Abstract

  The purpose of this study to analyze the right combination of products for tofu agroindustry businesses in order to achieve optimal conditions and analyze the allocation of resources owned by tofu agro-businesses to achieve optimal conditions. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. This research method using a sensus method. The analytical method used are the optimization analysis and sensitivity analysis using the model of Linear Programming. These results indicate that in order to achieve optimal conditions, tofu agroindustry businesses in Pekanbaru City must produce the large tofu and the little tofu as much 339,242.1 units and 0 unit. From that total production is obtained profit per month of IDR 77,971,390. Resources that become active resource that is tofu acid resource, while other resources are passive or excess resources.   Keywords: Tofu, Combination of Products, Resources

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of individual variables, organizational variables and psychology variables working for farmers. The author took hypothesized that individual, organizational and psychology variables simultaneously or partially have a positive and significant effect on the behavior of farmers in sub Maharatu. The research method is used descriptive an quantitative methods of statistical analysis using linier regression. The data used primary and secondary. Researchers used 70 vegetables farmers in the sample. The study’s results shows that the individual, organizational and psychology variables simultaneously and partially have a slight positive and significant influence on the behavior of vegetable growers working in Maharatu Village, Marpoyan Damai Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City. Of the coefficient of determination is known that the contribution of the influence of individual, organizational and psychology variables of the work to 58,2 % while the remaining 41,7 % is influenced by other variables not included in this models.   Keywords : Individual, organizational, psychology, working behavior

Abstract

The research on the role of women in the workforce of coffee farming in Huta Ginjang village, Muara District, Regency of  North Tapanuli have been  done. The purpose of this study was to see how big the influence of social and economic factors on women's labor pouring in every stage of coffee farming jobs such as maintnance, harvesting and post-harvest. The method used in this study is  survey method and simple regression analysis. Data and information collected in this study using primary  and secondary data. Secondary data is data obtained from government agencies and the information obtained in the field while the primary data obtained directly from respondents by conducting interviews using a questionnaire tool. To see the outpouring of female labor in coffee farming is done through a multiple regression analysis with  indicator used is hours of work, days of work, and labor standards. Furthermore  analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to see the impact of social  and economic factors in the outpouring of coffe farming workers whether significant  or effect is not significant. The results showed that the work of women involved in farming coffee  work  with father  and children. However, the greatest percentage of time  provided by Mother  at 55,50 percent, followed by Father 34,75 percent and  smallest given by children at 9,75 percent. Social factors remained influence but not significant  on female labor force coffee farming  means that just under 7,8 percent. Economic factors  significant influence on coffee farming, meaning that the influence of economic factors above 67,7 percent in coffee farming.   Keyword : Workforce, Farming, Women, Economic, Social.

Abstract

Rubber plant is one of the plantation crop which has the potential to be developed at Sungai Jalau Village because it is one of the high producers village of rubber plant in the North Kampar. Some differences were found in the income of the Rubber farmer because of different purchasing offered by the employer. The purpose of this study to analysis the structure and level of house income of rubber farmers at Sungai Jalau Village. The method used in this study is a survey method by using purposive sampling. Total populations of 110 rubber farmers were taken which are subscribed by 3 major employers and then 28 farmers were sampled according to the criteria of the study. The results of the study shows that the agricultural sector is the largest contributor to the total household income of rubber farmers is 73,82% and the rest 26,18% was contributed by the revenues of non-agricultural sector. The total average household income received from primary income is Rp.2.098.057/month (63,21%) and additional income is Rp.424.120/month (12,78%), and the total average household income received from other family members is Rp.797.077/month (24,01%), while the average per capita income is Rp.7.966.210/year. Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing channel and identify the pattern of the relationship between farmers and tauke in the Sungai Jalau village. This study executed in countryside of Sungai Jalau North Kampar at Kampar Regency. This study uses the survey method, sampling technique respondents conducted by purposive sampling. Number of samples 3 people tauke and 28 people rubber farmers. Analysis of the data was analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The result of the study shows that, marketing channels trought which farmers rubber consists of two channels. Rubber farmers Sungai Jalau sell ojol trader gatherer. The farmers can not sell ojol to the factory because small production and need big costs for sell to factory. The traders gatherer on channel 2 sell ojol to wholesalers because trader gatherer do not have permission sell ojol to the factory and to reduce of the cost. Trader getherer on channel 1 sell to the factory, because can get price higher than the wholesaler price. Relations between farmers and tauke in the Sungai Jalau village was patron - client relationship, dependence relationship, resiprosity relationship, loyalty relationship and personality relationship. The relationship of reciprocity; farmers helping tauke to raised ojol of storage (river) to the car to be weighed, after that tauke gived pay to farmer. Loyalty relationship, tauke and farmers, they helped an event without coercion. Personal relationship; relationship of mutual trust and solidarity between farmers and tauke. Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) identifying the white oyster mushroom cultivation techniques which are run by farmers King Spora Farm. 2) analyzing the costs and revenue of white oyster mushroom cultivation is carried out by farmers King Spora Farm. 3) analyzing the cost, margin and marketing efficiency of white oyster mushroom business by farmers King Spora Farm. The research was do from January 2015 to April 2015. The method used is the case study method. Results showed white oyster mushroom cultivation techniques the farmers get optimal results after doing research on the experience during to farm. White oyster mushroom farming requires production cost of Rp 16,651,822,- each production cycle. Net income derived from the cultivation of white oyster mushroom Rp 6,298,178,- each production cycle and gross revenue of Rp 22.950.000,- each production cycle. Results of the analysis of white oyster mushroom farming obtained RCR of 1,38. BEP white oyster mushroom farming Rp 13,206,407,- each production cycle or 433,17 kg of white oyster mushroom each production cycle. Thus, white oyster mushroom farming viable and profitable. Marketing white oyster mushroom of King Spora Farm there are two marketing channels, namely channel I (farmer to consumers) and channel 2 (farmer to traders to consumers). Channel I marketing efficiency by 0.62%, while marketing channel II by 1.75%, so that the white oyster mushroom cultivation is more efficient on channel I.   Keywords: cultivation, farming, marketing, white oyster mushrooms.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is  to determine the income level of Petalangan Malay community in Madang Village Pangkalan Lesung District. This research conducted by purposive sampling of 20 Petalangan Malay community samples determined using snowball sampling method. The result showed that.The income level of Petalangan Malay community in Madang Village consists of father income, Mother income, Child income. Father income who above regional minimum pay (UMR) as many as 13 respondents from 20 respondents (65.00%). Father livelihood consists of rubber farmer, palm farmer, farmworker, official employee, toke, civil servant and construction worker. Mother income who above regional minimum pay (UMR) as many as 4 respondents from 20 respondents (20.00%). Child income from 20 respondents there were 14 respondents (70.00%) who have not income and 6 respondents (30.00%) who have income under regional minimum pay (UMR), because the childs only working to helped farmers.     Key words: Petalangan Malay community, Income level, father income, Mother income, Child income.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the working hours of women entrepreneurs agro industry food household in Sub-District Kuok of  Regency Kampar. The sampling method in this research using census sampling technique by making a sample of the entire population. This research was conducted in District Kuok of Regency Kampar. The results of the analysis show  the total working time productive activities of women entrepreneurs is 3.536,67 hours/month or 79%, total working time on reproductive activities is 854,17 hours/month or 19% and in social activities total working time is 110,00 hours/month or 2%. Based on the standard normal working hours there are 3 (21%) women entrepreneurs who have business hours according to standards, while 11 (79%) women entrepreneurs have standard working hours exceeding normal working hours.   Keywords    : Working hours of women, productive activities, reproductive activities, social activities

Abstract

Pattern swadaya farmer’s is development rubber plantation by society conducted of farmer self supporting is not intervention government. The purpose of this research is to analyze the income of rubber farmers swadaya pattern and eficiency farming of rubber farmers swadaya in pangkalan kuras sub-district pelalawan regency with consideration that basis most living of resident is rubber farmer cleanse sub-district. The research for 5 monts, started on February until August 2015. The analysis used is income analysis, return cost ratio (RCR) analyse. The result of research showed that net income rubber farmer swadaya pattern is Rp14.959.837,55 with the total cost swadaya farmers is Rp14.323.227,56 by ha/year and the total revenue swadaya farmers is Rp29.283.065,11 ha/year. The average value RCR of rubber farmers swadaya pattern is 1,59 its mean the value that are profitable with value RCR>1.   Keywords : Income, eficiency of farming, swadaya pattern

Abstract

The purpose of this research to analyse business woman’s working time on productive activity, reproductive activity and public social activity. This research held in Rengat district Indragiri Hulu regency. Research method used survey method. This research held on food agroindustry business woman's working time in the household scale in Rengat district with 30 respondents. The results showed, productive working hours of women-owned businesses in the District Rengat largely complies with the criteria of normal working hours, in which 18 women or (60%) of women entrepreneurs working below 160 hours/month, where as 12 women or (40% ) of women entrepreneurs have the outpouring of time that exceeds normal working hours. Business woman in Rengat district has productive activity’s working time was 4.479,17 hour/month (55%) from total woman’s working time, reproductive activity’s working time was 3.471,97 hour/month (42%) from total woman’s working time, public social activity’s working time was 224,50 hour/month (3%) from total woman’s working time, so based on business woman’s working time in Rengat district showed that more concentration on productive activity.     Keyword:  Working time, productive, reproductive and public social.
