Abstract

This public service is inspired by the previous action as one of the volunteers in UHAMKA Covid- 19 action. There were 100 Engineering students’ Online motorbike drivers involved in the project yet the recovery of the pandemi is not over. Therefore further programs in the form of creative industry is provided to develop literacy in enterpreneuship. Practitioners are invited in online workshop to support and inspire the participants who are the drivers and the teachers from vocational high school. Follow-up actions in the form of class actions are carried out online with integrative multimedia in English. The activity was carried out using a method consisting of several steps, namely: student Ojol training participants, training in applying knowledge with character development as a starter, interacting with resource persons, simulating the trainees' understanding of integrative multimedia applications in the creative industry and recording in video form. The results of the implementation of the Creative Industry PKM with integrative multimedia have inspired the participants to develop themselves in the business sector. The English used in the media in the form of videos with online business development materials with minimal capital from resource persons and videos in English from Jack Ma have motivated and improved the ability of student members of the PKM partner online driver community and inspired Abdimas partner teachers to add integrated English content with other subject matter.

Abstract

PRACTICES TO USE MOBILE-BASED VIRTUAL REALITY TECHNOLOGY FOR LEARNING MEDIA ASSEMBLING PERSONAL COMPUTER. The Vocational High Schools are still teaching assembling computers in the conventional way. However, this method is deemed ineffective and inefficient, because of the continuous development of computer technology and very expensive prices. The current covid pandemic condition is also a new problem that makes it difficult for students to practice assembling computers face-to-face. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to utilize virtual reality (VR) technology as a learning medium to simulate PC assembly. The first the PC assembly learning application was made using Java Android program which was adjusted to the basic curriculum for computer assembly. Second, if this application has been successfully created, training will be carried out for students. The training will be carried out in several stages, the first stage by registering, filling out a questionnaire via Google Form. The second stage, the provision of material that will begin with an explanation of the introduction of VR technology. The third stage, is the setting and installation of the PC assembly learning program with VR on the Android cellphone of each participant, followed by the participants practicing the use of the VR program with VR glasses 3 D. The results of the student questionnaire stated that they had previously known that VR technology could be used. as a medium of learning in schools worth 34%. The results of the questionnaire after PKM were held, the results of 88.25% of students felt that VR was useful if it was used in the education sector such as computer assembly.

Abstract

Pengabdian Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya peran orang tua dalam menjaga anak-anak dari bahaya yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh gadget dengan cara memberikan pengetahuan bagaimana mengoptimalkan fitur keamanan yang ada di dalam aplikasi pada gadget. Manfaat dari pengaddian ini adalah mengurangi dampak negative penggunaan gadget pada anak dengan memaksimalkan peran orang tua dalam memantau penggunaan gadget pada anak-anak. Target yang ingin dicapai dari pelatihan ini adalah orang tua menjadi lebih peduli dalam menjaga anak-anak dari bahaya yang ditimbulkan gadget pada anak.

Abstract

Aplikasi pengaduan masyarakat adalah sebuah sarana aspirasi dalam bentuk pengaduan masyarakat berbasis online yang berprinsip mudah, terpadu dan tuntas untuk pengawasan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat suatu aplikasi yang bisa dipakai memudahkan masyarakat untuk melaporkan suatu kejadian dan bisa direspon atau ditanggapi dengan cepat, efektif dan efesien oleh pihak instansi terkait. Dengan mengunakan metode pengembangan sistem Extreme Programming (XP) diharapkan aplikasi yang dibuat lebih cepat selesai dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah membuat sistem pengelolaan aplikasi pengaduan masyarakat untuk admin yang berbentuk web aplikasi untuk menampung hasil dari pengaduan dari masyarakat yang menggunakan aplikasi mobile, dengan harapan pihak kelurahan dapat mendengarkan setiap keluhan yang masuk dari masyarakat melewati aplikasi ini dan dapat direspon dengan baik dan ditindak lanjuti hasil dari pelaporan masyarakat.

Abstract

Masa pandemi Covid-19 mengakibatkan anak-anak tidak bisa belajar dengan tatap muka normal di sekolah, digantikan dengan belajar dari rumah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital. Orangtua tidak pernah mempersiapkan diri untuk mendampingi anak belajar dari rumah dengan menggunakan teknologi digital sebelumnya, namun harus melakukannya demi keselamatan semua pihak. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi orangtua tentang pemanfaatan teknologi digital pada anak usia 4-6 tahun pada masa pandemi. Studi ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci. Responden penelitian ini adalah 92 orangtua murid Taman Kanak-kanak di Kota Bekasi yang menerapkan pembelajaran dari rumah di masa pandemi dan memanfaatkan teknologi digital. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi dan penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Durasi pemanfaatan teknologi digital oleh anak pada pandemi paling lama adalah pengoperasian telepon pintar dengan penggunaan aplikasi youtube; 2) Pemahaman orangtua tentang pemanfaatan teknologi digital masuk kategori baik karena mampu menjelaskan perlengkapan digital yang digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, memahami dampak baik dan buruk pemanfaatan teknologi, serta memahami perlunya kebijakan pemaafaatan alat teknologi sesuai umur anak; 3) Mayoritas orangtua memberikan tanggapan negative terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi digital bagi anak; 4) Untuk menghindari dampak negative pemanfaatan teknologi digital pada anak, maka sikap orangtua cenderung mengambil sikap melakukan tindakan pencegahan; 5) Orangtua mempunyai harapan positif anak akan mendapatkan kebaikan dari kemajuan teknologi dan terhindar dari keburukan akibat penggunaannya.

Abstract

Based on observations and existing data in the UHAMKA Informatics Engineering Study Program, the number of students who do not graduate on time (8 semesters) in each generation will cause an accumulation of the number of students, lack of classrooms, and lack of parking space. One of the ways to increase student graduation on time is to predict from begin which students have the potential to didn’t graduate on time, so that preventive action can be taken by the study program management or faculty. Prediction can be done using data mining by utilizing data from students who have graduated. The data mining method used in this study is Naive Bayes using gender attributes, achievement index from semester one to semester four and semester one to semester four credits. The Naive Bayes algorithm will be made several models and the highest accuracy value will be sought from the model. The model evaluation uses K-fold Cross Validation and the prediction results will be used by the academic supervisor to evaluate students whose prediction results are unsatisfactory. The model with the best results is the 3rd model with an accuracy rate of 80.19%, a recall of 80.26%, precision 92.75% and F-Measure 86.05% which will be used for implementation in the student graduation prediction application.

Abstract

Based on information in a press conference at the Merdeka Palace on Saturday, 03 September 2022 at 14.30 WIB, President Joko Widodo has decreed that the price of fuel be officially raised. This is a burden for road users, especially users of two-wheeled vehicles. Currently, many people use social media sites to submit complaints regarding this topic. One of them social media Twitter. Therefore, sentiment analysis was carried out using 2 methods, namely the Naïve Bayes Classifier and the Decision Tree on 1100 tweets obtained from the keyword "bbm up". The test results show thatthe best Performance is using the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm, which produces values with an accuracy of 94.91%and for the Decision Tree algorithm only gets an accuracy of 62.57%. The results of sentiment are, positive totaling 68data, neutral totaling 20 data, and negative totaling 301 data. The results of more negative sentiment show that the increase in fuel prices in Indonesia has not been accepted by the Indonesian people on social media Twitter.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is an epidemic that poses a threat to both physical and mental health. The mental health disorders that many people experience during the Covid-19 pandemic are depression, stress, and excessive anxiety. Some people use Twitter and other social media to voice their problems to lessen this effect. The goal of this research is to determine how people feel about mental health amid the Covid-19 pandemic on Twitter. The sentiment data will be analyzed based on assessment findings from the testing model using the Naïve Bayes and Deep Learning algorithms using RapidMiner, and it will be divided into groups of positive sentiment and negative sentiment. This research compares the performance of two algorithms to determine which one performs better while analyzing the public's sentiment toward mental health during the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the research findings, the Deep Learning algorithm performed better with accuracy scores of 86,46%, precision scores of 89,54%, and recall scores of 95,10% than the Naive Bayes algorithm compared to accuracy scores of 76,52%, precision scores of 87,97%, and recall scores of 83,66% at analyzing public sentiment towards mental health during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Fakultas Teknologi Industri dan Informatika UHAMKA, memiliki website resmi yang mengacu pada sistem informasi universitas yang berfungsi untuk pelayanan yang efektif dan menggunakan teknologi terkini. Faktanya, masih memiliki beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa masih sering bertanya via japri ke pihak sekretariat, akademik maupun pimpinan prodi dan fakultas jika memerlukan informasi, serta masih sering melewatkan informasi yang ada di broadcast Grup WhatsApp. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk merencanakan dan menerapkan teknologi chatbot yang memberikan mahasiswa akses informasi yang cepat dan mudah tentang akademik Fakultas Teknologi Industri dan Informatika UHAMKA secara mudah dan cepat. Chatbot ini diimplementasikan menggunakan tools Dialogflow dengan metode Prototype dan Telegram API. Setelah melakukan uji coba blackbox, Bot Telegram yang dibuat telah terbukti mampu memberikan respons yang memuaskan terhadap pertanyaan yang diajukan, sehingga dapat memberikan bantuan kepada user dalam memperoleh informasi akademik yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu, pengguna tidak perlu menunggu terlalu lama untuk menerima balasan dari chatbot, sehingga membuat chatbot yang digunakan dapat beroperasi dengan cepat dan tepat.The UHAMKA Faculty of Industrial and Informatics Technology has an official website that refers to a university information system that functions for effective service and uses the latest technology. In fact, there are still several problems that occur, namely lecturers and students still often ask via email to the secretariat, academics or study program and faculty leaders if they need information, and they still often miss information that is   WhatsApp Group. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to plan and implement chatbot technology that gives students quick and easy access to information about the academics of the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Informatics UHAMKA easily and quickly. This chatbot is implemented using Dialogflow tools with the Prototype method and the Telegram API. After conducting a blackbox trial, the Telegram Bot that was created has been proven to be able to provide a satisfactory response to the questions asked, so that it can provide assistance to users in obtaining the required academic information. In addition, users don't have to wait too long to receive a reply from the chatbot, so that the chatbot used can operate quickly and precisely.

Abstract

In accepting new students at Prof. University. Dr. Hamka, many prospective students or parents of students are looking for registration information, this is a great opportunity for Uhamka to gain the sympathy of prospective students to register at Uhamka, especially the Faculty of Industrial and Informatics Technology. The problem in this study is that there is no data processing related to the factors that influence the interest of prospective new students to choose the Faculty of Industrial and Informatics Technology (FTII) Uhamka. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the interest of prospective new students in choosing majors at the Faculty of Industrial and Information Technology (FTII) Uhamka. The attributes used in this study were 10 attributes, namely full name, major, tuition fee, FII location with domicile, presence of friends/family, accreditation, facilities, PMB services, PMB information, and information of interest. The method that researchers use in this study is the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm (K-NN). From the results of testing the researchers used the K-5 fold technique and the confusion matrix obtained an average accuracy of 72.5%, which means it is good.
