Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, yang bertujuan untukmenuntaskan kemampuan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah Kimia Dasar I melaluipenerapan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah. Subjek penelitian, mahasiswa ProgramStudi Pendidikan Kimia PMIPA FKIP UR semester satu yang mengambil mata kuliah KimiaDasar I Tahun ajaran 2009/2010. Data penelitian ini dari evaluasi belajar dan lembaranaktivitas pembelajaran setiap siklus. Kriteria ketuntasan secara klasikal ditetapkan 75%.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 3 siklus, pada Siklus I ketuntasan klasikal 52 %, Siklus II 62 %,dan Siklus III 86 %. Jadi ketuntasan tercapai pada Siklus III. Ketuntasan belajar dilaksakandengan proses; 1) pengajaran secara kelompok yang terdiri dari 5 atau 6 orang, 2)menggunakan media pembelajaran berupa buku bacaan Kimia Dasar dan Lembaran KerjaMahasiswa (LKM), 3) semua anggota kelompok harus diaktifkan, 4) dosen memberikanarahan materi dan pembahasan LKM, dan 5) menjelaskan materi yang didiskusikan baiksecara kelompok maupun secara klasikal.

Abstract

Basic Chemistry II course is a repetition and development of chemistry which have been learned by students in high school. Therefore, the learning outcomes of student at the course Basic Chemistry II was expected in the high category. Through observations and interviews with students was obtained information that most of the students was difficult to understand about the material. It is necessary to increase the quality of learning in order to better and complete student results through class action research by applying problem-based learning. This class action research aims to improve and complete the learning ability of students of study program of Chemical Education FKIP Riau University academic year 2011/2012 in the course of Basic Chemistry II. This study was conducted in three cycles. The increasing of mastery learning outcomes of students from the cycle I to Cycle II was 25% and from Cycle II to Cycle III was 54.17%. Improving the ability of students to learn this by: 1) Teaching takes place in groups of 5 or 6 people. 2) Using instructional media in the form of textbooks, learning2materials and Student Work Sheet. 3) Lecturers encourage student to be active when group activities. 4) Lecturers provide guidance in groups and classical. 5) Time for classical discussion was long.Keywords : Basic Chemistry II, Problem-based learning, Mastery learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract:This research aims to increase student achievementon the subjectstructure atomicinclassXSMAN 1 Pasir Penyu.  This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMAN 1 Pasir Penyu.The samples of this research were the students of class XMIA 3 as the experimental class and  students of class X MIA 1 as  the control class.Experimental class is a class that is applied active learning method The Learning Cell, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 3,24> 1,67, means that the application of active learning method The Learning Cell can improve student achievement on the subject of Structure atomicin class X MIA 3 SMAN 1 Pasir Penyu, increase learning of 14,5%. Abstract

Abstract: This research is about the application of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type that has conducted to know the increasing of student’s learning achievement on atom structure and chemical element periodic system topic in class X at SMA N 2 Tambang. This research was experiment by design pretest and posttest. The sample determined nonrandomly after doing normality and homogeneity test of 9 classes as population and then class X.4 as experiment group and X.5 as control group. The experiment group was applied by the application of cooperative learning model Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type. The data analysis technique used was t - test. Based on the tabulation of last data obtained tcount> ttable was 3,33 > 1.68 meant that the application of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) type could increase the student’s learning achievement on atom structure and chemical element periodic system topic in class X at SMA N 2 Tambang. Abstract

Abstract: Development of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 on the topic rate of reaction has been done. Development of learning media to get a valid learning media. The research and development method used ADDIE models which consists of five stages are analysis, design, development, implement and evaluate. Data collected technique used validation sheet was given to three validators (two of media expert and a matter experts). The results showed score of the designing aspectswas 3,73; pedagogic aspects was 4; the content aspects was 3,83; the ease of use aspects was 3,93.Average score overall validation of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 on the topic rate of reactionwas3,87.Average score overall validation of learning media based on Visual Basic 6.0 show that this media is valid and can be use in learning process.Key Words: Learning Media, Visual Basic 6.0, Rate of Reaction

Abstract

Abstrak: Abstract : The student activities sheet based on Science, Environment, Technology and Society (SETS) for chemistry grade XI senior high school in hidrolize of salt materials has been developed. Method of this research is Research and Development (R & D). The instruments of this research are questioners which are given to the validators. There are three validators, one of validators is lecturer in chemistry university of riau and two validators are teachers of Babussalam senior high school, Pekanbaru. The result of this research shows the validity of student participant exercise sheet is 90,65 %, and category of validity is very high. Based on the result analysis can be concluded that the learning device consist of student activities sheet based on Science, Environment, Technology and Society (SETS) for chemistry grade XI senior high school in hidrolize of salt materials has been valid and proper.Keywords: Student participant exercise sheet, learning process envisioned Science, Environment, Technology and Society (SETS), R&D, hidrolize of salt

Abstract

Abstract : Classroom Action Research (CAR) has been done using active learning strategy Instant Assessmen type to improve the student activity and student achievement on the subject of Colloid in class XI Science 1 SMAN 15 Pekanbaru. The research was conducted in April to May 2016 and the subjects were students of class XI Science 1 SMAN 15 Pekanbaru and subjects of research was 42 students which consist of 19 males and 23 females. The data was collected from action of each observation, analyzed descriptively by using techniques percentage to see results that occur in learning activities. This study consisted of two cycles where the average student activity in the end of the learning process gained 54,75% and student achievement in classical learning completeness percentage obtained 85.71%.Key Word : Instant Assessment, activity, result of study

Abstract

Abstract : The research about application of bamboo dancing cooperative learning model aims to improve students learning achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. Form of research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, which are X8 as experiment class and X9 as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given treatment with implementing bamboo dancing cooperative learning model while the control class wasnot given treatment bamboo dancing cooperative learning model. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of the analysis it was found that tscore > ttable (4,60 > 1,67), it means that the application bamboo dancing cooperative learning model can improve students achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of students learning achievement in experiment class was high category (N-gain =0,76) and in control class was medium category (N-gain =0,63).Key Words : Bamboo Dancing Cooperative Learning Model, Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract : This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kerinci Righ, Right Kerinci District of Siak which aims to determine how the achievement of mastery learning students with the application of learning strategies firing squad formation rate against chemical subjects on the subject of chemical bonds in class X SMA Negeri 1 Kerinci Right . Experimental class randomly selected from the population . Collecting data in this study using a test technique and direct observation ( observation ) . Aspects assessed in this study include the knowledge , attitudes and skills . The data obtained were processed and analyzed statistically . The results showed that the applied learning strategies can achieve mastery in the classical student learning . Achievement of completeness in the aspect of knowledge  is 85.19 %. The type of this research is experimental research with pretest-postest design. The sample consists of two classes. They are class XI Science 2 as an experimental class and class XI Science 3 as a control class which were decided randomly after doing normality and homogenity test. Experimental class is a class that is applied cooperative learning model Time Token, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 1,82>1,66, means that the application of cooperative learning model Time Token can improve student achievement on the subject of termokimia class XI IPA  SMAN 2 Pekanbaru, increase learning of 5,07%.
