Abstract

This study intends to describe business opportunities for beauty products made from local plants to increase the income of MSME actors in Cikaso Village. The technique used in collecting data is by interviewing, observing and analyzing qualitatively descriptive. The results of this study conclude that the business opportunity for beauty products is very wide open in line with the development of people's needs for traditional products. With the support of Cikaso's fertile natural wealth and large yards in almost every home, making the process of making beauty products is not difficult. However, in the midst of government support to empower beauty products made from local plants, it is hampered by people's distrust of producing them.

Abstract

The policy issued by the Government an effort to overcome the increasingly severe spread of Covid 19 has caused various tourism industries to have a very significant impact. It is a concern to be discussed. With the policies implemented, it is scourge for the live and death of the tourism industry, starting from restrictions and closures to the termination of employees in the tourism industry. The purpose of this community service is to conduct an assessment and use the results as an academic formulation that can be proposed and implemented by the Government and industry players in reviving Semarang City tourism so that it will provide support for economic turnover and regional income. This community service uses a descriptive method by reviewing the policies applied to the tourism industry. The result obtained in this service are the motivation to stay afloat for tourism actors realized by product packaging and promotions adapted to the current situation in the domestic and international scope. However, the obstacle is the existence of policies that often change, so that tourism industry players must continuously adjust the regulations set by the Government. The conclusion drawn is the decree of rules carried out repeatedly with close and overlapping time intervals eventually lead to inhibition/ termination of the tourism insdustry business in Semarang.

Abstract

Abstrak: Industri Kreatif merupakan konsep yang dapat menyelaraskan ide, kreativitas dan keterampilan serta inovasi, sehingga terciptanya suatu produk dan akhirnya menciptakan insan yang produktif. Permasalahannya konsep desa wisata berbasis ekonomi kreatif di Desa Cikaso merupakan prioritas utama dalam rintisan Desa Wisata.  Belum adanya minat para pemuda karang taruna ikut berkontribusi dalam kegiatan masyarakat, serta rendahnya minat berwirausaha untuk membangun desanya lebih maju lagi dan saling bersinergi. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk penerapan model ekonomi kreatif berbasis pariwisata melalui kegiatan pemanfaatan teknologi, menangkap peluang usaha digital mencapai Cikaso Creative. Metode kegiatan PKM ini Focus Group Discussion, metode presentasi dan metode demonstrasi. Hasil kegiatan PKM kepada karang taruna Cikaso berupa adanya hasil kreatifitas desain toko online, pengemasan produk, dan pemasaran produk melalui video. Abstract:  Creative Industry is a concept that can harmonize ideas, creativity, and skills as well as innovation so that a product is created and ultimately creates a productive human being. The problem is that the concept of a creative economy-based tourism village in Cikaso Village is a top priority in the pioneering of the Tourism Village. There is no interest among youth from youth organizations in contributing to community activities, as well as the low interest in entrepreneurship to build their village more advanced and synergize with each other. This PKM activity aims to implement a tourism-based creative economy model through technology utilization activities, capturing digital business opportunities to reach Cikaso Creative. This PKM activity method is Focus Group Discussion, presentation method, and demonstration method. The results of PKM activities for Cikaso youth group are in the form of creative results in online store designs, product packaging, and product marketing via video.

Abstract

MUA is one of the new types of businesses that is on the rise among young people because it is easy and does not require difficult conditions to follow. The large number of MUA business actors and the ease of young people to join have resulted in the emergence of slightly adverse competition, namely the price problem. The purpose of this study is to analyze the career trends of young people in the field of Bridal Make Up Artist. The method used is descriptive qualitative, namely analyzing the findings in the field. The result of this study is that the career trend of young people in the MUA type of business is very profitable because it can have an impact on decreasing the unemployment rate, besides that the MUA business can also bring up other types of businesses as support, including decoration services, entertainment, catering, photographers and Wedding Organizer services. With the positive impact given, it needs special attention from the local government to be developed.

Abstract

Tari Iswara merupakan salah satu tari kreasi baru yang dikemas sebagai welcome dance di Desa Kedungboto, dan ditarikan secara berkelompok dengan menggunakan properti berupa jaran, serta dilengkapi dengan busana dan tata rias. Tari Iswara sendiri menceritakan tentang prajurit perempuan yang selalu riang gembira dikala banyak beban yang dipanggul dalam menghadapi perjuangannya. Sifat riang gembira muncul dari susunan gerakan yang simple dan ringan yang membuat penarinya dapat bergerak dengan bebas dan penuh kegembiraan bagaikan prajurit yang sedang menari atas kemenangan. Pengembangan tari kreasi baru ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya partisipasi perempuan dalam welcome dance di Desa Kedungboto. Tari welcome dance awalnya hanya diperankan oleh laki-laki. Pendampingan pengemasan tari kreasi ini dilakukan dengan metode praktek langsung dan observasi sesuai kondisi masyarakat Kedungboto. Hasil Pendampingan adanya tarian Iswara, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan partisipasi perempuan dalam welcome dance. Jumlah peserta dalam tiap kelompok tari Iswara dilaksanakan dengan pemberdayaan perempuan sejumlah 20 orang peserta, terdiri dari 10 kelompok ibu-ibu dan juga 10 kelompok perempuan. Secara signifikan adanya grafik perubahan keterlibatan masyarakat setempat secara tidak langsung yaitu pengemasan tarian iswara sebagai kalender event budaya lokal desa. Hal ini berdampak adanya peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat melalui tarian welcome dance yang dapat menarik wisatawan berkunjung ke Desa Kedungboto, Kendal. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bekerjasama dengan kemdikbud, kepala desa, pokdarwis, masyarakat, ukm tari dan perguruan tinggi Stiepari Semarang.
