Abstract

Penelitian ini ditunjukan untuk menguji pengaruh komitmen afektif, komitmen normatif, dan komitmen berkelanjutan terhadap turnover intention di dragon star surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian adalah komitmen afektif terhadap turnover intention berpengaruh negatif tetapi tidak signifikan, komitmen normatif terhadap turnover intention berpengaruh negatif  dan signifikan, komitmen berkelanjutan terhadap turnover intention berpengaruh negatif  dan signifikan. Serta komitmen berkelanjutan yang paling dominan mempengaruhi turnover intention.

Abstract

Pesatnya kemajuan teknologi mendorong timbulnya berbagai industri untuk meluaskan jaringan bisnisnya dengan menawarkan berbagai kemudahan yang bermanfaat terutama bagi masyarakat dengan tingkat mobilitas yang tinggi. Salah satu bentuk pemanfaatan kemajuan teknologi di bidang jasa adalah e- booking. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi masyarakat untuk menggunakan sistem e- booking dan apakah faktor tersebut berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif kausal dengan teknik analisis frekuensi, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas serta regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui variabel bebas yang berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa variabel accessibility dan security masyarakat mempunyai pengaruh yang negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction, sedangkan variabel information quality berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of store (mall) environment and money availability on consumer impulse buying in the City of Tomorrow (Cito) Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach whose data is obtained from the results of questionnaires. The sample in this study were 389 respondents taken based on purposive sampling technique which was included in non-probability sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that the store (mall) environment has no effect on impulse buying. Meanwhile, money availability has a positive and significant effect on consumer impulse buying in the City of Tomorrow (Cito) Surabaya.

Abstract

Abstrak - Penelitian ini dibuat dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui peran dari scarcity marketing dan perceived value terhadap purchase intention pada pengguna Traveloka. Scarcity marketing dalam penelitian ini berperan sebagai variabel bebas yang dibagi menjadi 2 jenis yaitu limited-time scarcity (X1) dan limited-quantity scarcity (X2). Variabel perceived value (Y1) berperan sebagai variabel mediasi dan purchase intention (Y2) sebagai variabel terikat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 100 orang pengguna Traveloka dengan kriteria pernah melihat promo Traveloka dengan scarcity marketing dan telah melakukan transaksi minimal 2x dalam 2 tahun terakhir sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil pengujian melalui software SmartPLS, didapatkan hasil bahwa limited-quantity scarcity berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap perceived value. Selain itu kedua jenis scarcity marketing juga memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap purchase intention.Kata Kunci: scarcity marketing; limited-time scarcity; perceived value; limited-quantity scarcity; purchase intention Abstract - This study examines the role of scarcity marketing and perceived value on purchase intention of Traveloka users. Scarcity marketing in this study acts as an independent variable which is divided into 2 types of scarcity, limited-time scarcity (X1) and limited-quantity scarcity (X2). Perceived value (Y1) as a mediating variable and purchase intention (Y2) as the dependent variable. The method used for this research is quantitative and the data collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 Traveloka users which has ever seen scarcity marketing on Traveloka promos and has made at least 2x transactions in the last 2 years. Furthermore, Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) was used as the data analysis technique. Based on the data analysis results through SmartPLS software, found that limited-quantity scarcity had a significant and positive effect on perceived value. Abstract

This research studies the influence of stewardship on the intention to stay in the family business. Successor’s trust and socioemotional wealth are also studied as mediator. The population in this research is Millennials that work in a family business and have prepared as a successor. Samples were taken purposively from family business members of KADIN East Java (Chamber of Commerce). The sample collected was 221. Data were analyzed with Andrew Hayes PROCESS model 4. The result shows that stewardship has a significant positive effect on the successor’s trust, socioemotional wealth, and intention to stay. Successor’s trust and socioemotional wealth have a significant positive effect on the intention to stay. Successor’s trust and socioemotional wealth have a mediating effect on the relationship between stewardship and intention to stay. The findings contribute to the succession strategy in the family business, especially to make Millennials’ successors willing to stay in the family business. The suggestion for future research is to test the effect on different cohorts as Generation Z or different family cultures.

Abstract

Supply chain management is of primary importance in industries operating in an archipelago country like Indonesia. This study aimed to determine the effect of cost reduction and inventory optimization on the partnership in purchasing and logistics on purchasing and logistic performance. This study focuses on food and beverage manufacturing companies in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods and descriptive research types. The population in this study is managers of manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The questionnaires obtained were 74 respondents, then respondents who came from manufacturing companies were 50 respondents who met the research criteria. This study indicates several findings: cost reduction and inventory optimization affect the partnership in purchasing and logistics but do not affect purchasing and logistics performance. Furthermore, partnership in purchasing and logistics affects purchasing and logistic performance. The results show that the partnership strategy is essential for manufacturing companies, especially food and beverages because cost reduction and inventory optimization need to involve several companies with more resources to increase purchasing and logistic performance.

Abstract

Based on investor perspective, Surabaya city is still recognized as a promising investation land especially in the tourism industry. As can be seen based on recent last three years, whereas a lot of new hotel establishment is introduced. The presence of these new hotel establishments could be the indicator of tourism and economic growth in Surabaya city. However, growth may also lead to tighter competition. Therefore, to competitively compete during its early years, new hotel establishment should have a strategic orientation within its business operations with additional innovation breakthrough to create value or a competitive advantage. New hotel establishment also should maintain its good performance. This research is conducted to observe the implementation of Strategic Orientation, especially related with Learning Orientation and Entrepreneurial Orientation which is conducted by the establishment to achieve a better performance, which is also supported by the predesigned innovative programs. The empirical result based on 49 new hotel establishment in Surabaya city as the research sample, indicated indirect relationship between Learning Orientation and Entrepreneurial Orientation to performance with innovation as the mediator. It is suggested to add Market Orientation as the intervening variables for the future research especially regarding the role of Strategic Orientation and Innovation in new hotel establishments due to their infancy stage.

Abstract

Abstract: In the Indonesian hotel industry, high employee turnover rates are very common costly. One of the reasons that causes hotel employee turnover to be high is low commitment. The low commitment is triggered by the low hope of hotel employees to remain and to be committed to continuing their careers in the hotel where they are working today. Employees need certainty about their future that should be guaranteed by hotel management. This study tries to analyze the role of Future Time Perspective (FTP) and its effect on hope and continuance commitment. The data were derived from distributing questionnaires to hotel employees spread in 45 three-star hotels in Surabaya, and subsequently analyzed using the General Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) tool. The results show that FTP influences hope and continuance commitment significantly. Similarly, hope has a significant effect on continuance commitment. Komitmen yang rendah tersebut dipicu oleh rendahnya tingkat harapan karyawan hotel untuk tetap tinggal serta berkomitmen untuk melanjutkan karir di hotel tempat mereka bekerja saat ini. Karyawan hotel membutuhkan kepastian akan masa depannya yang seharusnya bisa dijamin oleh pihak manajemen hotel. Penelitian ini mencoba menganalisa peran Future Time perspective (FTP) dan pengaruhnya terhadap harapan dan continuance commitment karyawan hotel. Data penelitian berasal dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan hotel yang tersebar di 45 hotel bintang tiga di Surabaya dan selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan alat analisis General Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa FTP mempengaruhi harapan dan continuance commitment secara signifikan. Harapan juga berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap continuance commitment. Abstract

Abstract. As a distinctive employee behavior, organizational citizenship behavior(OCB) plays an important role in shaping the quality of service provided by nurses tofurther enhance the feeling of satisfaction experienced by customers. This researchaims to explain the relationship between OCB, service quality, and patient satisfactionin hospital setting. We use the perception of costumers in explaining the threeconstructs used in this research. The respondents are 30 full time nurses and 100hospital inpatients of private hospitals (63.29% response rate) in private hospitals inSurabaya. SEM-PLS is used for the data analysis, yielding results that OCB haspositive and significant relationship towards service quality, and service quality haspositive and significant relationship towards customer satisfaction. Thus, the resultsconfirm previous researchers’ findings. Future research direction is advised as therelationship between service quality and customer satisfaction is found to besignificantly weaker than previous researchers’ results.Keyword: Organizational citizenship behavior, service quality, customer satisfactionAbstrak. Sebagai sebuah perilaku karyawan yang unik, organizational citizenshipbehavior (OCB) memegang peranan penting dalam membentuk kualitas layanan sustersusterdi Rumah Sakit yang nantinya akan meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara OCB, kualitas layanan,dan kepuasan konsumen di setting Rumah Sakit. Persepsi konsumen digunakan dalammenjelaskan ketiga konstruk dalam penelitian ini. Responden berjumlah 30 suster yangbekerja penuh waktu dan 100 pasien rumah sakit swasta (63,29% tingkat respon) diSurabaya. SEM-PLS digunakan untuk menganalisa data, dengan hasil bahwa OCBmemiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas layanan, dan kualitaslayanan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Hasil inimengkonfirmasi penelitian-penelitian terdahulu. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnyadijelaskan lebih lanjut karena hubungan kualitas layanan dan kepuasan pelangganditemukan jauh lebih lemah daripada hasil peneliti-peneliti terdahulu.

Abstract

Abstarct. The problems faced by the Mendiro village community are the function of protected forests, hunting of birds, timber theft / bamboo shoots, river pollution, logging in springs and the transfer of land ownership owned by people outside Wonosalam. The purpose of community service is to provide knowledge and skills to the hamlet of Mendiro Village and Panglungan Village to create a village of residence to become an ecotourism village. Over time, found collaboration of agro-tourism products which is the development of the potential that exists in the field. Service is carried out using participatory counseling methods followed by demonstrations and practices. The training activities are carried out intensively from February to August 2018 at the Panglungan Village Hall and at the residents' houses which are used as Tourist Information Centers. The activity begins with the provision of materials on the principles of ecotourism and community-based tourism, and is continued with comprehensive material to create an ecotourism village, starting with the provision of local culinary delights to making homestays. The conclusion of this dedication activity shows that the residents have high motivation to make their home village become an ecotourism village in order to overcome a number of problems listed above. Keywords: ecotourism, agro-tourism, community-based tourism  Abstrak. Masalah yang dihadapi masyarakat Desa Mendiro adalah fungsi hutan lindung, perburuan burung satwa, pencurian kayu/rebung, pencemaran sungai, penebangan di area mata air dan alih kepemilikan lahan milik orang di luar Wonosalam. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah untuk memberi pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat Dusun Mendiro dan Desa Panglungan untuk menciptakan desa tempat tinggal menjadi desa ekowisata. Pengabdian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penyuluhan partisipatif yang diikuti dengan demonstrasi dan praktik. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan secara intensif sejak bulan Februari sampai Agustus 2018 bertempat di Balai Desa Panglungan dan di rumah warga yang dijadikan Tourist Information Centre. Kegiatan diawali dengan pemberian materi tentang prinsip-prinsip ekowisata dan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat, dan dilanjutkan dengan materi yang komprehensif untuk menciptakan desa ekowisata, mulai penyediaan kuliner lokal hingga pembuatan homestay. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa para warga memiliki motivasi yang tinggi untuk menjadikan desa tempat tinggal mereka menjadi desa ekowisata guna mengatasi sejumlah permasalahan yang tertera di atas. Kata kunci: Ekowisata, Pariwisata Berbasis Masyarakat
