Abstract

The quality assurance system at Higher Education (especially in STKIP PGRI Tulungagung) is a must that must be done systemically, planning and sustainable through the establishment, implementation, evaluation, control and improvement of National Education Standards. In its implementation, the quality assurance system at STKIP PGRI Tulungagung has not run in accordance with the demands of the rules that are planned in a planned and consistent manner so that quality assurance is carried out sporadically.The study used a qualitative approach with the research subjects being policy makers (Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and Head of the Quality Assurance Agency), as well as the academics of STKIP PGRI Tulungagung, data collection techniques, using observation, interviewing, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman models. And in checking the validity of the data, researchers extended their participation, observation persistence, triangulation and peer discussion.The results show that; first, quality assurance at STKIP PGRI Tulungagung has been carried out through the STKIP PGRI Tulungagung Education Quality Assurance Agency, while the quality assurance activities at STKIP PGRI Tulungagung are oriented towards strengthening and fulfilling the accreditation of study programs; second, the factors that become obstacles in quality assurance at STKIP PGRI Tulungagung are (a) the unavailability of quality manual documents; (b) the low level of leadership and academics, (c) human resources, (d) commitment, third communication technology systems, as well as strategies for improving quality assurance that must be carried out by institutions namely through meeting national quality standards.The findings above are recommended; first, to the leadership of STKIP PGRI Tulungagung to improve insight, commitment and quality awareness as well quality culture through establishment, implementation and evaluation, control and increase in the National Standards for Higher Education in the STKIP PGRI Tulungagung environment

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve elementary school students’ active learning behaviour and students’ learning motivation through the implementation of active, creative, effective, and enjoyment learning process. The design of this research was classroom action research. The research setting was fourth grade SDN  (state elementary school) Bandulan II Kota Malang in the Indonesia language course. The subjcts were teachers and students of fourth grade SDN  (state elementary school) Bandulan II Kota Malang in the Indonesia language course. The data collection techniques were observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The colleted data were analysed using qualitative and descriptive. The research was conducted through two cycles. The results found that through the implementation of active, creative, effective, and enjoyment learning model improved elementary school students’ active learning behaviour and students’ learning motivation.

Abstract

Abstract: Process of quality management in elementary school with religion base. The purpose of this research was deeply describe process of quality management in elementary school with religion base. The research method was qualitative with a phenenomenology approach and multi-case study design on 4 elementary schools with religion base. The data collection were using in-depth interview, role-participation observation, and documentation study. Data analysis used flow model and comparative constant. Research result showed  elementary school with religion base had a good quality commitment followed up with conducting quality management. The management process began with quality planning, followed with quality control, and peaked on quality improvement.Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memerikan secara mendalam proses manajemen mutu di Sekolah Dasar (SD) berbasis religi. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif, pendekatan fenomenologis, dengan rancangan studi multi kasus pada 4 SD berbasis religi. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi peran serta dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data denga model alir dan comparative constant. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa SD berbasis religi mempunyai komitmen mutu kuat, yang ditindaklanjuti dengan melakukan manajemen mutu., Proses menejemennya dimulai dengan perencanaan mutu, dilanjutkan dengan pengendalian mutu, dan memuncak pada peningkatan mutu.

Abstract

Universities as knowledge-based organizations need to have a conducive, adaptive and flexible structure and culture, in facing any changes. The ideals of becoming a professional organization can be realized, but it demands the organizational components involved directly in the process of forming human resources, ie employees and lecturers must have a harmonious relationship, it should be realized that the harmonization in the college organization is very important. It takes individual awareness, as well as their communal role within the organization to avoid disharmony. Therefore, a good culture is created within the organization. Hinduism teachings taught the concept of Tri Hita Karana or three causes of happiness, in which the achievement of harmonious relationships based of aspects of religious, sociological and ecological. In the implementation these three causes are integrated with each other and mutually influence the creation of harmony of organization goals will be more easily achieved.

Abstract

Tahap penting dalam penelitian dan pengembangan adalah analisis potensi dan masalah. Analisis potensi dan masalah dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan jawaban alasan kebutuhan pengembangan dilakukan. Untuk mendapatkan jawaban atas kebutuhan pengembangan model supervisi pembelajaran di SD inklusi, maka dilakukan dengan: 1) menganalisis literatur yang mendukung pendidikan inklusif; 2) analisis kebijakan atau undang-undang yang mendukung pendidikan inklusif; 3) analisis pembelajaran yang mendukung pendidikan inklusif; dan 4) melakukan penelitian pendahuluan untuk memetakan kebutuhan pengembangan supervisi pembelajaran. Empat cara telah dilakukan dalam analisis potensi dan masalah pada tahap konseptualisasi pengembangan model supervisi pembelajaran di SD inklusi. Namun, dalam tulisan ini, penulis membatasi paparan pada analisis potensi dan masalah pada nomor satu sampai tiga di atas. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan literatur, yaitu: untuk mengumpulkan berbagai referensi dan dianalisis lebih lanjut. Literatur yang membahas isu-isu inklusif adalah: psikologi pendidikan dan ilmu pendidikan. Produk hukum yang memperkuat pendidikan inklusif di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, lebih dari 15 produk undang-undang dan peraturan baik tingkat provinsi maupun tingkat dua. Pembelajaran yang mendukung pendidikan inklusif, seperti dalam standar proses, terutama dalam penyusunan prinsip RPP, harus memperhatikan perbedaan individu peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the student management at inclusion school. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach and multi-site studies design. The techniques of the study were collecting data used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was divided into two phases of data analysis; those are data analysis site and site across data analysis. In checking validity of the data in this study used three kind of validities that are credibility, dependability, and confirmability. Based on those technique data analyses, it is found across the site as follows. First of all, the implementation of new admissions both regular students and students with special needs conducted in line with the new students enrollment requirements of Dikpora Kebumen. In state Elementary School 1 Surotrunan, new students who have special needs were selected and accepted, the range is for students with low till medium needs. In the other hand, State Elementary School Pecarikan using a system of promotion. Secondly, students are placed in a class, moreover, students’ grouping is based on their intelligence, academic ability and special needs. Thirdly, student treatments are given through some habitual activities, extracurricular activities, and incidental activities. Schools require guider (shadow) on each ABK’s.Key Words: management, student, educational inclusionAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan manajemen kesiswaan pada sekolah inklusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan rancangan studi multi situs. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data terdiri atas analisis data dalam situs dan analisis data lintas situs. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan tiga kriteria, yaitu kredibilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Temuan lintas situs dalam penelitrian ini sebagai berikut. Pertama, pelaksanaan PPDB baik siswa reguler maupun siswa ABK dilaksanakan bersamaan sesuai dengan juklak PPDB di SDN 1 Surotrunan, siswa ABK di seleksi yang diterima adalah ABK yang mempunyai jenis kebutuhan ringan ke sedang, sedangkan SDN Pecarikan menggunakan sistem promosi. Kedua, siswa ditempatkan menjadi satu kelas, pengelompokan siswa berdasarkan kecerdasan, kemampuan akademik, dan kebutuhan khusus. Ketiga, pembinaan kesiswaan dilakukan melalui kegiatan pembiasaan, ekstrakurikuler, dan kegiatan insidental. Sekolah mewajibkan pendamping (shadow) untuk siswa ABK.Kata kunci: manajemen, kesiswaan, sekolah inklusi

Abstract

Model Knowledge Management dalam Organisasi PendidikanAbstract: This study aims to describe knowledge management process in SMAN 1 Pulau-Pulau Aru and SMA Yos Sudarso Dobo in Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru. This research uses qualitative research with a multi case study design. The data are collected by observation, interview and documentation then analyzed with data analysis techniques; individual case and cross-case analysis. The findings of this study describes (1) the teachers have done  the knowledge transformation of explicit to tacit in the preparation of learning, tacit to explicit knowledge transformation have not been done well, and the knowledge transformation of tacit to tacit have been done well; (2) socialization have been done, but not maximized; (3) the principal of SMAN 1 Pulau-Pulau Aru is more democratic and principal of SMA Yos Sudarso Dobo is more paternalistic; (4) the improvement in the form of efforts to incorporate knowledge from outside the school have been done by both schools; and (5) the process of knowledge capture at both schools has been going well.Key Words: model, knowledge management, educational organizationsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses knowledge management yang dilakukan pada SMA Negeri 1 Pulau-pulau Aru dan SMA Yos Sudarso Dobo di Kabupaten Kepulauan Aru. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan studi multi kasus. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data kasus individu dan analisis data lintas kasus. Temuan penelitian ini menggambarkan (1) guru-guru sudah melakukan transformasi pengetahuan explicit to tacit dengan baik ketika melakukan persiapan pembelajaran, transformasi pengetahuan tacit to explicit belum dilakukan dengan baik, dan transformasi pengetahuan tacit to tacit sudah dilakukan dengan baik; (2)  sosialisasi dilakukan dengan baik, namun belum maksimal; (3)  kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Pulau-pulau Aru lebih demokratis dan kepala sekolah SMA Yos Sudarso Dobo lebih paternalistis; (4) peningkatan berupa upaya memasukan pengetahuan dari luar sekolah sudah dilakukan oleh kedua sekolah; dan (5)  proses knowledge capture di kedua sekolah sudah berjalan dengan baik. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the process of strategic management of character-based characterization of Carmelite spirituality at Senior High School. This study uses a qualitative ap-proach with multi-site study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis used single data analysis and cross-site data analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) strategic planning is characterized by the formation of organizational structures and task descriptions by principals, (2) character education programs formulated in Academic Guidebooks or Learning Guidelines (3) the implementation of character education is done by assigning character values in the spirit of prayer, brotherhood, and service, (4) evaluation is carried out regularly, while monitoring is carried out throughout the whole process of character education.Key Words: strategic management, character education, karmel spiritualityAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses manajemen strategis pendidikan karakter ber-basis spiritualitas Karmel di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi multi situs. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data tunggal dan analisis data lintas situs. Hasil penelitian menunjuk-kan bahwa: (1) perencanaan strategis ditandai dengan pembentukan struktur organisai dan deskripsi tugas oleh kepala sekolah, (2) program pendidikan karakter diformulasikan dalam Buku Panduan Akademik atau Buku Pedoman Pembelajaran (3) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dilakukan dengan mempresentasi-kan nilai-nilai karakter dalam semangat doa, persaudaraan, dan pelayanan, (4) evaluasi dilaksanakan se-cara berkala, sedangkan monitoring dilakukan pada seluruh proses pendidikan karakter.Kata kunci: manajemen strategis, pendidikan karakter, spiritualitas karmel

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to find out the relationship of the variable managerial skills of the principal, and the organizational climate to the spirit of teacher work in Senior High School in Mojokerto. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis methods. The result of this study is that teachers have a high spirit of work. Then the principal at senior high school in Mojokerto has good managerial skills. Furthermore, Senior High School in Mojokerto has an excellent organizational climate. There is a link between the principal's managerial skills and the organization's climate to the teacher's work spirit.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dari variabel keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, dan iklim organisasi terhadap semangat kerja guru di SMA Negeri Se-Kabupaten dan Kota Mojokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah guru di SMA Negeri Se-Kabupaten Mojokerto dan Kota memiliki semangat kerja yang tinggi. Kemudian kepala sekolah di SMA Negeri Se-Kabupaten dan Kota Mojokerto memiliki kemampuan keterampilan manajerial sekolah yang baik. Selanjutnya, SMA Negeri Se-Kabupaten Mojokerto memiliki iklim organisasi yang sangat baik. Terdapat hubungan antara keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim organisasi terhadap semangat kerja guru.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the leadership of school principals in a remote area in SDN 2 Bakalan and SDN 2 Kepyar Purwantoro, Wonogiri. This study used descriptive qualitative approach with multiple case study design. Data collection techniques with interviews, non-participant observation, and study documentation. The data analysis consisted of analysis of individual cases and cross-case analysis. Checking the validity of the data using the test credibility, transferability, dependability, and testing confirmability The results are the first to use the leadership style is the style of participation and delegation. Second, application of force participation in the main tasks of teachers, being force delegation on additional duties of teachers. Third, support the leadership of school principals in remote areas obtained from external and internal. External support namely: special allowances for teachers, school support committee, and teacher competence and harmonious atmosphere. Internal support are: experience of organizing, provision of education, self-reliance and innovativeness principal. Fourth, barriers to leadership comes from the geographical conditions of schools, provision of science and the demands of society. Fifth, efforts to overcome the barriers that the special allowance equalization policy, strengthen personal relationships, and intensive communication with the committee and parentsPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dasar di daerah terpencil di SDN 2 Bakalan dan SDN 2 Kepyar Purwantoro Wonogiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan studi multi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data dengan wawancara, observasi non participant, dan study dokumentasi. Analisis data terdiri dari analisis kasus individu dan analisis lintas kasus. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan uji credibility, transferability, dependability, dan pengujian confirmability Hasil penelitian, yaitu pertama gaya kepemimpinan yang digunakan adalah gaya partisipasi dan delegasi. Kedua, penerapan gaya partisipasi dalam tugas pokok guru, sedang gaya delegasi pada tugas tambahan guru. Ketiga, dukungan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dasar di daerah terpencil didapatkan dari eksternal dan internal. Dukungan eksternal yaitu: tunjangan khusus untuk guru, bantuan komite sekolah, dan kompetensi serta suasana harmonis guru. Dukungan internal yaitu: pengalaman berorganisasi, bekal pendidikan, kemandirian dan daya inovasi kepala sekolah. Keempat, hambatan kepemimpinan berasal dari kondisi geografis sekolah, bekal keilmuan, dan tuntutan masyarakat. Kelima, upaya menyelesaikan hambatan yaitu dengan kebijakan pemerataan tunjangan khusus, memperkuat hubungan personal, dan komunikasi intensif dengan komite dan wali murid
