Abstract

This research aimed to find out the influence of think pair share on understanding students' mathematical concepts. The population of this research was students of grade VIII of Junior High School 1 Semaka in academic year of 2018/2019 much 176 students that were distributed into six classes. The sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII B as many as 28 students and VIII C as many as 29 students. The design which was used in this research was the pretest-posttest design control group design. Research data were obtained through test on understanding students' mathematical concepts. The data analysis which was used was t test. The result of this research show that enhancement on understanding students' mathematical concepts of student who follow learning with think pair share no higher than understanding students' mathematical concepts of student who follow learning with convensional. Keywords: cooperative learning, understanding mathematical concepts, think pair share Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran think pair share (TPS) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Semaka tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 176 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam enam  kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling dan terpilih siswa pada kelas VIII-B sebanyak 28 siswa dan VIII C sebanyak 29 siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest – posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji lilifors dan uji . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan model kooperatif tipe TPS lebih dari pada pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan model konvensional.Kata Kunci: pemahaman konsep matematis, pembelajaran kooperatif, think pai share

Abstract

This research aimed to know the influence of problem based learning model toward students critical thinking ability. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of SMP N 1 Candipuro Lampung Selatan in academic year of 2016/2017 that was distributed into six classes. The sample of this research was students of VII A and VII B class that were choosen by cluster random sampling. This research used the pretest posttest control group design. Data analysis for testing of hypothesis in this research used t-test. Based on the result of research and discussion, Problem Based Learning Model affects the students critical thinking ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Candipuro Lampung Selatan tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 223 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam enam kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A dan VII B yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan the pretest-posttest control group design. Analisis data untuk pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, model Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa.Kata kunci: pengaruh, problem based learning, berpikir kritis matematis

Abstract

This quasi-experimental research aimed to know whether the cooperative learning model of numbered heads together type could increase the student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The design of this research was pretest posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th in even semester of SMPN 2 Trimurjo in academic year of 2013/2014 and the research samples were students of VII-A and VII-B class who were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical conceptual understanding. The conclusion of this research was cooperative learning model of numbered heads together type could increase students mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered heads together dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group design. Popu­lasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 2 Trimurjo tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-A dan VII-B yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Abstract

This research aimed to know the increasing of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding which was taught by cooperative learning model of think pair square type. The design of this research was pretest-posttest control grup design. The research population was all students of grade 8th of SMP Negeri 10 Metro City in the academic year of 2013/2014. The research samples were students of VIIIC and VIIID class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical conceptual understanding. The conclusion of this research was think pair square model could increase the mathematical conceptual understanding of grade 8th students of SMP Negeri 10 Metro City in the academic year of 2013/2014.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair square. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 10 Kota Metro tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Abstract

TSTS was a learning model which demanded students to explain work result of their group to other group. The design which was used in this research was pretest posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of even semester of SMP Negeri 1 Natar in academic year of 2013/2014. The samples of this research were students of VIIA and VIIB class which were taken by purposive sampling technique with considering to the classes were taught by the same teacher. The research data was obtained by the test of mathematical conceptual understanding. Based on the hypothesis test result and discussion, it was concluded that learning model of TSTS could increase student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran two stay two stray (TSTS) dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. TSTS merupakan model pembelajaran yang menuntut siswa untuk menjelaskan hasil kerja kelompoknya pada kelompok lain. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Natar tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan bahwa kelas diajar oleh guru yang sama. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran TSTS dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: konvensional, model pembelajaran TSTS, pemahaman konsep

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 yang melanda pendidikan di Indonesia tidak dapat diputuskan untuk tidak melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran jarak jauh merupakan solusi melaksanakan proses pembelajaran demi mencapi tujuan pendidikan terkhusus kemampuan berpikir logis yang mempunyai peran penting dalam memecahan masalah terkhusus pada materi Geometri Ruang. Proses berpikir peserta didik sangat perlu dipertahankan seama proses pembelajaran jark jauh dengan kondisi dan kendala yang dihadapi selama pembelajaran. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir logis peserta didik SMA dalam memecahkan masalah matematika pada materi geometri ruang dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di tengah pandemi covis-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek yang digunakan adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kota Bumi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 peserta didik dengan kemampuan tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kemampuan berpikir logis matematika yang berjumlah 3 soal, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, subjek kemampuan tinggi memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis yaitu pada tahap klasifikasi, tahap menghubungkan, tahap menghitung dan tahap menarik kesimpulan. Subjek kemampuan sedang memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis yaitu pada tahap klasifikasi, tahap menghubungkan dan tahap menghitung. Sedangkan subjek kemampuan rendah  memiliki kemampuan berpikir logis yaitu pada tahap klasifikasi dan tahap menghubungkan

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) to know the influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) model of learning ability to solve mathematical problems of learners; (2) to know the effect of learning habit on students' mathematical problem solving ability; (3) to know the interaction between learning model and study habit to students' mathematical problem solving ability. The type of research used is quasi experiment with 3 × 3 factorial research design. The hypothesis test used is a parametric test with data analysis technique using Anova test. The result of the research for the prerequisite test is based on normality test which can be known by using Liliefors test and homogeneity test can be known by using Barlett test, it is obtained that the test result data from both groups are normal and homogeneous, so it can be continued for parametric test by using anava test two paths with unequal cells. Based on data processing, it is found that: (1) there is influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model to students' mathematical problem-solving ability; (2) there is the influence of learning habit on the ability of mathematical problem of learners; (3) there is no interaction between the learning model and the learning habits of the mathematical problems of the learners. This means that the learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) is more effective than the conventional model so that Think Talk Write (TTW) model more influence on the problem-solving ability of learners.

Abstract

This development research aims to develop a problem based learning based worksheet to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities. This study begins with a preliminary study (needs analysis), preparation of student worksheets, validation of student worksheets, initial field trials, and field tests. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MIA2 MA Ma'arif NU 05 Sekampung Lampung Timur. The results of the preliminary study indicate the need to develop problem based learning based worksheets. Preparation of student worksheets begins with drawing up a design and all its components based on the drafting guide. The results of the validation show that LKPD has met the standards of eligibility for content and design. The results of the initial field trials indicate that the student worksheet is included in the good category. The results of field tests show that students' mathematical reasoning aspects are quite good because more than 75% of students have fulfilled the minimum completeness criteria.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa menggunakan pembelajaran soft skills komunikasi dengan pembelajaran biasa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMK yang berkemampuan sedang yang berada di lampng tengah, sedangkan sampelnya dipilih kelas XI yang berjumlah 50 orang dari satu SMK di lampung tengah yang berkemampuan sedang. Instrumen pada penelitian ini berupa tes berbentuk soal uraian untuk tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Instrumen yang digunakan sudah memenuhi soal yang baik berdasarkan validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda dan indeks kesukaran. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan SPSS 20 didapat hasil sebagai berikut pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pembelajaran soft skill komunikasi lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran biasa

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is a person's ability to formulate, apply and interpret mathematics in various contexts, including the ability to reason systematically and use concepts, procedures, and facts to describe, explain or predict an event. Therefore, mathematical literacy is essential in everyday life. This article analyzed the mathematical literacy of junior high school students in Bandar Lampung. Data were collected by giving mathematical literacy questions to junior high school students. The data were analyzed descriptive–quantitatively. The research population is 14–15 years junior high school students in Bandar Lampung City. The research sample was selected using a stratified sampling technique to get students from several favorable and unfavorable public and private junior high schools. The research instrument was a test on the mathematical literacy of junior high school students. The results showed that junior high school students in Bandar Lampung were generally able to solve mathematical literacy problems whose information was clearly available, solve problems procedurally, and use basic algorithms, formulas, procedures, or conventions involving integers. However, they have yet to solve problems that involve constraints or make assumptions. They have not been able to select and integrate different representations, including symbolic ones, relate them directly to aspects of real–world situations and have not been able to solve problems related to everyday life that they rarely encounter.
