Abstract

This study has objectives (1) to know the effect of SSCS learning model and POE toward the achievement of students learning biology, (2) the difference between the achievement of students learning biology using SSCS learning model and POE. This is quasi experimental research with randomized subjects posttest only control group design. The population are three classes randomly selected from SMP Negeri 1 Gondangrejo Karanganyar 2013/2014. The first class, VIIID, is thaught by POE learning model. The second class is SSCS learning model, and the third, as control class, is thaught by variative lecturing. Data are collected by test, quessionaire, observation, and documentation. Then data are analysed by validity, reliability, difficulty test index. The results are (1) there is an effect of SSCS learning model and POE toward the achievement of students learning biology at three aspects: cognitive, affective and psychomotoric. It can be seen on the average of students learning achievement at experiment class and control class with the significance value 0,05. The proceed result of anova Post Hoc test Scheffe indicates that there is a difference the achievement of students learning biology using SSCS learning model and POE at affective and psichomototic domain, but it does not happen in cognitive domain. The conclusion is (1) there is an effect of the achievement of students learning biology using SSCS learning model and POE, (2) SSCS learning model is more effective than POE.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain (1) the influence of SSCS and POE learning model on learning achievement biology of students (2) differences in the biology student learning achievement using learning model SSCS and learning model POE. The research was a quasi experimental research with a design randomized subjects posttest only control group design . The populations in this research were Student in class 8th at SMPN 1 Gondangrejo Karanganyar academic year 2013/2014 . Classes used in the study of 3 randomly selected classes . The first class 8thD applying POE learning model, second class 8thF applying SSCS learning model and the third is a control class 8thE applying conventional learning models specifically models of speech varies and experiment with a simple summary. The data was collected using tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The Analysis using test validity, reliability, difficulty index problem, different power and to test hypotheses about the use of ANOVA and t test with help of SPSS 18. The results showed that : (1) There is the influence of the learning model Search Solve Create and Share (SSCS) and learning model Predict Observe Explain (POE) on learning achievement biology students of SMPN 1 Gondangrejo Karanganyar academic year 2013/2014 both the cognitive, affective , and psychomotor . It can be seen from the average student learning achievement in the experimental class and control classes on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor tests and the results of the ANOVA showed a significance value < 0.05. Further results of the ANOVA Post Hoc test Scheffe there are differences in learning achievement SSCS and POE models on affective and psychomotor domains, whereas the cognitive domain there are differences in learning achievement. The conclusion from the research are: (1) there are significant learning model SSCS and POE to biology students learning achievement, (2) learning model SSCS learning more effectively applied in the class 8th students of SMPN 1 Gondangrejo Karanganyar academic year 2013/2014 than POE and conventional  models it looks from the average value of the results of learning both the cognitive, affective and psychomotor higher grade SSCS. Keywords : SSCS learning models, POE learning models, learning achievement

Abstract

Learning with Socioscientific Blended Project-Based Learning is a learning process that actively involves students both online and outside the network in reading, writing, conducting experiments, and analyzing, as well as finding solutions to social science-related problems in society. The use of the Blended Project-Based Learning (BPjBL) model is considered very beneficial because it can improve problem-solving and critical thinking skills. This community service aims to introduce the right Blended Project-Based Learning (BPjBL) learning model to improve students' thinking skills, namely the ability to think clearly and rationally which includes the ability to think reflectively and independently with a Socioscientific issues (SSI) approach that is able to produce learning products. HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) orientation. This training is expected to provide skills to develop learning models for SMP/MTS teachers and apply them in science (Biology) learning. This training was attended by MGMP IPA (Biology) teachers throughout Boyolali, amounting to approximately fifty people, where the implementation is planned to last for 4 days, namely 21-24 August 2021

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain: (1) curriculum and learning planning. (2) organizing curriculum and learning. (3) implementation of curriculum and learning. (4) evaluation of the implementation of curriculum and learning. This type of research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic design that was carried out at the Madrasah Aliyah PPMI Assalaam Surakarta. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model with three stages. The results of the study were (1) Learning planning, in the preparation of madrasa curriculum documents a curriculum development team was formed involving all elements of the madrasa to verify syllabus documents, prota and promissory notes, and lesson plans prepared by the teacher before being validated by the head of the madrasa. The final product of the lesson plan is in the form of a KTSP document which is the official madrasah curriculum document as a reference in carrying out teaching and learning activities for one academic year. (2) Organizing Learning, including preparing an educational calendar. Arrangement of teacher assignments according to qualifications and competencies, preparation of lesson schedules assisted by application software. (3) Implementation of learning, including learning objectives, subject matter, methods, media, and evaluation of learning, is a part that must be fulfilled so that the objectives of learning can be achieved. (4) Evaluation of learning implementation, including supervision of learning planning, supervision of learning implementation, and supervision of learning outcomes.

Abstract

Mathematics is a very important subject at every level of education in every country. This is proven by making mathematics a basic competency in PISA (program for international student assessment). Based on the results of the 2019 PISA, the ability of Indonesian students to score below the OECD average in reading, mathematics and science. It can be concluded that the reading and mathematics abilities of students in Indonesia still need to be improved, so it is necessary to strengthen literacy and numeracy through effective mathematics learning plans. The purpose of the research is to explain the planning of learning mathematics in the independent curriculum. This research is a qualitative research with a case study. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data validation uses technique triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis used interactive data analysis from Miles Huberman. The results showed that the planning of learning mathematics begins with the analysis of learning outcomes, determining learning objectives, determining the flow of learning objectives and making teaching modules.
