Abstract

Pendahuluan: Mutu pelayanan merupakan tingkat baik dan buruknya suatu pelayanan yang dapat diberikan oleh pemberi pelayanan. Penilaian mutu pelayanan dapat dilakukan menggunakan dimensi ServQual yang meliputi kehandalan, daya tanggap, jaminan, rasa peduli dan bukti fisik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi dan gambaran penilaian pengguna mengenai mutu pelayanan di Poli Gigi Puskesmas Bogor Timur Kota Bogor. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survei. Penelitian dilakukan dengan observasi langsung dan pengisian kuesioner pada pengguna Poli Gigi Puskesmas Bogor Timur. Hasil: Penilaian responden dilihat dari dimensi ServQual menunjukkan 72,63% responden menyatakan baik pada dimensi kehandalan, 73,68% responden menyatakan baik pada dimensi daya tanggap, 62,11% responden menyatakan baik pada dimensi jaminan,75,79% responden menyatakan baik pada dimensi rasa peduli , dan 60% responden menyatakan baik pada dimensi bukti fisik. Simpulan: Poli Gigi Puskesmas Bogor Timur memiliki mutu pelayanan yang baik dinilai dari dimensi ServQual, namun masih terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu dievaluasi untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan Poli Gigi Puskesmas Bogor Timur.Kata kunci: Mutu pelayanan, poli gigi, Puskesmas. ABSTRACTIntroduction: Service quality is the level of good and bad service that can be provided by service providers. Assessment of service quality can be done using the ServQual dimension which includes reliability, responsiveness, assurance, a sense of caring and physical evidence. The purpose of this study was to obtain information and an overview of the user’s assessment of the quality of service at the Bogor Timur Health Centre Dental Clinic, Bogor City. Methods: The type of research conducted is descriptive research with survey methods. The study was carried out by direct observation and filling out questionnaires to users of East Bogor Public Health Dental Clinic. Result: Respondent’s assessment seen from ServQual dimension shows 72.63% of respondents stated both on the dimensions of reliability, 73.68% of respondents stated that both in the dimensions of responsiveness, 62.11% of respondents stated both in the dimension of assurance, 75.79% of respondents stated good on the dimension of caring, and 60% of respondents stated both in the dimension of physical evidence. Conclusion: Dental Clinic of East Bogor Health Centre has good service quality assessed from the ServQual dimension, but there are still some things that need to be evaluated to improve the quality of East Bogor Public Health Centre Dental Service.Keywords: Service quality, dental clinic, community health centre.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kesehatan gigi dan mulut seseorang dapat dilihat dari status kebersihan gigi dan mulutnya. Status kebersihan gigi dan mulut dapat dinilai menggunakan Debris Index-Simplified (DI-S). Penyuluhan mengenai pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan seseorang dalam menjaga kebersihan rongga mulutnya. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan status kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada siswa Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Al-Majidiyah sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan. Metode: Jenis penelitian adalah pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian adalah 48 responden yang berusia 12-15 tahun. Pemeriksaan DI-S pada responden sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali. Data yang didapatkan kemudian diuji menggunakan uji normalitas. Uji Wilcoxon dilakukan karena data berdistribusi tidak normal. Hasil: Perbedaan indeks debris yang signifikan (nilai p=0,00<0,05) pada siswa Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Al-Majidiyah dengan penurunan nilai rata-rata dari 1,355 menjadi 0,5383 sesudah penyuluhan mengenai pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut sebanyak tiga kali. Simpulan: Terdapat perbedaan status kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada siswa Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Al-Majidiyah menjadi lebih baik sesudah diberikan penyuluhan dibandingkan dengan sebelum diberikan penyuluhan.Kata kunci: Indeks debris, penyuluhan, siswa pondok pesantren, status kebersihan gigi dan mulut. ABSTRACTIntroduction: An individual’s oral health can be seen from their oral hygiene status. Oral hygiene status can be assessed using a Debris Index-Simplified (DI-S). Counselling regarding the maintenance of oral hygiene is one of the efforts to improve individual ability to maintain the oral hygiene. The purpose of the study was to determine the differences in the oral hygiene status of Salafiyah Al-Majidiyah Islamic Boarding School students before and after oral health counselling. Methods: The research was pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The study sample was as much as 48 respondents aged 12 - 15-years-old. The DI-S examination was conducted on respondents before and after three times oral health counselling. The data obtained was then tested using the normality test. The Wilcoxon test was also performed because the data were not normally distributed. Result: There was a significant difference in the debris index (p-value = 0.00 < 0.05) of Salafiyah Al-Majidiyah Islamic Boarding School students, with a decrease in the average value from 1.355 to 0.5383 after three times counselling of oral hygiene maintenance. Conclusion: There was a significant increase in oral hygiene status of Salafiyah Al-Majidiyah Islamic Boarding School students after being given oral health counselling.Keywords: Debris Index-Simplified (DI-S), oral health counselling, Islamic Boarding School students, oral hygiene status.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kesehatan gigi Ibu hamil  sangat perlu dijaga, untuk menghindarkan terjadinya infeksi pada gigi dan gusi. Upaya ini akan menghindarkan dari infeksi yang berisiko yang menyebabkan prematur dan kelahiran berat bayi lahir rendah. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengalaman karies dan kesehatan periodontal dan kebutuhan perawatan ibu hamil. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu hamil yang datang ke Klinik Cantik Banjaran Bandung. Sampel penelitian yaitu ibu hamil yang bersedia menjadi subjek penelitian dan tidak mempunyai kelainan sistemik. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah convinience sampling. Variabel penelitian pengalaman karies diukur dengan indeks DMFT, Kebutuhan perawatan karies adalah perhitungan kebutuhan perawatan berdasarkan penilaian persen kebutuhan perawatan dan kebutuhan perawatan periodontal diukur dengan indeks Community Periodontal Index and Treatment Needs (CPITN). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah distribusi frekuensi relatif. Hasil: Indeks DMFT ibu hamil 4,4 termasuk kriteria sangat rendah. Hasil CPITN yaitu periodontal sehat 0%; bleeding on probing (BOP), 43%; kalkulus, 53%; poket 4-5 mm, 3,3%; poket 6 mm, 0%. Kebutuhan perawatan gigi berlubang pada ibu hamil 30,9%. Kebutuhan perawatan jaringan periodontal diperlukan pada semua ibu hamil, berupa perbaikan oral hygiene 43%, perbaikan oral hygiene dan skeling 56%, Simpulan: Pengalaman karies ibu hamil pada kriteria sangat rendah, sedangkan kondisi jaringan periodontal ibu hamil semuanya memerlukan perawatan jaringan periodontal tetapi bukan perawatan periodontal kompleks.Kata kunci: Ibu hamil, indeks DMFT, indeks CPITN. ABSTRACTIntroduction: The oral health of pregnant women needs to be maintained to avoid infection of the teeth and gums. This effort will avoid dangerous infections that can cause premature and low birth weight babies. The purpose of this study was to determine the caries experience, periodontal health, and the oral treatment needs of pregnant women. Methods: The research method was descriptive. The study population was pregnant women who came to the Cantik Clinic of Banjaran, Bandung, whom willing to be the subject of research with no systemic abnormalities. The sampling technique was convenience sampling. The caries experience was measured by DMFT index. Caries treatment needs were the calculation of treatment needs based on the assessment of general and periodontal treatment needs to be measured by the Community Periodontal Index and Treatment Needs (CPITN) index. Data analysis used was the relative frequency distribution. Results: DMFT index of pregnant women was 4.4, included in the very low criteria. CPITN index measurement results were 0% healthy periodontal; 43% bleeding on probing (BOP); 53% calculus; 3.3% pocket of 4-5 mm; and 0% 6 mm pocket. General treatment needs of pregnant women mostly were tooth decay treatment (30.9%). Periodontal treatment needs were needed for all pregnant women, in the form of oral hygiene improvement only (43%), oral hygiene improvement and scaling (56%). Conclusion: The caries experience of pregnant women was very low, while the periodontal conditions require a non-complex periodontal treatment.Keywords: Pregnant women, DMFT Index, CPITN index.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Gigi dan mulut merupakan organ penting yang harus dijaga kebersihannya. Indeks kebersihan gigi dan mulut diperoleh dari dua komponen yaitu indeks plak dan indeks kalkulus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kebersihan gigi dan mulut siswa usia 11-12 tahun di SDN Cijayana 1 Kabupaten Garut. Metode: Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan teknik survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 51 siswa, terdiri dari 24 siswa laki-laki dan 27 siswa perempuan. Data diperoleh melalui pemeriksaan klinis, menggunakan indeks kebersihan gigi dan mulut dari Greene dan Vermillion. Hasil: Indeks kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada siswa usia 11-12 tahun di SDN Cijayana 1 adalah 2,07. Simpulan: Tingkat kebersihan gigi dan mulut siswa usia 11-12 tahun di SDN Cijayana 1 termasuk kategori sedang.Kata kunci: Kebersihan gigi dan mulut, indeks plak, indeks kalkulus ABSTRACTIntroduction: Teeth and mouth are important organs that must be kept clean. Oral and dental hygiene indexes are obtained from two components, namely plaque index and calculus index. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of dental and oral hygiene of students aged 11-12 years at SDN Cijayana 1 Garut Regency. Methods: This type of research is descriptive with survey techniques. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The number of research samples was 51 students, consisting of 24 male students and 27 female students. Data obtained through clinical examination, using dental and oral hygiene indexes from Greene and Vermillion. Result: Oral and dental hygiene index for students aged 11-12 years at SDN Cijayana 1 is 2.07. Conclusion: The level of dental and oral hygiene of students aged 11-12 years at Cijayana 1 Elementary School is in the moderate category.Keywords: Oral hygiene, plaque index, calculus index

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kesehatan gigi dan mulut merupakan salah satu tolak ukur dalam menilai kesehatan secara umum. Pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut harus diiringi dengan pengetahuan yang baik dan sikap yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut siswa pesantren Salafiyah Al- Majidiyah. Metode: Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil: Penelitian ini diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi Spearman sebesar 0,91591 dengan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai p sebesar 0,18155 atau p>0,05, menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Simpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut siswa Pesantren Salafiyah Al-Majidiyah.Kata kunci: Pengetahuan, sikap, pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut, pesantren. ABSTRACTIntroduction: Oral and dental health is one of the benchmarks in assessing general health. Maintenance of dental and oral health must be accompanied by good knowledge and the right attitude. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between knowledge and the attitude of maintaining dental and oral health of students of the Salafiyah Al-Majidiyah pesantren. Methods: The research used is descriptive correlation. Sampling using total sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Results: This study obtained Spearman correlation coefficient value of 0.91591 with hypothesis testing obtained p value of 0.18155 or p> 0.05, indicating that there was no significant relationship between knowledge and dental and oral health maintenance attitudes. Conclusion: There is no relationship between knowledge and the attitude of maintaining dental and oral health of students of the Salafiyah Al-Majidiyah Islamic Boarding School.Keywords: Knowledge, attitude, oral health care, Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kepuasan merupakan perbandingan harapan dengan kinerja yang dirasakan pelanggan/pengguna. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menilai kepuasan pengguna jasa pelayanan kesehatan di Rumah Sakit. Metode: Jenis penelitian deskriptif survei. Populasi adalah pengguna Rumah Sakit Umum Bahteramas Kendari. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purpoisive sampling, penelitian dilakukan  dengan memberikan kuesioner kepuasan pengguna rumah sakit. Sampel terjaring 200 orang. Variable penelitian adalah kepuasan pengguna rumah sakit dengan 14 (empat belas) indikator. Hasil: Indikator prosedur pelayanan dan indikator persyaratan pelayanan mempunyai indeks kepuasan yang kurang sedangkan indikator kejelasan petugas, kedisiplinan petugas, tanggung jawab petugas, kemampuan petugas, kecepatan petugas, keadilan memdapatkan pelayanan, kesopanan dan keramahan petugas, kepastian jadwal pelayanan, kenyamanan lingkungan dan keamanan lingkungan masing-masing indicator mempunyai nilai indeks kepuasan yang baik. Secara keseluruhan indeks kepuasan Rumah sakit Umum Bahteramas Kendari mempunyai indeks kepuasan katagori B yaitu baik. Simpulan: Pengguna jasa merasakan kepuasan jasa pelayanan kesehatan Rumah Sakit Umum Bahtera Mas Kendari.Kata kunci: Kepuasan pengguna, dimensi pelayanan, rumah sakit. ABSTRACTIntroduction: Satisfaction is a comparison of expectations with the performance perceived by the customer / user. The purpose of this study was to assess the satisfaction of users of health services in hospitals. Methods: Type of survey descriptive research. The population is the user of Bahteramas Kendari General Hospital. Sampling was done by purpoisive sampling. The research was carried out by giving satisfaction questionnaires to hospital users. Samples netted 200 people. The research variable is the satisfaction of hospital users with 14 (fourteen) indicators. Results: Service procedure indicators and service requirements indicators have a lack of satisfaction index, while indicators of clarity of officers, discipline of officers, responsibilities of officers, ability of officers, speed of officers, fairness get service, politeness and friendliness of officers, certainty of service schedules, environmental comfort and environmental security each indicator has a good satisfaction index value. Overall satisfaction index of Bahteramas Kendari General Hospital has category B satisfaction index which is good. Conclusion: Service users feel the satisfaction of the health services of the Bahtera Mas Kendari General Hospital.Keywords: User satisfaction, service dimensions, hospital.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Kebiasaan merokok sudah melekat di masyarakat Indonesia dan tidak lagi dianggap sebagai suatu kebiasaan buruk. Terdapat beberapa jenis rokok, diantaranya adalah rokok kretek. Rokok mengandung berbagai zat yang berbahaya bagi tubuh. Salah satu efek buruk rokok adalah smoker’s melanosis yang merupakan kelainan pigmentasi di rongga mulut. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran klinis smoker’s melanosis pada perokok kretek ditinjau dari lama merokok. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan metode survei. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 80 orang dengan menggunakan teknik stratified sampling. Hasil: Sebanyak 46,3% responden yang mengalami pigmentasi meluas ternyata memiliki kebiasaan merokok kretek lebih dari 20 tahun. Simpulan: Frekuensi pigmentasi meluas paling banyak terdapat pada kelompok perokok yang sudah merokok selama lebih dari 20 tahun.Kata kunci: Rokok kretek, smoker’s-melanosis, lama merokok ABSTRACTIntroduction: Smoking habit has been inherent among Indonesian people and no longer considered as a bad habit. There are several types of cigarettes such as kretek cigarettes. Cigarettes contain many substances that harmful to the body. One of the negative effect from cigarettes is smoker’s melanosis which is known as pigmentation disorder in the oral cavity. The aim of this research was to know the clinical feature of smoker’s melanosis in kretek cigarettes smokers from smoking’s duration. Method: This research was done in a descriptive survey method. Samples taken as many as 80 people using stratified sampling. Result: 46,3% of respondents who experienced widespread pigmentation turned out to have a habit of kretek cigarettes smoking for more than 20 years. Conclusion: the frequency of the most widespread pigmentation found in the group of smokers who have been smoking for over 20 years.Keywords: Kretek cigarettes, smoker’s melanosis, smoking’s duration

Abstract

Introduction: One of the human rights is the right to live prosperously. Indonesian government provides social security for workers, namely the Social Security Administrator for Employment (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan). Social Security Administrator for Employment has a specific set of regulations set by the government. Social Security Administrator for Employment participants obtains the value of benefits through the social security program. This study was aimed to analyse the relationship between regulations and the value of benefits obtained by BPJS Employment participants. Methods: This research was a correlational descriptive study with a survey method. Results: Most respondents stated strongly agree with the regulations of Social Security Administrator for Employment (85.09%), and most respondents felt that they gained a lot of the value of benefits as expected (83.80%). The results of the Spearman correlation test between the Social Security Administrator for Employment regulations with the values obtained by respondents, which resulted in p = 0.0001 with α = 0.05. The p-value that lower than the α indicates a significant relationship. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the regulations of Social Security Administrator for Employment and the values obtained for the participants, with the direction of positive correlation and the moderate correlation strength.

Abstract

Introduction: Caries risk assessment is an effort performed to determine the causes of dental caries and the caries risk of the children. The purpose of the study was to determine the caries risk of pre-school children and the possible preventive home-treatment in reducing the risk. Methods: This research was descriptive with sampling method used was the total sampling technique. Data were collected using the Irene’s Donuts caries risk form to determine the caries risk and preventive treatment of the children. Caries risk assessment data was presented in the form of frequency distribution tables. Results: The first-year research resulted as follows: distribution of caries risk frequency based on the interview conducted towards the parents in Ulul Azmi and Amanah Kindergarten, regarding their education, age, children’s habits, showed that the highest risk (88.9%) in both kindergartens was found in children who still drink milk with pacifier bottles until more than four-years-old. The second highest risk amongst Ulul Azmi Kindergarten students (88.9%) was found in children with daily candy consumption; the highest risk amongst Arroyyan Kindergarten (90%) was tooth decay which considered not interfering the children’s development with the pH level below 6.5. Regarding the treatment choice of the students, the most choices taken amongst Ulul Azmi Kindergarten parents were helping their children brush their teeth at night before bedtime; assuring the children’s sufficient water consumption in Amanah Kindergarten parents; assuring the children’s vegetable and fruits contained menu in Arroyyan Kindergarten parents. Conclusion: The highest caries risk of pre-school children is tooth decay, with the possible preventive home-treatment, were helping the children to brush their teeth at night before bedtime, assuring the children’s sufficient water consumption, and assuring the children’s vegetable and fruits contained menu.

Abstract

Introduction: Customer trust is a tribute to officers or institutions performances and sacrifices. In the health marketing system, the relationship among health workers, doctors, patients or health service users is essential. The declining of women’s health will have an impact on the overall life qualities of the community and eventually will decrease the Indonesian Human Development Index. The purpose of this research was to analyze the customer trust of women’s inpatient in hospitals at West Java and determine the most influential dimensions and indicators of the women’s inpatient customer trust. Methods: This research was explanatory research conducted with the survey method with the sample size of 398 respondents. The unit of analysis was a hospital in West Java, while the observation unit was the inpatient community group which considers inadequate and gets health financing subsidies from the government in 42 hospitals from 28 cities or regencies in the West Java provinces. The sampling method was multistage sampling and the research tool was a questionnaire. Customer trust variable had two dimensions: honesty and benevolence; each with five indicators. The statistical analysis method used in this research was the Wilcoxon test and partial least square test. Results: Both dimensions were dominant in measuring the customer trust variables with loading factor values which relatively similar to 0.831 for benevolence and 0.831 for honesty. Hospital staff as a dominant indicator of benevolence, given the loading factor value at 0.819 and R2 value at 0.480; hospital staff with integrity as a dominant indicator for honesty, given the loading factor value at 0.825 and R2 value at 0.472.  Conclusion: Women’s customer trust of inpatient services in hospitals at West Java is in good condition. Honesty and benevolence dimension also has the same value in measuring women’s customer trust. The most dominant indicator in measuring the dimension of benevolence is hospital staff and hospital staff with integrity for the honesty dimension.Keywords: Customer trust, women, inpatient service, hospital.
