Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi temperatur aktivasi (600oC, 700oC, 800oC, dan 900oC) terhadap daya serap logam timbal (Pb) dan seng (Zn) menggunakan arang aktif kayu mahoni. Arang aktif dihasilkan melalui proses preparasi, karbonasi dan aktivasi untuk menghasilkan butiran adsorben 100 mesh. Massa adsorben masing-masing 10 gr dan waktu kontak 100 menit. Adsorben dimasukkan ke dalam labu elemenyer yang terisi air logam kemudian dihomogenkan dan dilihat penurunan konsentrasi air logam tersebut. Konsentrasi air logam diukur menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kondisi optimum penyerapan logam Pb dan Zn pada temperatur 800oC dan 700oC. Efisiensi penyerapan logam Pb 82,84%, dan logam Zn 55,8%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin besar temperatur aktivasi dari suatu arang aktif, semakin tinggi daya serap dan efisiensi penyerapan logam Pb dan Zn.

Abstract

A prototype of (porous silicon (PS) based) NO(x=1.2) gas sensor based on porous silicon (PS) (operated at room temperature) has been fabricated. The sensor could be operated at room temperature. The (PS) basic material for the material sensor ( i.e. PS) was fabricated in the previous research by varying (parameter of the HF concentrations) concentrations of HF (what is HF?) and (the anodization time) time of anodizations. Its structure, as well as its optic, has been characterized. In this research, we did electrical characterization of PS to find its conductivity. The conductivity of PS is important because PS, as a sensor, utilizes the changes of conductivity when it is passed by NO(x=1.2). (The influence of these parameters on I-V characteristics of the PS and on the sensor performances has been studied in detail) The changes of electrical current because of the varying NO concentrations with time were measured using a current measuring system, then plotted. The result (shows) showed that the sensor could detect NO (and NO) gasses ranging from 16 ppb to 200 ppb and NO gas ranging from 12 ppb to 200 ppb, respectively at room temperature (28C) and at adjusted currents ranging from 20 to 800 μA. The result also showed that the sensor was not completely reversible for NO. xxx22ox

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada mitra tentang pengembangan instrument evaluasi berbantuan software adobe CS6. Metode pelaksanaan dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu tahap penyajian materi secara teori dan tahap pendampingan secara praktik pembuatan instrumen evaluasi berbasis adobe CS6. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan pengembangan instrumen evaluasi berbantuan Adobe CS6 bagi guru SMA Negeri 11 Kendari menunjukkan bahwa guru sangat antusias sesuai data yang disajikan dalam diagram lingkaran dengan hasil yang menyatakan kategori sangat baik sebesar 85%, untuk kategori baik sebesar 10%, sedangkan untuk kategori cukup sebesar 5%. Pengembangan instrumen evaluasi berbantuan Adobe CS6 sangat membantu guru sehingga menyebabkan instrumen media guru mayoritas valid, efektif, dan menyenangkan. Hasil yang telah diperoleh juga akan membuat peserta didik tertarik dengan audio visual instrumentasi yang disajikan oleh guru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of iron sand extract and cashew nut shell activated charcoal in the capacitor manufacturing process and determine the effect of grain size on the capacitor capacitance with electrodes from a composite of iron sand extraction and activated charcoal from cashew nutshells. The sample preparation of cashew nutshell activated charcoal was carried out by carbonation and activation methods at a temperature of 700 0C and continued by extracting iron sand. The results of the iron sand extract were then crushed using a mortar, followed by varying the mass fraction of iron sand starting at 40%, 60%, and 80% for each particle size (60 mesh, 100 mesh, and 200 mesh). Then composite the iron sand extract and activated charcoal mixed for 4 hours, and added 0.7 mL of LiNO3 1M solution. The analysis showed that the highest specific capacitance was found in the 200 mesh grain size, namely 0.0695 F/g.

Abstract

Integrated community service activities KKN-Tematik are a forum for educating and training teachers and students using online learning as an effort to prevent Covid-19 with the purpose that teachers can carry out learning activities by online learning with utilizing several applications such as WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google meet, and zoom. The activities on the work program KKN-Tematik begins with socialization to teachers in the location of each student, followed by educating and guided training on online learning methods and the use of several applications that can be used, as well as conducting trials involving several students. This activity received positive responses from the teacher with the seriousness and activeness of the teacher to find out the use of applications in online learning which so far has only limited to the use of WhatsApp through questionnaires. In addition, the ability and skills of teachers regarding the use of several applications have increased from the inability to use applications in online learning to be able to use these applications with the readiness of teachers to carry out online learning in the future. However, some of the barriers experienced by the teacher in the implementation of online learning are not yet maximal inability, so they still need further independent guidance and insufficient advice and infrastructure such as internet networks, data packets, and not all students have cellphones

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir logis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Kaledupa; 2) mendeskripsikan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal materi gerak lurus peserta didik SMP Negeri 4 Kaledupa; 3) mengetahui adanya hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir logis dengan kemampuan  menyelesaikan soal materi gerak lurus peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Kaledupa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional (Survei) dan ex post facto dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif  untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir logis dengan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal peserta didik. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas peserta didik kelas VIII B dan VIII C SMP Negeri 4 Kaledupa tahun ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 40 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah data kemampuan berpikir logis dan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal yang diperoleh dari hasil tes peserta didik. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: 1) hasil deskripsi data dari keseluruhan nilai kemampuan berpikir logis peserta didik yaitu 65% termasuk dalam kategori cukup sedangkan pada kemampuan menyelesaikan soal fisika  yaitu 55% berada pada kategori baik; 2) nilai rata-rata hasil tes kemampuan berpikir logis  peserta didik yaitu 60 dengan standar deviasi 11,82 sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil tes kemampuan menyelesaikan soal yaitu 62 dengan standar deviasi 15,01 dengan harga r sebesar 0,72 pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of KOH concentration on crystal structure, functional groups, and surface morphology of lauric acid extracted from coconut oil. The first stage is lauric acid extracted from coconut oil. The results of lauric acid were analyzed using three tools namely XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) which was useful to know the structure of lauric acid crystals, FTIR (Fourier Transform InfraRed) to determine the functional groups of lauric acid and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) to determine the morphology of the surface of lauric acid. The results of XRD analysis at an angle of 2θ, the higher the KOH concentration, the clearer the diffraction peak at an angle of 2θ = 22 ° (002) which characterized lauric acid (C12) which had a monoclinic crystal structure and the results of the FTIR analysis, the higher the KOH concentration, showed the absorption at the number waves 1640.59 cm-1, 1637.03 cm-1, and 1647.89 cm-1 were not much different that have carbonyl functional groups (C = O) which were functional groups of lauric acid (C12).

Abstract

Kegiatan Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Teams bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru Sekolah Dasar mitra di Kecamatan Molawe Kabupaten Konawe Utara. dalam penggunakan aplikasi dalam pembelajaran online. Pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan system pembelajaran dilakukan secara online, sehingga dibutuhkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam melakukan transformasi pembelajaran online bagi semua siswa dan guru. Permasalahan mitra muncul karena keterbatasan dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran secara online. Proses pembelajaran online tidak pernah dilatihkan kepada guru-guru Sekolah dasar, karena selama ini proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara tatap muka. Dengan mewabahnya Covid-19, maka kondisi tersebut memaksa seluruh kegiatan dilakukan dengan menjaga jarak dengan personil pebelajar. Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Teams. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengatasi permasalahan mitra membimbing secara online. Kegiatan diawali dengan pemberian panduan cara menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Teams. Masing-masing peserta diminta untuk melakukan singkronisasi office 365 dan sudah terkoneksi dengan jaringan internet. Peserta pelatihan memberikan respon positif terhadap pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Microsoft Teams. Peserta mendapatkan ilmu dan keterampilan terkait penggunaan aplikasi pembelajaran online. Peserta sudah dapat menjalankan tugas mengajar non tatap muka, sehingga kegiatan belajar mengajar tetap berjalar

Abstract

This study aims to determine the structure of morphology and functional groups from activated charcoal for palm oil waste with variations in activation temperature. The process of two stages: the carbonation and activation stage. Carbonation process using a pyrolysis reactor at a carbonation temperature of 200oC -400oC for 6 hours. Then, the sample activated at a temperature of 700 °C, 750oC, 800oC, and 850 °C. Samples were characterization using SEM and FTIR. SEM analysis results show the largest pore size at a temperature of 850 oC with a diameter of 48.3 nm, and the lowest temperature was 700 °C with a capacity of 35.3 nm. Activated charcoal from oil palm shell waste at mesopore size. Next, FTIR analysis results show wave numbers 2165,18 cm-1, 1554 cm-1, 1030,76 cm-1 dan 424,11 cm-1.  The removal of some absorption bands and  the formation of new absorption bands, caused by the activation temperature

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of activation temperature the crystal structure of activated charcoal. The material used activated charcoal bunches (Arengga Pinnate Merr). The process of making activated charcoal divided into two, namely the carbonization stage at a temperature of 250- 400 oC and the activation stage at a temperature variation of 600 - 800 ÌŠC. To find the crystal structure, the sample characterized by X-Ray Diffraction. The results of analysis the dominant elements diamond before activation with a percentage of 90.2% and an orthorhombic crystalline structure, where the lattice parameter a = 4.12700 Ã…; b = 4.93700 Ã…; c = 4.81900 Ã…. Peak Carbon has a hexagonal crystal structure in all temperature variations. Peak Graphite an orthorhombic crystal structure and at a temperature of 700 oC a hexagonal crystal structure formed. Therefore, giving temperature variations the activated charcoal of the bunches affects the structure of the formed Crystal. Wherein increasing the activation temperature, the crystal structure that forms look more amorphous marked by a widening diffraction peak intensity decreased crystals
