Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis hasil studi lapangan terkait kebutuhan desain modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa untuk siswa slow learner, (2) menganalisis hasil temuan di lapangan dan hasil FGD terkait kebutuhan desain modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa untuk siswa slow learner, (3) merumuskan desain draf modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa untuk siswa slow learner. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Metode deskriptif ini digunakan untuk menggambarkan desain pembuatan modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa. Modul ini dirancang dengan memperhatikan karakteristik siswa slow learner di sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) berdasarkan hasil studi lapangan modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa membahas materi pembelajaran matematika secara koheren dan jelas perlu untuk dikembangkan dengan memperhatikan kesantunan dalam setiap kalimat baik kalimat perintah, penjelasan dan pertanyaan; (2) berdasarkan temuan dan FGD perlu dirancang modul yang menggunakan kurikulum 2013, ada kegiatan proyek yang menarik, memasukkan bahasa yang santun, isinya runtut dan detail, tema tentang kebudayaan, memperhatikan karakter siswa slow learner, desain halaman dan sambul berkaitan dengan budaya; dan (3) Desain draft modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa menyediakan 3 bagian dasar dari pengantar, konten, dan penutup, serta desain setiap kegiatan pembelajaran disusun menggunakan akronim yang unik sehingga menarik dan mudah diakses oleh siswa yang lambat. The objectives of this study were (1) analyze the results of field studies related to the need for language-based mathematics module design for slow learner students, (2) analyze the findings in the field and the results of FGDs related to the need for language-based mathematics module design for slow learner, (3) formulating a draft design of a mathematics module based on polite language for slow learner students. The research method is descriptive. It used to describe the design of a mathematics module based on polite language. This module is designed with students in mind. Slow learner in elementary school. The results showed that (1) based on the results of the field study, the language-based mathematics module discusses mathematics learning material in a coherent and clear manner, it needs to be developed by paying attention to the politeness in the sentence of each command sentence, explanation and question; (2) based on the findings and FGD, it is necessary to design modules that use the 2013 curriculum, have interesting project activities, include helpful language, coherent and detailed content, themes about culture, paying attention to the character of students who are slow, page design and chutney related to culture; and (3) The design of the draft mathematics module based on polite language provides 3 basic parts of the introduction, content, cover, and design of each learning activity which is arranged using unique acronyms so that it is attractive and easily accessible to slow students.

Abstract

The purpose of doing this research is to know the information necessity of teenager’s lifestyle about fashion in 21 state junior high school of Bekasi. This research was doing on December 2013 until March 2014. This research using qualitative method to explore and understand the sense of information necessity of teenager’s lifestyle about fashion. This research process was doing from the process of information necessity  of  teenager’s  observe from an individual internal factor until the fulfillment necessity efforts about to information teenager’s lifestyle observation from individual external factor aggregation technique of data is using observation interview, and research study. The result from the research know about the student has followed the information about fashion development   by   internet,   they   can fulfill necessity them information. The conclusion from this research there are: 1. generally the student automatically looked for information whatever their necessity to support in lifestyle; 2. generally they filtered the appropriate information with culture where they are from; 3. Motive the student in fulfill information necessity usually   they   want   to   know from internet or other media; 4. Connection of teenager’s and other people around them also influence the teenager’s and other people around them also influence the teenager’s in fulfill the  necessity  of  their information.Tujuan melakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebutuhan informasi gaya hidup remaja tentang fashion di SMP Negeri 21 Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Desember 2013 sampai Maret 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk menggali dan memahami arti kebutuhan informasi gaya hidup remaja tentang fashion. Proses penelitian ini dilakukan melalui proses kebutuhan informasi dari mengamati remaja berdasarkan faktor internal individu sampai upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan akan observasi gaya hidup informasi remaja dari teknik agregasi faktor eksternal individu menggunakan wawancara observasi, dan studi penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian mengetahui siswa telah mengikuti informasi tentang perkembangan fashion dari internet, itu dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi mereka. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1. umumnya siswa secara otomatis mencari informasi apapun kebutuhan mereka untuk mendukung gaya hidup; 2. umumnya mereka menyaring informasi yang sesuai dengan budaya darimana mereka berasal; 3. biasanya motif siswa memenuhi kebutuhan informasi mereka ingin tahu dari internet atau media lainnya; 4. Keterkaitan remaja dan orang-orang lain di sekitar mereka juga mempengaruhi memenuhi kebutuhan informasi mereka.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out information exchange by college student of Department Journalism Fikom Unpad 2010 generation. The purpose of this research is to find out the goal of using Kompasiana, the formulation of information process, the presentation of information and the information exchange that journalism college students did in social media Kompasiana. The method that used in this research is qualitative method with case studies approach. Obtainable data is by observation, deep interview and supported by social media expert. The result show that the purpose of college students used Kompasiana is to practice of writing and to share the information.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pertukaran informasi oleh mahasiswa jurnalisme Departemen Fikom Unpad generasi tahun 2010. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tujuan menggunakan Kompasiana, perumusan proses informasi, presentasi informasi dan pertukaran informasi yang mahasiswa jurnalisme di Kompasiana media sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data yang dapat diperoleh melalui pengamatan, wawancara mendalam dan didukung oleh pakar media sosial. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tujuan mahasiswa digunakan Kompasiana adalah untuk latihan menulis dan untuk berbagi informasi.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to discover the promotion strategy carried out by the library of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI). To obtain that purpose, the method used is qualitative research with descriptive approach and the informant used is the librarian in the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia. The data were acquired through interviews, observations, library research and documentation. The result of this research re- presents that in running promotional strategy for their library, the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia pass through several stages of environmental analysis, formulation, imple- mentation and the evaluation. According to this whole series of analysis, we are able to see the implementation of the promotion for the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indo- nesia’s library. And there are various media to promote the library, such as brochures, personal selling (door to door and direct presentation), direct marketing (Delivery Order, DPD RI’s library website, and Facebook account creation). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan strategi promosi yang dilakukan oleh perpustakaan dari Dewan Per- wakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia (DPD RI). Untuk mendapatkan tujuan tersebut, metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan informan yang digu- nakan adalah pustakawan di Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia. Data diperoleh me- lalui wawancara, observasi, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa dalam menjalankan strategi promosi untuk perpustakaan mereka, Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia melewati beberapa tahap analisis lingkungan, formulasi, implementasi dan evaluasi. Menurut seluruh rangkaian analisis, kita dapat melihat pelaksanaan promosi untuk Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik perpustakaan di Indonesia. Dan ada berbagai media untuk mem- promosikan perpustakaan, seperti brosur, personal selling (door to door dan presentasinya langsung), pemasaran langsung (Delivery Order, website perpustakaan DPD RI, dan pembuatan akun Face- book).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to disscussed about how students in Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran (FIKOM UNPAD) doing the process of deepening on information in academic and non academic fields based on the first information source, which is LINE@ BEM Fikom Unpad. This research used a qualitative method with phenomenological tradition. The data accumulation was done by in-depth interview, observation, and by literature study. The informants are nine students from various departments in FIKOM UNPAD, who have been accessing LINE@ BEM Fikom Unpad for obtained infor information. The results of this study indicate that all informants doing deepening on the information that received from LINE@ BEM Fikom Unpad to various sources of information, whether it is using technology based communication and information media or discussion with their colleagues.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran (FIKOM UNPAD) dalam melakukan proses pendalaman terhadap informasi yang telah mereka peroleh dari sumber informasi awal, yaitu LINE@ BEM Fikom Unpad. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan tradisi fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Informan merupakan sembilan orang mahasiswa dari berbagai jurusan yang ada di Fikom Unpad, yang aktif dalam mengakses LINE@ BEM Fikom Unpad untuk mendapatkan informasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semua informan melakukan pendalaman atas informasi yang mereka peroleh dari LINE@ BEM Fikom Unpad kepada berbagai sumber informasi lainnya, baik itu dengan menggunakan media berbasis teknologi komunikasi dan informasi maupun dengan melakukan forum diskusi bersama rekan sejawat dikampusnya.

Abstract

Infographics are visualizations of data, ideas, information or knowledge through charts, graphs, schedules, and others so that data, ideas, information or knowledge can be presented more than just text and have a visual impact that is quite strong and more interesting. The study was conducted at the Bandung Institute of Technology Library and was aimed to determine the role of infographic’s attractiveness, clarity, and ease of understanding in utilizing library services at the Bandung Institute of Technology Library. This study used a quantitative descriptive analysis method, and the population in this study was library visitors totaling 13,716 people. Samples were obtained using the random sampling technique with a total of 100 people. The results of this study indicated that infographics as a promotional medium played a role in library utilization with indicators namely infographic attractiveness, clarity, and ease of understanding. The conclusions are that infographics play a role as promotional media in library utilization: seen from the aspect of attraction, the presentation of content on infographics attract the attention of the reader with display of colors and images that attract the reader; from the aspect of clarity, the information presented is precisely the content on the infographics for readers with font and the suitability the image; from the aspect of ease of understanding, the reader easily understand the information contained in the infographics so the reader can interpret for the meaning the message in this infographics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the "role of teachers in the growing smart home smart home users reading Mekarsari Ciwidey village". The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. Techniques of data collection through observation, interviews, and questionnaires on children users Smart House, as well as library research. In this study, researchers analyzed that the characteristics of a good teacher is a smart home: to answer and give you the exact reason of the importance of reading books, being able to explain well about the book being discussed, can share experiences about the positive impact of diligent reading, always actively invited to do read books together, always be friendly, provide information about the importance of reading the book again and again, delivering an important message about reading clearly, using language that is easily understood in explaining the importance of reading books. Based on the research results, the researchers concluded that teachers or communicators in Smart House Program in Rural Mekarsari Ciwidey meets the characteristics of a good teacher smart homes. Teachers in the program the smart home has good credibility in delivering messages and infor- mation about the importance of reading to children. And content of the message conveyed by the communicator to get a good response from the res- pondent, as well as the interest in reading are owned by the Village Mekarsari Ciwidey fall into the category of high. Researchers hope that this study can serve as a model for other social foundation to develop children's interest in reading villages in other areas.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan "Peranan Pengajar di Rumah Pintar Dalam Menumbuhkan Minat Baca Pengguna di Desa Mekarsari Ciwidey". Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner pada pengguna anak-anak Rumah Pintar, serta studi pustaka. Dalam studi ini, peneliti menganalisis bahwa karakteristik guru yang baik adalah rumah pintar: untuk menjawab dan memberikan alasan yang tepat tentang pentingnya membaca buku, mampu menjelaskan dengan baik tentang buku yang sedang dibahas, dapat berbagi pengalaman tentang positif dampak rajin membaca, selalu aktif diundang untuk melakukan buku membaca bersama-sama, selalu ramah, memberikan informasi tentang pentingnya membaca buku lagi dan lagi, memberikan pesan penting tentang membaca dengan jelas, menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dipahami dalam menjelaskan pentingnya membaca buku. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, para peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa guru atau komunikator di Rumah Pintar Program di Pedesaan Mekarsari Ciwidey memenuhi karakteristik guru yang baik rumah pintar. Guru di program rumah pintar memiliki kredibilitas yang baik dalam menyampaikan pesan dan informasi tentang pentingnya membaca untuk anak-anak. Dan isi dari pesan yang disampaikan oleh komunikator untuk mendapatkan respon yang baik dari responden, serta minat baca yang dimiliki oleh Desa Mekarsari Ciwidey jatuh ke dalam kategori tinggi. Para peneliti berharap bahwa penelitian ini dapat berfungsi sebagai model untuk yayasan sosial lainnya untuk mengembangkan minat anak-anak dalam membaca desa di daerah lain.

Abstract

This research is about to understanding the role of a library concept “The Reading Room”. The primary purpose of this research is to determine the extend to which room comfort, cafeteria, facility, and book collection play a significant role to enchance one’s motivation to read. The chosen method to carry out this research is using a survey method of variable list that we have chosen to be an important factor. In addition, the data collection method we have chosen consist of two sources. The primary data is taken from a survey with 60 people of respondent, and the secondary data is obtained by conducting interview with the owners and managers of the location itself, fields observation and library research. From the result of this research, we can confidently conclude that room comfort, cafeteria, facility and book collection have proven to be a good factor to which support the interesting of people to read.Penelitian ini mengenai peran penerapan konsep library cafe di The Reading Room dalam menunjang minat baca. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peranan kenyamanan ruang, fasilitas, layanan kafetaria, dan koleksi yang tersedia di The Reading Room dalam menunjang minat baca. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei yang dimaksudkan untuk menggambarkan atau memaparkan variabel-variabel yang menjadi objek penelitian. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari dua sumber, yaitu data primer yang diperoleh melalui angket dengan jumlah responden 60 orang, dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pemilik serta pengelola The Reading Room, observasi di lapangan, serta studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa pengunjung The Reading Room menilai kenyamanan ruang, fasilitas, kafetaria, dan koleksi yang tersedia di library cafe The Reading Room sudah cukup baik dalam menunjang minat baca.

Abstract

This research is about how the utilization of “twitter TMCPoldaMetro” in satisfy information need of the users of the higway.The purpose of this research is to know the extent of utilization of “twitter TMC Polda Metro” in meet information need of the new approach, the approach needs regular information, in-depth information needs approach, and the approach to information needs at a glance the user of the highway. This reaserach method used is descriptive method intended to describe or expose variables that become the object of his research. Technic to collect data done with question form, interviews, and study literature. Population in this research are the follower “twitter TMCPoldaMetro” and technic to take sampel used accidental sampling to anyone around Polda Metro. Based on the reaserach results that using “twitter TMCPoldaMetro” enough to satisfy new information needs, daily information needs approach, to deep information needs approach, and information needs approach of the users of the higway approach.Penelitian ini adalah mengenai bagaimana pemanfaatan “twitter TMCPolda Metro” dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi para pengguna jalan raya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemanfaatan “twitter TMCPoldaMetro” dalam memenuhi pendekatan kebutuhan informasi mutkahir, pendekatan kebutuhan informasi rutin, pendekatan kebutuhan informasi mendalam, dan pendekatan kebutuhan informasi sekilas para pengguna jalan raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif yang dimaksudkan untuk menggambarkan atau memaparkan variabel–variabel yang menjadi objek penelitiannya. Teknik pengambilan datanya dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Adapun yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah follower “twitter TMCPoldaMetro” dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan teknik accidental sampling yaitu mengambil sampel siapa saja yang ada atau yang kebetulan ditemui. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa dengan memanfaatkan “twitter TMCPoldaMetro” cukup memenuhi pendekatan kebutuhan informasi mutakhir, pendekatan kebutuhan informasi rutin, pendekatan kebutuhan informasi mendalam, dan pendekatan kebutuhan informasi sekilas para pengguna jalan raya.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the meaning of poor from the perspectives of poor people in rural areas, specifically in the context of the limited access to livelihood information. The method used in this research is qualitative phenomenological tradition. Data collected by unstructured interview technique, involving 65 informants whom originated from rural poor in the southern part of West Java. The study conducted during 2014-2016. The results illustrate that the meaning of poor and poverty from the perspective of the poor are: those who do not feel fast enough to get information about their livelihood; who feel that there were no another party that tells information about their livelihood; people who feel that nothing can be done to increase their income; who feel that they have no information and knowledge in entrepreneurship; who feel that no need to put effort in seeking of information about livelihood; a person who feels sad to see people scramble around to get information about a living; persons who are not able to compete in getting information related to livelihood; people who do not have information about other parties who can help them out of poverty; people who feel that there are no books and other sources of information ona better technique of entrepreneurship; people who feel that there was inadequate time to read books and other reading materials about entrepreneurship; and, those who feel that they only have limited experience in finding and using information about livelihoods.
