Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes IPS by using media images to the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 008 Tanjung Alam District of Fullness of Rokan Hulu. The method used was classroom action research model Mc Kemmis hashtag. The results showed that there was an increase in the results of social studies class IV SDN 008 Desa Tanjung Alam Fullness Fullness Eastern District of learning outcomes pratindakan current class average is 65.76, for completeness there are 12 students or 48% and was not finished there are 13 students or 52 %

Abstract

This study aims to look at democratic education in the Election of Regent and Deputy Regent of Rokan Hulu. Considering this is very important to do for theimprovement of democracy from the point of view of the future elections. To achieve these objectives the researcher did: first, the collected data will be analyzed descriptively qualitatively by taking the main points conveyed by the research subjects. Second, make an assessment and observation of the main data or additional data which is then adjusted to the real situation in the field. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Regent and Deputy Regent Election has been going well starting from every stage that has been regulated in the KPU's laws and regulations. Although there are still records of future improvements, namely the issue of participation which is still relatively low, the issue of recruitment of organizers at the lower level and the existence of a lawsuit over the results of the dispute at the Constitutional Court (MK). Therefore, improvements are needed in the implementation of the election of regents and deputy regents in order to achieve quality democracy.

Abstract

Implementation of curriculum 2013 that applied to school and madrassa has its own characteristics. Likewise the learning model is applied to the new curriculum. Learning model as a conceptual framework that describes a systematic procedure in organizing learning experiences to achieve specific learning objectives, and serves as a guideline for the designers of learning and teachers in planning and implementing learning activities. The learning model is a very important thing to be noticed by implementing learning. Teachersare the spearhead ofimplementinglearning in the classroom. Learning success or failure is entirely in the hands of teachers, especially in social science learning. On the Elementry / Islamic Elementary social studies contain material geography, history, sociology, and economics. Social science subjects are arranged in a systematic, comprehensive, and integrated in the learning process towards maturity and success in life in society. By studying the social science is expected to learners will gain a wider understanding and depth in science-related fields.
