Abstract

The particular problem of coconut in Kubu Raya Regency is the ongoing partnership with suppliers to meet dynamic market changes that have not been well established. Supply chain management has become an important matter in the coconut industry in Kubu Raya Regency. Measurement of the performance of the coconut industry supply chain in order to optimize the performance of the coconut supply chain in Kubu Raya Regency, so that the realization of an efficient and effective coconut supply chain. Measurement of added value is done using the Hayami method and performance measurement is done by the SCOR method. The result of value added analysis shows that the added value of coconut in the farmer level is 758 rupiah / fruit. Analysis of supply performance using the SCOR method shows the performance of each member of the supply chain. Farmers have a 72.3% performance value included in the category below average. Traders and collectors obtained a performance value of 55.7% included in the Poor category.

Abstract

Cocoa Commodities, especially cocoa beans, have a great opportunity to be developed due to high market demand, this must be in line with the good quality of cocoa beans owned with the world market demand standards which means that at the farm level the cocoa farming must implement the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Handling Practice (GHP). This study aims to determine the effect of the characteristics of cocoa farmers on farmers' perceptions of fermented cocoa beans. The method used in this study is the survey method. The research location is Sui Duri Village, Sui Raya District, Bengkayang Regency. Data analysis using logit regression. The results showed that the five characteristics of the farmers, namely age, education, land area, number of family dependents and farming experience had a positive influence on farmers' perceptions, this indicates that farmers' characteristics are very important on the farmers' decision to adopt cocoa bean fermentation technology.Keywords: Characteristics of farmers, cocoa, perceptions, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Handling Practices (GHP)

Abstract

Market mechanism of agricultural products which is currently applied is based on green economy. Green economy is also run in a farm of Aloe Vera in Pontianak. This study aims to analyze performance factors of Aloe Vera’s value chain as a green product in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. Value chain is analyzed using SEM analysis (Structural Equation Modelling). This research employs multi-stage sampling method and the samples include farmers, traders, consumers, and policy makers (110 respondents). The results showed that coefficient value was positive, indicating that if there is an increase of attention in value chain, farm performance will improve. Activities of value chain’s actors will improve performance as it is related to farming’s input-output management, synergy, and value chain’s integrity. Both indicators are important to ensure value chain’s actors can work to achieve farming performance. Quality performance was examined in terms of diversification and improvement of farming efficiency, increase in added value, increase in farm profitability, and improvement of marketing efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the Makarti Mukti Tama Agricultural Cooperative in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province. Makarti Mukti Tama Agricultural Cooperative is the only Agricultural Cooperative still active in holding year-end meetings and assisting farmers in Rasau Jaya 1 Village in providing subsidized fertilizers. The type of research used is descriptive research using purposive methods with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The data used are primary and secondary data with interview data collection methods, questionnaires and, document recording. The population in this study was the Makarti Mukti Tama Agricultural Cooperative with a sample of 41 (Forty-one) customers and members, 3 (Three) administrators and agricultural extension workers in Rasau Jaya Village, the Office of Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises, Trade and Industry, and expert academics as key informants. Data processing using Microsoft Office Excel 2019 software with Balanced Scorecard analysis focuses on four business perspectives, customers, finance, internal processes and growth, and Makarti Mukti Tama Agricultural Cooperative learning. The results showed that Makarti Mukti Tama's Agricultural Cooperative performance in four perspectives from 2017 to 2019 was in an unhealthy condition. Performance achievement increased from the customer and financial perspective, stable from the growth and learning perspective, and decreased from the internal business process perspective. Interested parties can use the performance results to make decisions and related development and related units in the cooperative environment and support the development of cooperatives in competing with other businesses.

Abstract

This study aims to identify marketing channels, find out the structure, behavior and performance of the rubber market in Manggala Village, Melawi Regency.The market structure approach uses market share (market share), concentration ratio, and market entry barriers. The approach to market behavior using qualitative descriptive analysis explains with regard to the pricing system, and cooperation between marketing agencies.while the market performance approach uses marketing margin analysis. The respondents to the study were 67 rubber farmers and 13 marketing agencies involved in distributing rubber from producers to factories. The results showed that the structure of the rubber market in Manggala Village, Melawi Regency, led to an oligopoly. Based on the results of a descriptive analysis of market behavior, results were obtained in the process of pricing at the farmer level that farmers are not as determinants of prices but rather prices are determined by collecting traders and wholesalers. At the level of farmers and marketing institutions, there are as many as 21 people who cooperate with collecting merchants who have grocery stores, namely in the form of basic food debt,and paid when farmers sell their rubber production At the level of marketing institutions with marketing agencies, the cooperation carried out is with the provision of business capital to buy rubber from farmers and in the form of transportation of rubber picks to the place of collecting traders. The performance of the rubber market has not been efficient because the margins and profits of marketing institutions are uneven and farmers are the most disadvantaged because farmers are only price takers.

Abstract

Kelapa sawit adalah komoditas perkebunan unggulan Indonesia yang berkontribusi terhadap kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat pedesaan, kebutuhan akan minyak kelapa sawit yang cukup besar di Indonesia menyebabkan semakin meningkat juga dalam perluasan lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keberlanjutan usahatani kelapa sawit dengan menggunakan metode Rap-Palmoil melalui metode Multi dimensional Scalling (MDS). Analisis MDS secara multidimensional terdiri dari aspek ekonomi, ekologi, sosial, teknologi dan kelembagaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua Desa yaitu Desa Seberang Kapuas dan Engkersik Kecamtan Sekadau Hilir Kabupaten Sekadau. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data sekunder dan primer, data sekunder diperoleh dari badan pusat statistic, serikat petani kelapa sawit dan literatur lain yang mendukung peneltian ini, sedangkan data primer di peroleh dari wawancara kepada petani. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah petani kelapa sawit yang berjumlah 36 petani. Hasil analisis keberlanjutan menunjukkan pada Desa Seberang Kapuas dari dimensi ekonomi 66,59,  sosial 64,59,  kelembagaan 62,16 masuk kategori cukup berkelanjutan untuk dimensi ekologi 37,33 dan teknologi 48,85 masuk kategori tidak berkelanjutan, sedangkan Desa Engkersik dimensi ekonomi 64,74, sosial 68,69 dan kelembagaan 57,07 masuk kategori cukup berkelanjutan sedangkan dimensi ekologi 43,74 dan teknologi 48,59 masuk kategori tidak berkelanjutan. dimensi yang masuk dalam status cukup keberlanjutan agar dipertahankan dan sebaiknya ditingkatkan lagi supaya dapat menjadi status sangat berkelanjutan

Abstract

ABSTRACTMore factors influence consumer in taking purchasing decision, that is factor product, price,distribution and promotion. The purpuse of this research is to analyze product factor (assurance,healty, high quality and flavor) price factor(price range, discount, and price according to quality), distribution factor(easy to find, proximity of location and the place) and promotion factor(frequency, information coveyor, and advertisement)of purchasing decision milk UHT on 150respondent by purposive sampling with descriptive method used analysis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The result show all off marketing mix (product, price, distribution and promotion) gave positive and significant influence to purchase decision of milk UH. For producers to improve products, such as using materials that are strong and durable, while for prices such as providing cheaper prices in order to compete with other dairy products, and for promotion that provides advertising products that attract and cut prices. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan petani berkebun kelapa sawit swadaya di Kecamatan Ngabang Kabupaten Landak dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari masing-masing faktor terhadap keputusan petani kelapa sawit swadaya. Data yang digunakan adalah data, primer dan sekunder yang diperoleh dari 100 petani dengan menggunakan observasi dan kuisioner yang telah disusun. Analisisi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan petani adalah umur, pendidikan formal, luas lahan, pendapatan, lingkungan sosial, lingkungan ekonomi dan karakteristik inovasi. Berdasarkan perbandingan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa umur, lingkungan sosial, lingkungan ekonomi dan karakteristik inovasi berpengaruh nyata terhadap keputusan petani. Sedangkan variabel pendidikan formal, luas lahan dan pendapatan tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan petani.Kata kunci: Faktor-faktor, kelapa sawit swadaya, keputusan

Abstract

Perilaku konsumen menyangkut masalah keputusan yang diambil seseorang dalam penentuan untuk mendapatkan dan mempergunakan barang dan jasa, termasuk konsumen yang membeli kerajinan rotan Nuriah. Perilaku konsumen merupakan hal yang kompleks, karena hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor dominan yang biasanya terdapat pada setiap perilaku konsumen di dalam keputusan pembelian. Oleh karena itu perlu bagi pengusaha atau pengrajin untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor perilaku konsumen dalam pembelian kerajinan rotan untuk mengetahui pola pembeliannya, mengenai apa yang dibeli konsumen, dimana mereka membeli, bagaimana dan berapa banyak mereka membeli, serta mengapa mereka membeli. Adapun tujuan dari harian regional adalah untuk mengkaji faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi, dan psikologis apakah memiliki pengaruh yang nyata terhadap perilaku konsumen dalam pembelian produk kerajinan rotan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 responden, Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik Accidental Sampling dan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Rank Spearman. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu faktor budaya, sosial, pribadi dan psikologis yang merupakan variabel bebas dan perilaku pembelian konsumen merupakan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan SPSS Versi 19 menunjukkan bahwa : (1). Faktor budaya diketahui r = 0,625 > Rho tabel 0,364. Ini berarti bahwa, faktor budaya memiliki hubungan atau pengaruh yang nyata dan signifikan terhadap pembelian kerajinan rotan yang dilakukan oleh konsumen. (2). Faktor sosial diketahui r = 0,495 > Rho tabel 0,364. Ini berarti bahwa, faktor sosial memiliki hubungan atau pengaruh yang nyata dan signifikan terhadap pembelian kerajinan rotan yang dilakukan oleh konsumen. (3). Faktor pribadi diketahui r = 0,389 > Rho tabel 0,364. Ini berarti bahwa, faktor pribadi memiliki hubungan atau pengaruh yang nyata dan signifikan terhadap pembelian kerajinan rotan yang dilakukan oleh konsumen. (4). Faktor psikologis diketahui r = 0,580 > Rho tabel 0,36. Ini berarti bahwa, faktor psikologis memiliki hubungan atau pengaruh yang nyata dan signifikan terhadap pembelian kerajinan rotan yang dilakukan oleh konsumen.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of farmers from the local rice farming in tidal swamp land. Research data using primary data and secondary data with the number of respondents as many as 30 people. Data analysis used is total cost analysis, revenue analysis and farm income. The results showed that the average total cost of farmers is fixed costs and variable costs is Rp.2.488.813,56,-/Ha/MT, while the average farmer’s income is Rp.8.545.197,74,-/Ha/MT and farmer income from rice farming in tidal swamp land that is equal to Rp.6.056.384,18,-/Ha/MT. This shows that the total amount of the gain from the cultivation of rice has not been able to meet the needs of the family farmers because the rates of the income of farmers are still low.Keywords : Total Cost of Production, the reception and income of farmers
