Abstract

Salah satu cara yang strategis bagi pendidik untuk meningkatkan dan atau memperbaiki layanan pendidikan dalam konteks pembelajaran di kelas adalah dengan melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), namun fakta di lapangan menunjukkan belum banyak guru melaksanakan PTK. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk: 1) membekali  pemahaman dan wawasan guru-guru tentang penelitian tindakan kelas, 2) meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru dalam menyusun proposal penelitian tindakan kelas. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Yayasan Pendidikan Eben Haezer, Kota Salatiga dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 guru. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan melalui model in-on service training secara online. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan menyusun proposal penelitian tindakan kelas pada semua aspek dengan kriteria baik, sedangkan hasil penyusunan proposal PTK sampai dengan siap untuk diimplementasikan masih kurang. Kegiatan pengabdian akan ditindaklanjuti pada tahap kedua yaitu pendampingan intensif penyelesaian penyusunan proposal, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan hasil PTK.

Abstract

Abstract: Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Online Training to Improve Lecturers Ability in E-Learning Management Using the Kirkpatrick Model. Objectives: This study aims at the effectiveness of online training for lecturers in managing e-learning. This study uses an evaluation evaluation method with the Kirkpatrick model which includes evaluation of reactions, learning, behavior and results. Methods: The research approach is a mixed method with a sequential explanation model, where quantitative methods are used first and then qualitative methods are used in the next stage. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, and interviews. The research subjects are lecturers and students. Qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model and quantitative data were processed descriptively by calculating percentages and categorizing. Findings: The results showed that the reaction aspect was satisfied, learning was in the high category, behavior was in the moderate category and the results were in the good category. Conclusion: it works effectively, but needs improvement in the technical implementation of the training.Keywords: evaluation, e-training, Kirkpatrick, e-learning.Abstrak: Evaluasi Efektivitas Pelatihan Online untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Dosen Dalam Manajemen E-Learning Menggunakan Model Kirkpatrick. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektifitas pelatihan secara online bagi dosen dalam mengelola e-learning. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian evaluasi dengan model Kirkpatrick yang meliputi evaluasi reaksi, belajar, perilaku dan hasil. Metode: Pendekatan penelitian adalah mix method dengan model sequential explanatory, di mana metode kuantitatif digunakan terlebih dahulu kemudian pada tahap berikutnya menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah dosen dan mahasiswa. Data kualitatif dianalisis dengan model Miles and Huberman dan data kuantitatif diolah secara deskriptif dengan menghitung presentase dan pengkategorian. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek reaksi berada pada kategori puas, belajar pada kategori tinggi, perilaku pada kategori cukup dan hasil berada pada kategori baik. Abstract

Research and publication of scientific papers become the main problems in the professional development of teachers. This aims of this research is to develop sustainable professional teacher through research product-based training models and the publication of scientific papers. It analyses the need for a training management model that can increase the professionalism of Christian education subject teachers who are civil servants to produce scientific papers. This research is using qualitative methods with a Research and Development model approach. The data analysis technique used the Mann-Whitney U test technique. Sources of training data are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from the interview process of all training participants, and secondary data was obtained based on the analysis of the training module directory, training directory and examples of training product administrators. The results showed the validity level of the training module was in a good category (72%), the results of scientific papers using the IHT module are higher than before using the training module; the product of scientific papers produced by the teacher has met the requirements for promotion; the resulting training product in the form of scientific papers is useful for improving school performance and teacher motivation for higher careers.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the strategy of financing education in private schools. Based on research conducted by researcher, studies on education financing strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic have not been widely carried out. The research method was conducted through literature studies from national and international journals, government policy documents, and books. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study show that the strategy of financing education during the Covid 19 pandemic mostly goes well with the policy alignments from the government through internet data quota assistance, affirmation and performance School Operational Assistance, scholarships, wage subsidies, and Single Tuition in universities. However, there are several schools, especially private schools that have difficulty paying teacher's salary, teacher welfare declines, and parents who are late paying educational management contribution. The strategy for education financing solutions during the COVID-19 pandemic is that government policies in the form of assistance to students and parents need to be continued, consistency of budget planning by schools, use of budgets that prioritize priority scales, and transparency and accountability in the management of education financing.

Abstract

Principals and teachers play a strategic role in improving the quality of education as shown by the best experience (Best Practice) in carrying out their main tasks and functions. Best practices need to be disseminated and published in order to be a reflection and inspiration for others to improve the quality of education. However, the facts show that principals and teachers do not yet have adequate knowledge and skills in compiling best practice scientific papers. This community service activity aims to improve skills in compiling best practice scientific papers for teachers and principals at Private Education Foundations. The training is carried out online with the following methods: lecture, question and answer, discussion, guidance, and performance. The success of community service is shown by: 1) the number of participants exceeding the target of 50 increases to 53 people; 2) attendance reached 92.96% (very good); 3) The increase in the pre test - post test scores reached 76% (Good); 4) The number of training products reached 71.69% (Good) with a product quality score of 77.80 (Good). This success shows the enthusiasm of the participants and very high awareness of the importance of writing best practices for increasing the professionalism of teachers and principals.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out at the Central Christian Education Institution, Salatiga City. The objective of this activity is to prepare teachers who are selected as prospective principals to understand the concept and implementation of school principal competency standards in the fields of managerial, supervision, and entrepreneurship. Activities are held in the form of online mode-based training. The school development plan is the final product of this training activity. This activity is expected to create prospective school leaders of the Central Christian Education Institution Salatiga who can improve the quality of education through their leadership, creativity, and innovation qualities. The results of this community service activity can improve managerial competence, supervision, and entrepreneurship for prospective principals of the Christian Education Institution Salatiga.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out for school principals and teachers of Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle and High Schools in the city of Salatiga, Semarang Regency, Ambarawa, Boyolali, Nias Islands, Sulawesi, Maluku, Papua and East Nusa Tenggara. This activity aims to equip school principals and teachers in understanding the concepts and practices of implementing the activator school program and free learning curriculum. Activities carried out in the form of online webinars with lecture and discussion methods. The results of community service show that the satisfaction level of participants in the first stage was at a percentage of 93%, in the very satisfactory category, and the satisfaction level of participants in the second stage was at a percentage of 91%, in the very satisfactory category. This shows that the implementation of community service has an impact on increasing participants' knowledge in implementing the activator school program and the independent learning curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menemukan masalah, memecahkan masalah dan mengembangkan pengetahuan baru. Penelitian dapat mengungkap kebenaran secara ilmiah dengan metode penelitian. Metode penelitian sebagai cara yang terencana, sistematis, ilmiah, dan rasional untuk mengumpulkan fakta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam berbagai pendekatan dalam penelitian ilmiah. Objek pembahasan penelitian adalah pendekatan metode kualitatif, kuantitatif dan kombinasi (mix method). Metode penelitian yang dipilih oleh penulis adalah systematic literature review. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengkaji secara mendalam konsep dan penerapan berbagai pendekatan penelitian dalam berbagai penelitian ilmiah terdahulu. Bahan kajian penelitian adalah kajian teoritis dan hasil penelitian terdahulu dari buku, jurnal nasional dan jurnal internasional. Penulis menggunakan analisa data dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode dalam penelitian ilmiah telah mampu menemukan kebenaran dan pengetahuan baru bagi pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan yang bermanfaat bagi kehidupan manusia. Penggunaan metode penelitian mendorong pemecahan masalah secara komprehensif dan holistik.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has had an impact on the implementation of academic supervision. This study aims to develop an online-based academic supervision model. The type of research conducted is research and development (Research and Development). The research subjects were 4 (four) school principals and 17 (seventeen) elementary school teachers. Data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. Qualitative data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Quantitative data obtained through a questionnaire. Quantitative data were analyzed by validation tests and limited trials using quantitative descriptive techniques with mean and percentage. The results showed that the MARIA academic supervision model (M - Mapping, A - Arranging the solution, R - Running the observation, I - Identifying the data, A – Acting the follow up) based on the Edmodo application has an impact on improving the performance of school principals and techers in elemantary schools, with the result of limited product trials on school principals at the 88% level and techers at the 86%  level with a very valid and feasible category to use. The implications of this research were facilitating the implementation of information technology-based supervision, improving the performance of school principals, increasing teacher competence in carrying out learning, and reducing teacher stress when supervised.

Abstract

Peningkatan mutu sekolah perlu perencanaan strategis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan Appreciative Inquiry dalam perencanaan strategis untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan pada Sekolah Dasar. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, para guru dan pengurus Yayasan. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan studi dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari: reduksi data, penyajian data, triangulasi sumber, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian: 1) Perencanaaan strategis memiliki peran penting dalam memberi arah dan petunjuk untuk mencapai visi dan misi sekolah; 2) Implementasi Appreciative Inquiry memberi paradigma baru dalam penyusunan strategi berdasarkan potensi, kekuatan serta sumber daya yang ada untuk meraih masa depan yang lebih baik; 3) Appreciative Inquiry mendorong setiap individu untuk berkontribusi pada organisasinya sesuai dengan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki.Keywords: Appreciative Inquiry, Perencanaan Strategis, Mutu Sekolah
