activities in sand mining do not require special skills. The factor of not requiring special skills is proven to be six times the risk of causing children school dropout. The results provide description of how easy economic access and does not require skills has an impact on children's perceptions of going to school or working. Implications for the results of this research are expected to be a reference for government to pay attention to dropout rates that occur due to the productive activities of children in sand mining.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims at developing interactive multimedia product that is digital 3D book which is entitled “my home town”. This material is one of the content of social studies and it will be used for students at fourth grade elementary school. The effectiveness of this book is feasible and comply with its validity, attractiveness, effectiveness, and practicality. The development of the product used the model developed by Lee & Owens. The assessment of product validity covered one material expert, one media expert, one teacher, twelve students in small group test, and fifty students in field test. Test product has been trialed in SDN Ngembe 1 Beji, Pasuruan. The obtained result shows that the product produced has met the criteria of validity, attractive, effective, and practical so that the product is feaseble to use.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk multimedia interaktif buku digital 3D tema “Daerah Tempat tinggalku” pada materi IPS untuk kelas IV Sekolah Dasar yang efektivitasnya layak dan memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kemenarikan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan. Pengembangan produk menggunakan model yang dikembangkan oleh Lee & Owens. Penilaian kelayakan produk melibatkan 1 ahli materi, 1 ahli media, 1 guru, 12 siswa pada uji kelompok kecil, dan 50 siswa pada uji lapangan. Uji produk dilakukan di SDN Ngembe 1 Beji, Pasuruan. Hasil data yang diperoleh menunjukan produk yang dihasilkan memenuhi kriteria valid, menarik, efektif, dan praktis sehingga produk yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of the critical thinking and learning outcomes IPS through cooperative script by mind map. This research used qualitative approach and the form of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Prigi in 2015/2016 academic year that consist of 13 students. The instrument of collecting data used observation, test, and fields note. The technique of analyzing data used descriptive qualitative analysis. This research is consists of two cycles and each cycles consist of four stage that is planning, action, observation and reflection. The result of this research is percentage of critical thinking in cycle I is 61,53% (8 students) increase 84,61% in cycle II (11 students). The percentage of learning outcomes affective in cycle I is 76,92% (10 students), cognitive 69,23% (9 siswa), increase in cycle II affective 92,30% (11 students), cognitive 86,41% (11 siswa). Based on the research that have been implemented, it can be concluded that improve the critical thinking and learning outcomes used cooperative script by mind map.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative script berbantuan mind map dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN 1 Prigi tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 13 siswa, terdiri atas empat laki-laki dan sembilan perempuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, tes, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri atas tiga kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan bersamaan observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian yaitu persentase keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada siklus I mencapai 64,29% (8 siswa) dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 84,61% (11 siswa). Persentase hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I pada ranah afektif mencapai 76,92% (10 siswa), kognitif 69,23% (9 siswa) dan pada siklus II meningkat pada ranah afektif menjadi 92,30% (12 siswa). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa terjadi karena penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative script berbantuan mind map.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of social skill and learning outcomes IPS through Make A Matchapproach by card picture. This research used qualitative approach and the form of this research is classroom action research. This research done by collaboration with the researcher and sixth grade teacher. The subject of this research is the four grade students of SDN 13 Surau Gadang Kecamatan Nanggalo Kota Padang in 2016/2017 academic year that consist of 31 students. The instrument of collecting data used observation, interview, test, and fields note. The technique of nalyzing data used descriptive qualitative analysis. This research is consists of two cycles and each cycles consist of four stage that is planning, action, observation and reflection. The result of this research is percentage of learning activity in cycle I is 79,51% (students) increase 85,5%in cycle II (12 students). The percentage of learning outcomes in cycle I is 81,61% increase 86,67%. % in cycle II. Based on the research that have been implemented, it can bo concluded that improve the social skill and learning utcomes used cooperatif model Make A Match approach by card picture.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model  kooperatif tipe Make A Match berbantuan kartu bergambar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan secara kolaborasi antara peneliti dan guru kelas IV. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 13 Surau Gadang, Kecamatan Nanggalo, Kota Padang tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 31 siswa, terdiri atas 16 laki-laki dan 15 perempuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, wawancara, tes, dan catatan lapangan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan bersamaan observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian yaitu persentase keterampilan sosial siswa pada siklus I mencapai 79,51% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85,5%. Persentase hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai 81,61% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 86,67%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan peningkatan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa terjadi karena penerapan pendekatan Make A Match berbantuan kartu bergambar.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the application of the Find Someone Who and Timed Pair Share learning models to improve social studies motivation and learning outcomes. The type of research used is Class Action Research. The subject of this study was the VB class of SDN Pakunden 2 with 37 students.  The results of this study that the application of the Find Someone Who and Timed Pair Share learning models can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of social studies. At the end of the second cycle, all indicators assessed were able to exceed the specified success criteria.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Find Someone Who dan Timed Pair Share untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VB SDN Pakunden 2 dengan jumlah 37 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Find Someone Who dan Timed Pair Share dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS. Pada akhir siklus II, seluruh indikator yang dinilai mampu melampaui kriteria keberhasilan yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

Abstract: Development research to produce Computer Assisted Instruction interactive media theme "hero" sub-theme "hero is pride" SD IV grade material is valid, interesting, effective, and practical Computer-based learning media can used as alternative in the learning. Media products are developed based the steps of the 4-D development model. The results of validation and trials that have been done, obtained data (a) the results of media validation reached a percentage of 82.5% with very valid criteria; (b) the results of the media attractiveness test reached a percentage of 95.56% with very interesting criteria; (c) the practicality test results of students and teachers reached a percentage of 94.8% with very practical criteria; (d) the results of the effectiveness test that learning outcomes increased by compare the pre-test and post-test results.Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media interaktif Computer Assisted Instruction tema “Pahlawanku” subtema“Pahlawanku Kebangganku” materi IPS kelas IV SD yang valid, menarik, efektif, dan praktis. Media pembelajaran berbasis komputer dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran. Produk media dikembangkan berdasarkan langkah model pengembangan 4-D. Hasil validasi dan uji coba yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh data (a) hasil validasi media mencapai persentase 82,5% dengan kriteria sangat valid; (b) hasil uji kemenarikan media mencapai persentase 95,56% dengan kriteria sangat menarik; (c) hasil uji kepraktisan siswa dan guru mencapai persentase 94,8% dengan kriteria sangat praktis; (d) hasil uji efektivitas bahwa hasil belajar lebih optimal dengan membandingkan hasil pre-test dan post-test.

Abstract

Today’s women are more free to move outside the home just like men. The phenomenon of working women occurs in different parts of the world, one of which is Indonesia. Women work because of the need for encouragement. Willingness and capacity and available employement opportunities and women’s access to employment opportunities. It encourages women’s demands pn equal rights with men or known as gender equality. The economic status pof womens is seen from their activities, access to factors of production, the level of income generated and the contribution to the family income. This article will discuss about the phenomenon of women working in the home industry batik Dewi Rengganis. in writing this article, the authors conducted research using descriptive qualitative method. The researchers act as observers. The research location is located in Jatiurip, Krejengan, Probolinggo Regency. Informants in this study are grouped into two, namely key informants and informats supporters. The data source used is primary data and secondary data. Perempuan masa kini memiliki keleluasaan untuk beraktivitas di luar rumah sama seperti kaum laki-laki. Mengikuti hal tersebut fenomena perempuan bekerja terjadi di berbagai belahan dunia, salah satunya di Indonesia. Perempuan bekerja dengan tujuan mencari nafkah terjadi karena dorongan kebutuhan, kemauan, kemampuan, serta kesempatan kerja yang tersedia. Selain itu, akses perempuan atas kesempatan juga sangat mempengaruhi. Hal tersebut mendorong terjadinya tuntutan yang dilakukan oleh kaum perempuan akan adanya kesetaraan gender. Status ekonomi perempuan dapat dilihat dari aktivitasnya dalam mencari nafkah, akses terhadap faktor produksi, tingkat pendapatan yang dihasilkan, dan kontribusinya terhadap pendapatan keluarga. Dalam artikel ini akan dibahas mengenai fenomena perempuan yang bekerja di Home Industry Batik Tulis Dewi Rengganis. Dalam penulisan artikel ini, penulis dalam melakukan penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Peneliti bertindak sebagai pengamat penuh. Lokasi penelitian berada di Desa Jatiurip Kecamatan Krejengan Kabupaten Probolinggo. Informan kunci dari penelitian ini adalah perempuan yang bekerja di Home Industry Batik Dewi Rengganis. Sumber data yang digunakan yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the adaptation strategy of the residents of Karangrejo Village and Sidodadi Village, Garum Subdistrict, Blitar Regency in responding to sand mining activities in Kali Putih, Blitar Regency. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data is collected through observations, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis is done with interactive models. The results obtained from the research showed that the adaptation strategy carried out by the residents of Karangrejo Village and Sidodadi Village in responding to sand mining activities in Kali Putih, among others, by: 1) forming a community group of mine managers, 2) switching jobs to sand miners, 3) opening businesses related to sand mining. The next research suggestion is research on the views of non-miners towards Kali Putih sand mining activities. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi adaptasi warga Desa Karangrejo dan Desa Sidodadi Kecamatan Garum Kabupaten Blitar dalam merespon aktivitas pertambangan pasir di Kali Putih Kabupaten Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi adaptasi yang dilakukan oleh warga Desa Karangrejo dan Desa Sidodadi dalam merespon aktivitas pertambangan pasir di Kali Putih antara lain dengan: 1) membentuk kelompok masyarakat pengelola tambang, 2) beralih pekerjaan menjadi penambang pasir, 3) membuka usaha yang berkaitan dengan pertambangan pasir. Saran penelitian selanjutnya adalah penelitian mengenai pandangan masyarakat non-penambang terhadap aktivitas pertambangan pasir Kali Putih.
