Abstract

Abstrak Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Tawangsari I Sidoarjo pada materi bangun ruang melalui pemanfaatan media tiga dimensi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SDN Tawangsari I Sidoarjo sebanyak 35 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis hasil tes dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang berperan sebagai objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang meningkat melalui pemanfaatan media tiga dimensi. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 85,71 dari siklus I sebesar 73,38, dengan peningkatan persentase ketuntasan siswa yang meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 64,7% menjadi 94,3% pada siklus II. Hasil tersebut diikuti dengan peningkatan presentase aktivitas guru sebesar 11% dan presentase aktivitas siswa sebesar 26,5%.AbstractThis research was classroom action research which aimed to improve the learning outcomes of the fifth grade students at SDN Tawangsari I Sidoarjo on geometry material through the use of three dimensional media. The subjects of this research were 35 fifth grade students of SDN Tawangsari I Sidoarjo. The data were collected through observation, test, and documentation. The method used was quantitative description. The students’ learning outcomes in geometry was as the object of this reasearch. The results of this study indicated that the students’ learning outcomes in geometry increased through the use of three dimensional media. The average value of the students’ learning outcomes increased in the second cycle to 85.71 from the first cycle which was only 73.38, along with the increase of the students’ percentage completeness that increased from the first cycle which was 64.7% to 94.3% in the second cycle. These results were followed by an increase in the teacher’ activities percentage about 11% and the students’ activities percentage 26.5%.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effects of Project-Based Learning towards Science Literation of Elementary School Students. Students on fifth-A grade and fifth-B grade Ma'arif Al-Fattah Elementary School Surabaya in the academic year 2018-2019 conducted this research, with fifth-A grade population as the control class and fifth-B grade population as the experimental class. This research is quantitative research with a Paired Sample T-test analysis, where the independent variable is Project-Based Learning and students' Science Literacy skills as a dependent variable. Data analysis shows that t arithmetic t table is 21,308 1,705, so rejected Ho and accepted Ha. Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 0.05, so rejected Ho and accepted Ha. This research concludes that there is a significant effect of Project-Based Learning on elementary school students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan alam materi komponen ekosistem pada siswa kelas V SD Ma’arif Al-Fattah Surabaya, tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Melalui penerapan media Pop-up Book dalam proses pembelajaran diharapkan dapat menciptakan suasana kelas yang aktif, sehingga mengarah pada peningkatan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan media Pop-up Book untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam materi Komponen Ekosistem pada siswa kelas V SD Ma’arif Al-Fattah Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dan dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasıl analisis data menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa meningkat, dibuktikan dengan prosentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 43% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 86%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Materi Komponen Ekosistem melalui penerapan media Pop-up Book.

Abstract

Model Pembelajaran Snowball Throwing dapat diterapkan di Sekolah Dasar untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar materi Perubahan Energi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN Asemrowo Surabaya yang terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas III-A sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 30 siswa dan kelas III-C sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji homogenitas, uji normalitas, dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan hasil bahwa sig (2-tailed) yaitu sebesar 0,002 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar materi Perubahan Energi pada siswa kelas III SDN Asemrowo Surabaya

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi segi banyak dengan menggunakan model project based learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain one shot case study. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 peserta didik kelas IV MI Miftahul Huda Gempol Kurung. Model project based learning digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika selama 2 kali tatap muka. Data aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar diperoleh lewat observasi dan postes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model project based learning dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi segi banyak mampu meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dengan nilai presentase sebesar 90% pada pertemuan pertama dan 92% pada pertemuan kedua. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa mencapai 85,3 dengan nilai presentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 96,6%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunakan model project based learning dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi segi banyak mampu meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a crossword puzzle media on the material change of matter for the fifth grade of elementary school . This research is a development (Research and Development). The implementation of the media uses a pre-test and post-test control design with class V subjects at SD Raden Patah Balongsari Surabaya 2022-2023. The results of the research on the development of this crossword puzzle media were by first making the columns, then numbering each column with numbers and next to it being asked descending and ascending questions. Problem formulation 1. How is the feasibility of crossword puzzle media in terms of media format, concept, material and language aspects 2. How is the effectiveness of crossword puzzle media to teach the material of changing objects Based on the results of the media assessment conducted by 2validators, the crossword puzzle media is included in the valid category. The application of crossword puzzle media is effectively used for learning material changes in matter, it can be seen from the completeness of the classical pre-test results, which is 76.90 then after applying the crossword puzzle media it is reduced to 75.95. It shows that the crossword puzzle media is effectively used in science learning. The student's response to science learning material changes in matter of matter using crossword puzzle media was well received by class V SD Raden Patah Balongsari Surabaya

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using PhET Interactive Simulation as a virtual laboratory for science learning in elementary schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used were literature review, questionnaire, and interview. Data analysis used was analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman. Based on the data analysis results, PhET Interactive Simulation was effectively applied to learn Science in Elementary School during the Covid-19 pandemic. Students could find the science concepts by themselves with the help of PhET Interactive Simulation to make learning more meaningful. PhET Interactive Simulation was proven able to visualize concepts that were initially difficult to understand. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that PhET Interactive Simulation was effectively applied as a virtual laboratory in Elementary schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. In its application, it is better to provide a user guide in the form of audiovisual or video.

Abstract

The nature of Science is as products, processes, and attitudes. In the process of finding facts, concepts, principles, theories, and laws carried out through the science process skills, and in their application involves a scientific attitude. This study aims to analyze the science process skills of first semester students of primary teacher education study program through the Science practicum on the subject of Plant Growth and Development. This research was a descriptive research  with an ex post facto quantitative approach. This research was conducted on all of the first semester students in the primary teacher education study program at Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya in the academic year 2019-2020. The instruments used in this research were the science process skills observation sheet and the plant growth and development practicum worksheet based on the science process skills. The results showed that the most difficult aspect of basic science process skills were predicting skill, and the easiest was observating skill. The most difficult aspect for integrated  science process skills were defining variables operationally. The easiest was conducting investigations or experiment, and organizing data into tables and graphs.

Abstract

Indonesia kaya akan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang dapat membentuk karakter anak, termasuk juga dimiliki oleh Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang dimiliki oleh Kabupaten Gresik, yang dapat bermanfaat untuk penanaman karakter anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dan menggunakan metode penelitian etnografi. Proses pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka, dengan subjek penelitian sejumlah 12 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Kabupaten Gresik yang dapat membentuk karakter anak adalah Kota Santri, Pasar Bandeng, Damar Kurung, Molod, dan Hadrah. Nilai karakter yang dapat terbentuk pada anak diantaranya: religius; menghormati dan meneladani orang tua, Guru/ Habib/ Ulama; toleransi; pantang menyerah; bekerja keras; sportifitas; peduli sosial; bergotong royong; menghargai adat istiadat dan budaya; kreatif. Pembentukan karakter pada anak dilaksanakan mulai dari lingkungan rumah, lingkungan sekolah/ pesantren/ TPA, maupun masyarakat, dengan cara melibatkan anak secara langsung.

Abstract

The learning model is a frame of the application of approaches, methods and techniques in learning that will be carried out by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine teacher activity, student activity, student responses, and student learning outcomes in the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research. The results of the teacher activity research at the first meeting showed good criteria with a percentage of 85.71% while at the second meeting the criteria were very good with a percentage of 91.07%. Student activity at the first meeting was good with a percentage of 70.83%, while the second meeting was very good with a percentage of 93.75%. The value of the student response questionnaire is classified as very good with a percentage of 89%, while classical student learning outcomes are classified as very good with a percentage of 83.33%. The conclusions show that the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model is very effective and feasible to be used as a learning model in facilitating teachers and students when participating in the learning process of Natural Resources (SDA) materials.
