Abstract

Job Promotion is an appreciation from the company as a form of appreciation to employees for working well and maximally. An important reason the company must provide selection to its employees, so that the employees selected for promotion have higher quality than other employees. This is done so that employees have the motivation to upgrade themselves to be better. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Education, Skills, Attitudes and Communication on Job Promotion at Lorin Solo Hotel. This research was conducted using primary data as many as 135 respondents who are employees at Lorin Solo Hotel. The technique used is descriptive quantitative which uses questionnaires, interviews and literature studies. The data collection uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The test used multiple linear regression analysis and performed classical assumption test and data quality test. The results of the study concluded that Education, Attitudes and Communication had a positive effect on Position Promotion. Meanwhile, skills have no effect on promotion of positions at Lorin Solo Hotel. Simultaneously Education, Skills, Attitudes and Communication have an effect on Position Promotion where F count > F table is 5.059 2.4388. The value of determination (R2) is 50.8% Keywords : Education, Skill, Attitude, Communication, Job Promotions

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to determine the influence of discipline, satisfaction, flexibility, and work environment on the employees performance. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. Samples use saturated samples, the entire population is sampled. The sample in this study were all employees of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes in Central Java II, amounting to 152 person. Data collection is obtained through questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) discipline have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, (2) satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, (3) flexibility have insignificant influence on employee performance, (4) work environment have a positive and significant influence on employee performance

Abstract

The research aims at finding out the influence of the following variables; leadership, discipline, motivation, and organizational culture toward teacher performance in SMP Batik Surakarta both simultaneously and partially. The researcher employs descriptive quantitative research. The population is 45 teachers in SMP Batik Surakarta. The researcher also employs the census technique for sampling technique which consists of 45 respondents. Data collecting technique is using questionnaire while data analyzing technique is using statistical analysis with multiple linear regression test. The finding of the research shows that leadership, discipline, motivation, and organizational culture contribute significant influence toward teacher affected by other variables such as competence, work environment, and others. Abstract

This research aims to determine the simultaneous or partial effect of product innovation, price, promotion and brand image variables on purchasing decisions of PT Intan Pariwara Junior high School book in Surakarta area. This research method uses a quantitative research design. The population in this study were junior high school teachers in Surakarta City who used books published by PT Intan Pariwara. The sampling technique used in this research is Simple Random Sampling technique with a sample size of 100 respondents. Collecting data by using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was statistical analysis, namely multiple linear regression, F test, t test, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that product innovation, price, promotion and brand image simultaneously and significantly influenced purchasing decisions of PT Intan Pariwara Junior high School book in Surakarta area. Variables that product innovation, price, promotion and brand image affect the decision to stay. Suggestions from this research, PT Intan Pariwara continues to improve product innovation, price, promotion and existing brand image, so that it will make purchasing decisions from consumers will also increase and become better than before.
