Abstract

Nowadays, internet is an essential contribution to tourism development. The internet offers the potential to make the information and booking facilities. It also provides a tool a communication between tourism suppliers, intermediaries, as well as end-consumers. Gojek is one of transport based application that is currently used by tourists to take advantage of low cost offered. The purpose of this research is to determine the affecting and dominant factor in affecting tourist's decision to use GoJek application. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, literature study and documentation. Sample of this research used purposive sampling technique with number of sampling are 100 respondents, focused on tourists who have been using the GoJek application. This research used six factors which consist of seventeen indicators. The results of factors analyzed affecting interpreted as external factors, psychological, internal, motivation and labor saving. The most dominant factor is external consists by a variable reference, cultural, economic, price competition, perception of security and internet trusted. Factors which eliminated in this research is use every time because tourists not necessarily used GoJek application at any time for order transportation while holiday in Bali.

Abstract

Geopark as a conservation area has a potential for biodiversity, geological diversity, and culture. This diversity of potential is developed as an integral part of the Geotourism area. This research was conducted in the Gunung Batur conservation area and the purpose of this study was to determine the role of guides through the delivery of information provided to tourists to contribute to the protection of the Batur geopark conservation area as sustainable tourism. The role of the guide was identified through the perception of tourists by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The results of the study state that there are two variables, namely the communicator mediator and the Research management role of environmental interpreter in the category "Simply Agree". The sub-indicators of the variable are "Explain potential (geology) as the main potential of the conservation area" with a score of 52.8 percent; "Explain the activities of local communities in the conservation area" with a score of 59.4 percent; "Describe natural resources, vegetation and habitat at the climbing location" with a score of 50 percent. The three sub-indicators are indicators that are the main function of the role of guides in the conservation area, but this sub-indicator gets the lowest percentage, therefore it is interpreted that the role of guides in the Batur Kintamani Geopark conservation area still needs improvement in interpreting information related to socio-cultural potential , as well as geology as a potential for conservation, and natural resources.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the satisfaction of shopping for domestic tourist at Krisna Oleh-Oleh Khas Bali. Based on statistical data, domestic tourists who choose shopping tourism activities and allocation of expenditure to buy souvenirs while on vacation to Bali ranks in the second place. Data were collected by observation, questionnaire, documentation, and literature study using accidental & purposive sampling techniques with a total of 100 respondents. To analyze data, the data analysis techniques used are validity, reliability, expectation and satisfaction. Measurements are made with three factors that influence the satisfaction of the tourist shopping of the domestic tourist in Krisna Oleh-Oleh Khas Bali. The three factors are in-store, out-store, and marketing mix and the average value of expectation is 4.14 which is in the important category, then the average value of the performance level of 3.81 is in the good category. From the results of the level of expectation and level of performance, the suitability level of 92.4% is categorized as less satisfied, which means that the domestic tourists who shop at Krisna Oleh-Oleh Khas Bali feel less satisfied. There are 7 indicators that are a priority in Krisna Oleh-Oleh Khas Bali to be improved, the indicators are the in-store scent, food court cleanliness, food court comfort, waiting area comfort, noise levels, special offers or discounts, and prices. The advice that can be given to Krisna Oleh-Oleh Khas Bali is to improve the performance that is deemed lacking like the priority already mentioned.

Abstract

PT. Merry’s Tour and Travel Service merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa, khususnya jasa perjalanan wisata, dalam 4 tahun terakhir dan pada tahun 2015 perusahaan ini mengalami fluktuasi untuk penjualan paket wisata. Untuk itu penulisan ini membahas tentang persepsi wisatawan terhadap lingkungan internal dan eksternal dari PT. Merrys Tour and Travel Service dan juga untuk mengetahui strategi pemasaran yang akan di terapkan sesuai dengan persepsi wisatawan terhadap lingkungan internal dan eksternal dalam memasarkan paket wisatanya. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan, dan kuisioner sebanyak 50 responden untuk lingkungan internal dari perusahaan dan 4 informan dari pihak manajemen perusahaan, 3 responden dari pihak ASITA, 3 responden dari pihak HPI, untuk analisis lingkungan eksternal sebanyak 10 responden. Hasil data yang sudah diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif yang di kombinasikan dengan analisis Skala Likert dan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan analisis Skala Likert yang dilakukan terhadap lingkungan internal dan eksternal PT. Merrys Tour and Travel Service, dan dikombinasikan dengan analisis SWOT, diketahui suatu strategi pemasaran yang dapat diterapkan PT. Merrys Tour and Travel Serviceyaitu (1) strategi penciptaan dan pengembangan produk wisata, (2) strategi peningkatan promosi (3) strategi peningkatan sumber daya manusia (4) strategi pengembangan segmentasi pasar, (5) strategi peningkatan kualitas produk dan jasa.

Abstract

A green product is one of the breakthrough innovations from the industry especially the tourism industry to achieve sustainable development. There are several reasons the green product is an eco- friendly product such as the use of organic ingredients and the production process. Hence, the objective of this research is to identify the factors affecting tourists’ willingness to pay for the green products at Bali Buda Ubud and what kind of factor that dominantly affects tourists’ willingness to pay Bali Buda Ubud green product. This research uses quantitative data technique analysis which processed by SPSS 23.0 for windows application. The sample is determined by a purposive sampling technique with 105 tourists who buy the green product of Bali Buda Ubud. The data collection techniques are observation, questionnaire, interview, literature review, and documentation. The data analysis techniques from this research are the validity test, reliability test, and factor analysis. The result of this research was that the factors which affect tourist’ willingness to pay green product of Bali Buda Ubud were company profit for environment conservation, green product good for health, the uniqueness of green product packaging, the pride of buying the green product, and knowledge about the green product. The dominant factor which affects tourist’ willingness to pay green product of Bali Buda Ubud was company profit for environment conservation which is seen from the biggest eigenvalue 8.373 and variance presentation 39.872%.

Abstract

Saat ini sektor pariwisata di Ubud mengalami perkembangan dengan meningkatnya jumlah wisatawan (384.835 orang) yang menggunakan jasa pelayanan shuttle bus dari tahun 2011 sampai tahun 2015 pada perusahaan transportasi di Ubud. Shuttle bus merupakan transportasi publik yang melayani wisatawan dengan sistem sharing pick up dalam melakukan perjalanan ke tempat tujuan. Kemacetan di daerah pariwisata Ubud membuat wisatawan lebih cenderung memilih menggunakan pelayanan shuttle bus ke tempat tujuan wisata, maka ingin diketahui bagaimana karakteristik, motivasi dan persepsi wisatawan mancanegara terhadap jasa pelayanan shuttle bus di Ubud yang hasilnya diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi perusahaan transportasi di Ubud khususnya dalam hal pelayanan kepada wisatawan mancanegara. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan data kualitatif dan data kuantitaif, menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder, penentuan informan digunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk teknik pengambilan sampel secara accidental sampling melalui penyebaran 100 kuesioner kepada wisatawan mancanegara yang menggunakan pelayanan shuttle bus dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan skala likert. Berdasarkan hasil penyebaran kuesioner diketahui bahwa karakteristik wisatawan mancanegara terhadap jasa pelayanan shuttle bus pada perusahaan shuttle bus di Ubud : bertujuan rekreasi berjumlah 87 orang (87%), jenis kelamin perempuan berjumlah 55 orang (55%), berusia 16 - - 30 tahun berjumlah 68 orang (68%), belum menikah berjumlah 63 orang (63%), pendidikan Universitas berjumlah 58 orang (58%), berprofesi pegawai swasta berjumlah 43 orang (43%), berasal dari negara Jerman berjumlah 28 orang (28%), pendapatan rata-rata ? $500 berjumlah 64 orang (64%) dan sumber informasi agen berjumlah 55 orang (55%). Mempunyai motivasi terhadap harga murah daripull factor motivasi berjumlah 55 orang (55%) dan persepsi wisatawan mancanegara terhadap jasa pelayanan shuttle bus adalah baik dengan jumlah total skor 4.598 dan rata-rata skor 45,98%. Wisatawan mancanegara  menggunakan jasa pelayanan shuttle bus di Ubud mayoritas wisatawan Eropa (28%), mempunyai motivasi terhadap harga murah (55%) dan mendapat persepsi pelayanan yang baik (45,98%) dari perusahaan transportasi di Ubud. Untuk saran perlu penerapan SOP (Standar Operasional Prosedur) bagi sopir shuttle bus agar lebih mengoptimalkan pelayanan yang efektif kepada wisatawan.

Abstract

Mode of water transport is very important in the tourism industry as a support in providing the best service for tourists. Transportation is the cause and the effect of the growth of tourist in Bali. Scoot Fast Cruises is transport services to Lembongan, Lombok and Senggigi. Based on Trip Advisor rating in the quality of service that is provided by Scoot Fast Cruises still very poor (158). This study aims to determine the factors that affect the service quality at Scoot Fast Cruises in Bali. Sampling technique used in this study using purposive sampling of respondents are crossing service users Scoot Fast Cruises in Bali with a total sample of 100 respondents. The data collection techniques using a questionnaire that was tested using the test validity and reliability. Analysis of the data used in this study is factor analysis using SPSS 17.0. The results of the factor analysis there are three factors that affect the service quality at Scoot Fast Cruises in Bali that is a factor completeness of facilities and services to get service with a value of eigen value 7.390, factor accuracy of services to the value of eigen value of 1.397 and the convenience factor rating with eigen values ??value amounting to 1.307. Factors completeness and ease of getting care facilities is a contributing factor dominant in influencing quality of tourist services at Scoot Fast Cruises in Bali. For further research that will lift the title of the research about the factors that affect the quality of service on a fast boat to take a shuttle to the hotel indicators and increasing the number of respondents and indicators. As for the company Scoot Cruises to take into account the convenience of tourists.

Abstract

This research is done by four national tourist motivations namely physical motivation, culture motivation, social motivation, and fantasy motivation. Perception of domestic tourists is assessed from the tourism component, namely attraction, accesibility, amenities, ancilary services. This research has a purpose 1) to determine the motivation of Indonesian tourists visiting Jatiluwih tourist attraction, Tabanan regency. 2) to find out the perception of Indonesian tourists about the main components in tourism (4A) in the tourist attraction of Jatiluwih, Tabanan regency. This research uses purposive sampling method with the method of taking informants is accidental sampling and distributing questionnaires to 125 respondents of domestic tourists. The data collection tehniques used were observatio, interview, questionnaires, literature study, documentary study and the data analysis tehniques were descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the highest motivation for domestic tourists to visit Jatiluwih tourist attraction is to enjoy the natural atmosphere and terraced rice fields, Jatiluwih ia a World Cultural Heritage, to interact with local people or farmers in Jatiluwih, and to seek new experiences. The perception of tourists towards the main components in tourism in the overall research is good. However, tourists feel that they are lacking in ancilary service on the indicator of the availability of ATM because these facilities are inadequate.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how does the public relations may involved in the security and safety crisis management of terrorism threat in I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport of Denpasar, and how it may affect the image of the airport itself. Several informants were being interviewed and as much as 116 repondents gave their answers related to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport of Denpasar’s image. This research use descriptive qualitative data analysis technique by collected the data, reductions, presented the results, and draw a conclusion. This research also use the triangulation data technique to ensure the informations given by the informants were valid. The results shown that security and safety crisis management in I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport of Denpasar has twice security check point, using the recent technology, corporate with the authorities, and do the silent investigation. The roles of public relations itself are planning the terrorism encounters training programme, make a positive image of the airport, and build communications during and after the crisis. I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport of Denpasar has a good image of security based on the result of the questioners. There was several issues in the applications of terrorism encounters in the airport such as, some of the check in counter agents didn’t ask the security questions to the passenger and the x-ray officer didn’t check the luggage thoroughly that caused Qatar Airways flight had to return to base in 2015.

Abstract

Staycation become more of trend during the pandemic COVID, because it does not require a lot of time, money and near home. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics, perceptions and motivations of staycation tourist visiting the Batur Kintamani Village during the pandemic COVID-19. The sample in this study were staycation tourist in the Batur Kintamani Village during the pandemic COVID-19. The sampling technique used purposive sampling on 100 respondents. The data collection technique by: observation, interview, questionnaire and literature study. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitatif descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that the characteristics of tourists are dominated by tourists aged between 21 to 30 years old, gender are dominated by female, profession are dominated by students or university students. The perception of staycation tourists getting an average attitude of agree which dominated by factor of the Batur Kintamani Village as a favorite place to take pictures. In staycation tourist motivation, push factor dominated by factor of wanting to relax or refresh during the pandemic COVID-19 and pull factor dominated by factor the beautiful view of mountain and lake are interesting to take pictures. Push factor get a higher average score than pull factor, so that the push factor becomes the dominant factor affecting staycation tourist motivation come to the Batur Kintamani Village during the pandemic COVID-19
