Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan skipping terhadap power otot tungkai siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom Klaten, (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan squat jump terhadap power otot tungkai siswa Ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom Klaten, (3) untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh latihan skipping dan squat jump terhadap power otot tungkai siswa Ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom Klaten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain “Two Groups Pretest Posttest Design” Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom Klaten yang berjumlah 46 siswa . Sampel yang diambil dari hasil purposive sampling, dengan kriteria yaitu berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Berdasarkan kriteria tersebut yang memenuhi adalah berjumlah 40 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk tes power otot tungkai adalah vertical jump. Analisis data menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada pengaruh latihan skipping terhadap power otot tungkai siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom Klaten, dengan t hitung 15.70 > t tabel 2.093, dan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05, kenaikan persentase sebesar 8%, (2) ada pengaruh latihan squat jump terhadap power otot tungkai siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom Klaten, dengan nilai t hitung 15.20 > t tabel 2.093, dan nilai signifikansi 0.000< 0.05, kenaikan persentase sebesar 6%, (3) latihan skipping lebih baik daripada latihan squat jump untuk meningkatkan power otot tungkai siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Jatinom Klaten, dengan kenaikan persentase sebesar 8%.

Abstract

Obesity in adolescents is very prone to occur due to consumption of fast food, sweet food/drink patterns, likes to play games without knowing the time, and low physical activity. Overnutrition in adolescents is characterized by relatively excessive body weight. The nutritional needs of adolescents are very important, for example, the needs of athletes, so an appropriate training model is needed. Physical activity can burn fat in the body, thereby increasing the body's metabolism. Bodyweight workout is a form of physical activity to maintain body weight. This study aimed to determine the effect of bodyweight workouts on reducing BMI. The study subjects used the Proportionate stratified random sampling technique by taking a sample of 35 male and female university students with a body mass index above 25. The research instrument uses body mass index (BMI) measurements. The data analysis technique used prerequisite tests for normality, homogeneity, and data analysis using SPSS 25. The decreased results were obtained from an average BMI of 27.411 to 25.086, 2.326 or 8.486%. This study concludes the importance of doing bodyweight workouts to reduce BMI in college students.

Abstract

Survey on the Facilities and Infrastructure of Physical Education, Sports, and Health at SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali." An article from the Department of Physical Education, Tunas Pembangunan University, Surakarta. This research aims to explore the condition of sports facilities and infrastructure at SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali. It is a qualitative descriptive study with the entire research subject population being the facilities and infrastructure of sports at SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali. The results indicate that the average facilities and infrastructure supporting physical education at SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali are 55%, categorized as "moderate" and meeting the standards of the teaching and learning process according to Government Regulation Number 19 of 2005 regarding National Education Standards. The overall average percentage of facilities and infrastructure is obtained by summing the averages of each sports branch divided by the total number of sports branches. Regarding sports facilities, the equipment is considered good or adequate. Out of 8 facilities, 5 (100%) are categorized as very good, including futsal, volleyball, basketball, badminton, floor gymnastics, table tennis, long jump, and sepak takraw.

Abstract

Physical fitness is one of the important physical components and must be owned by students of Tunas Pembangunan University to support lecture activities related to physical activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the physical fitness of students of Tunas Pembangunan University Surakarta. This research uses quantitative descriptive research methods, is research that has the intention of getting an overview of a situation that exists in the present and ongoing and centered on actual problems. Data collection using MFT (Multistage Fitness Test) running test. The population of this study uses all students of the UTP Physical Education Study Program class of 2023 totaling 112 students consisting of 98 boys and 14 girls. The results showed that out of 112 physical education students, there were 5 people or 4% of the physical fitness level of the less than once category, 14 people or 12.5%. Physical fitness level of the category is less, 19 people or 17% of the physical fitness level is in the medium category, 58 people or 51% of the physical fitness level is in the good category, and there are 16 people or 14% of physical education students who have a physical fitness level in the very good category. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the level of basic physical fitness (cardiorespiratory endurance) of physical education students was good. There are 74 people or 66% of students out of a total of 112 students all in the good and very good categories.

Abstract

Physical fitness is one of the important physical components and must be owned by athletes to support in the game of badminton. This study aims to determine Physical Conditions which include Arm Muscle Strength, Flexibility, Leg Muscle Power, and Speed of Sragen Regency Badminton Athletes in 2023. The research method used is the Survey method. The study population numbered 60 people. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using Tests and Measurements. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study were obtained that: Physical Condition Survey of Badminton Athletes in Sragen Regency in 2023 in the "Less Once" category of 3.33% (1 athlete), "Less" category of 30.00% (9 athletes), "Enough" category of 40.00% (12 athletes), "Good" category of 20.00% (6 athletes), and "Very Good" category of 6.67% (2 athletes) Based on physical condition data, Sragen Regency Badminton Athletes are included in the "sufficient" category.
