Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of play therapy with hand puppet media in group guidance on the socio-emotional of students of SMP Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is pre-experimental using a quantitative approach. In this study design using a research design one group pre-test post-test design. The research subjects were 5 students who have low socio-emotional levels. Hypothesis testing used by researchers is the Wilcoxon signed ranks test. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the average socio-emotional score of students of SMP Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya from the mean pre-test 76.80 to the post-test mean value of 96.60 which means that play therapy with hand puppet media in group guidance affects socio-emotional. students (Asymp. Sig = 0.043; Asymp. Sig = 0.043 <α = 0.05). Based on the results of the study, it was proven that the use of play therapy with hand puppet media in group guidance had an effect on increasing students' socio-emotional.

Abstract

Education can not be separated from the emergence of various problems, one of which is the lack of discipline in student learning in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group counseling services with self-management strategies on the discipline of learning of class XI IPS 2 SMA GIKI 1 Surabaya. The data collection instruments used in this research were observation and measurement scale. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample obtained amounted to 5 students with low criteria. The research data analysis technique used the normality test and the t test. The results of data analysis show that the results of learning discipline that have been treated with self-management strategies are better than before getting treated. The result of the hypothesis test is a pretest of 93.80 and a posttest value of 122.0, namely 122.0> 93.80, while the results of the t test show 0.00 <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in the results of learning discipline using group counseling with self-management strategies in class XI IPS 2 SMA GIKI 1 Surabaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of cell-management techniques in group counseling through google meet to increase student interest in online learning during the covid-19 pandemic at Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. The experimental method with the One Group Pretest-Postest Design is the method in this study. This study selected five subjects from class X IPS 1 who experienced low and very low category of interest in learning. In this study, it was found that 5 people experienced a very low and very low interest in learning, after the subject went through the treatment into a high and very high category, who experienced a high interest in learning, using the SPSS For Windows T test version 26.0 obtained T test or f = 11.824 on significance level of 0.001 which means significance. Based on the results of this study, self-management techniques in group counseling through Google meet to increase student interest in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at Dr. Soetomo Surabaya.

Abstract

Learning difficulties are a condition that causes obstacles in the student learning process. This study aims to describe Learning difficulties associated with online learning during a pandemic. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The subjects involved in this study were 28 guidance and counseling students and 28 mathematics education students from x university, who was determined through a purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was the Questionnaire on learning difficulties of guidance and counseling students and mathematics education students which will then be compared. Thedata analysis used was descriptive quantitative. The results showed that 28 guidance and counseling students there are 4 students experiencing a high level of learning difficulty, then 22 students experiencing a moderate level of learning difficulty, 2 students experiencing a low level of learning difficulty, this is influenced by several factors, namely: 1) Physical factors; 2) Psychological factors. While the results of the questionnaire analysis 28 mathematics education students have several levels of learning difficulties, namely 5 students have high learning difficulties, 22 students have moderate learning difficulties, 2 students have low learning difficulties, this is influenced by several factors, namely: 1) Psychological factors; 2) Cognitive factors. Based on the results of data collection through the questionnaire that has been analyzed above, the researcher also conducted offline interviews on guidance and counseling students with mathematics education students at X University. The category of high-level learning difficulties of guidance and counseling students amounted to 4 students and mathematics education students amounted to 5 students, so from the study program the researchers took 5% for interviews.

Abstract

IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING TEACHERS THROUGH REALITY THEORY SKILLS. The importance of an effective quality counselor is the whole person of the counselor. This is indicated by the ability of the counselor’s performance through the approach or theory of guidance and counseling. It aims to improve the quality of the counselor’s performance through the reality therapy that can bring the full direction of the counselor's personality. Reality therapy directs the counselor’s personality to be responsibility, honest (reality), sincere (right) to facilitate counselors in conducting guidance and counseling services. The embodiment of this is carried out through community service activities. The method of activity used is an online workshop (webinar) with steps, the first is the initial step (observation), the planning stage, the socialization stage, and the ongoing evaluation stage of the program. The community service activities were attended by 255 participants. The results obtained in community service activities are that 55% have clear abilities, 43% have sufficient abilities, and 2% have less abilities. Thus, the form of contribution to the science of guidance and counseling and education is expected to be implemented (reality therapy) together with stakeholders in order to achieve optimal and comprehensive success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena yang terjadi yaitu pandemi yang mengharuskan pembelajaran disekolah dilakukan secara daring yang memberikan dampak bagi siswa dalam belajarnya. Bimbingan Belajar adalah aktivitas manusia secara sadar untuk mendapatkan  perubahan tingkah laku, kemampuan, keterampilan maupun sikap dalam dirinya ke arah yang lebih baik sebagai hasil dari pengalaman dan interaksi dengan lingkungannya. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dan cara guru BK mengimplementasikan layanan bimbingan belajar dalam mengajar  sebagai upaya meningkatkan belajar siswa pada saat mengikuti pembelajaran secara daring. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan angket dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini yaitu peran guru bimbingan dan konseling sangatlah penting dalam implementasi layanan bimbingan belajar di SMP N 2 Gresik selama masa pandemi, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari kolaborasi antara guru BK dengan guru mapel di sekolah.

Abstract

Keberanian mengungkapkan pendapat menjadi capaian dalam mencapai aktualisasi diri konselor. Wujud dari keberanian dalam ungkapan pendapat tersebut adalah sikap asertif. Konselor yang berisikap asertif memiliki harga diri yang kuat dalam melindungi peraturan dan haknya. Untuk itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini mengimplementasikan teknik latihan asertif dalam rangka mencapai aktualisasi diri konselor. Implementasi latihan asertif dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat. Adapun metode kegiatan yang digunakan ialah workshop (webinar) secara online (daring) dengan langkah-langkah, pertama langkah awal (observasi), tahap perencanaan, tahap sosialisasi, dan tahap evaluasi berkelanjutan program. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini diikuti oleh 158 peserta. Hasil yang diperoleh sebesar 54,8% sangat setuju, 43,2% setuju, 2% kurang setuju, 0% tidak setuju terkait kepuasan manfaat latihan asertif bagi aktualisasi diri konselor. Tercapainya aktualiasasi diri melalui latihan asertif ini telah memberikan kontribusi bagi individu dalam memiliki sikap asertif. Ini dimaksudkan bahwa individu yang memiliki sikap asertif menjadi sikap bagi seorang pemerhati bimbingan dan konseling atau konselor, guna mencapai keberhasilan komprehensif dalam proses pemberian layanan bimbingan dan konseling.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul saku konseling Rational Emotif Terapi (RET) pada mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling calon konselor. Hal ini menjadi salah satu upaya alternatif peningkatan tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa BK terhadap konseling RET. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan dengan mengacu pada kegiatan pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan produk, uji coba awal, revisi hasil uji coba, dan uji lapangan. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu, sekitar 18% mahasiswa dari satu kelas sudah paham mengenai konseling RET, sedangkan 82% sisanya masih belum memahami konseling RET secara keseluruhan. Hal ini menjadi dasar keuntungan pengembangan dari modul saku konseling RET bagi mahasiswa semester akhir yang diprogramkan dalam pembekalan mahasiswa calon konselor. Hal ini disimpulkan dari hasil analisis need assessment pre-test bahwasanya seluruh mahasiswa atau 100% dalam satu kelas menyatakan membutuhkan pelatihan konseling RET dengan materi yang cukup sederhana dalam penyajian dan penyampaiannya. Maka dari itu, modul ini masih membutuhkan penyempurnaan dengan melakukan hasil revisi akhir untuk diproses administrasi hak cipta modulnya juga. Abstract

The phenomenon that occurred in March was Covid-19 Pandemic. It requires all activities at home, including the world of lectures. The lectures are currently conducted online, bringing up many obstacles and complaints felt by students, among them excessive demands for assignments, delayed practice, difficulty in understanding and digesting materials, difficulty with website access, signals that must be stable, related to single tuition payments, and internet quotas, so it can make students become stressed, or what is commonly called academic stress. Academic stress is a pressure experienced by individuals related to academic demands, affecting physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive conditions. This study aims to find out the academic stress experienced by students in online lectures. This study represents a qualitative, descriptive type of research approach. The instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. The sample in this study amounted to 98 students. The data analysis techniques are data reduction, presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The results of this study can be inferred that the 2018 Army Students at X University course online experience academic stress with categories high 37 students, medium 60 students, and low 1 student. Therefore, students are expected to be able to control and adjust to online lectures to minimize academic stress.

Abstract

This study was followed by a pandemic phenomenon in which learning was boldly carried out. Bold learning has an impact on students’ declining learning responsibilities. Learning responsibility is the obligation to completely completely completely accomplish tasks through utmost effort and courageously bear all the consequences. This study constitutes a type of quantitative research by using the pre-experimental one-group pre-test post-test design method. The samples that this study used were purposive sampling with criteria students late in task collection, students late in taking learning, students never collected tasks. The data analysis technique used is a nonparametric statistical analysis using Wilcoxon tests. Research results that the implementation of group guidance services with animated videos is effective in enhancing students’ learning responsibility.
