Abstract

Studying  language use as a part of the culture has been carried out for many years in many parts of the world, including in Indonesia. Indonesia which has various cultures has hundreds of local languages in which one of them is Javanese spoken in Tegal. This study is aimed at exploring how the Javanese dialect spoken in Tegal is used in drama radio programs on Pertiwi Radio of Slawi, the capital city of Tegal Regency.The data of the research are in the forms of uttrerances spoken by the characters of the drama containing requestive speech acts using a sociopragmatic approach. The findings of the research show that requestive utterances found in the drama are expressed both directly and indirectly. The direct requestive speech acts are mostly conveyed in utterances with imperative mood,  while indirect requestive ones are in the forms of declarative and interrogative utterances. The choice of utterances is influenced by context of social factors where the language is used and is related to request strategy.

Abstract

An Elastic Impedance inversion was carried out  to determine sandstone reservoir characterization of “Ve” Field Cibulakan Formation, Northwest Java Basin. There are many steps of data processing to analize a well log data in order to get sensitive angle of lithologic characterization. Mudrock Line equation was applied to obtain Vs log data of the research target zone. The next step, we did Well seismic tie toobtain horizon that approach the real geological zone. Initial model was made by used a control well andDST 5 horizon. Sparse Spike inversion gives the most accurate result than two other one. According to thevolume inversion, we plotted to a map show the contrast of sandstone lithology. Based on Elastic Impedanceinversion analysis, we estimate the rangeof sandstone reservoir impedance:1348 (m/s)gr/cc – 1365(m/s)2gr/cc. Crossplot analysis result between log Elastic Impedance and log Gamma Ray shows that 35isthe best angle of the sandstone and shale lithologic sparation.Keyword: Elastic Impedance, AVO, inversion, Mudrock Lin

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the social interaction among the religious elites in Palangka Raya. The focus of this writing was the patterns of interaction among the religious elites, the encouraging factors of interaction, and the implications of interaction among the religious communities towards the social life among the religious communities in Palangka Raya. This research is a field research using a qualitative method. The data was collected through observation and interview. It was concluded that the interaction among the religious elites in Palangka Raya was supported by the integrative strengths which enable the harmonious relationship among the religious elites. These integrative strengths were the cultural values which have rooted and have been inherited to the next generations, especially to Dayak society. The religious difference in Dayak culture is not seen as the opposing form, but as a human right and a personal choice of each person. On this level the patterns of interaction which will be formed is integrative solidarity. The harmonious relationship among the religious elites then has implications towards the social life among the religious communities. These implicationswere the realization of the harmonious and collaborative relationships among the religious communities in Palangka Raya.  Paper ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis interaksi sosial antara elit agama di Palangka Raya. Fokus kajian dalam tulisan ini terkait dengan pola interaksi elit agama, faktor pendorong interaksi, dan implikasi interaksi antara elit agama terhadap kehidupan sosial antar umat beragama di Kota Palangka Raya.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif.Untuk memperoleh data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara.Hasil temuan dapat disimpulkan bahwa interaksi antarelit agama di Kota Palangka Raya ditopang oleh kekuatan integratif yang memungkinkan terjadinya hubungan harmonis antara elit agama.Kekuatan integratif tersebut adalah nilai-nilai budaya yang telah mengakar dan diwariskan secara turun-temurun khususnya pada masyarakat Dayak. Perbedaan agama dalam budaya Dayak tidak dipandang sebagai bentuk pertentangan, tetapi sebagai hak asasi dan pilihan pribadi setiap orang. Pada tataran ini pola interaksi yang akan terbentuk adalah bersifat solidaritas integratif. Hubungan yang harmonis antara elit agama kemudian berimplikasi pada kehidupan sosial antarumat beragama di Palangka Raya. Implikasi tersebut terutawa terwujudnya hubungan yang harmonis dan kolaboratif antarumat beragama di Palangka Raya.

Abstract

Misek tradition is known as the proposing procession of the Dayak Ngaju community in Central Kalimantan before marriage. This tradition is still preserved by the indigenous people, even though they have converted to Islam. As a law that lives in society, misek has become the nation's cultural heritage and, at the same time, enriches the national cultural treasures of Indonesia. The presence of Islam in the lives of the Dayak Ngaju community did not immediately eradicate the misek tradition. Progressive Islamic law has an elastic accommodation to adapt misek cultural values. This research aimed to analyze the progressive Islamic law and misek tradition of the Dyak Ngaju Community in Central Kalimantan. The research was empirical legal research, with data sources from observation, interviews, and documentation. Accommodation theory is used for the research. The research showed two conclusions. First, Misek's traditional practice has two processes, namely the misek hakumbang auh process (the small proposal procession) and the misek hakumbang hai (the big proposal procession). Second, progressive Islamic law accommodates the cultural values of misek, both misek hakumbang auh and misek hakumbang hai as good customs. The Misek tradition can coexist with Islamic law without losing its traditional identity.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article aims to describe the shifts and changes in the reception model of the Qur'an among the Bakumpai Dayak tribe in Central Kalimantan in the tradition of khatam al-Qur'an (batamat). Batamat is carried out in several important moments, namely when completing Al-Qur'an lessons for children, at weddings, tadarrus at the end of Ramadan, and at death ceremonies. This research employed a qualitative descriptive study of the living Qur'an through fieldwork. The phenomenological approach was used, with Qur'an reception theory as a basis for analysis. The results of the study indicated that in Bakumpai Dayak community, Batamat has an aesthetic function and a performative function. Furthermore, there has been a shift in the performative function of the Al-Qur'an from initially being a pure guidebook and ritual, to indicating social status in society and promoting egalitarian values ​​between men and women. Keyword: Batamat, Dayak Bakumpai, Performative Function, Quran Reception.   ABSTRAK Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk pergeseran dan perubahan yang terjadi dalam model resepsi Al-Qur’an di kalangan suku Dayak Bakumpai di Kalimantan Tengah dalam tradisi khataman Al-Qur’an (batamat). Batamat dilaksanakan dalam beberapa momen penting, yaitu saat menyelesaikan pelajaran Al-Qur’an bagi anak-anak dan remaja, saat pernikahan, tadarus pada akhir bulan Ramadhan, serta saat kema­tian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kaualitatif living Qur’an dalam bentuk penelitian lapangan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pende­katan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan fenomenologis dengan menggu­nakan teori resepsi Al-Qur’an sebagai pijakan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam masyarakat Dayak Bakumpai, Batamat memiliki fungsi estetika dan fungsi performatif. Lebih jauh, terdapat adanya perubahan dalam fungsi performatif atas Al-Qur’an dari yang awalnya menjadi kitab petunjuk dan ritual murni, kemudian bergeser menjadi penunjuk status sosial dalam masyarakat dan promosi nilai egalitarian antara laki-laki dan perempuan.  Kata kunci: Batamat, Dayak Bakumpai, Fungsi performatif, Resepsi Al-Quran,

Abstract

Writing is complex skills for EFL learners. In this Covid-19 pandemic, the teacher should held online learning to help students in learning. This study aimed to answer: (1&2) is there any significant improvement of students’ writing performance as were as the students’ motivation level after being taught with online Hypnoteaching strategy. The design of this study was a quasi-experimental study that used nonequivalent control group design. The researcher chose 70 students as the sample. The researcher applied online Hypnoteaching for 6 weeks. Result of the study showed that (1) the average gain for experimental group is 64.5343 and control group is 8.4054. The  Value (Sig) .000 greater than α, which means there is a significant improvement in writing skills after being taught with Hypnoteaching strategy; (2)The  Value Sig. (2-tailed) .003 greater than α. Thus, there is a significant difference on students’ motivation level after being taught with Hypnoteaching strategy. The researcher would explicate more on discussion part.

Abstract

Language has a close relationship with culture, so that language learning often uses cultural content as a learning medium. Therefore this study aims to analyze the cultural content in textbooks for learning Turkish and its relation as a medium of learning between Turkish languages. This study is qualitative research with a literature study approach. The source of the data in this study was the textbook for learning Turkish, namely "Istanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitabı". Data were collected by observing the content in the book. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman qualitative analysis model: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The findings in this study lead to the conclusion that cultural content is a crucial and inseparable part of the substance of the book "Istanbul Yabancılar İçin Türkçe Ders Kitabı" as a Turkish language textbook. At this level, the cultural content has two functions at once: bridging understanding related to Turkish grammar and representing the cultural identity of the Turkish people to international students.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine how the readiness of grade IV and V teachers in thematic learning planning in SD / MI in Central Kalimantan. This research used descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research was conducted in 7 schools spread across 1 city and 2 districts in Central Kalimantan. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman with data validation techniques triangulation techniques. The results of this study showed that in the context through needs analysis, it is known that the curriculum used by 5 schools is the Thematic curriculum, while the other 2 schools use the Merdeka curriculum. As for the preparation oflesson plan(RPP) learning tools, it was done in teams by the teacher concerned, the input obtained is learning tools, along with materials, teaching materials, methods, and learning strategies. As for the learning process of the Thematic curriculum, 70% is carried out by permapel, and the resulting product is a form of final assessment using digital madrasa report(RDM) anddigital report application(ARD).The implication of this study was to provide an evaluation of the use of the CIPP Model (Context, Input, Process, Product) model, so that it can be a reference to develop and have an impact on improving the quality of learning through the right model in learning, especially in thematic learning.

Abstract

The background to this research is that if a dispute occurs between Dayak people, especially those living in West Kotawaringin Regency, some choose to resolve the problem peacefully through the Bapalas custom. A traditional Mantir leads the Bapalas tradition, and the decision of this traditional Mantir is firm because it follows the elements of article 1320 BW. In article 1320 BW, there are four conditions for an agreement's validity: agreement, skill, a sure thing, and a lawful cause. So, if it is related to article 1320 BW, problems that occur in society can be resolved with an agreement. This tradition of Bapalas in the people of West Kotawaringin Regency follows Islamic law, known as Islah or peaceful problem-solving in Islam. This research analyzes the legal certainty aspect of traditional Mantir decisions in Bapalas. This research method is a field research method, and the approach is qualitative. What is very interesting is that this traditional Mantir can solve various civil and criminal problems. For criminal cases, several cases, such as fights and abuse, can also be resolved using the Bapalas method. The basis of this Dayak traditional institution is Central Kalimantan Province Regional Regulation Number 16 of 2008 concerning Dayak Traditional Institutions in Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ad-dhuha dusun Purwasari yang dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar belajar siswa dan rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hal itu dikarenakan dalam proses pembelajaran belum menggunakan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan secara kolaboratif antara guru dengan peneliti. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan menggunakan desain penelitian Kemmis and Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan pengamatan, refleksi dan perencanaan ulang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ad-dhuha dusun Purwasari, yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan, imgatan, pemahaman, menjelaskan, meringkas, menerapkan, menguraikan, merencanakan, menilai. Hasil pengamatan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran berupa media wayang telah memenuhi indicator keberhasilan penelitian yaitu 70% pada masing-masing indicator hasil belajar.persentase hasil belajar siswa pada prasiklus adalah 43,47%, pada siklus I menunjukkan 47,82%, dan pada siklus II mencapai 82,60%, sehingga sudah memiliki tingkat keberhasilan dengan predikat baik. Berdasarkan hipotesis tindakan yang dilakukan maka penggunaan media wayang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Kelas V pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ad-dhuha.
