Abstract

Istilah-istilah yang berkembang di masyarakat mengenai Islam di antaranya adalah istilah “Islam Melayu” dan “Islam Nusantara”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep Islam Melayu dan Islam Nusantara. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tekni dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa Islam Melayu merupakan identitas keislaman yang terdapat pada masyarakat melayu yang berasal dari Asia Tenggata seperti Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, Filipina Selatan, serta Thailand Selatan yang mayoritas masyarakatnya beragama Islam. Adapun, karakterisitik dari Islam Melayu yaitu religius, sopan, toleransi, bermoral tinggi, berperasaan halus dan lain-lainnya. Adapun Islam sangat berpengaruh pada peradaban Melayu di antaranya pada bidang ketuhanan; kemanusiaan; persatuan dan kesatuan; sistem musyawarah; kemerataan, kerajaan Islam; pendidikan; bahasa, sastra, dan huruf Arab Melayu; seni ukir dan arsitektur, musik dan tari; ekonomi; dan adat istiadat. Di sisi lalin, Islam Nusantara memiliki dua makna yang berbeda. Yang pertama adalah Islam yang terdapat di Nusantara dan yang kedua adalah Islam yang memiliki sifat Nusantara. Akan tetapi, pada dasarnya walaupun pengertiannya Islam yang terdapat di Nusantara, namun unsur-unsur yang ada di nusantara tentu juga akan berkaitan juga. Islam nusantara memiliki karakteristik seperti tasamuh (toleransi), tawasuth (moderat), tawazun (tolong menolong), belas kasih, perdamaian, hidup secara harnomi serta menjaga silaturahim dan lain sebagainya. Sedangkan pilar-pilar dari Islam nusantara ialah pemikiran (fikrah), gerakan, dan amaliah. Pengaruh Islam nusantara terhadap Indonesia yaitu dapat berdampak bagi kemajuan bangsa dan memajukan peradaban Islam secara menyeluruh dengan cara mengaplikasikan Islam yang damai, harmonis serta humanis.

Abstract

The departure of the husband because he had to carry out the task of making the husband and wife have to live separately, this condition can be said as precipitating events that make the wife feel lonely. The purpose of the study was to find out how and the loneliness factor in the wife's stay. This research is a qualitative research phenomenon that has a meaning or concept about the experience of loneliness and influence of the wife. The results of this study found that the three research subjects experienced loneliness socially and emotionally and the factors that caused loneliness were far from their husbands, families and the environment that were not good.

Abstract

This article is the result of research that reviewing the concept of Imamah according to the Shiite sect. The concept of Imamah according to the Shiite sect, including: Ithna 'Asyariyah Shiite, and Ghulat Shiite. Ithna 'Asyariyah Shiite assume that the position as Imam was in the hands of their twelve Imams, starting from Ali ibn Abi Talib and the last twelfth Imam (Muhammad ibn Hasan who was named as al-Mahdy). To support this Imamah faith they create other teaching as complementary, including: al-'Ishmah, al-Mahdy and al-Raj'ah and al-Taqiyyah. While Ghulat Shiites called extreme groups because of their attitude exaggerated against their Imams. So has the opinion that out of limitsabout tgheir Imam as a creature and set the properties of divinity, which resemble God or equate God with creatures.

Abstract

Makalah ini mengkaji mengenai pemikiran Hamka tentang agama dan manusia. Tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa agama, menurut Hamka, memotivasi umatnya mencari ilmu pengetahuan bukan hanya untuk membantu manusia memperoleh penghidupan yang layak. Akan tetapi, lebih dari itu dengan ilmu, manusia akan mampu mengenal Tuhannya, memperhalus akhlaknya, dan senantiasa berupaya mencari keridhaan Allah. Dengan demikian, pendidikan terbagi dua, yakni pendidikan ruhani dan pendidikan jasmani. Eksistensi agama dalam diri seseorang untuk melepaskan jiwanya dari keterkungkungan, baik keterkungkungan dalam perbudakan, akal yang terkunci dan tumpul, maupun taklid yang membunuh pikiran, sehingga tidak ada yang membatasi manusia untuk berhubungan langsung dengan Tuhan. Dalam memahami eksistensi manusia, sebagai subjek dan objek pendidikan, maka perlu juga mengenali dan memahami potensi-potensi atau kekuatan-kekuatan yang ada dalam dirinya. Menurut Hamka, ada tiga potensi atau kekuatan yang menjadi motor dan dinamo manusia, yaitu kekuatan ingatan, kekuatan perasaan dan kekuatan kemauan.This paper examined on the HAMKA thought about religion and human. This paper concluded that according to Hamka religion was motivating people to seek knowledge not only to help people earn a decent living. But, more than that with science, humans would be able to know God, refined behavior, and constantly strove to seek the pleasure of Allah. Thus, education was divided into two, namely the spiritual education and physical education. Existence of religions in a person to release the soul from captivity, both captivity in bondage, mind locked and blunt, and imitation (taqlid) that killed the mind, so that there was no limit for human to direct contact with God. In understanding human existence, as subject and object of education, it was also necessary to recognize and understand the potentials or forces that existed within him. According to Hamka, there were three potential or the power of the motor and the human dynamo, the power of memory, the strength of feeling and strength of will.

Abstract

Pengetahuan merupakan jalan, bukti eksistensi manusia dan bahkan menjadi ukuran kebernilaian manusia atau sesuatu yang harus diupayakan. Pengetahuan tidak dapat diciptakan. Pertama pengetahuan adalah selalu berkembang kedua pengetahuan tidak sempurna, ketiga pengetahuan adalah meningkatkan secara langsung dan keempat, bercabang-cabang dan bermacam-macam, manusia adalah makhluk yang selalu punya rasa ingin tahu, rasa penasaran, dan ingin terus mencoba dan mengetahui tentang segala hal. Oleh karena itu, tidak herankan kalau dalam sejarah perkembangan pemikiran muncul berbagai pendapat berusaha menjawab problem tersebut, meskipun demikian tetap harus diakui bahwa persoalan itu bukan hanya sering kali berbeda, namun juga sering kali bertentangan, tapi di balik pengetahuan metafisika yang ingin dicapai.

Abstract

This paper focuses on normative and historical Islamic studies. This research uses descriptive analytic method. Islam is the last religion and the guidelines of the Islamic religion come from revelations or holy books that were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad SAW by Allah SWT through the angel Gabriel. The emergence of Islam to bring peace to mankind. Normative/theological Islam understands the meaning of religion as an attempt to build an understanding of religion based on the construction of Divine Science whose source is belief and judges that belief is the most correct of all. While historical Islam is a scientific discipline that discusses an event based on who the perpetrator, background, object, time and place of occurrence are. In this case, each event can be known how, when, where, why and who in the incident. All of these elements are then constructed into a unit called history. When associated with Islamic studies, history can be interpreted with an analysis of all events related to Islam since the era of the Prophet Muhammad SAW until now, because Islam cannot be separated from its history. Based on Amin Abdullah's view that the relationship between the two is like a coin with two different faces. Where the two different faces cannot be separated. The existing relationship is not merely a discussion alone, but both are built together and complement each other so that a very close and compact relationship is established. The meaning of religious and deepest morality still exists, takes precedence and works hand in hand in understanding human diversity. Therefore, it will not be possible to escape the traps and shackles of time and space and support each other.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relevance and continuity of classical Islamic thought in Nusantara Malay Islamic intellectualism, expected to be useful in adding to the treasures of the study of history and intellectual thought while also contributing to the preservation of scientific traditions in Indonesia. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a library research model with a historical approach. The data collection techniques in the study are heuristic techniques, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study conclude that first, the process of the intellectual tradition of Malay Archipelago Islam is inseparable from the process of transmission and diffusion of Islamic teachings and ideas always involving a kind of "intellectual networks", both those formed among ulama and intellectuals as a whole. Second, the relevance of classical Islamic thought in Nusantara Malay Islamic intellectualism can be seen in the existence of the two largest organizations in Indonesia, the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) whose intellectualism led to the Jabariah sect and Muhammadiyah whose intellectualism was directed towards Muta'zilah. Third, the continuity of classical Islamic thought in Nusantara Malay Islamic intellectualism gave rise to Malay-archipelago modernist thinkers closer to the Mu'tazilah's historical establishment than to the traditionalist historical stance.

Abstract

AbstractThe Historiography of Islam in the Nusantara Malay has been dominated by western scholars such as K.P. Lando, J.C. van Leur, R.O. Winstedt and J.j.de Graff. They claim that Islam in the Nusantara Malay region is a peripheral Islam that has no connection with Islam in the Middle East as the central. In the domination of these western authors, AzyumardiAzra emerges with contrasting idea and disagrees the claim. He states that Islam in the Nusantara Malay world cannot be separated from Islam in the Middle East which has strong connection and be a part of Islam in general. It belongs to one entity. He also states thatthe establishment and the development of Islam in a region must have connection with other regions. Therefore, this research tries to reconstruct and to analyze Azra’s contribution toward the Historiography of Islam in Nusantara Malay. The method use are historiography and content analysis. Azra’s contributions in the Historiography of Islam in the Nusantara Malay are to be determining the direction of its historiography, be approaching Islamic history in the Nusantara Malays as part of the world Islam and Muslim history,coloring Islam itself and offering consciousness on the history of Islam for muslim in the Nusantara Malay and introducing social history in the Historiography of Islam in the Nusantara Malay. Keywords: Centralization, Marginal Islam, Azyumardi Azra, Islamic Historiography, The Nusantara Malay. AbstrakHistoriografi Islam Melayu Nusantara selama ini didominasi oleh penulis Barat, di antaranya: K. P. Landon, J. C. van Leur, R. O. Winstedt dan H. J. De Graaf. Mereka berpendapat bahwa Islam di kawasan Melayu Nusantara adalah Islam pinggiran, Islam yang tidak ada hubungannya dengan Islam di pusatnya Timur Tengah. Di tengah dominasi penulis Barat tersebut muncullah Azyumardi Azra, ia tidak sependapat dengan kebanyakan penulis Barat tersebut. Menurut Azyumardi Azra, Islam di dunia Melayu Nusantara tidak bisa dipisahkan dari Islam yang ada di pusatnya Timur Tengah, dalam artian Islam di dunia Melayu Nusantara merupakan bagian dari Islam secara keseluruhan. Ia merupakan satu kesatuan yang tidak bisa dipisahkan. Tumbuh dan berkembangnya Islam di suatu kawasan mesti terkait dengan Islam di kawasan lain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merekonstruksi dan menganalisis konstribusi Azyumardi Azra dalam Historiografi Islam Melayu Nusantara. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah metode sejarah dengan pendekatan historiografi dan analisis isi. Konstribusi Azyumardi Azra dalam Historiografi Islam Melayu Nusantara adalah menentukan arah perjalanan sejarah Islam di Melayu Nusantara, mendekati sejarah Islam di Melayu Nusantara sebagai bagian dari sejarah umat Islam secara keseluruhan, memberi warna Islam dan kesadaran sejarah umat Islam di dunia Melayu Nusantara serta memperkenalkan sejarah sosial di dalam Historiografi Islam Melayu Nusantara.Kata Kunci:  Sentralisasi, Islam Marginal, Azyumardi Azra, Historiografi Islam, Melayu Nusantara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas ketertarikan interpersonal mahasiswi yang akan memilih couplemelalui ta’aruf mulai dari alasan akan memilih ta’aruf sampai menemukan ketertarikaninterpersonal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Subjekpenelitian adalah perempuan yang merupakan mahasiswi yang aktif pada organisasi berlabelIslam di salah satu Perguruan Tinggi di Republik Indonesia. Metode pengumpulan datamenggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakanInteractive model which consists of three stages, namely data condensation, data display andconclusions: drawing. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa KetertarikanInterpersonal Mahasiswi yang akan Memilih couple melalui ta’aruf adalah hal-hal yangberkaitan dengan perilaku yang muncul ketika terjadinya pertemuan dan bentuk wajah yangdianggap menarik. Seperti sikap, tutur bahasa, keramahan dan ketampanan. Dari penelitiantersebut diketahui juga faktor yang akan membuat wanita memilih ta’aruf adalah dari dalamdiri sendiri dan lingkungan.

Abstract

This paper focuses on what religion is, cultural traditions and civilization and their relationship and obstacles in civilization. Religion as a teaching revealed by God as a guide for humans for the continuation of their life. Religion is also a regulatory norm for its adherents which in daily life is indispensable for sustainability in the future. Because without religion, their life will be chaotic, especially if social activities or social traditions are very complex, this is very much needed. Tradition is a habit that has been carried out from the past, this is done so that the tradition is maintained from one successor to another, while civilization is an end result that is done by humans themselves, both materially and immaterially. This study is a literature review with qualitative descriptive data using content analysis, which produces data that there is a very close relationship between religion, cultural traditions and civilization. Religion is very closely related to traditional culture itself because in culture there are elements, one of which is religion. Likewise, civilization is also closely related to religion because one aspect of human life will not be separated from the rules (religion) itself. Because civilization is the result of the creation of cultured humans themselves.
