Abstract

Tradisi lisan merupakan salah satu produk kebudayaan atau hasil kreasi kelompok etnik tertentu secara berulang-ulang dan turun-temurun yang didominasi oleh unsur kelisanan dan membentuk sebuah konvensi budaya. Tradisi pemanggil hujan termasuk dalam tradisi lisan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek struktur, formula, dan fungsi yang terdapat dalam mantra dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan empat buah mantra di tempat yang berbeda tetapi masih berada dalam satu kabupaten. Mantra tersebut ialah: Tembang Pamoji, Demmong, Esmo Kerem, dan Bato’ Ondem.

Abstract

Julang Sulawesi birds (Rhyticeros cassidix) and ebony tree (Diospyros celebica Bakh) are protected sulawesi endemic species and the both species be found in the Pangi Binangga Nature Reserve. Julang sulawesi bird is a fruit-eating birds species including ebony fruit. The purpose of this research is to determine the association of julang sulawesi birds (Rhyticeros cassidix) with ebony tree (Diospyros celebica Bakh) in the area of Pangi Binangga Nature Reserve, Moutong Parigi District. This research was conducted in three months starting from May to July 2013. This research uses the transect method that is make make 20x20 meter plots for 20 plots and placed parallel along side the 500-meter transect. The research was conducted at the time where ebony trees are not in fruiting season, there is interaction in which the julang sulawesi birds utilize ebony tree as a resting place on the analysis using of chi-square X2 however it was found that julang sulawesi birds (Rhyticeros cassidix) and ebony tree (Diospyros celebica Bakh) are not associated. Abstract

The aims of this study were to know the potency and the development of natural tourism objects in Saluki Village, Gumbasa Distric, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. The respondents were selectedby using purposive sampling methods. The study was employedStrengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats (SWOT) analysis. The results showed that the potency of natural tourisms around Maleo (Macrocephalon maleo) habitat were Maleo birds, camping ground, river, Hot water, waterfall, tracking and hiking area, and other objects for science and research development. Hence, the development form of natural tourism in this area was divided in two parts. First, an area used as nesting grounds and activities of Maleo birds. Abstract

This research was conducted on May 2013 - July 2013 in Dongi-Dongi area at Lore-Lindu National Park, to determine the species composition, attendance rates, species diversity, composition based on category guild and species evenness of birds. This rescarch used transect method. Data were collected using four units of 500 m line transect each. For residential area and around forest habitat, it was found there are 45 species of bird within 25 families where 22 of them are endemic. In residential area there were 8 species with attendance rate of 100 %, 2 species of 75 %, 5 species of 50 % and 16 species of 25 %. Meanwhile, the diversity index in residential area (H) was 3.19 , and 3.17 in forest habitat. In addition, evenness in residential area and forest habitat ispectively (E) are 0. 93 and 0.89. Based on the category guild, 7 compositions found in residential area and 9 in forest habitat. Keywords: Diversity, bird species, forest, Dongi-Dongi residential.

Abstract

The research objective were to analyze the vegetation of orchid habitat and to determine orchids species around Tambing Lake, Lore Lindu National Park area, Sedoa village, Lore Utara district, Poso regency, Central Sulawesi. The study employed survey method. The vegetation was recorded in 20m x 20m plots by using purposive sampling methods in orchid habitat. The collected data include all plant species and growth level swithin the sampling plot. The total observation area was 0,16 ha. The results showed that the total number of tree level of plant species recorded was 38 species comprising 9 families with the highest Importance Value Index (IVI) was 61,62%. The total number of pole level of plant species recorded was 34 species comprising 7 families with the highest IVI was 74, 43%. The total number of sapling level of plant species recorded was 37 species comprising 9 families with the highest IVI was 65,41%. Hence, The total number of seedling level of plant species recorded was 31 species comprising 7 families with the highest IVI was 49,34%. The highest IVI at all growth levels was achieved by Kaha (Castanopsis accuminatisima). In addition, there were 12 orchid species comprising 8 genus founded in this area,i.e; Agrostophyllum, Bulbophyllum, Calanthe, Coelogyne, Dendrobium, Dendrochyllum, Eria, and Trichotosia. Abstract

A bird is a wildlife which could be found almost in any vegetated environment. The existence of a bird in one area is very important because it could affect the presence and distribution of plant species. This study aims to determine species composition, attendance of birds, evennes, species diversity, and the dominance of birds in Saembawalati Swamp Forest. The study was conducted from April to June 2013. Data collection was carried out using line transect method. After conducting the research in Saembawalati swamp forest, it was found 34 species of birds from 15 families, swamp forest habitat tree vegetation zones have indeks values species diversity (H) = 2.75 and evenness (E) = 0.11 and swamp forest habitat zones has turf vegetation index values species diversity (H)=3.00 and evennes (E) = 0.10. There were four species of birds that are always found in the swamp forest of Saembawalati; Egretta garzetta, Gallinula chloropus, Phaenicophaeus calyorhynchus, and Amaurornis phoenicurus. Hence, Saembawalati swamp forest was dominated by four species of birds; Bubulcus ibis, Egretta garzetta, Dicrurus hottentottus, Phaenicophaeus calyorhynchus. Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this research by the low learning outcome biology of students MAN Koto Baru Dharmasraya, which is caused by several factors such as learning less interesting and boring, teachers tend to use lecture method and discussion, learning does not come with media and students are less activity and creative in learning. One attempt to do is by giving media puzzle and talking stick learning model. This research aimed to determine the effect media puzzle and talking stick learning model on learning outcome biology for students class X MAN Koto Baru Dharmasraya academic year 2012/2013. This type of research is experimental research, which is carried on class X semester 2 of academic year 2012/2013 in MAN Koto Baru Dharmasraya in May 2013, with the research design Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this research is the students of class X MAN Koto Baru Dharmasraya academic year 2012/2013 which consists of three class. The method of sample is by using Purposive Sampling, to determine the class of samples was done by the draw in order to obtain a sample class, class X1 as the experimental class and the control class as  a class  X2.  The  instrument  used  is the final  test  of learning  outcome  in  the form  of objective test of 30 items. Data analysis was performed with analysis of test-t. Be based on analysis  obtained  an average  grade  experimental  learning  result  is 72,56 with a standard deviation  of 7,82, while the control class is 66,42 with a standard of 10,73. Of the test-t analysis tobtained  (2,05) >ttable  (1,68) so it can concluded that the subjects with media puzzle and talking stick learning model can improve learning outcome biology class X MAN Koto Baru Dharmasraya

Abstract

Tarsius (Tarsius pumilus) is the smallest mammals in the world and some of the species are classified to the endemic species of Sulawesi island, Indonesia. Tarsius is a member of tarssidae family. The aims of this study were to determine bio-physics characteristics of tarsius habitats at the mount Rorekatimbu. Research was performed as field research at Mount Rorekatimbu, Lore Lindu National Park, Central Sulawesi. This research was conducted from February through April 2014.Ninet sample plots were made by the size of 20x20 m. Ploting was done by purposive sampling method around tarsius habitats.Hence vegetation date were analysed to determine the density, frequency, dominant, and Importance Value Index.The results showed that the highest importance value index (IVI) at the tree and pole level was Castanopsis acuminatissima (Blume) A.DC with the value 109,88% and 71,74%, respectively. At the sapling level, the highest IVI was achieved by Pinanga cease Blume with the value 80,90%, and at the seedling level, the highest IVI was achieved by Calamus sp with the value 36,77%. Furthermore, the abiotic condition of the habitat including; temperature (14ºC-20ºC) and relative humidity (64%-83%) and located at 2031mtill 2084 m asl. Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical that has vast forest regions. The existence of the forest region is national asset must be managed continuously and developed to the better way so that they can be sustainable utilized. Herbal plant is a kind of forest product non wood which useful for ecology, social-cultural, or economic that must be managed as long as the utilization rationally to nowadays generation needs and the fature. The objective of the research was to find out the difersity of herbal plants located in preserved forest utilised by Tindoli people at Tindoli village of South East Pamona Sub District Poso Regency. The vegetation analysis method in the field was multi plots method which purposively done. The vegetation specimen taking was done by emloying 20 plots specimen located in spread. The size of the observation plots was 20m x 20m made as 20 plots that the whole wide of observation plots was 0.8 ha. The research result done in preserved forest at Tindoli Village of South East Pamona Sub District Poso Regency found that there were 25 kinds of herbal plants including 21 familes. For each of tree vegetation level, it was obtained the kind of diversity index 1.87, pople vegetation level 1.96, stake vegetation level 1.76, seedling vegetation level and plants 2.43. based on the index calculation of herbal plants diversity at the preserved forest in Tindoli Village from herbal plants of seedling level and underground plants, stake level, pople level, they were generally categorized low. Abstract

Wera a natural park is one of the consevation area in central sulawesi. This research was conduucted in a natural park Wera. This research was a conducted in November 2013 to January 2014. The purpose of this research was to determine the diversity of bird species, composition of bird species, bird attendance rate, evenness index, and dominance of bird species in the natural park Wera. Source of data obtained to collect data bird in a natural park Wera using IPA (point index of abundance). In research used the path length 1000m with a circle whose diameteror radius of a circle of 50m and the distance between midpoint of 100m. Species composition in the morning found 21 bird species included in 15 families with a population of 175 tail. The level of presence of birds in the morning there are 15 kinds of 100%, 50% and 5 types of observations afternoon on 10 kinds of 100%, 6 types of 50%. Diversity index obtained in the morning (H’) 2.819, while in the afternoon diversity index (H’) 2.502, evenness index in a morning (E) 0.941. while in the afternoon (E) 0.902. In the morning there are eleven categories based on guild composition, whereas the composition of forest habitats there are seven categories based guild. Dominance of species of birds on observation that dominant morning there were 45%, 50% sub-dominan, not dominant 5%, while in the afternoon observation that dominant 56%, sub-dominan 44%, which is not dominant is not found.
