Abstract

One way to increase teacher professional development is through the provision of quality learning media, namely E-learning or Internet learning because it is a medium that can improve the quality of education. The purpose of this workshop is to be able to add new knowledge and experience for teacher in the implementation of learning methods, to be able to use the internet in the learning process and to be able to modify learning methods by utilizing information technology facilities as an effort to develop professional teachers. The method used starts from the planning stage, implementation to the evaluation stage. The workshop was carried out for two days. The first day is more focused on providing material while the second day is more focused on the practice of using e- learning module application technology. The workshop participants were very enthusiastic during the activity.

Abstract

Interest in learning is one of the determining factors for achieving learning objectives. Through interest, students will have the urge to follow the ongoing learning process. One way to increase student interest in learning is by using technology in earning process, such as the use of technology- based learning media. Learning media that are used appropriately in the learning process will be a more effective and efficient supporting tool in achieving learning objectives. The purpose of this workshop is to increase the learning interest of Senior High School students in Padang Pariaman Regency through the use of learning media using technology. This workshop is not only intended for students but also the teachers. University Community Engagement Program (PkM) is carried out through 5 (five) stages, namely: the preliminary stage, the socialization and audience stage, the workshop implementation stage, and the final evaluation stage. The workshop is conducted for 2 (two) days and is given separately for teachers and students. On the first day, the material was presented to teachers and students. Furthermore, the second day of the workshop focused on the practice of making learning media using the internet and its use.

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan kondisi yang hingga saat ini masih menjadi permasalahan di Indonesia. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari masih tingginya jumlah penduduk miskin di Indonesia pada tahun 2021 mencapai 26,5 juta jiwa. Kemiskinan ini tidak terjadi begitu saja, salah satunya karena minimnya penghasilan rumah tangga sehingga membuat mereka tak mampu memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Pemberantasan kemiskinan di Indonesia memerlukan kerjasama berbagai pihak, baik pemerintah maupun swasta. Oleh sebab itu, tim pengabdian masyarakat bersama LAZ Dompet Dhuafa menjalankan program berbasis kearifan lokal untuk meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir melalui pemberdayaan perempuan. Program ini menyasar 50 perempuan keluarga nelayan kerang hijau di wilayah pesisir pantai Serang, Provinsi Banten, Indonesia. Wilayah ini merupakan wilayah penghasil kerang hijau tetapi belum terbudidayakan dengan baik. Praktek nelayan masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga hasil yang didapatkan tidak optimal. Hal ini berdampak pada tingkat penghasilan masyarakat yang masih rendah. Program pengabdian dalam bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan perempuan keluarga nelayan. Program dijalankan selama satu tahun dengan pendampingan penuh. Program ini melingkupi pemberian modal usaha, pelatihan skil, dan pendampingan usaha. Evaluasi dampak program ini dihitung dengan metode SLIA (Sustainable Livelihood Impact Assessmen. Hasil program pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa program memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap kesejehteraan masyarakat. Hal ini dapat dilihat baik dari aspek peningkatan pendapatan, aspek fisik, aspek alam, aspek sumber daya manusia, maupun aspek sosial.

Abstract

As an independent country, Indonesia has aspired to educate the nation through education. However, now, education in Indonesia has many problems. The quality of school in Indonesia are still low, especially in marginal schools. It is located in outlying place, inland, or border. Dompet Dhuafa as one of the NGOs managing ZISWAF funds (Zakah, Infak, Sedekah, Waqaf) which is aimed to improve the welfare of the community through Makmal Pendidikan has made various efforts in advancing the education in Indonesia, especially in education for the poor (marginal). This research was conducted in 2019 up to 2020 in 2 marginal schools (Elementary School and Islamic Elementary School) located in Indonesia. This reseach is a quasi-experimental longitudinal study, through the MPC4SP Tools intervention. This tools is used to assess the schools that will be the target of mentoring assistance which consists of a score of 0 - 1000 points (level 1 to 5). The result of the school assessment is used as the basic data for the establishment and improvement of school performance through mentoring process for headmaster and teachers. MPC4SP are focused on 6 criteria: Leadership of Learning, Effectiveness of Learning, Literacy and Mathematics, Educational Leadership, Character building Learning Environment. The results showed that the increasing of school performance score, that is as much as 100 points in Elementary School and 220 points in Islamic Elementary School. It means that there is an increasing in the level of school quality from level 1 to level 2 in elementary school and level 3 to level 4 in Islamic elementary school after program intervention..
