Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity sheet as support the implementation. This research used a research and development Research and Development (R & D) with 4-D model of development that includes Definition, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Research and development conducted in the Laboratory of the Department of Study Program of Chemistry Education PMIPA the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on the problem solving. The data analysis techniques used in the study was descriptive statistical analysis, by calculating the percentage of validation value. The average score of the five aspects of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, presentation, didactic, construction (linguistic) and technical (graphical) respectively has a value of eligibility 89.58%, 93.75%,90, 96.67% and 89.5%, totality score validation is 91.9% meaning the student’s activity sheet developed (LKPD Developed) is proper be use in chemistry learning.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Problem Solving, Ksp

Abstract

The research aims to develop devices integrated learning Malay culture in the form of RPP, LKPD and evaluation tools to improve character education learners. This type of research is the development of research (research and the development) with the procedural model. Research has been conducted in the development of chemistry teaching lab FKIP Riau University from June to November 2016. The prototype learning device generated through research is Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) consisting of 4x meeting, Activity Sheet Students (LKPD) for 4x meetings and 1 set of tools evaluation. Product prototype learning device has been evaluated by 3 validator. Data collected through questionnaires and observation techniques. The data analysis technique is a descriptive quantitative by calculating the percentage of the value of the validation. The average score ratings seventh aspect of the RPP is 95.95% with a valid category. The average score of the four aspects of the feasibility assessment LKPD is 95.95% with a valid category. The average score of all fifth aspects of the feasibility assessment evaluation tool was 94.58% with a valid category. While the percentage of learners response to LKPD is 97.36% which is at the criteria very well.

Abstract

bstract: This study aims to determine the improve of student achievement by implemented of Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) on solubility equlibrium subject at class XI MIA SMAN 8 Pekanbaru. The type of research was an experiment with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this research is class XI MIA 7 as experiment class and class XI MIA 8 as control class which is determined randomly after normality test and homogenity test. The experimental class was treated with the implementation of Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) while the control class without the implementation of Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR). Data analysis for hypothesis testing is done using right-t test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained tcount = 3,254 with = 0,05, dk =69 and obtained that tcount > ttable is 3,254 > 1,67 means the implementation of Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) learning model can improve student’s learning achievement on solubility equlibrium subject at class XI MIA SMAN 8 PekanbaruKeywords: Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR), Learning achievement, solubility equlibrium

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to develop Solubility and Solubility Constant Product (Ksp) module based on problem solving for Senior High School Students in 11th Grade Curriculum 2013 which is valid and practical. This type of research is research and development (R&D) which covering Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The object of this research is module based on problem solving. The data collection instrument used are a validation sheet that given to three expert validators and user response questionnaire that given to three chemistry teachers and 20 Senior High School Students. Data analysis technique is by calculating the percentage score of validation and user response. The average score of the assessment by the validator team, i.e. self-instructional, self-contained, stand alone, adaptive, user friendly, IDEAL Problem Solving, pedagogic, and gradability aspects are 95,83%, 95,83%, 87,5%, 95,83%, 95%, 98,33%, 93,33%, dan 96,43%. Thus, the mean overall score of the solubility and Ksp module based on problem solving is 94,762% with ‘Valid’ category. The teacher’s average response to the module score os 91,667% with the croteria can be used without revision. The percentage of average score of student’s responses to developed module is 94% with the croteria can be used well. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the module based on problem solving is valid and can be used well on subject of solubility and Ksp.Key Word : Module, Problem Solving, Solubility and Solubility Constant Product (Ksp).

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to  increase  student achievement  on the subject of salt hydrolysis in  class XI  SMAN 1 Bukit Batu Kabupaten Bengkalis. Form of research  is  experiment  research  with  pretest-posttest  design.  The sample consisted  of  two  classes.  Experiment  class  was given  implementing  model cooperative  learning Question Student Have, while the  control class was not given  implementing model cooperative  learning Question Student Have. The   t-test  is used for data analysis technique.  Based on the  final  results  of data processing  using  t-test  formula with dk=39  and  ɑ =0,05  obtained  tarithmetic > ttable (2.75 > 1.68)  means that  the application of  model  cooperative learning  Question Student Have can  improve student’s achievement on the subject of salt hydrolysis  in class XI SMAN 1 Bukit Batu Kabupaten Bengkalis. The improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was supported by N-Gain score 0,74 that included in high category. Key Words :  Question Student Have,  Learning  Achievement,  Salt Hydrolysis

Abstract

Abstract : Research on the implementation of REACT strategy aims for improve learning achievement on reaction rate material and knowing kategori of learning achievement improvement of learners in class X I SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru After given the tests of normality and homogeneity The sample of research consisted two class, obtained the students of class XI IPA2 as the experimental class and the students of class XI IPA4 as the control class. They were randomly determined. The Experimental class is a class which was given a treatment by applying REACT strategy, includes five steps Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring. This research used experiment with design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The data were analyzed by using t-test. Based on the result of data analysis, it obtained tscore > ttable (5,68 > 1,67), meaning the implementation of the REACT strategy can improve student learning achievement there is material rate reaction in class X I MIA SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru. The improvement category in learning achievement on the material rate reactions in the experimental class include high category with normalized N- gain of 0.71 .Keywords: Strategy REACT , Learning Achievement, Rate Reaction

Abstract

Abstract: The Research about application of the learning inquiry was conducted to improve student’s achievement on the topic of solubility and solubility product constant in class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. This research was experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class Xl IPA 5 as the control class and students of class XI IPA 4 as the experimental class that randomly selected after testing homogeneity. Test experimental class was applied learning inquiry, while the control class was not. Applied data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 2,27 > 1,66, means that the application of learning inquiry can improve student achievement on the subject the result solubility and solubility product constant in class XI Science SMAN 10 Pekanbaru go with the inereasing percentage of 7,09%.KeyWords : Learning inquiry, Learning Achievement . Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research has been to produce LKPD based on learning cycle 5-e on the subject of valid reaction rate based on feasibility of content, language, kegrafisan, and presentation. The research was conducted in Chemistry Education Department of PMIPA FKIP University of Riau on May 16, 2017. Research is done by research and development research and development (R & D) with 4-D model, because time and cost limitation is only done until development stage. Instrument of data collecting in this research is validation sheet and teacher response questionnaire as well as questionnaire response of learners. LKPD that has been developed validated by 2 validators namely lecturer of Chemistry Education FKIP UR, then tested to 15 students in SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru and 15 students in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. The average scores of validation of feasibility aspects of content, language, kegrafisan, and presentation of LKPD developed respectively were 95.83%, 87.5%, 97.5%, and 87.5% with an overall average of 92, 08% (valid). The mean outcome of the teacher's response questionnaire to LKPD was 85.94% (good), the average score of the limited trials conducted in 2 schools were 90.56% (good) and 87.08% (good) respectively.Keywords : Development, LKPD, Learning Cycle 5-e, Rate of Reaction

Abstract

Abstract: The development of POE-based chemical modules on the colligative properties of the solution aims to obtain a valid chemical module based on the content feasibility, language, graphics, and presentation aspects. The research method of developing chemical module using 4-D model consists of four stages: Define (define) stage, Design stage, Development stage and Desseminate stage. However, in the implementation of research only to the stage of development. Data collection techniques using validation sheets given to two validators aim to assess the chemical modules that have been developed. The result of the research shows the acquisition of feasibility aspect of content 97.01%; 100% language feasibility aspect; aspect of 97.91% feasibility of aquality; and the feasibility aspect of 98.21% presentation. So the average validation score of all POE based chemical modules on the colligative nature of the solution is 96.7975% with very good category (very valid). Valid chemical modules are then tested to respondents. The respondents were limited to 4 chemistry teachers from SMA N 5 Pekanbaru and SMA N 8 Pekanbaru and 20 students from SMA N 5 Pekanbaru and SMA N 8 Pekanbaru. Analysis of user response data based on teachers 'sheets and learners' respective responses scored 93.667%. and 89.53%. Average overall validation scores and limited validity testing of chemical modules based on content feasibility, language, graphics, and presentation aspects and can be used in the learning process.Keywords: Chemical Module, POE (Predict, Observe, Explain), Colligative Properties ofSolutionJOM

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of research are to know the improvement of student learning achievement and value of influence by implementing of learning model probing prompting on the structure ofatoms in the class X SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The from on the study was an experiment with a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted two class, class X MIPA 4 as experiment class and class X MIPA 3 as control class randomly determined after the normality test using Liliefors testand homogenity test. Instrument in this research is a question of atomic structure that has been test validation and reliability. The Results LKPD of the test is 89,5% and results reliability of the test is 0,937. Hypothesis was done by using test-t right side. Research result shown that the implementation of learning model probing-prompting can improve students learning achievement on the strukture of atoms where tcount=3,14> ttable = 1,66.Key Words : Learning ModelProbing-Prompting, Learning Achievement, Structure of Atomic
