Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of formative-sumative evaluation model on student learning motivation in geography teaching planning course. The type of this research is evaluation research with quantitative approach. Data were obtained through documentation technique and questionnaire. The collected data is processed by multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the summative-formative evaluation obtained an average of 73.8 and 79.4. In the internal motivation aspect, the result of the questionnaire shows that 100% of students are interested in the subject, interest / willingness to learn, curiosity, enthusiasm to ask, opinion during PBM, enthusiastic to do and complete the task, and enthusiastic in cooperation very well. While the aspect of external motivation shows that 54.8% of the facilities support the smooth learning process, the atmosphere is conducive, the results are very good, and parents are proud of the value obtained by the students. Learning by using formative-sumative evaluation model has a significant effect on students learning motivation, as evidenced from the results of multiple linear regression analysis which shows that Fcount = 4,528 is greater than Ftable = 3.34, then Ho is rejected. Thus it is known that the formative-sumative evaluation model has a significant effect on students learning motivation in Geography teaching planning course.

Abstract

Writing essays is one of the writing skills taught to grade IV students at SD Negeri 26 Talang Kelapa. However, many spelling mistakes were still found in students' writings. For this reason, the problem in this study was the spelling mistakes found in students' essays in Indonesian subject at grade IV of elementary schools. The purpose of this study was to describe the spelling mistakes found in students' essays in Indonesian subjects at grade IV of elementary school. The object of this study was the spelling mistakes found in the students' essays. The informants in this study were students and teachers of class IV SD Negeri 26 Talang Kelapa Kabupaten Banyuasin. This research utilized a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through documentation and interviews. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawings. The results of this study indicated that the mistakes were in using capital letters, fullstop, commas, and pronouns. This is because students did not understand the right spelling in writing. The students had difficulties in writing essays since they paid less attention to the teacher's explanations in Indonesian subjects. Thus, the teacher needed to improve students' understanding of the use of spelling.

Abstract

In the world of education the term evaluation is very important because one of the competencies that must be mastered by the teacher is the evaluation of learning. One form of assessment in the learning process is a summative test that can be a determinant of the process of student learning outcomes, but in the field of evaluation and assessment there are many shortcomings in its application so researchers are interested in researching about the Evaluation of Sumative Tests on Student Learning Outcomes. This research was conducted at the State High School 1 Gelumbang using quantitative methods. Data obtained from the documentation and distribution of questionnaires to students of class XI IPS with a population of 90 people but taken as many as 60 people using random sampling techniques. The results of this study were analyzed using the hypothesis test and homogeneity test to obtain the results of this study in the form of t-count ≥ t-table (13,529> 1,995) Then it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between summative evaluation with student learning outcomes by 73%, while the remaining 27% is influenced by another factor.

Abstract

This devotion was carried out at SD Negeri 16 Indralaya Utara, Palembang City. This service is aimed to elementary school teachers in using augmented reality (AR)-based learning media through the assemblr application. This service uses training methods and practices. This service concluded that the knowledge of elementary school teachers about the use of augmented reality (AR)-based learning media through the assemblr application increased before and after training and practice. This increase can be seen from the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 16 Indralaya Utara Kota Palembang. Pengabdian ini ditujukan untuk melatih guru-guru Sekolah Dasar dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality (AR) melalui aplikasi assemblr. Pelatihan ini menggunakan metode pelatihan dan praktik. Pengabdian ini disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan guru-guru Sekolah Dasar tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality (AR) melalui aplikasi assemblr meningkat sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan dan praktik. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari perbandingan nilai pre tes dan post tes.

Abstract

Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) adalah kerangka penjenjangan kualifikasi kompetensi yang menyandingkan, menyetarakan, dan mengintegrasikan antara bidang pendidikan dan bidang pelatihan kerja serta pengalaman kerja dalam rangka pemberian pengakuan kompetensi kerja sesuai dengan struktur pekerjaan di berbagai sektor. Pelaksanaan kurikulum KKNI di Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi  telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2016, akan tetapi belum dilakukan evaluasi lebih lanjut pada standar proses pembelajaran sehingga belum terlihat capaian pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi pelaksanaan standar proses pembelajaran KKNI berdasarkan model evaluasi CIPP (context, input, process, product), hambatan, dan tindak lanjut yang harus dilakukan dalam upaya meningkatkan dan perbaikan kualitas pembelajaran KKNI.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan subjek penelitiannya mahasiswa dan dosen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komponen evaluasi context pada aspek kondisi lingkungan belajar dan karakteristik proses pembelajaran pada kategori sangat baik. Komponen evaluasi input menunjukkan aspek perencanaan proses pembelajaran dan sarana prasarana pada kategori sangat baik. Komponen evaluasi process menunjukkan aspek pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran pada kategori sangat baik, dan komponen evaluasi product menunjukkan pada prestasi akademik mahasiswa pada kategori baik. Dengan demikian, pelaksanaan standar  pembelajaran KKNI Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Adapun hambatan dalam pelaksanaan standar proses pembelajaran KKNI ini adalah sulitnya melakukan penyesuaian kurikulum lama dan baru dan kebingungan mahasiswa terhadap perubahan kurikulum. Tindak lanjutnya yaitu program studi lebih meningkatkan kualitas standar proses pembelajaran agar tujuan pembelajaran lulusan dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) mahasiswa melalui Creative Problem Solving (CPS) pada Mata Kuliah Pengelolaan Pendidikan Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi Universitas PGRI Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester 5 (lima) yang berjumlah 28 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument angket dan tes bentuk uraian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis higher order thinking skill (HOTS) melalui creative problem solving (CPS) dapat meningkatkan kognitif mahasiswa. Ini dibuktikan dari hasil instrument angket yang menunjukkan 84,3% mahasiswa menjawab baik dalam menggunakan pendapat, ide atau gagasan yang relevan dengan topik bahasan, 86,4% mahasiswa menjawab sangat baik dalam memberikan alternative solusi terhadap permasalahan yang ditemukan pada topik bahasan. Sementara itu, hasil tes bentuk uraian menunjukkan bahwa 42,9% dari 28 mahasiswa menjawab dengan kategori baik pada rentang nilai 70 s.d 84 dan 53,6% dari 28 mahasiswa menjawab dengan sangat baik pada rentang nilai 85 s.d 100. Adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil tes uraian, yaitu, (1) mahasiswa mampu menjawab dengan baik soal yang diberikan, (2) mahasiswa menjelaskan dengan baik masalah yang ditemukan berdasarkan pengamatan (pengetahuan mahasiswa terhadap permasalahan pendidikan), (3) mahasiswa memberikan ide dan gagasan yang kreatif dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, (4) mahasiswa dapat memberikan solusi alternative dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, salah satunya melalui peningkatan kualifikasi akademik tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan. Dengan demikian, Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) melalui Creative Problem Solving (CPS) dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif mahasiswa pada Mata Kuliah Pengelolaan Pendidikan Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi Universitas PGRI Palembang.

Abstract

Online learning is learning that uses technology such as electronic devices. In this case, a teacher must have other alternative ways to deliver learning materials in order to arouse students' enthusiasm for learning. The information search method is one of the learning methods that can be used by a teacher in teaching during online learning, namely by giving students the freedom to seek answers or information from any source in accordance with the related material. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of online learning using the information search method on the learning outcomes of fifth grade science subjects at Kemala Bhayangkari Elementary School. The research subject is the fifth grade of SD Kemala Bhayangkari. This type of research is True Experimental Design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results showed that after the pretest, treatment, and posttest were carried out in the experimental class, the average value of the pretest on science learning outcomes was 67.29 while the posttest average value of science learning outcomes was 86.66 and the results of the t-test calculation showed that > ​​( 4,967 > 2,201). So it can be stated that it is accepted and rejected, so it can be concluded that online learning using the information search method is effective for the fifth grade science subject at SD Kemala Bhayangkari.

Abstract

Problem-solving is a process or individual effort to respond or overcome obstacles or obstacles when an answer or answer method is not yet clear. This means that problem solving can make students create new ideas or techniques in a problem. Based on this, the problem in this study is how the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in the volume of space in the fifth-grade students of SDN 176 Palembang is solved. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade students in the volume of building materials. The results showed that the mathematical problem-solving ability (1) students were in high category, students were able to understand the problem correctly, were able to make a were able to carry out the appropriate stages of the problem-solving ability indicator correctly, able to make conclusions answers obtained. (2) moderate category students, students can carry out problem-solving steps such as planning to solving problems. (3) low category students, students cannot find out the problem and carry out problem-solving steps according to indicators such as planning, solving problems and making conclusions from the answers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know creative thinking skills of PGSD’s students to design the essay test to increase student’s soft skills. Subject of research are students in 4 semester that consist of 45 students. Method of this research is qualitative research with date collecting technique by test and documentation. The result of research show that 53,3% of 45 students achieved the good score. The students could be able elaborated the essay test through the creativity using by picture in order to student in elementary school understand it. The essay test which had been made more creative and adjusted cognitive level. Furthermore, 8,88% of 45 students achieved the enough categories and 2,22% achieved the less category. This is due to the essay test not being able to develop the material properly, both from grids and scoring guidelines. Overall the average value obtained is 77,42% in the good category. Thus, students’ creative thinking skills such as fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration can improve students’ soft skills in designing the essay test in 5th grade elementary school.
