Abstract

Muatan makna simbolik filosofis yang begitu tinggi dalam tari Bedhaya, menyebabkan genre tari ini senantiasa ditempatkan sebagai salah satu bentuk seni pertunjukan yang paling penting di keraton-keraton Jawa. Di Kasultanan Yogyakarta dan Kasunanan Surakarta, tarian ini dianggap sebagai salah satu atribut sang raja, yang pada gilirannya juga berfungsi sebagai sarana untuk melegitimasi kekuasaan dan kewibawaan para Sultan atau Sunan. Tari Bedhaya Bedhah Madiun merupakan sebuah tari Bedhaya ciptaan Hamengku Buwana VII seorang Sultan Yogyakarta. Sesuai dengan pandangan filosofis yang melatarbelakanginya serta berdasarkan fenomena visualnya, tari Bedhaya Bedhah Madiun merupakan gambaran proses kehidupan manusia dalam mencapai kesejahteraan dan menuju kesempurnaan. Niat dari setiap pelembagaan tari Bedhaya adalah untuk state ritual, yang bisa dilihat di dalam Kandha Bedhaya Srimpi, yakni selalu ditujukan untuk membangun kesejahteraan serta kemakmuran rakyat dan negara. Hal itu terkait dengan kelangsungan kekuasaan sang raja, upaya semakin meningkatkan kewibawaan dan kemashuran, serta harapan agar sang raja mendapatkan anugerah usia yang panjang. Kata kunci: bedhaya, makna simbolik filosofis, fenomena visual, bentuk dan struktur tari

Abstract

Education with a dimension of EO (Emotional Quotions) can be found in theconcept of dance education. This article is the result research that examine how theimplementation process, and improvement of emotional intelligence of youngchildren through learning the art of dance by using a qualitative approach. Data iscollected through focused interviews, participant observation, and studydocumentation. The data is analyzed by reducing, clarifyng, describing, concluding,and interpreting all the information. The data is then examinated its confirmabilityand dependability. The result showed the implementation process of dance educationin early childhood dependent on its teaching and learning process, which includes:objectives, teaching material, teaching methods and learning activities, facilities andinfrastructure, evaluation, social and cultural conditions. The improvement ofemotional intelligence of young children through learning the art dance can be seenthrough: (1) a sense of pridfe, (2) has a brave nature, (3) able to control emotions, (4)able to hone refinement, (5) be able to nuture a sense of responsibility, (6) able tonuture a sense of self, (7) easy to interact with others, (8) has a good performance, (9)are able to develop imagination, and (10) becomes a creative child.Kata Kunci: pendidikan seni tari, kecerdasan emosional, dan anak usia dini

Abstract

Laesan adalah salah satu kesenian tradisional kerakyatan masyarakat pasisir desa Bajomulyo, kecamatan Juwana, kabupaten Pati, Jawa Tengah, dengan fenomena trance yang merupakan bagian paling pokok dalam kesenian itu. Masalah dalam penelitin ini adalah (1) bagaimanakah bentuk penyajian kesenian Laesan ? (2) bagaimanakah proses terjadinya interaksi simbolik antara pemain dan penonton? (3) simbol-simbol apakah yang dapat membentuk terjadinya proses interaksi simbolik antara pemain dan penonton? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, memahami dan menjelaskan : (1) bentuk kesenian Laesan, (2) proses terjadinya interaksi simbolik antara pemain dan penonton, (3) simbol-simbol yang ada dan digunakan untuk membentuk interaksi simbolik antara pemain dan penonton.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi partisipan, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi, mengklarifikasi, mendiskripsikan, menyimpulkan dan mengiterpretasikan semua informasi secara selektif. Teknik Pemeriksaan data menggunakan dependabilitas dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Laesan mempunyai bentuk penyajian yang meliputi (a) tiga bagian penyajian yaitu awal pertunjukan, inti pertunjukan, akhir pertunjukan, (b) unsur-unsur perlengkapan pentas; (c) iringan; (d) rias dan busana; (e) gerak tari representasional dan non representasional. Proses interaksi simbolik terjadi pada setiap bagian pertunjukan. Simbol-simbol yang membentuk proses interaksi simbolik meliputi dupa, sesaji, nyanyian pengiring, makna trance dalam Laesan.   Kata kunci : Laesan, interaksi simbolik, simbol, trance

Abstract

Pendidikan seni tari pada anak usia dini adalah salah satu sarana pendiidkan untuk mengembangkan kepribadian anak yang positif dalam mencapai kedewasaan.  Dalam proses mencapai kedewasaan, anak juga mengalami proses pengalihan kebudayaan sebagai model-model pengetahuan, nilai-nilai dan kepercayaan. Proses pengalihan kebudayaan yang meliputi proses sosialisasi, enkulturasi dan internalisasi, dikenalkan pada anak sejak anak usia dini melalui proses pembelajaran seni tari, anak mampu ebrsosialisasi dengan guru, lingkungan, sekolah, teman sebaya; anak mampu membentuk pola-pola yangt etap dan mantap melalui proses meniru yang dilakukan secara terus menerus; anak mampu mengembangkan ebrbagai macam perasaan, hasrat, nafsu, serta emosi dalam kepribadiannya yang ditunjukkan dengan ekspresi gerak. DI samping itu, anak juga dapat mengenal seni budaya, adat istiadat, norma-norma, tata peraturan yang berlaku di lingkungan masyarakatnya.   Kata Kunci : pendidikan seni tari, proses alih budaya, sosialisasi, inkulturasi, internalisasi.

Abstract

Profesi sebagai pencipta tari dan penari bukan hanya dilakukan oleh kaum pria saja, tetapi juga kaum wanita, baik yang sudah menikah ataupun yang belum menikah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui, memahami, menjelaskan eksistensi, dan faktor-faktor yang menghambat dan mendorong wanita pencipta tari dan penari dalam seni tari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan fokus penelitian wanita pencipta tari dan penari dalam komunitas seniman di Kota Semarang. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan cara mereduksi, mengklarifikasi, mendiskripsi, menyimpulkan dan menginterpretasikan semua informasi secara selektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam kurun waktu 1 tahun terakhir ini, dari 20 orang wanita, 4 orang wanita masih eksis berprofesi sebagai pencipta tari dan penari, dan 7 orang wanita masih eksis berprofesi sebagai penari. Faktor-faktor yang  menghambat adalah (1) rasa deskriminatif, (2) kultur (budaya), (3) keluarga, (4) naluri kewanitaan, (5) wanita pekerja, (6) latar belakang pendidikan, (7) orientasi komersil dalam berkarya, (8) pandangan masyarakat, (9) apresiasi masyarakat yang masih rendah. Faktor-faktor yang mendorong adalah, (1) kesetaraan gender, (2) kultur, (3) keluarga, (4) naluri kewanitaan, (5) latar belakang pendidikan, (6) orientasi komersial dalam berkarya.Kata kunci : eksistensi, wanita penari, wanita pencipta tari, karya tari.

Abstract

Laesan art is a kind of traditional art, which is a result of aesthetic expression of people with trancephenomenon in side. Here, implicit symbols occur in Laesan art, then it is interpreted by theaudiences and applied in terms of behavior patterns of people in Bajomulyo. From that phenomenon,research studies are form of aesthetic expression and meaning of symbols of Laesan art. Thisresearch uses qualitative approach, with data collection technique done by interview, observation ofparticipants, and documentation study. Analyzing data done by reducing, clarifying, decrypting,concluding, and interpreting all information selectively. Techniques of checking relevance data weredependability and conformability. Research result show that Laesan art having aesthetic expressionin: a) in the beginning, core, and the end of the show, b) supporting substance of the show consist ofperformance equipments; dance movement; offbeat; make up and clothing; and stages. Symbol thatshape meaning in the process of symbolic interaction consists of incense, offerings, accompaniedsing, and meaning of trance in Laesan. Suggested that Laesan art need to be repackaged in order tomake it better and have a high sale price, it is need to be conserved and inherited to the nextgeneration to avoid extinction.Kata Kunci : laesan, laes, ekspresi estetis, makna simbolis, trance

Abstract

The problem of the study is how the process of the implementation of dance education through the approach of free expression, disciplines and multicultural as an effort to increase students creativity. The study employed qualitative approach with the researcher herself as the research instrument. Data collection techniques included focused interviews, participant observation, and study documentation. Data analysis was done by reducing, clarifying, describing, concluding, and interpreting all the information selectively. The results show the process of implementation of dance education is inseparable from the teaching-learning process, which covers: curriculum, objectives, teaching materials, methods of teaching and learning activities, facilities and infrastructure, and evaluation. Free expression approach in learning the art of dance is done by providing opportunities for students to develop movements, done through observing objects, image and music. The implementation process of learning the art of dance through discipline approach is done by giving the subject matter theoretically based on scientific viewpoint. The implementation process of learning the art of dance through a multicultural approach is done by introducing, practicing, and doing reformation to the students about the diversity of cultural arts of their homeland. Abstract

Abstract

The learning model is a fusion of dance integrated approach to free expression, discipline and multicultural. The problem is how to form and execution of an integrated model of learning the art of dance in elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine and implement an integrated model of learning in elementary school students. This study uses the approach of Research and Development (R D), engineering data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as the validity of the data using triangulation of data analysis process includes three grooves activities as a system, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the integrated model of learning dance implemented through three stages: (1) disciplinary approaches, (2) using a multicultural approach that includes process flow that is penengenalan appreciation, understanding, appreciation and evaluation, (3) approach in which free expression using creation method which ideas and concepts, plugging into a new motion products. Advice, elementary school teachers should use the integrated arts learning model that students have the experience to appreciate and be creative.Keywords: integrated learning model, free expression, discipline, multicultural.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process of motion and creative songs based on the Curriculum 2013 in Miryam Semarang Kindergarten. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The result of research is the learning process of motion and song covering the planning stage, implementation stage, and result. The planning stage consists of RPP. The implementation stage consists of opening activities, core activities, and closing activities. Result of this research is the students have participate in a intellectual and emotional learning procces, student have found learning concept and have responsibility to finishing task together.
