Abstract

This research aims to determine the attitudes of women towards coaching through the integrated program called "Program Terpadu Peningkatan Peranan Wanita Menuju Keluarga Sehat Sejahtera" (PT.P2W-KSS) and to answer the question of whether there is a difference in attitudes between women who are coached through the PT.P2W-KSS program and women who are not coached through the program in Medan Tenggara. The research in in form of quasi-experimental which developed into the comparative technique with an evaluative design that is ex post facto or impact evaluation. The sample in this research is divided into two groups, 45 women respondents who received the coaching through PT.P2W-KSS as the experimental group and other 45 women respondents who did not received the program as the control group. Data analysis techniques and hypothesis testing proposed in this study used non-parametric statistics through the Mann-Whitney test. The determination of this formula is based on the idea that research data includes measurements on an ordinal scale. From the results of the Mann Whitney test with a significance level of 95%, it was found that among the 5 aspects tested the result of Ho was rejected, which means there is a difference in attitudes between women who are coached with women who are not coached through PT.P2W-KSS. This difference reflects the achievement of the program's goal to change women's attitudes. This also affects the ability of women to carry out various roles in the family and community environment optimally.

Abstract

BLT PKH is one form of government program that focuses on assisting the poor in meeting their needs, improving the welfare of poor families, and reducing poverty in Indonesia. BLT itself originated from 2005 presidential instruction number 12, which was carried out by the President who served at that time, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and his deputy, Jusuf Kalla. The purpose of this research is to measure the effectiveness of BLT PKH in improving the welfare of the families of pedicab drivers in Kartini Village, Binjai Kota, as BLT recipients, based on theories, variables, and also real events in the field. This research is qualitative, with data collection techniques carried out by combining (triangulation) the processes of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, which are then analyzed by researchers qualitatively and concluded with drawing conclusions from the results of the research that has been done. The results of the family welfare research are not fully influenced by the effectiveness of BLT PKH. It is recommended that the government continue to supervise and program similar assistance programs to continue to overcome the problems of poverty in Indonesia.

This research is of a qualitative type with data collection techniques in the research carried out by combining (triangulating) the process of in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Then the data was analyzed by the researcher qualitatively and ended by drawing conclusions from the results of the research that had been carried out. The results of the research show that children's rights in the life of child hawkers are not fulfilled. It is recommended that the community continue to pay full attention to children who work as hawkers and also help reduce children's dependence on work as hawkers.
